Netboot - its not that easy is it...

I'm testing setting up netboot, OS X Server 10.5.5
I have imaged my 10.5 DVD (hoping to get a Universal I mage for Min-Mac, macBook Pro, iMac - INTELs), setup Netboot, DHCP, AFP, NFS is running...
I go to boot my MacBook Pro in Netboot mode and I get the Apple screen & World icon, then the gray screen of death telling me to restart...
Looking at the Netboot log on OS X Server I have this:

Do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Windows sharing - NOT THAT EASY

So I've just bought a new MBP 13" and I am having a bunch of problems :S one of them is the ability to share files from my desktop PC running windows 7 and be able to view them on my MBP, so taking a look at apple's website, they say that the name will just pop up in the sidebar automatically!!! WRONG... I can't access the files unless each and every time I connect to the server and type in the IP address or the computer name!!! and I have to do so each and every time.
on the other hand I can access my files in just seconds when viewing them on my 4 years old toshiba laptop
The other thing that is not working is printer sharing? how the **** do I get it to work, I've tried every setting, in addition to enabling ldp printing on my windows 7 PC.... the result: NOT even close to WORKING
PS: the desktop computer doesn't have any type of security, I've just formatted it to check if the problem will be solved, and both the MBP and the PC are on the same workgroup.

I can assure you that printer sharing under windoze to mac works. I am not saying it's easy to setup, it does work. Evidently you are writing down a parameter with mistakes. In defense to Apple, my only complaint is the lack of auto networking with windows but I feel it isn't really Apple's problem. And more like a courtesy to somewhat being networkable to windoze. I have absolutely no problems networking with other macs. I wish I could afford to dump all my windoze machines.

Can't Turn On, Can't Charge, Won't Reset. Can see an APPLE LOGO, but its not that clear

Your phrase 'I tried the reset button' is suspicious! For a reset you hold the Home (bottom centre) and Sleep/Wake buttons (right top edge) down together for 15 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank power On again in the normal way.

Trying to tidy up, not that easy?

FIRST : in Finder on the left column i have about 20 files saying Untitled CD or DVD with a burn symbol next to them - I cna't for the life of me work out how to delete these empty folders, any idea?
SECOND : I appear to have 'lost' my TRASH icon in Finder, how to do I put it back and find Trash? (I may have been too enthusiastic with some of my tidying and cannot find where it went)

In as much as this is a visualization problem I would take it to an Apple store or AASP and have them work it out hands on.

Why cant I open an email in zoho? Occured on 2 different computer, 2 different OS & 2 different version of firefox. And its not zoho.

I was able to log into zoho's zmail and retrieve my mail but I could try opening it 20 times but I got nothing, not even an error message. I went into my settings on zoho & couldn't find anything that would cause it. So I logged in on my laptop and no problem opening. So I tried finding an answer on your troubleshooting site but the only thing I found was the reset & I tried it but same problem I didn't see anything else wrong with it but I dont always use all the abilities of firefox.
The 1st time was on my desktop with Win7, and firefox v.20. I removed it and put v.15 back in (Icouldn't find a v.17 anywhere) 2nd time was on my laptop with Vista and firefox v.15. (I installed this version after I changed the desktop's. I am a very big supporter of mozilla & Firefox. I absolutely hate IE - any version. It would kill me to go to that extent but this is enough to make seriously consider finding something else. I am half way to crazy on a good day so its not that far to go if I'm driven crazy.
I also find firefox wont close fully unless I go into Taskmanager & ending process, on both systems.

Creative are not that b

I've only had my ZS for about a week now and have had a few issues with it, nothing serious and thier tech surrport VIA email was fantastic, fast and helpful. Ofcause after reading many post here there are some of you haveing serious issues and have stated that Creative dont care and/or help. Every one says their drivers are hopeless and pretty much bag Creative.
Fair enough then.
I think what Creative need to do and mainly their programmers is simply admit that they DONT KNOW whats wrong instead of saying try this try that for the 000th time. I think that after all they have told people what to do and its clear that it does not work, points to the fact that they dont know whats wrong with their products. The sooner they admit this the better for everyone.
The guys at KX project have nailed it, they have mastered the drivers for Creative cards ( though still no EAX HD due to lack of money ) and KNOW how to get them working.
Now, Creative NEED to, no they MUST get in contact with the KX team and get them
onboard and working with the programmers at Creative. Its not that hard and I know that within month Creative drivers will rock and be error free.
Now come on Creative, WE ALL KNOW YOU READ THE BOARDS HERE. Get ya head out your ass and push your pride to the side and admit you need help and then everyone can enjoy your cards.
Its only a matter of time until Nvidia wake up and smell the roses and release a dedicated SOUND STORM CARD. Then you will go to PC hell with 3D FX.

Sensaura is now owned by Creative Labs - and that's what Soundstorm uses; Turtle Beach, long the high quality alternati've to Soundblaster isn't competiti've anymore, they've lost their old niche to Audiotrak and M-Audio so they are nothing more than a lower cost, lower quality alternati've. Creative won't license anything higher than EAX 2.0 to its competitors. Sensuara has superior DS3D rendering, especially on headphones, but Creative is incorporating parts of Sensaura's algorithms in their cards. Now, with the Audigy 4, the quality of the DACs and op-amps isn't subpar anymore; the only thing left is the low quality resampling, which Creative is hyping heavily for the Zenith. Only Soundblaster has a DVD-A license. I resent the RIAA for forcing hardware vendors to get a license, but that's the way it is.
From all that I have read I can clearly see that Creative Labs has a bad reputation for drivers, and not just on Soundblaster. I remember reading customer reviews of their modemblasters. I remember looking into DVD decoder cards and seeing that the dxr3 was the same as the Hollywood Plus, but with dysfunctional drivers (according to users). I remember when Windows XP came out, and the XP drivers for the Li've! rendered everything in software - 3DSS measured 45% CPU utilization on a Celery 833 for the audio rendering on Unreal Tourny (or something close to that).
But, I just don't see that there will be any reason for consumers to buy anything other than Soundblaster anymore with the next generation of cards - the only people who will still be obsessi've about the drivers would be people doing recording with their computers, but those people are already predisposed to buy other brands anyway, and Creative's E-mu line is for that market. And the E-mu line is supposed to be better than any of the prosumer cards except for Lynx, whose prices start at $500.

iTunes Plus is the name for the option in iTunes that allows customers to buy music at the iTunes Store that is free from digital rights management, or DRM.
Digital Rights Management, or DRM, is designed to prevent unauthorized sharing of files. This especially became a big concern for the music industry after the rise of Napster, Limewire, and Kazaa.
DRM, even the DRM used by Apple on iTunes Store content, prevented that. Apple's DRM allowed users to share files on only up to 5 computers.
According to TUAW, the new iTunes Plus songs have information embedded in them that identifies the user who bought and shared them by name.
This means that if you share your music and record companies want to track you down and sue for you copyright infringement, it's going to be easy.

Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs:

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Well, two thoughts.
The battery has completely discharged and will take overnight to recharge, so don't expect much in an hour.
The battery has deep discharged and is now dead. It will never recharge and should be replaced.

Download it to your computer and make sure you know where the file is.
Right-click the file, choose Properties and look at the General tab. Make sure the "Type of file" is "MPEG Layer 3 audio file" and that the "Size" is at least several MB.
Are we good so far?
If so, find your Automatically Add to iTunes folder (which is inside the iTunes Media folder) and drag your MP3 into it.
