New id integration with ipad 2 issues

I recently changed my apple id. Had issues integrating new id with iphone 5 and ipad 2. Got advice to correct and it worked on the iphone, but not on ipad. Im unable to access Appstore or itunes. Old user id still pops up. Icloud settings on ipad are set to my new id.

What id shows in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad ? If it's wrong then tap on it and log out of your account and then log back in with the updated version of your account.
If you created a new account as opposed to your existing account, then your existing downloads will remain tied to your old account, so only that old id can potentially redownload its past purchases and/or download updates to its apps.

we have SSRS 2012 report integrated with SharePoint 2013 , when we click on any toggle item after some idle time of 60 secs and try again to expand
another toggle item then complete report is getting refreshed and if we are in child report it is redirecting to parent report. . we didn’t set any refreshing property at report level. I hope there will be some idle time setting at sharepoint site
level.
what we observed.
1. there is no problem when we expand toggle items without any idle time.
2. when we open the report and expand few toggles and keep idle for 60 seconds and try
again to expand another toggle item then complete report is getting refreshed (all toggle items are collapsing).
3. If you keep idle for 60 minutes and if you didn’t do any action like expanding toggle
items it is not refreshing.
why it is happening and how to stop that complete refresh.

I have tested on my local environment and the issue can be caused by the session time out ,the time out of the report precessing, database timeout,DataSet query execution timeout and so on.
I would like to confirm that the refresh you have mentioned is the page refresh or the report reloading?
Please reference to the setting below to don't limit the timeout values if you got the report reloading:
Point to a report in the library.
Click the down arrow, and select Manage processing options.
In Processing Time-out, select Do not time out report processing or
Limit report processing in seconds if you want to override that value with no time-out or different time-out values.

Configure New TM on a New Macbook pro with retina display Issue

I have bought a new New Macbook pro with retina display laptop (Lion moutain OS)and a new TM (2TB).
I have an internet router with wireless connect.
I plugged TM to the router with an ethernet cable.
Connect my TM to my macbook with an ethernet cable.(at this point I still cannot see TM on my Mac)
then I choose Time capsule from WiFi as shown below:
Then the airport utility (version 6.1) opened and start configuring TM but it gives an expected error when it is starting to join the TM!!!!
I have reset the TM several time but with no hope.
PS: I can configure the same TM on a normal laptop with windows 7 installed and Airport utility 5.6
I am struggling on this issue for weeks and I cannot yous TM on my macbook pro.
Help please.

Time Capsule .. TC is the hardware box you bought.. Time Machine is the software you use in the Mac computer.. so what you generally refer to as TM is really TC.. !!

That is great.. you do not need to setup the Time Capsule at all then. It is already setup.. forget using 6.1 utility.. it is useless toy version.
Just use it.. open Time Machine and see if you can connect to the TC drive to do backup.. and to the wireless.

You are trying to connect with both wireless and ethernet at once.. This can mess things up. choose wireless or ethernet.. not both.
If you keep running into issues.. reset the TC.. I know yet again.
Set it up using SMB names.. for both the TC itself and wireless.
Then lock the wireless channel for 2.4ghz.. use channel 1, 6, or 11 (13 in europe) and see how it goes.

Good evening all,
I'm attempting to get Intel SCS integrated with SCCM 2012 R2 and I have both sides working, doing what they do best, however, I have issues when I try to mate the two. I started with a single server for the site and then tackled the Intel side with success,
then I added another site server to run the Out of Band service point and Enrollment point. Up until this point I've had no issues with certificate templates, or issuance of those certs.
I have re-read the TechNet documents a few times regarding the PKI setup, some Intel documentation and three step by step articles and non of them seem to differ so I can't understand why I'm unable to choose my "ConfigMgr AMT Web Server Certificate"
when configuring the Out of Band Management Component Properties page. The "AMT web server certificate template:" dialog shows my CA FQDN and CA name, but the certificate template list is always blank. I've tried this from both the remote
and local ConfigMgr consoles. The site servers have rights on the CA to manage and issue certs, is there something I'm missing that isn't in the documentation or buried somewhere that I missed? Is there a Application policy that should be on the
cert that isn't mentioned anywhere?

New to FIOS with several video issues

I switched to FIOS from Comcast four days ago and now have several intermittent video and guide issues I never experienced with Comcast. I've read many posts about the new firmware (1.7) which is rolling out this month, and was hoping to get some clarification on whether these issues are addressed with the update. Sorry if I am re-hashing issues already discussed, but I just want to be sure I'm dealing with the same problems as everyone else. The 2 STBs I have are the 7216 and the 7100. Both are connected via HDMI and both are v. 1.6.2.
Issues on both STBs
- Video and audio drops out for a second on HD channels, just a black screen. This occurs sometimes when switching to another channel, and usually does not recover unless I switch to another channel then back to it.
- When switching channels, the channel does not change, even though info bar does change and shows the desired channel (if I switch back and forth between channels it will eventually switch correctly. This issue can occur using the Channel up-down button, the "Last" button, or using the number keypad.) Also, the opposite sometimes occurs - the channel changes, but the info bar takes several seconds to catch up.
DVR (7216) only issues
- Pixelation when trying to rewind live video (video remains live but corruption occurs llike it is trying to rewind) . Going to another channel and then back usually makes normal rewinding possible.
- Signal drops when playing a recorded program (no audio and snow for a second or two). However, it is not the recording itself since it does not occur in the same place if you rewind the recording and play it again. This is almost the same kind of drop mentioned above, but there is snow instead of a blank screen.
I'm debating on going back to Comcast. I love the FIOS features, the extra HD channels, and the deal I got with Verizon, but it is all useless without stable performance.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. -Mike

Most of what you described are supposed to be fixed with 1.7. And as you saw most of it was fixed by switching to the component cables. Those items that are fixed by this are the ones that are being focused on with the 1.7
However, the problem with the info bar not changing in a timely manner. This will likely not be fixed. Those that already have 1.7 still have this issue. Also I've noticed lately that both my DTV DVR and my TIVO are both starting to do the same thing as my 6416 Verizon. (I have DTV with Tivo at another location). All three DVR's on two different companies are doing the same delay of 3-5 seconds when changing channels before the info bar changes. I watch the boards here and dont see any solutions and both DTV and TIVO said it is just a delay in the software on the DVR and that there is nothing they can do about it. It sounded like a cop out but since it is happening with 3 differnt manufactures and on two different companies, I'm not sure where to put the blame on this one.
the short skip that you see when changing channels is normal. usually this is when the resolution of the program changes especially when going from SD to HD. I've seen this on every digital system I've ever used. Dont think this is anything to be conserned about.
The problem with the box not changing channels. This is another story all together. This is one to be worried about and work on correcting. Does it only happen when using the remote? what if you use the channel up and down on the box itself? will it do the same with the other remote from the other box? Have you tried calling TS and had them reset the box yet?

SAP Sourcing 7.0 integration with SAP ERP - issue with SAP PI

We are integrating SAP Sourcing 7.0 with SAP ERP 6.0 with SAP PI 7.1 in middle. So the Sourcing will talk to PI and this intern will talk to ERP. Sourcing is on oracle 11g where as PI and ERP are on SQL 2008. All these 3 are on windows 2003 x64.
We are following the "Configuration Guide Integration of SAP ERP and SAP Sourcing 7.0" provided by SAP.
We have successfully configured Sourcing and PI systems as pe the document. In Sourcing, by using background jobs we are able to successfully generate files in "export" folder which is part of FTP directory.
However the issue is with PI, we configured the "configuration scenerio" in Integration builder and point all channels to the FTP folder in Sourcing. But PI is not picking up these files.
Is there any way to trigger this in PI system. Or do we need to do anything in sourcing itself.

Portal integration with Exchange SSO issue

We are using NW04s EP 7.0 SP16 and Exchange server 2003. We are trying to perform OWA and Groupware integration. Both the servers are in the same domain. The latest Kerbmap filter is configured in the Exchange back end server. Everything works fine when we do User Mapping.
The SSO for Outlook Web Access works fine when pointed to the exchange back end server directly.
The SSO for groupware functionality such as appointments doesn't work. The error message is "No logon data found for system Exchange". The Exchange system is configured for SAPlogontickets and so i don't understand why its looking for user mapping.
Anyone faced a similar problem? does anyone made this to work using SSO?

there will be a new business package for SEM which will be relased and will be based on Web Dynpro. They will create views for integrating BPS, BSC etc for you by default and with the Portal Look and Feel too. But you might have to wait a while for that. AS for SSO - SSO tickets are absolutely supported and fine.
Currently you can use BSP iviews to integrate SEM BSP applications into the portal.
For Integrating BW in portal, the steps you have mentined are for information boradcasting from BW. A very simple way would be to create BW reports based iviews and just supply the query string for the bw report to be integrated. For transactions and other areas you can use the internal ITS provided with 640.

ESS integration with E-Recruiting - issue w WDA Favorites & MyApplications

We are implementing E-Rec 6.0 EhP3 and ESS EhP3 on 2 different boxes.
In ESS, the services for 'Recruitment' such as Job Search, My Profile, Apply Directly etc are easily intergrated within the iviews by supplying the URLs from E-Rec's SICF (Right-click, Test service, retrieve URL)
However, for the other 2 ESS services - Favourites & My Applications - in E-Rec, these 2 components (HRRCF_C_JOB_FAVO_UI & HRRCF_C_APPLICATIONS_UI) do not have the 'Application' in SICF/SE80 that I could 'test service' and generate its unique URL.
Are there any patches, fixes, or workaround to enable Favorites & My Applications services in E-Rec to be called within ESS without any development?

If so then you must undertake you own integration of EHP3 E-recruitment applications to ESS Business Package - technically it should still be possible to call WD ABAP applications from ESS pages (or iviews) in the same way as it is possible to call
BSPs from ESS pages (or iviews) - it should also be possible to define and call any URL via service links anywhere in the ESS pages if required

EP60 and LDAP integration with Micosroft AD- Issues

We have configured EP6 SP11 and Microsoft AD for the user authentication as below.
MsAD:
AD_Compass_Domain
OU= Accounts
    OU=CORPORATE
          OU=IT
                User1 (User master record)
                 User2 (User master record)
            OU=FI
                 User3 (User master record)
OU=SAP_Portal
       OU=Corp_LDAP
             OU= Groups
                      SAP_Portal (Group Object and users are member of this group object as a link from all different OUs -user1,user2,user3)
              OU= Users
EP6 LDAP config:
Data Sources: Microsoft ADS (Flat Hierarchy) + Database
(We also tried Deep hierarchy didn't work)
LDAP Server:
User Path : OU=SAP_Portal,DC=NA,DC=CompassDev,DC=Corp
Group Path :
OU=Groups,OU=Corp_LDAP,OU=SAP_Portal,DC=NA,DC=CompassDev,DC=Corp
The issues:
1- SAP Portal could not see the group object when I browse the LDAP from portal.
2- SAP Portal is not allowing users (User1, User2, User3 etc which are member of the group object) to log in to the portal unless I put users directly under OU level like OU=Groups or if I point the path to the
OU=Accounts level which we do not want to do that because we have 50,000 users defined under OU=Accounts and we want just some of them like 3000 users. Portal gives the message
user authentication failed
Note: I checked the UME and I dont see the users listed in the group objects. Group object "SAP_Portal" is Universal Group object. (We also tried the global type)
3- When we put user directly under OU level, then users can log in but they are not able to change their password. We also can not change the user passwords through the Portal admin tools(UME or Visual Admin). I
have heard that without SSL, MsAD would not allow portal users to change their password.

Note: We use 3268 as an AD port and 389 is also active I tried both of them but no chance.

Usually before you switch UME to AD, you would read it with an LDAP web compliant browser, to check if you could access your OU, Group, and Users. Are you sure you can read the complete LDAP structure on AD?
Kindly re-check the process, to see if you missed out on any steps.

Help for mature newby with IPad app issue

Mature user new to IPad just bought ex demo IPad3. Problem, all pre installed Apps are Provisioning Profile Expired. What do I have to do to activate them?

As far as I know, the device should have been erased and all contents removed befor you bought it.
That would be done by going to Settings>General>Reset>erase all content and settings and that should (under normal circumstances) totally erase the device and you will have to start all over again. When you activate the device, (which you will have to do since you wiped it) the apps should downlaod as part of the iOS.

SAP Lumira Integration with ESRI Maps Issue

I have created free trial ArcGIS online account and specified this user in SAP Lumira 1.20 build 36 Preferences / GEO Map Service.
But when I try to visualize my Location data on Geo Map visualization I get an error message "Not a subscription user".
Did anyone encountered this message? Maybe this message is related to Trial account type?

Aperture Integration With iPad?

I have learned there is no direct sync between Aperture and the iPad. Is this correct? I would like to import my photos into Aperture and then use an iPad to browse, delte out of focus shots, tag, rate, and do some basic cropping. I then want the photos to sync back to Aperture so that I can do more extensive edits on the desktop. Is this possible?
I am thinking I might like to buy an iPad but the lack of these photography workflow options will prevent me from making a purchase. Sorry Apple... this is a deal breaker!

IPad (especially iPad 2) issue with WiFi connection 1-minute delay after sleep or new connection

This is a tip and not a question.
I had a customer who was complaining that their iPad 2 would take about 1 minute before WiFi would work after coming out of sleep. They are on 5580 controller with 802.11n APs. If they took it home, it didn't have this issue. They also tried with iPad 1 and it didn't seem to have this problem. It was happening every time on iPad 2, wait until it goes to seep, then wait about a minute, then press home button, unlock and try to launch safari, it won't connect and wifi icon in the top bar is missing, 1 minute later wifi icon reappears and safari works. I was also able to reproduce it on iPad 1 and iPad 2 when creating new wifi connection in the settings, wifi icon wouldn't appear for about a minute.
After some 5580 controller upgrades, trying different wireless settings, researching on google, and capturing with AirPcap, I finally figure it out.
Once it comes back out of sleep or once the connection is created, iPad actually associates to the APs just fine and gets an IP address. You are able to ping it during that first minute of "outage" (when wifi icon is missing), but you can't use any network apps like Safari from the iPad during that minute. It turns out that right after getting IP address, iPad sends out DNS query for www.apple.com and then tries some HTTP query on 184.24.93.15 (www.apple.com). I didn't bother investigating what it's trying to do with that HTTP query, but it looks like if that TCP session is not established, you can't use wireless for about a minute. And indeed, my customer's firewall blocks HTTP traffic that's not coming from proxies. Once they opened HTTP traffic to 184.24.93.15 on the firewall, it fixed the issue, the wifi icon now appears as soon as iPad 2 comes out of sleep and Safari works. (They use it for intranet only in case you are wondering)

I saw on another discussion thread to shut down the hot spot (in my case my HTC Thunderbolt) for 10 seconds and then restart it. It worked and my WiFi downloads seem to be as fast as before. Thanks Philly_Phan.
