New display rules: ERROR_DESKTOP_NOT_FOUND

I have created a new default framework page and when I try to define new rules for this framework, I have this error message: ERROR_DESKTOP_NOT_FOUND
I am working on EP7 SP15

OK I was not working on the portal default desktop but the framework page, this was the problem.

Has anyone verified that jdk1.3.1_19 does not actually have the new Daylight saving time rule mandated by Congress starting 2007 although Sun claims that it does? I tried jdk1.3.1_18 and jdk1.3.1_19. They do not have the new DST rule. I tried jdk1.4.1_11 and it has the new DST rule. Could anyone enlighten me about jdk1.3.1_18(19) if you know about the DST issue with these two JVM's? Thanks.

We have legacy code running on legacy platforms that cannot be just retired unfortunately. It would be great if we could simply eliminate it overnight. The following is the code that I used to gauge whether the JVM has the new DST rule.

Creation of New Default Rule in OPL8

Hi,
In TC : OPL8, in cost accounting tab we maintain the default rule.
Can we create our own default rule?
The issue is we are using the CO-Product scenario in IS MILL. There the two default rules are PP5 and PP6. Both are Full settlement type.
But as we are using Cost Object Hierarchy, we cannot use the Full settlement type. So we want something similar to PP2 but having te features of PP5 or PP6.
Can we achieve this in any way by creating new default rule or how to acheive this.

You can change it in OPL8 when you create New Order Type
Even if you dont change, it will be overwritten by PER when you use Cost Obj Hierarchy

Developer: web inspector how do I add new css rules

I have been using web inspector for quite some time. It was a regular part of my development workflow, however, I was surprised when the safari team totally re-vamped the tool in safari 6.
You use to be able to click on the menu in the styling section of the tool bar and click "Add new rule". Now it appears you can no longer add css rules in this way. Which is a bummer because I used this feature all the time.
You also, use to be able to double click for a new rule when in the actual stylesheet under the Resources tab. I can no longer do this either. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the safari team would get rid of these valuable options.
Someone please help.
These options must still exist, as they are invaluable when working with css in the browser. Does anyone know how to add a new style rule. I read the documentation and I don't see anything about removing this functionality.
The only way I can find to add a new rule, is through the snippet bar, which is kind of a pain as you have to add the <style> tags every time you add a new rule.
Also, I can't figure out how to view and elements pseudo classes (i.e. :hover , :checked, etc).
I have to say, it is a little frustrating as I don't clearly see the benefits of their redesign and it just seems harder to use. It kind of feels like they reskinned and rearranged things just to make it look new and didn't really think through how developers use this tool.
Does anyone else feel this way with the new safari?
Maybe I will see the light after a couple of days. I hope so because I am partial to using safari.

Build your FGLayout prototype page so it works well in all screen sizes (mobile first, then tablet, finally desktop). To create your home page, SaveAs index.html. Then SaveAs page2.html, replace content. Repeat for other site pages.

Can't add a new Firewall Rule

I have a very curious issue: I cannot add any new firewall rules at all! Clicking on the New Button does nothing and on the console I get
System Preferences[487] * -[NSCFString objectForKey:]: selector not recognized [self = 0x3f11b0]
I have flushed the firewall with ipfw, deleted the plist file, repaired permissions but the problem ist still there. Any suggestions? (apart from reinstallation)
Adding Firewall Rules through ipfw works...

Whenever I use ipfw I lose the ability to use System Preferences. At first I thought that it compared kernel memory with the plist file and if it found a difference, assumed another firewall was running and disabled itself. But I also deleted the plist file (assuming it would build one from kmem) but that didn't work. Right now I assume there's another file somewhere. It wouldn't make any sense to keep another table in kmem. The weird part is that rules can be the same, but different sequence numbers will cause this problem. There weren't sequence numbers in the plist file, so there's probably another file somewhere.
I think your error is from the missing plist file. A reboot should clear it up.

A new display was put on my macbook pro. Display is too small to read

My 2011 Macbook Pro was just serviced for having intermittent pink lines in the display. They put a new screen clamshell on it. The new display has the text so incredibly small I can't even read it with my reading glasses on. The menu bars are small, everything is small. I'm having to hunch over the screen WITH glasses and still can't read it. I can't seem to find where to adjust it like last time. I can't read the email, etc. BTW, the vertical pink lines did NOT get resolved with a new clamshell. As soon as I got home, it did it again so if anyone has any suggestions on that, I would be appreciative as well.

Not sure about the text on screen but that sounds like they replace the standard display with a High Resolution model.
Open System Preferences and the Display section. Make sure it is toggle to Best for built in display and then change it to scaled and see wha the resolution is set to. Then toggle it back to best to Best for built in display.
As to the lines it sounds like the Logic board will need to changed.

I need version 162.0 or higher.
On Nvidia Web-Site is the new 167.0 beta, but does it work with my system?

The Toshiba graphic drivers on the Toshiba European driver page are not the same like the original graphic driver from the graphic card manufacturers.
Therefore you cannot compare the driver version numbers!
Generally the graphic driver which appears on the Toshiba page is the newest Toshiba driver.

Java and ABAP system, setting new password rules

we have a ecc 6.0 and in front for the users we have a portal based on netweaver 7.0. Our security colleagues told us, to change the password rules based on our new security book. the portal is getting the users via ume and the datasource is the abap system (ecc 6.0). All users accessing the form the portal to the backend system are communication users. my question now. there are two possiblities to change password rules settings. one in the java system and the other on the abap system. where should be implement the password rules? would the changes on the abap system also affect the java system?

Set JArray values with invalid key value: "LastUpdatedTime" on new alert rule creation

Hey all!
I'm trying to create a new alert rule using version 0.9.11 of the Monitoring Library and am getting this error on alertsClient.rules.CreateOrUpdate:
"Set JArray values with invalid key value: "LastUpdatedTime". Array position index expected."
That's interesting because LastUpdatedTime is a DateTime object, and whether I set it or I don't, if I set a breakpoint, it does set itself correctly, but the API appears to be expecting a JSON hash?
I've tested alertsClient and I'm able to get existing alerts (also metrics with metrics client), so I don't believe it's an access issue.
Any ideas?

in support form toshiba is the newest of 15/07/2007. Is there an new Display driver, my has a problem with gaming "age of conan"

I'am afraid to tell you, but the version on the Toshiba download pages is the latetest Toshiba certified version. If you want to, you could use alternative drivers from other pages, but these are, as I mentioned before not certified and you might use them at your own risk.
Anyway, have you tried to install this driver version and checked if the latest DirectX is installed on your system?

I put the new card in the vid slot pluged in the new display and started up the computer. The display will not come on? There is no power button what am I doing wrong?

Yes there is a tab that does not have a slot on the card.
Is there any work around?

Looking for a new graphics card for new display

I recently purchased a 24" LCD monitor to increase my screen real estate. I was anticipating using the DVI connection on the monitor, but found out that the connection I have on the PM G4 Dual 1GHz is an ADC connector instead. Presently I'm using it in analog mode which works fine, but in anticipation of Leopard, I was planning on upgrading my video card (GeForce 4 MX, 64MB VRAM) with one that will support CoreImage, as this one doesn't. In addition, this monitor can pivot to 90 degrees in a portrait orientation, and I would like a card that supports this feature as well.
I tried my PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz with its ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 card, and find it supports CoreImage as well as screen rotation--just what I was hoping for. It works like a charm with the new display. I just need to find out what 4x AGP desktop cards support these features. Any suggestions? I appreciate your input.

How to define new derivation rules in FM module

Can somebody help me define a new derivation rule which is user specific in FM module. I want to map muliple Fund Centers to a single Cost center and also map many commitment items to a single GL.

You derive object X (fund centre) from object (Y) cost centre. In terms of logic, it's not possible to derive multiple values from single value. That's the concept of derivation. If you have cost centre (let's say ABCD), on what parameter will your logic decide whether to take fund centre XXXX or fund centre YYYY? As you understand, the FM posting should be done eventually on one fund centre as well as commitment item, fund, etc.
After all, the computer could be told what ever you have to tell it; if you, yourself, can make this decision - which FCtr should be taken - upon certain logic, it could be programmed as well in FMDERIVE.
