In planning layout what is the procedure to make proper settings. and also what is the conditions in there. can anyone explain it plz. if any doc's having any one on this, plz. send it [email protected] waiting for yours valuable reply.

  • Need a help regarding planning layout

    Hi,
    I am designing a planning layout in OPO1. I have defined a column for Cost Eelemnt and next four columns with Period and Fiscal years, for these each column in the header line, i typed "&$1". Also created a Total Forecasted column for the sum of these four columns. While Saving the layout getting error as "Text variable &$1 has an invalid replacement rule." When checked the message, under procedure it says "If you want the replacement to occur as specified, you must define the missing characteristic in the layout. Otherwise enter a characteristic which has already been selected."
    It would be great, if any one can tell about defining the missing characteristics in steps.

                    Planning layouts are basically used for planning the costs, here you can define user defined layouts ana assign the same to planner profile..
    after that, you can default the planner profile KPO4 and run the t-code CJR2 to plan the costs.
    Basically it is used for cost planning

    Could you help me on below process please.
    Iam working with BI7.0. I have real time cube (daily sales) and user need to access and update/add records accordingly.
    So for this real time cube I have to create planning layout with the data. User can see that data and update/add.
    I dont how to create planning layout (i heared that rsplan) how to show the data.
    Also I need some help on ABAP, I need to map some fields from a table.
    Actually from a flat file iam uploading data into ODS. In ODS has 3 more extra infoObjects.
    Ex: Shopping mall code, tenent number and outlet number info i have to pick contract number from table with routine and pass that contact number into ODS one field. It means Contact number will not come from flat file, thats what need table and routine.
    So for that I have to create one table (SE11) with all the information. and i have write routine.
    I have to read flat file 2 fields( like A and B) and check the value in a table and get the value C and put into ODS one field. I have to do this with routines.
    In the table have A, B and C values. Table also I have to create. so also please can u tell me some steps.
    Could you please help on this. Also with process chains for this.

    If you go to RSPLAN there you can go to Portal link (it must be configured properly in system)
    In portal there will be wizard where you can easily go step by step and create planning functions and sequences like below:
           1.      You choose the appropriate InfoProvider.
           2.      You create one or more aggregation levels.
           3.      You create one or more filters.
           4.      You create one or more planning functions.
           5.      You create a planning sequence.
           6.      You test the planning model.

    after doing this you can create a query on aggregates you have created above and then make query input ready i.e planning enabled for keyfigures you want like mentioned in below link:

    then you can run query in Analyzer and save it as a work book after proper drilldown which can be used as template.

  • Does planning layouts need aggregates?

    Hi all;
    I have a debate with one of my co-worker about the need of aggregates in a cube for the sake of planning layouts. My understanding is we need aggregates to uptimize the reporting performance faster. But he is saying that for SEM trans cubes, we need aggregates for planning layouts. I thoughts when they write the data into planning layouts it writes into the cubes not into the aggregates directly and when we do the rollup then we maintained the aggregates with those new data.
    Am I wrong or he is wrong? anyone...pls...because of this reason we have huge number of aggregates into the trans cubes.

    1. In which table the document data will store when you maintain documents in the Planning Layout?
    2. Will documents get copied from one version to another version when we do version copy?
    3. If yes (document will get copied when we do version copy)what if you want to maintain separate document for each version?
    4. What is the procedure when you want to print your documents along with the report?
    Could you please any one help me out I need the answers very very urgently.

  • Help for  Planning  Layout in 4Th Currency in FI SL Currency 0SL

    Dear friend,
    One of my customers wants to create one Planning Layout for 4th in  FI SL  ( Planning in Profit Center), in table FAGLFLEXT  but I didn´t find any information how to configure that.  I have asked SAP but I did get any good answer from them.
    My customer wants to clear some wrong data from this field 0SL currency. I have already did one but SAP inserted 0 for the other currency if I not flaged conversion field. If I flaged this field SAP wants to converte the data.
    But for eraser the wrong data in 4th currency we need not converte and not filled the others currency.
    Please, could some one send one material to create this layout or t-code for eraser this data?

    Just to ask.  Are you coining your own phrase "is not ready for input" or it is the system giving you this message?  If it is the system, then the problem lies in your planning layout columns.
    I believe you are working with a special purpose ledger.  Planning with SPL can sometimes be very tricky.  You may want to do the following:
    1. Check the Z-tables to see if they contain any data if you've not already done so yet. Especially the Z table which ends with the letter "P".
    2. Save the excel sheet as a template with data in text format.
    3. Set your planner profile with t.code GLPSET
    4. Use GLPLUP to upload your data
    I do not believe the problem is with the ledger customizing but hey I may be wrong.

    Could you kindly help me to solve my case please .. ? :).
    I tried to change the template of excel planning layout using this program: UPP_MASTER_CHECKIN.
    I tried to modify the template by inserting some logo picture there.
    I put the picture in the left-top corner,
    but after i run the program, the logo picture position cover/above the planning data.
    My questions is:
    1. Could we setup in what row we're going to start the planning data ?? So it the planning data will not be covered by Logo ..
    e.g.
    Before:
    Planning data is written in row 1 and column 1.
    Could i modify the planning data to be written in row 6 and column 1.

    you must insert row between logo and data region. Furthermore you must set image properties to not change its dimension.

  • How to convert PO sapscript layout to pdf - need VERY URGENT Help

    Dear All,
    Requirement: PO sapscript layout after some modifications (say, ZMEDRUCK) has to be converted to pdf. Through me9f user will be able to give ranges of PO numbers and can view the print preview for the po. After that on clicking the print button we get the printout of the pos one after another based on the user input of PO numbers.
    Our requirement is that when the user will click on the "Print Preview" of po (rather than pressing the print button) it i.e. PO sapscript layout has to get converted to pdf.
    If you have already encountered this scenario, could you please send me the source code regarding this at the earliest. If you want to email it to my personal id, please let me know so that I can give it to you. Thank you.
    It will be very beneficial for mine if you can send me some source code in this regard. (FYI. We want only “Print output” of PO sapscript. So, Print Program /SMB40/FM06P [after copying it to our ZSMB40/FM06P program] need to be modified for downloading the PO into PDF where there is no FMs like OPEN_FORM, WRITE_FORM, CLOSE_FORM. So already available source code in SAP forums can not help me.)). Kindly help me at the earliest. It’s VERY URGENT…

  • Display multiple combination of values all at a time in the planning layout

    Hi,
    we are on BW 3.0B and SEM 3.1B. We've 2 characteristics "COUNTRY" and "CONTINENT" in planning level and package.
    in the planning layout, we had placed "CONTINENT" in the lead columns and "COUNTRY" in the header are and COUNTRY is hidden.
    Now, when we execute the layout for CONTINENT values "EUROPE and AFRICA" and COUNTRY values "GERMANY and SAFRICA".
    output of the layout is as follows for country GERMANY

    EUROPE 123
    EUROPE 234
    EUROPE 456
    as COUNTRY is in header, we need to scroll down (use down and upper arrows) to get values for next country SAFRICA combination of CONTINENT "AFRICA" in the layout as follows

    How do we get the layout to display both AFRICA and EUROPE in the same page without a need to use arrows as follows

    the only solution, i can think of is move COUNTRY from header to lead columns. But, we have a need to keep COUNTRY in the header area. I doubt if we can achieve this, but i have some hope as COUNTRY is a hidden field in the header area which we can take advantage of.

    we have a planning folder with variables for "Code" and "Area" with an input layout that has "Code and Group" in the header and "Area" in the lead columns.
    after we execute folder, if we enter values "ABCD" for variable "Code" and variable range "EUR to USA" for "Area", current layout is as follows

  • Problem adding a new field to existing BPS planning layout

    I am new to BPS and planning
    I have a requirement to add a new field which has values maintained as 0 and 1 to an existing planning cube.The user wants this new field in the existing planning layout where in he can enter the values for this field as 0 or 1.I have created a new field and maintained values for this field as 0 and 1.I have added this field to the existing planning area and have created variable with fixed value with range 0 to1.I have added the same in selections in existing planning level and package as well along with other existing selection conditions.
    In additional functions of adhoc package they have made setting as set to all possible char combination.
    In this planning area all the selections are locked in planning level and package.
    Now when i execute the planning layout to enter data,my new field is grayed out,it does not allow me to enter the values.need help  with this as to how can i make this field input enabled.This is an independent characteristic.

  • New Empty Rows in Planning Layout

    Hi All
    I am having a bit of a rough time with 2004S and planning layouts. In order to test that I am not doing something stupid (which is fairly likely) I have created a simplified model (IC, Aggr Level etc etc) with which to prototype.
    I have an InfoCube with the following structure:
    Char: Company     ZCH_KCO 
          Job         ZCH_JOB 
          Plan Item   0SEM_POSIT 
          Value Type  0VTYPE 
          Version     0VERSION 
    KeyF: Amount      0AMOUNT 
    Time: Fisc Per    0FISCPER 
          Fisc Var    0FISCVARNT 
    Unit: Curr Key    0CURRENCY
    I have defined my Aggregation Level in the Planning Modeler to include all the InfoObjects in the InfoCube. I have not defined a Filter on this Aggregation Level.
    I then created a Query to include all the characteristics in the Rows and the Key Figure in the Column.
    Last, but not leats, I popped it into a Web Template where I assigned the Query to an Analysis Web Item and I set the "Number of New Lines" attribute to 10.
    When I execute it, I get the following [rather comprehensively documented] error message appearing at the top of the report:
    "No new row or column added because not all characteristics have a key cell"
    Anyone got any ideas?

    Hi Daneel,
    I have not experienced the error you mention but have managed to get input-ready planning queries to work, so I will offer a couple of suggestions:
    1. Make sure that your key figure is marked as being input ready ("can be changed" on the Planning property tab)
    2. Values need to be uniquely defined to be input ready.  Try putting restrictions on your characteristics to refine the data.  Eg. put value type, version etc.. in the filter area and restrict them - put only the Plan item in the rows.
    3. Make sure you do not have zero suppression enabled on rows and column structures.

    what i need to do is to put data in planning layout and put cost element next to that and manually enter cost element.

  • Planning Layout Challenge

    Hi all,
    Our customer has the following requirement for a planning layout that we are struggling to configure.
    Any ideas or help from your side will be greatly appreciated.
    They use transaction KP06.
    On the Selection screen (General data selection) they want the following:
    Version:
    Fiscal Year:
    Cost Center from:    Cost Center to:     OR Cost Center Group:
    Source Cost element from:          Source Cost Element To:     OR Source Cost Element Group:
    (they want to use multiple coste elements to calculate a single cost elements value according to the formula: Source Cost Elemet 1 * 10% + Source Cost Element 2 * 10% = Target Cost element)
    Target Cost Element:
    For the planning entry screen it should look like this:
    Header - Fixed as per General Data Selection
    Version 0
    Fiscal Year 2011
    Period 1-12
    Cost Center: As per entry screen
    Leading Column: Cost Element
    2nd Column: Target Cost Element
    3nd Column: % Increase (to be enterd)
    4rd Column: % Applied (Fixed and can not be changed)
    I hope this is more or less clear on their requirement.
    One of the consultants did manage to get something close, but the problem is they want to be flexible on the Sending cost elements to be used and not fixed to 1 or more, and also the sending cost elements were placed in the columns, but again the they are fixed as per entries on the selection screen.
    I hope someone can please give me some idea how to achieve this.

    I Agree with Eli, KP06 can not be as flexible as this....
    You would need to calculate it outside SAP and upload in KP06.. You can build your Excel sheet with all the relevant formulaes
    Or else, if you have BW, you can build this model there and using RFC you can push these values into KP06... But this will take some time to develop

  • Display Hierarchy in Planning layout

    Hi,
    I am using a Cost Center Hierarchy in planning area, level & layout. After executing a planning folder, System is asking me the Fiscal Year, Plant, and  Cost Center Hierarchy. In Herarchy I have selected the  PM4. But in excel layout it display node of this this hierarfhy.
    i.e.   MILLA -> PM4 -> 220300
    I have selected PM4 but in excel planning layout header it display  220300.
    Our requirement is PM4 should be display in excel planning layout  header.
    If anyone have idea how to do this please guide me. Thanx in advance.

    1. Check into material master data itself whether it has the data (you can check either to master data & master data text). If you have no data, you need to fill it.
    Yah I have loaded master data with text. When we go into BI and check maintian master data it shows plenty of records. So the data is there in BI.
    2. Go to the corresponding material info-object, then edit it. Go to Business Explorer tab, you will see the setting for Query Def. filter Value Selection, you must set up it into Values in Master Data Table (M).
    This setting is I have already done. But still I am facing problem.
    When I click on that help button in web-layout. The new screen shows only selection fields but the below are blank.

  • Not able to view layout in Enhance planning layout UPX_MNTN

    I have created a new layout in BPS0 . In the planning level, i have included User exit variable.
    I selected the planning area in UPX_MNTN. However in Enhance planning layout, i could not see the layout, i had created in BPS0.
    Do i need to do any other settings to view in UPX_MNTN ?

              I was in the same boat. I had assigned an exit variable in one of the  layout. It was not able to execute the layout till runtime, and that is the reason it doesn't come to Planning services.
            In short, planning services will show when all your variable values are getting populated before layput execution.
            I have another issue, where I want to populate brand based on selected products from CRM. I am unable to accomplish this. Please let me know, if you get any response.
