    Contact iTunes customer support.
Stop letting your friends use your Apple ID.
There are no purchases made from Netflix, Netflix is a monthly subscription.

  • Lollipop draining battery on Note 3

The new update is draining the battery on my Note 3. I used to be able to go all day doing everything on my phone including watching a few shows on Netflix without charging my phone until bedtime but every since the new update I have had to charge my phone at least 3 times a day. Is this issue being looked at?

I'm having the same issue after updating to Lollipop. My Note 3 is constantly downloading and uploading data.. it never stops, which I believe is causing the battery drain. I booted up in Safe Mode to rule out if there was a third-party apps going rogue. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be the issue.  I even tried a factory reset, which didn't work as well. I'm at a loss...

I agree that the problem should be getting fixed on the other end. I read the community forums, contacted LG who gave me a standard "we're sorry" and suggested contacting Google. I did and they suggested a factory reset. Did that and last Monday, and am back to losing battery like I'm running the space station. VERY disappointed in Verizon, LG, and Google. Really tired of being jerked around. Will look at other non Android phones.  Been with Verizon since 2003 and am losing patience with the run around.

  • Not told of all charges, lack of Netflix promo code and major run around trying to sort it out...

I recently signed up for Fios almost a month ago, installed myself and just received my first bill. My apartment's "rep" told me if I installed it myself I wouldn't be charged an install fee. He failed to tell me there was an activation fee of $69.99! Just saw that on my first bill. He did mention that for my tv box equipment there would be rental fees. He didn't tell me it was $19.99 a month for 2 tv boxes that don't even have DVR capabilities (that's another $12.99 for each box!).
I was supposed to get free Netflix for a year. Was told I'd get a promo code in an email. It's been 20 days since I activated my service so I called Verizon to find out where my code is and to cancel my tv boxes (rediculous to pay $20 rental fee and they're not even capable of DVRing!). Customer service said I could return the boxes at a drop off location. Shipping them in was also an option and would be free.  Dropping them off would mean the rental fees would be taken off my bill immediately. Customer service rep said it looked like the promo code was mailed on Dec 11th so was going to ask the other dept that handles the netflix promo codes. Waited. Then was transferred to that dept. The new guy I was dealing with said it was mailed but to expect 6-8 weeks before receiving it. 6-8 weeks?! I was told it was in processing and couldn't be modified and whomever set up my account for the promo set up the code to be snail mailed. What?! I'm sorry, why is eveything else sent by email, including my confirmation for sign up, my bill notification, my tracking number for my shipped equipment, etc. But my promo code for free Netflix was snail mailed and would take 6-8 weeks?! Why?! No one could tell me. No one could adjust it so it could be emailed to me. He couldn't even give me a tracking number. So he sent me back to customer service dept. Then, of course it's the automated system at the beginning of the menu (not customer service). Had to go through the main menu again. Finally get to another customer service rep and tell him how frustrated I am that my apartment's verizon rep didn't tell me about the activation fee, didn't tell me my Netflix promo code would be snail mailed and would take 6-8 weeks, and that the previous guy I was just talking to couldn't do anything about getting the promo code by email or expediting it in any way. He apologizes and says he would talk to someone in that department and see if there was anything he could and at least get me a tracking number. I waited. He comes back and says I have to track the package on a separate website which is www.rewardshq.com (so not the standard UPS or anything even though I was told it was being sent UPS by Verizon rewards rep).
Then I ask if I have to set up returning my tv boxes (because the first guy transferred me before that was concluded). Yes. He then tells me he'll send a shipping label and box. I told him I'd just drop it off. He informs me dropping it off incurs a $10 fee. Seriously?! First customer service rep never told me that (only that it would come off my bill immediately) so either way they get their money out of you for returning the equipment, whether you have to hang on to it for a couple days or you pay to drop it off.
He then says it shouldn't take 6-8 weeks for the Netflix promo code but that's what they have to tell someone. I say thank you and hang up. I then go to the website I was given to track this letter with the elusive netflix promo code. The website requires a log in and password. I was never told or received that! I got the "tracking" number but what good is it if I have to log into this weird site to track it.
    So, in conclusion:
    RUNAROUND, RUNAROUND, RUNAROUND
SHADY TACTICS by not giving full disclosure of all fees from the first rep who I contacted through my apt, then with first customer service rep, then the weird/rude promo reward verizon rep, then the final customer service rep who gave me a useless website since I can't log in.
I am not a happy camper. I will probably not use Verizon ever again after my contract due to this and I haven't even been a customer for a month.

Thank you so much for reaching out and allowing me to help you with this issue.  This is indicative of the type of experience we don't want ANY of our customers to have...a negative one.  I'd like to address your concerns and give you the opportunity to reach us directly if you have any other questions.
First, I'd like to address the issue with box return.  We will happily send you return boxes and labels that include free shipping at no cost but for future reference, and what doesn't appear to have been made clear,  you can drop equipment off at any UPS corporate facility and they will ship equipment back to us at no cost to you.  If, however, the equipment is taken to a Verizon store, that is where the restocking fee is assessed.  I apologize that this was not made clear during the calls in to our center.
As for the issue with the Netflix promo code, those are typically sent after our worry free guarantee ends (14 days) to the email address we have on file for you.  In the event that you opted out of receiving emails or did not provide an address, we send it to your home address via snail mail within 30 days of FiOS installation.
I am more than happy to look into this for you and find you a definitive answer as to when you should expect to receive your Netflix promo but in order to do so, I will need to access your account privately.  If you would like to go ahead with that, please check your private message box for a chat link to get started.
    Thank you and happy holidays,
    ~Eva

  • HT204088 I was using Netflix trial and was not notified that trial was over and being charged  how do I cancel Netflix ?

I was using Netflix trial and was not notified that trial was over and now being charged . I am not satisfied with Netflix and had no intention to subscribe to Netflix . How do I cancel and get credit ?

''(In case you meant this, but probably not.)''
Bookmarks all Tabs now appears if you right-click a tab.
You also can use Ctrl+Shift+d to call up that dialog.
Certain items on the classic menus have become invisible when you use the mouse. I have no idea why that is; perhaps they didn't want to duplicate the right-click on tab menu item? Anyway, if you open the bookmarks menu with the keyboard, by pressing Alt+b, then you will see Bookmark All Tabs.

  • NETFLIX IS HERE FINALLY FOR DROID CHARGE!!! Updates to 1.3.0 immediately after downloading 1.2.2.

Just found it on the Android Marketplace.
Note: It first downloads version 1.2.2 which doesn't work, but then it should immediately tell you there is an update back at the marketplace. It will download 1.3.0.
Works wonderfully, finally got it on this gorgeous phone, Thanks Netflix!

    Dear Volition,
Nice! I went on the Market and searched; it brought me right to v1.3.0 build 246.
    Thanks!

  • My instant watch for netflixs is not working on my macbook pro. I just shows a black screen. I know that the problem is not Silverlight, so what other type of software or upgrades am I missing?

Go figure both Apple support and Netflixs support "have never seen a problem quite like mine" the same day my free trial has ended. And no the, problem is not with my Netflixs account because they charged my debit card just fine. I'm trying to play instant movies on my netflixs account and every time I click on a movie or show it just shows up a black screen with no play controls. According to Netflixs I'm either missing a peice of software or I need to uninstall and reinstall a program or plug-in or something. At first they thought it was Microsoft Silverlight, but I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling that several times and nothing has changed, plus since I had no play controls as well the problem is definetly not Silverlight. So I was wondering what other types of software or plug-ins are needed to play Netflixs movies or if anyones else has had the same issue and knew how to fix it. And I know that it is a problem with my Macbook Pro, because my netflixs accout still works on my sister's computers. I've tried restarting my computer, restarting Firefox, signing out and back in on Netflixs, praying to God, clearing my cookies and chache, saying nice things to my laptop, yelling at my laptop, and pretty much everything under the sun. Nothing I do is fixing it. Please someone help me figure this out.

MacBook Pro  / Mozilla Firefox / Netflix / Silverlight Update solved - DON'T DWNLOAD FROM NETFLIX
I solved this problem tonight. I have a MacBook Pro with 10.5.8. I know, it's old. But I love my Netflix and I recently noticed that Firefox plays Netflix much better.  Then I suddenly got this message that I needed to download the latest Silverlight - it only takes 30 seconds! - WRONG.   However, after much searching, I finally did the steps in order and it worked.
This was after repeatedly downloading Silverlight from the Netflix site without success.  So here's what I did:
    1. Went to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx
    2. Followed the directions. I felt like such an idiot for not doing it right before.
    3. Go to your hard drive and search for "Silverlight" to locate ANY existing Silverlight files: .dmg, etc.
[also check your Libary/ Internet Plug-ins, but the above search is faster]
    4. Drag it all to the trash and empty it.
    5. Go back to the Get  Silverlight page and click on the Install on that page, not the Netflix site.
    6. Note the steps for Safari or Mozilla Firefox - I wanted Firefox, so I follwed those instructions.
    7. Once it's installed, close all the browsers and Restart that bad boy. Right away.
    8. Open a browser, go to Netflix and proceed to joyfully rot your brain with Netflix content. Yay!

  • My bill is over $1000 for less than 2 months charges

Hello I have a 3G verizon USB modem. I pay around $100 per month and have been a loyal customer for 5 years. Recently I received a bill for $700 charges. I called verizon and they said a larger than normal amount of data charges were appearing. Apparently my child was watching Netflix through his computer. I immediately cancelled the plan as it seemed ridiculous that I was never informed that I had gone so far above my plan limits. (Friday) .Yesterday , a day later I was called asking that a payment of $1100 be made ASAP. The billing cycle doesn't even end until July but I am being asked to pay before that even ends! I already threw out the modem so that it can't be used ever again. How can verizon in good conscious charge so much for overages to someone who has been a good customer for 5 years. And further how can verizon ask for a payment - calling me before the payment  is due? Also the man said if i dont pay it will end up in collection! it will end up in collections before the payment is even due? ive never been late in payments and even had a credit on my last bill!If I was given a phone call about the overages... My bill wouldn't be so high! Why did they know my number when collecting money but not when my usage went up 4 times it's normal usage? I feel I should not have to pay these overages! I have no problem paying the higher rate for  more data used for the 2 months but not the overages! Can someone please help me?

Not that it's your business but my credit score is in the low 800s on all the credit bureaus. I just bought a house so I know exactly what my credit is mad although not excellent it's very good!i don't want Verizon to be my friend or my mom but it was a  mistake made in a months time so they could make it so I upgraded to higher plan and have me pay that rate for this months bill. I'm not trying to get out of paying, I get it. I just think $1000'for a month of net flicks is ridiculous! It's almost as much as my mortgage!

  • HT5552 How can I pay Netflix with a credit card instead of having it automatically debit my iTunes Store credit?

I renewed my Netflix subscription a couple months ago. Of course I can watch Netflix on my iPhone, my MacBook, and on my HD televison set which has an Apple TV attached to it. Each month, Netlix charges me a monthly fee. However, the monthly fee is automatically deducted through my iTunes account using the available credit I have on there. (Yes, I carry a balance of anywhere from $40 to $75 on iTunes for the **** of it.) I do NOT want my iTunes credit to be touched. I'd rather have iTunes/AppleTV/Netflix take the monthly fee from a credit card. I do have a credit card on file for my iTunes account, after all. Why should it default to my credit balance? How do I work around this?

You can't specify how items are billed, if you have a balance on your account then that will automatically be used
How purchases are billed : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5582
When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
If you want to be charged via your credit card then if you cancel your iTunes subscription then I think that you can subscribe through Netflix themselves and then link your devices to that - before you do that you may want to check Netlfix's help pages that it's possible to do and/or whether you can restart your existing subscription via them

  • My iPod has recently begun to lose charge at a rapid rate, going from 100% to 10-15% in 24 hours, where it used to be above 60% in the same time and use.

As the title says, my 4th gen iTouch has recently (last few weeks) begun losing charge at a rapid rate. I charge it fully until I go to bed, wake up it's at 85%. After about 12 hours, with moderate usage (browse the web for roughly 2 hours of the time, a few IMs), and by then it is either at or below 20%. This issue has not been present long, but it's becoming increasingly frustrating. I used to use it to play Netflix overnight, leaving a movie or tv show playing, and it would use about 10% (depending on the length). It now loses 10% in sleep mode over the same time.
I have a few thoughts as to why, but no idea if they'd be correct. One is that we've recently had a lot of network issues, we had two routers going at one point, and one of them had a strong signal but never allowed access to the internet (weirdly) and the other worked normally. We have finally gotten rid of the problem router, but it was around the same time this issue began, so I was wondering if different wifi signals could require more work for the iPod? It sounds stupid to me, but it's one idea.
The second is that I have not synced to my computer in over 3 months. I recently built a new computer, and never got around to transferring my music files to the new computer. I know I've had numerous app updates, new downloads, deleted a few apps, and at least one software update. Do those files linger on the iPod until synced with a computer?
Before suggesting, I have turned off location services, notifications, Bluetooth, and my backlight has always been at about 20% of the slider.
I appreciate any and all help anyone can offer, thank you in advance.

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting. If the problem comes back, try to set it up as new device, explained here:
How to back up your data and set up as a new device
It might be necessary not to restore from the latest backup, in case it contains corrupt data causing the drain.
Deleting the mail account and setting it up again might also help if your account uses push service.
Sometimes switching iCloud off and on again also does the trick.

  • IPhone 3gs is no longer charging

After an unfortunate accident, my iPhone has been having weird charge cycles. Every time I plug it in, it will charge like normal for a second and then give me the message "Charging is not supported on this accessory". The extremely odd part is that I'm using official apple charging units (The ones that came with the iPhone.)
After all that is said and done, I've heard a lot of rumors that the newest iOS update has been turning most chargers into junk (I unfortunately/fortunately have the newest iOS update)
I'm wondering if anyone has any odd tricks that will allow me to charge again or if anyone thinks that trying something may work. My entire life is on my phone...
    Thanks for the help

I finally bit the bullet this morning and set up my iPad as a new one after backing up. It didn't wipe out my stuff like I thought it would, but I did have to re-set all of my synch settings including apps which took a while to set up. My apps were still on the iPad with the 'sync apps' tab unchecked so I checked it and matched up all of my apps on the iPad screen using iTunes before I hit apply. Once that was done, there were a few apps that moved over to the second window, but was easily fixed. Everything's back to normal - assuming all of the videos and music you had on the iPad are in your iTunes so you don't loose anything. It kept my music, but deleted my videos. Other data was still in-tact. I never had to re-enter any passwords for Facebook or Netflix, but my email was all gone (not missing it since it's all online anyway). Hope that helps.

  • My ipad 2 will only charge if the system is completely shutdown and it can take up too 7-8 hours to reach 100% 2 hours later I'm down to 12-13% what's wrong with it?

My grandson's IPad 2 won't hold a charge. It will only charge when the system is completely shutdown and it can take up to 8 hours to reach 100%! he's only 5 so he uses it to watch netflixs and playing games but a couple of hours after finally getting a full charge the indicater is down to 12%-13%. Keeping the system plugged up while he's using it doesn't do any good its like its not even plugged up. What could be wrong? Any assistance would be appreciated! I brought the IPad 2 in 2011 and gave it to him in 2013 when I brought myself the IPad Air...so its really not that old to be acting up...

  • Ii cant download netflix in my ipad.

I cant download netflix on my ipad and i dont know why. Everytime i go to itunes and serch for it it doesen't apear and if i go to the netflix web page and press the link it takes me to the app store and the screen stays white forever and never charge. Pleas help me. Thanks

There could be a lot of reasons.
If your iPad is cellular/wifi then there are file size limits on downloads via cellular, 20-50 megs. So if you're on 3G, try it on wifi.
You could have restrictions enabled limiting the rating of the app, or the install of apps.
the app store could be 'having a moment', so simply trying back later can help with that because there's nothing you can do beyond wait and try later.
