Well, I think easiest would be to convert the data to complex, search theta for the desired angles, then find the one with the largest R.
Attached is a quick attempt (LabVIEW 7.0). It seems to work with your data, but please verify the code. There are probably bugs.

On my Mac Pro how can I get voiceover to start reading at a specific point in a document, and then continue on to the next paragraph and so on? Thank you. Ed
Welcome to the Apple family!!!!
How can I cause the VO cursor(box) show-up/start?
Press Control-Option and F5. The F5 key is located on the top row of keys 6th key over. This is a toggling "Keyboard Shortcut" for turning VoiceOver on and off.
How can I move the VO cursor to various sentences or paragraphs of an article and have it start reading ... and perhaps even continue reading on to the next paragraph(s) ... even to the end of the article?
How to read a website with VoiceOver
Step 1: Go to the Website
A quick keyboard shortcut is Command-L. This will jump you up to the address bar. Start typing where you want to go. i.e "www.thewebsite.com"
Step 2: Working with Webpage
VoiceOver will automatically start reading the website. You can pause the speech by hitting the 'Control Button'.
If VoiceOver does not being reading the webpage, then you might have to "Interact" with it. If VoiceOver say "HTML Content" then press Control-Option-Space-Down Arrow to interact with the webpage.
Use Control-Option-Right Arrow to move throught the website. This will speak "EVERYTHING" on the page.
Most website that I've found have their articles labeled as 'Heading'. You can jump from heading to heading, by pressing Control-Option-Shift-H.
If you'd like an itemized alphabetical listing of the site, press Control-Option-I
Press Control-Option-Space on the link or article you want to view.
Step 3. Reading from Top to Bottom
Once you found and clicked on the the article/link, use the same 'Heading' command, Control-Option-Shift-H to find the title.
After finding the title, press Control-Option-A will start reading from the title on.
Note: If there are any other items (ads, pictures, etc) it will read those too.
Tip: You might be able to activate a feature called the 'Reader'. The Reader isolates the article and elimanates the ads The keyboard command is Shift-Command-R. You can also find it in the Menu Bar (Command-Option-M) under the word 'View' then 'Show Reader'.
I am using a MACPro with OSX, probably Mavericks 10.9 (where would I look to see if that is the correct information?)
You can find this information under the 'Apple menu' in the Menu Bar. To access the Menu Bar, press Control-Option-M.
Go to Apple Menu > About This Mac. This will open up another window. Use Control-Option-Right Arrow until you hear 'Version'. If you purchased it brand new from Apple within the last six month, more than likely you have Mavericks.

The 'Commands Help' Voiceover Menu. Control-Option-H-H. (hit H twice) is my best friend. It's a searchable VoiceOver Menu with most of the VoiceOver command. Example: You are looking for the 'Read Current Paragraph' keyboard command. Press Control-Option-H-H and then type Paragraph. It will then bring up all the commands with the word paragraph. I believe there are three.
As from the Trackpad Commands, I've copied and pasted below from Appendix A: Commands and Gestures

How do I move video clips to specific points on a music track in iMovie?
I am trying to make a lip synch video and need to move my video clips to specific points on a musci track so that the words are in time with people singing - does anyone know how to do this? At the moment, I only seem able to put the clips in one after the other...
Hi
IMovie is Video clip oriented - meaning that Audio can not be put in first and video/photos added later.
So to do this I use black photos that I fill up the Video with first
Then Add audio
Then add Video/photos by Cutaway function or exact replacement (in time).
This is so much easier in any version of FINALCUT where one can build Audio first then create the video ontop of this.

Hi All,
I want to write a program which plots data on a surface graph then
allows the user to click on the graph and "mark" points on the plot. The
program should change the color of the "marked" points on the graph.
Based on the sample code provided by "Ben" here
(http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&view=by_date_ascending&message.id=144155#M144155)...
I wrote the attached code which uses "event structure" and cursors to do
the job. I used cursor to read the X,Y,Z position of the clicked point on
the plot and store them in arrays. These arrays then were feed into a
new plot added to the graph using CWPlots3D.Add() method. However, my
code does not draw the second plot (which would show marked points in
green) nor it does not get the marked points coordination correctly. I
appreciate your help to correct the code.
Thank you,

change read xyz.vi 27 KBHi Trin,
I have altered your VI a little bit to get the marked points in an array. You will realize that the mouse up event is requested in a parallel loop, that's because this event doesn't get triggered ifyou drag a cursor.
All you have to do now is to make a graph from the array and create new cursors. But leave Cursor 1 always as the last one and save the past values to new cursors. But maybe you don't need to set a cursor on each marked point.
Kind regards,
Kleisi

Zoom into a specific point on a clip
How do I zoom to a specific point on a clip or picture?
Whenever I try to use this feature it just goes to the centre of the clip.
Thank-you.Make sure Image + Wireframe is selected in the Canvas:
Select the clip you want to zoom in on and reposition on the timeline by clicking on it. Once it is selected on the timeline, the turquoise box and cross hairs should appear in the canvas.
If you click and drag on one of the boxes on the corner, you can resize your image:
And if you click and drag on the image itself, you can change the clips position:
You may need to change the canvas display scale to see the handles after you zoom in:

Is it possible to hyperlink to a specific point in a video?
I'm trying to create a DVD-style menu page within keynote.
Ideally what I'd like to do is have a video on 1 slide and then create a series of hyperlinks on a menu slide that would hyperlink to specific points within that video.
Anyone know if this is possible?You could use iMovie to split the video clip into each section as well. Do you need the option to play the entire video clip from start to finish? If not, you can have each video clip be its own Keynote file and have Hyperlinks to each individual Keynote and then there will not be one large file, but multiple smaller files. This of course will not work if you want to play the movie straight though.

A way to get information about colored points from a graph?
Two questions:
1. Is there a possibility to know whether a specific point is already plotted in a graph and what is the color of that specific point?
2. Is there a way to use the legend in order to show what each colored point represents (not lines, only colored points..)?
Thank you!1. I used PlotPoint & a function "returncolor" in order to make each colored point present a different situation depend on variable 'x':
double m_abs (double x) {
if (x < 0) return -x;
return x;
int returncolor (double x) {
if (m_abs(x) <= 0.05) return VAL_GREEN;
if (m_abs(x) <= 0.15 && m_abs(x) > 0.05) return VAL_BLUE;
if (m_abs(x) <= 0.25 && m_abs(x) > 0.15) return VAL_DK_MAGENTA;
return VAL_RED;
The problem occurs when PlotPoint used twice for the exact same point with different colors so only the last colored point would remain.
I want that in this case, only the color with the maximum variable 'x': would remain..
Sם I can solve it by saving the data to 2D array.. but I thought maybe there is an option to get true or false whether a point exist on a specific location in a graph or not, and what is the color of that point.
2. Yes, I have already used annotations., but too bad there is no way to put legend for colored points.. -
How can I plot two sets of data points in 3d graph?
I am trying to plot two sets of data points in 3d graph. I also need to make a set of data with one color and the other set with a different color. For example, I need to plot 10 (x,y,z) data points in 3d. Maybe 6 points need to be blue, and the other 4 red. Could you tell me how?
What is your LabVIEW version? (things are a bit different in 8.6).
Basically, you create multiple instances of the VI that gets placed automatically when you drop the 3D graph and then wire a different number to the plot ID at the bottom.
You define all the plots (color, style) via the properties dialog.
Have a look at my example posted here. One plot is "blue dots" and one is a "shaded surface". See how far you get.

Adding static images to map at specific points in time
Hello,
I am trying to create a power map animation and I am having difficulties figuring out how to go beyond simply animating the data over time. let's say I want to add a little image of the space needle in Seattle when the animation gets to the point in
time when it was built. Obviously, I will be in the process of animating my normal data when this image gets added. Also, if you know of any tutorials that might be relevant please mention them.
Thanks,
BobYou can add static images at a point in time and these are done by adding an annotation to a specific point that is plotted on your map. Once you pause the tour at a specific time you might want to add a scene to the tour and then add your annotation.
In order to add an annotation you will need to select the point and then right-click and select 'Add Annotation'. You will then be able to add a title along with either text, a field from data set, or an image. At this point you can continue
to plat the tour and/or add another scene and continue to build out your tour.
Check out this article on inserting annotations to Power Maps for additional information

Plotting point in XY Graph only
Hey guys,
I am new to labview and I'm wondering if it's possible to plot only one point in a XY Graph, and if it is, how can I do this? I see that when I select XY Graph in block diagram, it only has one place to wire, it doesn't have a place where I can put my X and Y coord's to that specific point... I'm lost here!
Thanks for any help, guys!Pedro_ wrote:

Just insert a "built array" of height=1 between the bundle and the graph terminal.
Also place a small wait inside the loop.
Also turn off autoscaling for the axes.
I would do the math explicit, not with express VIs. (I don't htink the math is correct yet).
I would also graph the four points of the wheel contacts to verify correct scaling.

I have an array which contains sample points.
I would like to be able to pick exactly one of those points in the graph (using the mouse) and move it to another position.
Thanks
ThomasHi,
It's better to make just one cursor (in case you have an array of let say
200 points), and make it snap to the nearest point. With the event structure
you can read out if the user has clicked in the graph, read out the cursor,
and when the mouse button is released, change the point to the new location.

Wiebe.

I need specific directions on how to set up 2 iPads to same iTunes account.
I need specific directions on how to set up 2 iPads to 1 iTune account. I want both iPads to receive some things alike - calendar, contacts, etc. I want same book on both but to open to correct page for each iPad reader. Games on both but levels for each iPad user.
It's a really bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.
It sounds as if you have already found the method to change your card details, but just to confirm: go to the iTunes Store. Click 'Account' under 'Quick links' at the right. Log in.
Where it says 'Payment Information' click on 'Edit' to the right of it.
You should then be able to enter the correct card details.
Is this not working? Do you get an error message? -
Just bought a 2tb external hard drive with the intention of moving my iPhoto data files to it. I have so much of my 500 gigs being used up by images and video. Questions: Will this foul up my iPhoto app?
Do I need to point iPhoto to this new location?
Thanks!Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.
Assuming a Managed Library:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Hi, I like to know about CRM ABAP. I know, it's a language and there is nothing like CRM ABAP. More specifically, I like to know the way and the rules for writing a program in ABAP for CRM. It will be very helpful if any one can provide some documen
