Network Type Logical or SDO or TOPO for road network
Hi
I have to create road network application for shortest path, shortest path with multi transport system.
I have road data as line
My doubt is which type of network should I create SDO_NETWORK or LOGICAL_NETWORK or TOPO_NETWORK.
I could not get any documentation for comparison among these.

It depends upon your application need. A LOGICAL_NETWORK only contains connectivity information and A SDO_NETWORK contains connectivity and spatial information. If you need to access node or link geometry information, model it as a SDO_NETWORK. Otherwise a LOGICAL_NETWORK is sufficient for analysis purpose (i.e. cost) and it has a smaller footprint. You may access the geometry by using getGeometry() method on nodea and links for a SDO_NETWORK.

Logical System Name is defined for the Business System type WebAS ABAP.
It is used in ALE scenarios when exchanging IDOCs between the particular system and XI. The IDOC adapter will pick up the information from the SLD and it can then be used in the configuration in the Communication Channel (Adapter Specific Identifiers).

XI 3.0 and BW 3.5 system type/logical component in Solution Manager
We are in the process of performing an upgrade for ERP 2004, XI 3.0 and BW 3.5. Initially this is being done in the sandpits. All systems are configured and connected our Solution Manager to download the packages.
We are unable to determine what type of system the XI 3.0 and BW 3.5 should be configured under. For example, previously we had an issue where ERP was configured as ECC 5.0 rather than ERP 2004. This was causing an issue in MOPZ where the upgrade option wasn't visible in a maintenance transaction. The same issue is now happening for XI and BW.
Please advise on the system type (logical component to use) for XI 3.0 and BW 3.5 in Solution Manager as SAP have made it very confusing. Currently both are under type Netweaver 04.

I have a problem with a HP Proliant ML350 G5, 2 weeks ago the server did shutdown unexpectedly i looked in the ACU and saw that the controller had a battery problem. I replaced the battery but the server keeps once or twice a day shutting down. I made a report from the ACU but i don't know what this all means.

Simply bridge the TC..
With DSL you need to either bridge the modem and use PPPoE client which can be difficult to setup.. especially as some modems do not bridge readily..
Or bridge the TC which is simple.. go to the airport utility and select internet page, on v5 utility or network page on v6 utility and select off-bridged mode for the mode of connection. -

Did you add custom code into the project? Can you reproduce the issue in a new project without custom code?

I have website (MVC) with one Web reference. Build and run in VS working. But when I tried to publish to disk I get error:

I have VS2013 Profesional with all updates and Windows 8.1.

Thanks folksYou should be able to copy all the files from your old computer, although it might not work if the old machine didn't have an intel processor. When I got a new Mac a few months ago, I used the migration assistant to copy everything from my old computer's time machine backup disk. All my old pro apps, such as Final Cut Pro 6, work fine on the new machine under Lion.
Later, I wanted to install Soundtrack pro and couldn't do it from the original disks. So I installed it on my old machine and copied the files. It worked perfectly. -

Hi,
I am getting this error from visual studio 2012 whenever i try to create the following project types:
- Workflow Custom activity
- Web parts
The error is as mentioned below
"The partial project item type does not have a value for this property"

Transaction type to dispose the asset only for the depn areas 01 and 02
One of the Company codes XXXX plant XXXX has an isuue for asset # XXXXXXXXXX-0 this asset was partially retired in Nov.2008 and now its acquisition value is JPY312,428
which should not be an asset under US GAAP but qualify for asset under Tax book . So it needs be removed from US and JCC book(01 and 02 area) but keep the record on the Tax book(area 15).
Is there any transaction type to dispose this asset only for the 01 and 02 area but keep the historical data for 15 area?

Post a Credit entry to the Asset only to the area 01 and 02. Please follow the below steps before you do this.
1. Go to main SAP screen => System => User profile => Own data => Parameters
Add parameter ID FAA_FB01_AREA_SWITCH (Turn On Value Entry at Area Level for FB01) and mark "x" against it in Parameter value. Save this changes.
2. Go to F-02, Enter the Asset number (posting key 75 and transaction type 105, which ever you feel like) and then in the next screen, enter the amount. Here in this screen, you will find a tab named area values. Click that tab and change the values Area 01 & 02 to $0.01 and leave the Area 15 as it is. Enter the appropriate dr line item and save the document.
3.Go to AW01N and see tha values against each of the areas.

Logical system name in SLD for the R3 buss. system is not open for input.??

We are upgrading to PI 7.1 and have a problem in a scenarie where PI is sending IDOC to R3.
The problem is probably related to the fact that it is not possible to write a logical system name in SLD for the R3 system. I can not read the logical system name for the R3 system into the Directory (adapter specific identifier), *because the logical system for the R3 bussines system is not an input file??*. How can i enter the logcal system name so i avoid following error:

Option 1 : Go to the BS of ur R3 system in Integration Direction. Go to edit mode mode and select Properties -> Adapter Specific attributes - > enter the LS name and save...
Option2 : You can use it from the mapping.... U either hard code/use from source the EDIDC40 section of ur mapping and the in ur IDOC receiver config select the option user
Option ! is the best soln...All the IDOC to that R3 system will go the specified LS...

I would like to know if someone used the mentioned functionality 'Define Logical Systems and Template Names for BW Reports, I would like to know too IF I create a Z REPORT for example in webdynpro and insert it in this configuration it will work and where it will appear in sourcing cockpit?

BW reports will be shown in SRM Box if the corresponding BW roles for SRM are integrated with SRM roles.
You might to activate the corresponding datasource of this in SRM.
And since you have to connect the source system to BW, I think you have to define SRM system as logical system in BW.
