Need help: Cancelling Wirefly contract within first 14 days

Ok so here's the story:
My Family plan 2 yr contract with Verizon was going to end on May, 28 2011.  However, I was eligible for a NE2 upgrade.  I decided to get the HTC Thunderbolt, and WIREFLY.com had a special price.  So, I decided to enter into a new 2 year agreement with them in order to qualify for the HTC Thunderbolt pricing.  It's been 7 days since I activated my contract with wirefly.  I've decided not to keep the Thunderbolt and get the iPhone instead.
My question is, can I cancel my contract with wirefly without incurring an ETF with Verizon?  And by cancelling with wirefly, will my numbers be ported back to Verizon?
Basically, to keep it simple, I want to undo everything I did with wirefly...biggest mistake I've ever made with purchasing mobile phones.
I would totally stick with them IF they offered the iPhone, but unfortunately they do not.  The Android phone isn't what I had expected it to be.  So I hope I can undo what I did.
Please help, any advice is appreciated.

When you made your purchase through Wirefly, you signed TWO contracts, one with Verizon for two years of service, and one with Wirefly, agreeing to maintain your service at the level you purchased for 6 months.  If you are within your 14 day return period, you will not owe an ETF to Verizon, but you MAY owe an ETF to Wirefly.  You will need to carefully read the paperwork you signed with Wirefly to determine what their return policies are.  And by cancelling with wirefly, will my numbers be ported back to Verizon? Your number was never ported away from Verizon.  Wirefly is a third party vendor that sells Verizon phones and service.

Call them and ask for the return period and procedure for making the return.  I would call immediately, since you have to mail the phone back to them, and they may need to recieve it by a certain day.

  • I have had constant problems with my Verizon broadband internet service, and can only assume I will need to cancel my contract.

    According to Verizon, my family is somehow using 15 to 16 GB of data per month on our unlimited data plan, sometimes more. This is a jump from 4 to 6 GB in the spring of 2012. We have done nothing to justify such a huge surge in data usage per month, but I don't seem to be able to get any satisfactory answer from Verizon as to what's going on. Our time spent on the Internet is no different than it's ever been. Last month, customer service tried to suggest that a virus we had had on one of our computers must have caused the computer to suck up data without our knowledge, but the virus is gone and our data usage just keeps getting worse. To make matters even more painful, such high "usage" causes Verizon to slow our UNLIMITED data service to such a snail's pace that we can't get anything substantial done online. And, for some reason, we now constantly lose our signal. We are connected via USB, which is a poor way to connect, granted. But it worked fine in the spring of this year. In fact, it was faster than anything we had had previously. Go figure? I tried to download Java last week, and the computer indicated it would take 15hrs to download. What a waste!
    Apparently, my only option is to switch to MiFi (we are in a rural location lacking DSL) for my household. And this will cost me at least $60 more per month. Why, pray tell, would I want to pay more money to solve a problem that Verizon cannot satisfactorily explain to me if there are no guarantees MiFi will work any better? I cannot get my money back if it fails to improve our situation. And what about the supposed data usage? Am I supposed to believe that my kids' Facebook time combined with our internet surfing eats up 3 to 4 times as much data as it did only a few months ago? I don't think so. Something is not adding up here. Oh...I do have one other option. Home Fusion broadband added to our account for even more money per month.
    Bottom line? Spend more money that I don't have for unreliable service, with what I believe to be bogus data usage charges. I think I just need to cancel Internet service, paying the fee for breaking my contract of course, and take my business elsewhere.
    Anyone else having these sorts of problems? What have you done about it?

    Regardless with what carrier your with you might have the same issue, My recommendation would be to get a router that will help you with viewing live traffic and keep a tally of your usage and any device connected to your internet connection.  You can go with the peplink balance 20 and be able to look at your traffic by the hour, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.  Look for trends, see what computers or devices are doing what I attached a screen shot so you can see an example of mine.  You can purchase the router at 3gstore

  • Need help creating pdf contracts: Reader vs. Acrobat

    I am needing some help regarding creating pdf contracts to send to clients. It will basically need to have info input by 2 different parties, the catering company and their client. I am on a Mac and will be originally creating the pdf contract. It will then be used by a catering company, who is using Windows. They will need to input information into this contract, such as dates, client info, prices, menus, etc. Then, they will email it to the client (probably using Windows) for their electronic signatures, ability to print for their files, etc., and then return the signed pdf to the catering company.
    I have been going through Reader and Acrobat to see which application would be better to use. In Acrobat, I exported the pdf to Word to input info, but Word changes the appearance/formatting of things. The catering personnel don't need to have to rearrange the appearance, they need something they can simply fill in info on. Is there a way around this?? I then made a new pdf and the rest of the process seemed to function okay.
    In Reader, I couldn't find a way to export to Word in order to fill in info and create a new pdf...is this correct? So it seems that I would have to create forms for both parties originally, then have the catering company fill out their portions, and then send the pdf onto the client to fill in their portions. But, if the client highlights the fields, all will be highlighted, not just the ones they need to complete. And, would they be able to alter the fields that the catering company filled out?
    Could somebody PLEASE help me out with the logistics of this process???

    OK...so 2 phone lines about to be 3 when the iphone 6 which is on a Edge line comes to house on Friday. Of the two lines one is upgrade eligible and has a iphone 5s on it and the other is upgrade eligible in 2015 and has a iphone 5. Can I swap my 5s number into the iphone 6 and become the Edge user, give the 5s to the iphone 5 user cancel the other who would upgrade to the iphone 6 some time? this is so confusing for me.

    I'm not sure I understand why you are adding a 3rd line.
    You say the line with the iPhone 5S is upgrade eligible and you want the iPhone 6 on that line with the Edge plan. Why not just get the iPhone 6 on the Edge plan with THAT line instead of starting a new line and then switching phones???? If a line is upgrade eligible, it is also Edge eligible!  You can then give the iPhone 5S to the iPhone 5 user to activate on their line. I'm not sure why there is a need to add a third line with Edge, switch phones around and then cancel a line????

    If it is has already been confirmed as ready for pickup, you would either need to call 1888bestbuy, go to the store, or simply wait and it will auto cancel after 8 days of being ready for pickup.

  • Need help with administrator password for first use??

    Hi, I'm not sure if this is a dummy question. I just installed BI EE, then I was trying to open a sample Repository file, it asked me for password for Administrator account. I entered SADMIN as I found from the HELP (attached below), it didn't work; then I left it blank, it didn't work, then I tried any password I used during the installation, none of them worked.
    Hopefully I can get some insight here.

    About the Oracle BI Administrator Account
    The Oracle BI Administrator account (user ID of Administrator) is a default user account in every Oracle BI repository. This is a permanent account. It cannot be deleted or modified other than to change the password and logging level. It is designed to perform all administrative tasks in a repository, such as importing physical schemas, creating business models, and creating users and groups.
    NOTE: The Oracle BI Administrator account is not the same as the Windows NT and Windows 2000 Administrator account. The administrative privileges granted to this account function only within the Oracle BI Server environment.
    When you create a new repository, the Oracle BI Administrator account is created automatically and has no password assigned to it. You should assign a password for the Oracle BI Administrator account as soon as you create the repository.
