New members of groups cannot access wiki

Hey all,
I've created a few group Wiki/Blog pages, but I have had other people interested in joining the site. I've added the new members in WGM and added them to the groups. When I try a test run to log them in, I am having no success. Their access gets denied. I've tried restarting the web service and the server with no luck. I've checked in WGM to see if they have actually been added and they are.
I did also notice that there was a great jump in their ID numbers. Before the Wiki was started, the highest number in the group was 1041, but the later additional people began at 1077.
Any ideas?

Advanced Install and I'm running on 10.5.4 (I hear there are some troubles with the wiki during the upgrade to the 10.5.5)
In Directory.app, groups tab, the "membership is not published". When I check the people tab, it says that they aren't members of any group. This is also true for all of my members though (even though in WGM they are in the group, and they can access the Wiki).
When I click on the Edit button, there is no response in Directoy.app (we talked about this in another thread http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1713383&tstart=0). Do I have something in the permissions set wrong so that I cannot edit anything in Directory.app? On all of the pages in Directory.app clicking the Edit button gives me no feed back.

Just to clarify, in case this helps anyone. I transferred the whole CS 6 suite using Apple's migration assistant, and the only program in the suite that could not be accessed except through the trial cloud version was Illustrator. After over an hour on the Adobe support chat, it turned out that I needed to follow the prompts to purchase the cloud version, then type in the serial number for my CS software at a certain point in the process. There you go.

HT4137 I was able to restore all my info onto a new iPhone, except I cannot access my emails. They are listed in new phone, but a note comes up saying "Cannot get mail. The connection to the server failed" Any ideas?

Locked out with file vault. Did fix by setting up new user account but cannot access old account with files but I can't get back into my old account with all my doc's and pics

I was locked out by File Vault. I set up a new account by fooling the notebook it was a new start up. Now I cannot access my old account with all of my files. I can see it in Accounts but it will not let me access. Help

I'm not sure whether a ghost can do this, but if you were still alive, you could do as follows.
First make sure you have read & write access to the folder you're trying to restore to. You should be able to see its contents in the Finder, and to move files in and out of it.
This is an exception to the rule that you should never make any changes to backup data. I've tested this procedure in OS X 10.8 only. It should work with later versions, but I don't know whether it works in earlier versions. Use it only for files that were backed up from your home folder, or a folder on another volume created by you, and would normally be writable by you. Do not touch backups of system or application files.
In the Finder (not in the time-travel view), navigate to the backup volume, then to the folder named "Backups.backupdb", and then to the snapshot you want to restore from. The snapshots are folders labeled with the date when they were created. Inside each of those folders is a file hierarchy like the one on the volume that was backed up. Descend through the hierarchy until you come to a folder named "Users," and inside that, a folder with your user name. The procedure will be different if you're trying to restore files on another volume.
Select the folder and open the Info dialog (command-I). Click the padlock icon in the lower right corner of the window and authenticate. In the Sharing & Permissions section, give your account Read & Write access. You may have to close the dialog and repeat this step in order for the change to show up. Then click the gear icon and select
Apply to Enclosed Items
from the popup menu.
Try the restore operation again, in the time-travel interface.

Cannot synch or d/l new os5 software. Cannot access apple store. I called support and they wouldn't help unless I pay for it. Called apple store and they laughed over the phone

Programs stalls in middle and freezes my PC. I cannot download any apps, music or new OS5. Tried calling support, they will not help unless I pay for the help. Then called the nearest Apple store and they laughed at me over the phone.
I did notice that quicktime did not download with itunes. Had to download quicktime separately.
What do I do to get this software to work?

I can't get a new password, so i cannot access my e-mail. Help.

I just signed-up for Mozilla Firefox. I have not been able to update my password, so I cannot access my e-mail. This is the most basic of problems. I cannot get into Mozilla.

You don't need a password from Mozilla to use Firefox to go to your email website. You should be able to get there just by entering the address in the address bar, or if you imported bookmarks from your other browser(s), you may have a bookmark to the site.

How can I restore bookmarks from a now dead computer to a new computer? I cannot access the bookmark library as directed in the restore article.

My old computer died. I got a new computer 2 weeks ago. I tried using the restore from backup function as described in the Mozilla help article. However, when I click on the bookmark icon, it only shows menus, not the library as described in the article. How do I access the backup function so I can move my old bookmarks to my new machine?

Have bought new ipad but now cannot access app store in old i pad

My original i pad was registered to my old email address which is no longer in use.    I am now with sky and when I purchased a new ipad recently and registered my sky e mail address and inserted a new password.   I can now log onto apple.com with my laptop and my new ipad.   However when I try to update my apps or download a new app on my original i pad up pops the box to insert my password with the old e mail address.   I have tried the old password and the new password (which will only work with my sky email).   I have read on this forum that it is possible to erase all content and settings.   If i do this will it erase the old e mail address.   I don't want to erase everything and then not be able to install any apps.

I did what you advised go to settings>store>apple id. Signed out and created my new apple id with the new password that was created on my new ipad
Now my apple id is my new sky email address and I can log in with these.
But still when I try to update apps it still states my apple id as my old email address
I dont mind if i lose everything as there is not that much to lose.   I just wanted to keep the old ipad for my grandchildren as they use a lot of the game apps but obviously not much good if I cannot download any new apps
Also to confuse matters and to find out if it solved anything I clicked settings apple id i forgot and typed in my email address they stated that an email would be sent but nothing arrives which makes me think they are sending to my old e mail address.
Also when I want to download an app on my new ipad it does not prompt me to put in a password.
From what you say should all of my apps on my old ipad have been automatically been transferred to my new ipad - but perhaps not if the email addresses were different on each one.
I have i haven't confused you - should i just reset - i think it would make it easier for me anyway.

Cannot access Wiki from www

I know that this is probably the tenth threat regarding this issue and you can believe I have read and tried everything without a positive result.
So I have a working OD and DNS (checked with sudo ipconfig) - everything works fine internally - wiki, websites, blogs everything!
I have a reserved domain which connects through port forwarding (airport Extreme) to my internal IP on my server - and there I guess it happens because when I check my domain on my iPhone the entered domain name changes to the IP address. So instead of mydomain.com it says http://123.123.23.12 - but the website is running (not the wiki) - the problem is now if I want to link from my website to my groups/wiki or another html file the IP in the browser field changes back to for example mydomain/test.htm which causes the 404 Error.
Does someone have an idea how to solve this problem!!

I upgraded to mountain lion and created a new password. I cannot access pages which I purchased using my old id and password. what do I do?

My hard drive crashed and I took it in to an Apple store. It was fixed and all data was erased including the program pages which I purchased. I created a new user name and password. Is there any way to recover Pages or do I have to purchase it again?

Apps can only be reinstalled for free using the same Apple ID they were originally associated with.
You need to re purchase Pages using the new Apple ID and password.

New to Firefox and Cannot access Gmail account something wrong with cookie settings

Users cannot access SharePoint items after being added to a group.

When chaning membership of a SharePoint group that has item level permissions, the users in the SharePoint group can no longer access the items. I have a group that has low contributor/low modifier permissions on an item. When adding a new
user to the group, the existing members and new members can no longer access the item.

Let's verify your issue:
When a new item was added, you set permission to the group via workflow. Then when you added a new user to the group, the permission at the item level for the group was removed. Is it right?
How did you design your workflow to set permission to the group? Which actions did you use? Please provide more information about your workflow to reproduce this issue.
In addition, after you added a new user to the group, go to the item level permission page, check whether the group has permission to the item.

How do i remove my old apple id from an old iphone...i cannot access via email nor security questions, pw does not work.

I got rid of my old iphone and opened new apple id and pw on this new ip4s. I cannot access the old apple ID via usual
access ie., security questions, password or email verification. The email never arrives and when I answer the security it states incorrect answer.
I just want to delete that old apple id account for security reasons, hackers, thieves, potential unknown risks.
Please advise.

The Apple ID exists. The email address you used to create it may not, but the Apple ID does. Call AppleCare and ask to speak to someone in account security.

Cannot access report attributes for editing

I have a report/form combination. It's been working fine (both editing and running). I have made some changes to the report region definition source, successfully applied them, and they work as expected. However, I cannot (since yesterday, though it was fine before) access the report attributes. In the page definition, if I click on the 'report' to edit the report columns, I get an Internet Explorer error that the page cannot be found. Same thing if I try to access the report attributes by editing the region (the region definition and print attributes are fine, only the report attributes are inaccessible).
I thought I'd start over, just to see if that helped. I created a new report/form combination on the same table, and on this new report I still cannot access the report columns.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
