Need DMZ set up document?

Dear
We have our Oracle ERP R12 running on i550 machines with AIX 5L, 2 LPAR's. Our requirement for iprocurement module is that, we need to have DMZ setup. What should be the configuration setup? IBM pseries server are very costly, we are planning to have IBM iseries servers. Can we have iseries server with aix for DMZ setup? Need to explore about DMZ?

    i am not sure about the script, why not create crawl rule which will exclude the allitems.aspx from showing in the search results.

  • Need to set/read 'Keyword' in a PDF programatically

    We have adobe professional license ver 9.
    When a user downloads a PDF from our custom web application (C#), we need to set a keyword (attribute) to the PDF automatically. The 'Keywords' field in 'File > Properties' seems to be ideal location.
    User typically edits this downloaded PDF and uploads it again back to the web application. During this editing, the keyword is assumed to remain the same.
    Finally, user uploads the edited PDF back to the web application. At this point, the keyword is to be read from PDF.
    Kindly suggest API's to set/read keyword.

    This is not a scripting question. The solution needs to be in the custom
    application you're using to create the PDF files.
    The "Keywords" field is just a part of the document metadata, which any PDF
    library should be able to edit.

  • Need help setting up and configuring rsync

    Hello
    I need help setting up, or rather configuring rsync to sync data between my brand new iMac and my Macbook Air.
    Here is what I would like to:
    - I want all of the files on both machines to be an exact mirror or copy of each other. Basically I have an iMac for at home, and then a Macbook Air for the road.
    - The main folder on both Macs is called 'Sara' and I want the contents (mainly the 'movies' folder, 'music' folder, 'documents' folder and 'pictures' folder) to immediately sync up with each other when both of them are on my home network.
    - this means if I'm working on a file at home on my Macbook, it will immediately write to the same directory on my iMac and vice versa (if I'm working on file(s) on my iMac, it will immediately save the contents to my Macbook). This way, if I'm working on last minute project my iMac, and then have to head out the door to the airport, the file is immediately saved to my Macbook (no usb for USB transfer).
    - hopefully this makes sense??

    It's a lofty but unrealistic goal.  Rsync does not run automatically.  There is no realistic method of instantaneously synching two computers over the internet or even on a LAN.
    I would suggest you might try using Synk Pro which, in theory, can keep two devices in sync when they are both on the same network (and both have shared and mounted drives.)
    If you must do this with rsync then I suggest a Google search for rsync tutorials.

  • How do I set the document language in Pages '13?

    In Pages '09 it was possible to set a document's language by going to the More tab in the Text menu of the Inspector and selecting the language from the pull-down menu.
    In Pages '13 this has disappeared from the text format More sidebar, and I cannot find any way to set the language at all. It is possible to alter the spell-checking language in the Spelling and Grammar menu (under Edit in the menu bar), but this also indicates that the document language is set somewhere centrally. See this screenshot, where I have a document that was obviously set to Br. English and I want it in Am. English:
    I have to work in multiple languages and various flavors (it's the same in German). My system language is set to English and my keyboard to Am. English.
    Any idea of what to do?

    That is all you can do at present with Pages 5.  Like Peter said, if you want something more, you need to go back to Pages 4.

  • Managing a set of documents that require approval, for each project stage

    Good day to all,
    I am new to SharePoint but I have dived in head first due to my job.
    The users I am dealing with need a solution where they can upload a specific set of named document types (example: project charter, site plan, schedule, costing approval, designs) but all documents will be scanned to PDF before being uploaded. Every stage
    will have its own set of documents with the same named document types. Each document has to be checked and the approved.
    I know I can use a workflow for the check and approve part.
    What I don't know is how to create a "blank" document set for uploading PDF files. In other words, I envisioned that I would have a document set of sorts where I can enter common information such as the Project Number, and the Project stage, and
    then I would have multiple upload fields that are named by the types above (project charter, site plan, etc.) so that the users will know exactly what documents are needed to complete the document set.
    Can anyone assist me in find a solution?

    One thing to note is that the document set content type in SharePoint is analogous to a folder; you don't specify upload fields on the document set, but users can upload any number of documents to the set once it is created. You can have fields of information
    on the document set, and different fields of information on the documents within the set.
    With that in mind, the best way to accomplish what you're looking for may be to have columns on the document set that indicate which required documents have been uploaded.
    Document Set content type columns:
    Project Number (text)
    Project Stage (choice)
    Project Charter Complete (yes/no)
    Site Plan Complete (yes/no)
    Schedule Complete (yes/no)
    Costing Approval Complete (yes/no)
    Designs Complete(yes/no)
    Document content type columns:
    Document type (choice)
    It can either be a manual step so that when a user uploads a document, they then mark the corresponding yes/no checkbox, or it could be automated with a workflow.

  • New user - need info on reading documents

    I dusted off my husbands old Tungsten E which I know is kind of old but would be sufficient for my needs, namely use it to read documents on the go.  (My husband is not much help as he never did really used it.) So really all I need is information on cheap or free software (and how to put it on the PDA) so I can open  either word or pdf files, all I need is to read, no editing necessary. I have an SD card I can use to move the files from my pc, so I don't have to deal with much sinking. 
    As you can't tell I am not very PDA savy, so the simpler the better.  Thank you all in advance for any help.

    i need to manually set the document number for an A/R invoice. Is it possible to do this when i have the invoices managed with more than one series?
    I'm using the HandWritten property set to tYES, but the sdk help says that i have to use "-1" as series.
    Has anyone did something like this before?

    Have a look at the Order and Invoice sample code that comes with the SDK at ...

    As this allows you to use Handwritten document numbers based on the type of document that you choose such as Order or Invoice.

    PS-Since I am missing some of my app. cd's, with
    Macintosh, are u able to just drag the app. folders
    and drop them on your new Mac and they are fully
    executable? In other words, are all Mac compatible
    programs self contained within their app. folder, and
    they can be simply dragged and dropped without having

    other mac apps have to be installed/restored from

    Answer to this: it doesn't work. I tried it; my hard drive started having issues and I did "backups" in this way by dragging and dropping the applications to DVDs. By the time I bought an external HD a couple of days later, I couldn't use my laptop at all anymore, and after replacing the laptop's HD I tried to use the DVDs with copies of the applications. And they did NOT work. Ultimately I only lost a few things--.Mac's Freefall is the only thing that comes to mind right now--but reinstalling all the applications from original disks or from downloads (and tracking down the purchase receipts!) was very time-consuming. Fortunately the folks at the store just shrugged and put iLife back on the system for me, since I had no idea how to extract it off the disks that came with the computer.
    I think dragging and dropping did work with A FEW things, but only with basic stuff like Widgets.
    Hopefully if/ when disaster strikes again, the cloned drive I now have will make everything much easier. I'm using SuperDuper and it seems to work well enough.
    Oh, and I had all my photos/ music/ pictures/ documents/ calendars/ address books/ keychains/ mail backed up in a variety of ways: simply burnt to disk, or burnt to disk using .Mac's backup, or on iDisk. I got all that stuff back without difficulty. The applications were the hassle and so far as I can tell, the applications are what make cloning essential.

    Select "Partner Determination Procedure" as "DS - Scheduling Agreement"
    Once selected, mantain appropriate settings in following (from Left-hand side)
    Partner Determination Procedure Assignment (Sales Doc --> Partner determination Procedure).

    You have many options.
    Network the two Macs
    Use a Thunderbolt or FireWire cable and use FireWire Target Disk Mode
    Use Setup Assistant when you first set up a new Mac, or Migration Assistant at any time thereafter
    Use an inexpensive USB flash drive
    Email documents and files to yourself
    Use Dropbox or similar service
    Those are just a few. If you explain further or reply with the model of your "older" Mac and which OS version it is using, more specific information can be provided.
