New feature - jumping from panel to web client

When you update your Folio Builder panel, you'll see a new feature. If you choose Folio Producer from the Folio Builder panel menu, the Folio Producer Organizer opens in your default web browser. It signs in using the same Adobe ID you used to sign in to the panel.

This was failing when both were on the same server.
I changed the servlets code to resp.getOutputStream().print("");
This causes it to work correctly when both are on my local computer.
Once I moved the web app to a different computer I get the same failure I was getting. The servlet is geing initialized and the resp.getOutputStream().print is being called.
The applet jars are signed, but I haven't done anything to the web app.

Though I have not tried creating a database, try if its doable.
You can use OCI to perform SYSDBA operations.
So connect as OCI_SYSDBA and try executing the entire create database command.

Accessing new application using direct Hyperion Planning web client URL

I added new Hyperion Planning application. From standard workspace URL [http://demodrive:19000/workspace/index.jsp], I can now access new application.
However, when I use the direct Hyperion Planning web client URL [http://demodrive:8300/HyperionPlanning/LogOn.jsp], new application is not included as one of available applications to select. What am I missing?

I find it a little strange that you can see the planning application through workspace but not directly, I would usually expect problems the other way round.
One thing to check for if that you don't have multiple planning instances, check in the configuration utility, you could have an instance pointing to one set of apps and another instance pointing to a different set of apps.
Though saying this I would expect workspace to show the same apps as going directly.

how does one turn off this panel at launch? i cannot seem to find where to do this.

Sorry for my first response. My apologies. I thought you were asking for the "Transform Panel" which gets invoked on creating rectangle.
If you have the cloud subscription then:
For the Welcome screen you can select the "New Feature" tab and scroll to the bottom of this tab.
Then select the "Don't Show Welcome Screen Again" check box.
If you are using it as trial then this option "Don't Show Welcome Screen Again" is not displayed.

Cisco needs this following versions features to integrate the Cisco Unified crm connector for SAP.
SAP Interface and Release Level Requirements:
‐ CA-ICI-CTI 6.2 - Integrated Communications Interface u2013 CTI
6.20
‐ SAP NetWeaver Application Server 6.10, 6.20, 6.30, 2004, 7.0
‐ SAP ICI Free Seating feature is required
I would like to know little more details about SAP ICI Free Seating Feature. If I have the latest ICI version with this feature, does it mean, automatically it is available for usage or any licensing has to be done separately to enable this? I am new and dont have much idea how this licensing part works in SAP.

As far as I know, to identify the patch which has the required version of this component, you can refer to the respective Interface specification document of the ICI Version.
Alternately, you can also contact the SAP certification center to get more information pertain to this.

IOS & iPhone new features questions from Android user

Hi there. I have heard good things about the new iOS 8.3 and iPhone 6 but find certain aspects restrictive . I'm an Android user for five years running and would like to explore more on the issue / owning an iPhone by focussing on things that matter to me on my day to day use of a phone:
1. Is there a custom equaliser setting that one can set via the iPhone or iPad itself without setting it on iTunes?
2. Sharing photos
I have downloaded Dropbox, signed-in, set sharing to Photos enabled and yet it doesn't show when i want to share/forward my photos. Would this sound like a bug or incompatibility with iOS?
3. Any new battery saving option (like Android) on iOS 8.3?
4. Any further improvements in terms of support for 3rd-party sharing & saving options like for instance in Shazam and Evernote?
5. I have a Chromecast and i would like to cast/stream my files so i can listen to my TV. Is there any app to do that?
6. Is there a way to save an entire article (news or a tech article) from Safari or a third-party app to another app such as Evernote or Notepad? (for reading later)

Have you enabled Camera Upload in Dropbox's Settings?

You can tap on the Activities icon (box with an arrow pointing up and out), tap on the More item on the bottom row (scroll to right if needed) and enable Convert to PDF. Then it can be opened in iBooks, the official PDF reader amongst other things, or install the latest Acrobat DC instead. If the article is already in PDF format, you'll find a Send To… item amongst the allowed activities.
BTW, have you downloaded or read online the full iPhone manual?

How to remove the installed base view from the IC web client?????

Hello All
I am working on CRM 6.00 IC webcilent
In the interaction center view there two views called installed base and objects, i want to remove these two views as we donu2019t need them I removed the there fields using BSP WD workbench but still the view is there, is there a way to remove them without enhancements?

Select your account identification profile and go to Object Components.
Remove the entry of ICCMP_IBASE from here.

We have integrated IC Web Client within Enterprise Portal by creating iview that launches IC Web client in a new browser window
Additionally, within IC Web client we have configured the Navigation Bar using the transaction launcher launch to various Non BSP URLs (e.g. www.ups.com) in a new browser window (stateful checkbox).
The problem weu2019re experiencing is if an agent launches a new browser window by selecting a URL from the Navigation Bar and then closes this browser window manually they are getting a prompt to save their work. This behavior only occurs when we start IC Webclient from the portal. When we use IC Webclient outside of portal the problem does not occur.
How to remove that SAVE popup?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can I find out what the New Features are for Updates?

When the Application Manager says an Update is available, as far as I can see so far, it just says New Features. Is there a web page that will give more details about what features etc. each update will provide? The Application Manager is not showing file sizes AFAICT, and that's a consideration regards timing when you live in rural New Zealand.
Ahhhhh... hang on a moment. Just remembered that I had to download the Photoshop CS6 update manually after a U44M1P7 error, and I still have that page marked:

Groupwise 7 web client is replacing equals sign with hyphen

Howdy,
The Groupwise web client rewrites links, breaking examples such as
http://somewhere.com/user/confirm.php?code=3d6
where the crucial = is changed to a -. It's fine to follow this link, it's an expired code, and it should report it a such. Clicking on it from the GW web client, though, changes the equals sign, and the page should report "No code found" instead.

And like a lot of others projects come on my hands I have to keep an eye on new technologies (like web service now).
Still not tested ODI 11g, and I have to say that I'm a bit cold on migrating all my projects on the new version...
Did you encountered issue when passing form ODI 10 to 11 ?
I'm a bit curious knowing new features of this first Oracle version....
