New scenario-sales doc. bolck

Hi all.
I got a scenario.
A new sales doc. is created. In this doc. some provisions shouldbe there which will not allow to create a new sales doc. unless it is not given authorised by the concerned person.
Just like In sales doc. type, we have one option called "Billing Block". if we use it with option 6 i.e   "Sign & Approval Reqd."          it wont allow creating billing doc. unless it is authorised by the concerned person.
Is there any this sort of provision is there for blocking any sales doc.
The scenario is a sales doc. type Customer complaint is created. This doc. type should have that sort of provision which it wont allow create any sales doc. type like RE or CR  based on it unless it approved by the concerned person.
thanx in advance,
sourav

  • NEW Scenario (Sales of Raw Material)

    Hi.
We have done high seas purchase of raw material. Out of that part of the goods we have sold without being physically received in the factory.
Please suggest how to do accounting of the same in sap for purchase & sale of such raw materials.
Other part we have done MIGO-MIRO for the quantity actually received in the factory.
Note:- Material type is Raw material, So No Third Party Sale Possible since material type required  as  "HAWA"
    Regards,
    Balu.

    One Possible Process could be..
Create a Material of type HAWA or FERT. and do a stock transfer posting  ( MB1B) of movement type 309 ( Material to Material Posting  ) , then create sales order for this FERT material. and take the revenue.
The Posting needs to be done from your RAW material to this FERT material.
or the other alternative could be..
Create a new FERT material. and consume the raw materail to this fert material at no cost. and then create  a sales order.

I have also maintained copycontrol measures between Biiling doc. and sales doc. with VTAF and between Sales doc. & Sales doc. with VTAA.
Now, when iam creating this doc. type with reference to the Billing doc. , it is not doing following things:
1.no customer name, quantity, amount is getting copied

can anyone give solution for it. it is urgent

  • Sales Order new scenario

    Hi all,
    I have got a scenario:.
We are now creating return sales order, credit memo request, debit memo request with reference to billing document. Order type being RE10, CR10, DR10, RS10, PR10 etc.
    2. There is now a new requirement. We need to create first a customer complaint with reference to the billing document no. Once this document is signed by the respected HOD, then by giving the reference of this document no the actual return document, credit memo request, debit memo request etc should be created.
    3. Thus, a new order type needs to be created. which would be used as Customer Complaint Order Type
can anyone give me some clue:
    thanks

    Hi,
Let us try doing it through the STD transactions.
When ever a credit note request or a debit note request is created, the system will block the document for billing. Hence, I suppose better give the Change mode authorisation to only HOD(to remove the billing block for certain document types) vice-versa, do not give the change mode authorisation of few docements say complaints to the users. In this process you need to create few Billing Block reasons and may be few Order reasons.
I do not suggest signing it by HOD because it will again increase the paper work and leaves no proof in SAP.
If you want to match it to ur requirement, then create few order types copying it through STD documents, give the No. range, make the referrence field mandatory(This docs will be Sales Docs)
Now for other credit and debit memo requests, make referrrence field mandatory wrt your devoloped sales documents.
Hope will be helpfull............any corrections/comments to the above stated is welcome........
    Cheers,
    Anil.

  • Created new Sales Doc Type - Cost Center field on header isn't showing

    Hi,
I need to have the cost center input enabled on the header account assignment tab but it isn't showing at the moment.
On my new Sales document type the order category is "H Returns" is this blocking it or is there something else I need to do.
I don't want to auto assign the cost center just have it input enabled and showing.
    Thanks

I found that sales doc category H for returns disabled the cost center.
Mine was a free good so I was able to change to an I which worked.

  • Pricing doc. does not exist in CRM Sales Doc Creation

    Hello gurus
I am new to Sales within CRM and recently have set up the IPC.
The IPC communicates with the CRM Server without any issues.  I have download all data required in the IPC.
When I create a new sales order in CRM all is ok apart from the conditions tab, this shows Pricing doc. does not exist.  - Diagnosis
You tried to access pricing information. However, a valid pricing document is not available.
    Any ideas?

    Regards
    Barry

    Hi Barry,
Please check first whether a pricing procrdure is correctly defined under Spro->CustomerRelationship Management->Basic Functions -> Pricing ->Determine Pricing Procedures.
Here please check whether for the Sales Area(that you use in your order) an procing procedure is correctly defined. Otherewise pricing will not happen.
To explain about Customer Pricing Procedure and Document Pricing Procedure
The pricing procedure defined here in the above path is generaly a combination of 1)Document Procing  procedure and 2)Customer Pricing Procedure.
Document Pricing Procedure - This is assocaited with the transaction type. Goto the transaction type details in spro and there you will find the association.
Customer Pricing Procedure - This is associated with thh Business Partner. Select the BP(in sold to party role) and select "Sales Area" tab and in the "Billing" tab you will find this information.
Note that the pricing procedure need not have both the Document Pricing Procedure and Customer Pricing Procedure defined.Any one can also be present. It depends on the business requirement.
In your case can you please check whether the Pricing Procedure is prsent at all.
    Regards,
    Abishek

  • Sales doc type

    Hi,
If in a business having Plant Sale,Depot Sale & Export slaes then I have to create one sales doc  type-ZOR1 for all types of sales & one document catgory & one pricing procedure.,Please give me the solution.
    Thanks,
    Siku.

    Hi,
Can you be more clear with your question?
But in case if you are asking whether you can use 1 doc type and 1 pricing procedure for different kind of sales scenario then answer to that is you can still use 1 doc type for plant/depot./export sales but its not advisable esp for depot sales u should use STO (stock transport order) for which already seperate doc type has been provided by SAP.
Also when coming tp pricing procedure its advisable to have seperate pricing procedures only for domestic/export sales as well as depot sales as the CTs would be varying as in terms of freight, taxes, surcharges etc (as applicable and as per country laws) and you need to take into consideration the excise implications ( or depot sales)

  • Editing sales doc in R/3 that was created in CRM

    Hi all CRM Gurus
I am in the process of cofiguring the CRM system to enable the creation of sales documents.
All is working fine, I can create the sales doc is CRM, this them replicates through to R/3 without any errors, but I cant edit the sales doc in R/3 at all to change delivery or print order outputs
    My question is this:
Can you edit a sales doc in R/3 that has been created in CRM??
    CRM Version 4.0
    kind regards
    Barry Dixon

    Hi Barry,
You need to activate Scenario 'A' to change the documents in ECC, which replicated from CRM.
For this you need to make below entries in ECC  & CRM table.
                    In ECC CRMPAROLTP table
                              PARNAME     CRM_SCENARIO
                              PARNAME2    INT_CHANGE_ORDER
                              PARNAME3    <SalesOrderType>
                              PARVAL1     A
                    In CRM SMOFPARSFA table
                               PARSFAKEY     R3A_SALES
                               PARNAME       INT_CHANGE_ORDER
                               PARNAME2      <SalesOrderType>
                               PARVAL1       A
You need to activate Cross System Lock according to the note 888665. CSL activation is must, if you won't activate CSL order can be edited in both the systems at the same time. CSL ensures order can be opened in change mode in only one system at the same time.

  • Tricky Sales doc pricing problem

I have a problem becasue a particular item category does not have the u201Cdetermine costu201D flag checked and therefore then when pricing is invoked the VPRS pricing condition is not re-determined, and its removed.  Which 99% of the time is what they require.  However, when they create a new order with reference to an old document containing a VPRS condition, but then they change the sold-to party of the new order, pricing is then automatically invoked again, and the VPRS cost is removed, due to the "determine cost" flag not being checked.
So I need to find away of either ofrcing the pricing to keep the old cost, or a way of putting it back in.  I am looking through the user exits but I can't find a point that actally stores usuefull pricing data.
    - Neither of the USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK or USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP contain any useful table that show the VPRS amount.
So can anyone suggest how I can tackle this problem?

    Dear Ramaswamy,
As you said, things are proper in Quotation, while the error encountered at Sales Order level.
Just a thought, check with Copy Control settings (T. Code: VTAA) b/w Quotation-to-Sales Order.
For combination (say, OR -- QT), at Item (from dialog structure), select Item Category "AGN" and double-click.
    Chexk with "Copying Requirement Routine".
Also, check with "DataT - Copying requirements for data transfer VBAP".
ensure, routines are writen correctly, as per requirement.
    Best Regards,
    Amit.
Note: Also, could you please confirm, whether this error is particularly for this Order, or is getting encountered for every Order.
Are you using Standard Sales Doc. Types and routines, or Custom-ones?

  • What is the purpose of using cash sales doc type?

what is the purpose of using cash sales doc type?

You can go through the link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/70/a7853478616434e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm
    Update from help.sap.com
Cash sales is an order type for when the customer orders, picks up and pays for the goods immediately. The delivery is processed as soon as the order has been entered. A cash invoice can be printed immediately from the order and billing is related to the order. Receivables do not occur for the customer as they do for rush or standard orders, because the invoice amount is posted directly to a cash account.
    Process Flow
In the standard system, sales document type BV is saved for cash sales with immediate delivery type BV.
When the sales employee creates a cash sale, the system automatically proposes the current date as the date for delivery and billing. Once the order has been posted, a delivery with type BV is created immediately in the background and the system prints a document that is used as an invoice for the customer.
The invoice papers are controlled with output type RD03, contained in the output determination procedure for order type BV.
If the customer has already received the goods, this delivery should not be relevant for picking. If the customer is to pick the goods up from a warehouse, the delivery should be relevant for picking. If the goods are to be sent, this can be processed by maintaining the delivery in the usual way.
The system automatically creates a resource-related billing index which updates the billing due list. Billing document BV is created as the system processes the billing due list, but an invoice is not printed.
Once the customer has received the goods and is satisfied with them, the transaction is considered to be complete. We recommend that you post goods issue in the background using a program designed specifically for this purpose. You can then bill the transaction.
The cash sale can only be billed if the order quantity is the same as the goods issue quantity. If this is not the case, you need to adjust the cash sale document so that the delivered quantity and the quantity to be billed match.
You use an order-related collective billing process to bill the cash sale, but an invoice is not printed. The sales order number is used as the reference for the accounting document, created in Financial Accounting.
    Dealing with Problems and Complaints
If the transaction does not run smoothly, manual intervention is necessary. For example, if the required quantity of goods is not found in the warehouse, you need to adjust the delivery quantity. Equally, if the customer is not prepared to pay the agreed price, because, for example, the goods are scratched, you can change the price in the cash sale document.
In extreme cases, you can delete the entire transaction, starting with the delivery.
If the delivery is damaged before it is picked up but after it is paid for and there is no replacement stock, you can initiate a subsequent delivery.
If you make changes to the cash sale, you can issue a new cash sale invoice using the repeat printout function.
    Creating a Cash Sale
In the initial screen, choose Logistics ® Sales and distribution ® Sales.
    Choose Order ® Create.
Enter the order type for cash sales (BV in the standard system) and, if necessary, the organizational data.
The values for sales organization, distribution channel and the division are usually proposed from user-defined parameters. Entries for the sales office and the sales group are optional.
    Choose Enter.
    Enter the following data:
    – Customer number of the sold-to party
    – Material numbers
    – Order quantities for the materials
    Choose Enter.
If the system carries out an availability check and finds that there is insufficient stock for an order item to be delivered on the requested date, it displays a screen on which you can choose between several delivery proposals. Normally, in a cash sale, you only sell the quantity you can deliver on the spot.
    Save your document.
The system automatically processes the delivery in the background and prints out a cash sale invoice. The amount of the sale is processed later in an order-related billing transaction. The amount is posted to financial accounting, using the order number as reference. Because this is a cash sale, no invoice is produced during the billing run.

  • RRI - Selecting Specific Sales Doc

I have created RRI on Billing Documents query from Sales Document query that means it jumps from sales query to billing query. But, now I want to restrict one sales document for which it should show me only the relevant billing documents in RRI, instead of this it is showing full list of billing documents e.g if I click on sales doc no 12000118, thru RRI it should show only the relevant billing docs. Is there any user exit I have to write, if so, could any one of you share the sample codes on RRI exit for this scenario? Will appreciate your help.

It should work with the standard settings.
    Things to keep in mind:
    1) Make sure the characteristic you want to filter on is available in both queries
    2) Make sure you have filtered on the value before you make the jump (or click on the value as you activate the context menu)

  • How to realte Sales doc. No, Item and the change history

    Hi,
I am developing report to display Sales docs that are blocked for delivery at least once.
I am trying to relate Sales Doc.No VBELN with Objectid field in CDHDR table. But I can't relate at item No. level. Is there any way I can relate Sales Doc. No, Item and Change History data in CDHDR table.
    ThanQ for ur time.
    Cheers,
    Senthil

First of all to understand the various objects which are required to be recorded for change pointer documents generation.
As and Example ,take SKA1/SKB1 tables which are designed to hold the GL Master information and key field is SAKNR. When the correspoding dataelemetn is clicked, a new window is openend which has a Check box duly checked at the bottom left corner. If this check box is enabled, System keeps an eys over these objects and generates the Change Document as and when this data changes in SAP repository.
This enabled for Master data (GL,VENDOR, CUSTOMER etc.,) and Transaction data(PO,FI DOC, SD etc.,).
Now, for a system to generate the document and have an entry into repository, the corresponding MESSAGE type should be enabled for changes recording locally apart from global enabling of changes recording.
As far as Proecss is concerned, for MM,SD,FICO  etc modules the change document tables are CDHDR adn CDPOS HR module the tables are PCDHDR and PCDPOS.
First move to CDHDR and supply the Object (like KNKK for customers data whose credit limit data has been changed) , CHANge indicator (U/D etc.,)and collect the change number
and pass this change number to CDPOS and get the table, field, old value and new value.
