New system create in SAP Portel

Dear Group,
I have just Install  One system in my landscape. Now I want to configur this System in  SAP Portel.How I can Configure this system in SAP Portel.So that when I go to sap portel and Connect to sap.It show that system. Right now only PRD, DEV and QAS is displaying.When I want to send messege to SAP.

When you will request for license key for the new installed system, you will automatically get your new system into SAP Portal.

  • Error while accessing System created by  SAP Portal system template

    I have created one system from SAP Portal system template in .net PDK application. This system have number of properties created in the .cs file of the System using the following code.

    When i created a system in EP from par file, It don't get any error but when i export this   system and again import it gives me the "Null reference exception error" at the line

    Can anybody know the resion of this? Should i set permissions to the system or should i assign roles to the system?

    To create SAP R3 System follows this steps :
    in system landscape
    (1)create new system
    (2)select SAP system using dedicated application server
    (3)give system name and id
    (4)finish
    (5)open system and set following properties
         Connector
         - App. Host              : r3 server name
         - Gateway Host        :
         - SAP client             :
         - SAP System Name:
         - SAP System No.    :
         - Server Port             : 3200 (Default)
         - System Type
         -  give system Alias
         User Management
         - Logon Method

  • Error when attempting to create new Crystal Report against SAP BW

    We're getting an error when attemptiing to create a new report using the SAP toolbar in CR:
    "Failed to retrieve SSO2 logon ticket. Please contact your BW administrator".
    Any ideas? We're able to run existing reports fine. Just can't create new ones using the toolbar.

  • How to create add-on of a system form in sap b1 9.0?

    Hi all,
    I have a problem related to the creation of a system form add-on of sap b1 9.0.
    I can develop some projects in visual basic, but about sap b1 add-on, I know how to package files of to install (.ard and .exe files) and I also know how to register .ard file in sap b1 9.0, So I tried to register all projects found in SDK sample folder that was correct.
    I tried to do an example of project found in SDK Help Center.
    But the problem I have to day related to the creation of system form add-on.
    The steps I tried to do are:
    1. I opened SAP B1 Studio for Microsoft Visual Studio
    2. Right click my project and add the system form (Employee Master Data)
    3 Connection string I used in Command line arguments   0030002C0030002C00530041005000420044005F00440061007400650076002C0050004C006F006D0056004900490056
    4. I added one field (CFL of BPCode) to Employee Master Data.  I did n't add any reference because when I add UI API Vission 9.0 to system form or user form of sap b1 it gives errors in Menu.vb. I do know why.
    5. I converted in 32 bit and build my project
    6. I re_opened new visual studio 2010 for creating new project with SAP B1 AddOnInstaller.NET Wizard
    7. From here I did every thing according to the video of Bryan Gomez

    8. I registered my .ard file
    9. But when I start my add-on it gives error (Add-on connection timed out)
    The questions I want to ask,
    1. If you are creating the add-on of system form Is there any other thing needed to do more than the above  I explained?.
    2. Is it necessary to go in SDK code when you are using the system form like that?.
    3. If it is necessary to add reference of UI API  in project, how to handle error occurs when we add that the reference to the project which is using a system form?.
    Please anyone who has an idea he/she can help me.

    That's good but as I said above when I add the reference of UI API Version 9.0 in the project which has the system form or user form of sap b1 it exactly gives errors in menu.vb of the project.
    So let me give you the way you can try.
    1. Open new project/ visual basic/ sap business one/ sap business one add-on project. and save it any where
    2. Right click on your project
    3. Add new item
    4. Sap Business One
    5. System form (Employee master data) or user form
    6. Add
    And then if your form is opened
    7. Go to add the reference of UI API Version 9.0
    8. Check errors found in menu.vb (or in OutPut)
    So if it's possible try to solve that problem.
    Please anyone can help me.

  • Problem While Creating New system

    i have downloaded sap netweaver 7.01(trail version) from SCN.
    installation was successful.
    Frontend GUI was installed in System Drive(C Drive)
    and Netweaver was installed in D Drive
    i have started the application server.
    in the logon pad what are the details i need to enter while creating new systems in logon pad.
    i followed help and typed the same info as in the f1 help.
    in connection tab:
    connection type: Custom Application Server
    System connection parameters:
    Description: SAP
    Application Server : u9cmain (as in f1 help)
    System Number: 00(as in f1 help)
    System ID: u9c(as in f1 help)
    SAProuter Sring: (empty)(as in f1 help)
    after giving this details. when i logged in it shows this "hostname u9cmain unknown, check your application server name"
    how can i rectify this error. where can i check my application server name...
    help me out plz.

    You can't use the same host name and SIDs as per help under F1
    Configure as below:
    Description: SAP (You can use anything)
    Application Server : (your computer name or IP address)
    System Number: (has to be 2 digit, and which numbers you have assiged while installation)
    System ID: (your instance name)
    SAProuter Sring: (not required)

    I am tested the TDMS product with good results. I want create a new system and do one copy with time reduction time for new development system
    What it´s the best solution?
    - Install new system and do the client copy with TDMS
    or
    - System copy of production system, delete production client, create new client with UCUSV of productive system and copy client with TDMS?

    Ok, one example, I have two systems, I want create system shell from A (client 900) to B . The central system is C
    In system B I don´t have any client but the Cross is diferent to system A
    I select in TDMS - ERP Shell Creation Package for SAP Release higher 4.6C
    System Definition;
    - Control system - C (all information it´s correct)
    - Sender system - A (Client 900)
    But i dont have any information about the receive system (A).
    When execute the synchronization appears the system A, but with any information (destination ID)
    and I have the error: Could not change password of RFC Destination sender system
    Any Idea

  • Add new System to SAP connection adapter - HAL

    Hi. I would like to add a new System ID to Application Link's SAP connection adapter (HAL).
    I mean: we have been changing SAP environment (i.e System ID) and I would like to add a new System ID in the list; however, as I create a new SAP connection, only a list of old System ID is displayed.
    Even if I create and test correctly the new connection, the new System ID is still not displayed. Any advice?

    PS, to SAP developers: there are multiple companies frowning upon the decision to display the grayed-out buttons in saplgpad. I would hate to roll-out 720 with a in-house launcher for saplgpad that hides the buttons using some dirty hack.

  • Creating New System Entry in SAPGUI 7.10

    Brief Description of the problem:
    I am unable to create a new system entry in SAPGUI 7.10 Logon Pad. It works fine if you choose "Custom Application Server" as Connection Type but when you choose "Group/Server Selection" instead the Next Button is still grayed out and hence unable to create a system.
    Earlier even the Group/Server box never used to get populated but after creating sapmsg.ini, i could go one step further and now I think it looks for some value in Saprouter field in order for the Next button to get activated.
    __*What I am Looking for:__*
    Can anyone tell me how could I incorporate a saproute.ini, as I not clear on the syntax and I never have to use the sapmsg.ini and saproute.ini in SAPGUI 6.40 for users who are connected to Internal network. so this is something new in SAPGUI 7.10 and I am still clueless on why Internal users have to use saproute.ini.

    Thanks for the response.
    It will work if you add "sapmsSID 3600/tcp" to the etc\*Services* file.
    In SAPGui 6.40, i used to just have sapms00 3600/tcp and it works.
    so in SAPGUI 7.10 looks there is a slight change and need to suffix the SID details also. I still don't find any SAPGui 7.10 documentation regarding the change I did in services file.
    Surprisingly SAP support was recomending to add router entry inorder to make it work inspite teling them we don't need to access SAP systems through router since we access them internally. No good support from them and they just jump to conclusions and they keep repeating the same thing over and over again even if you try to make them understand that it's not what you need.

  • No CRM 7.0 version  available in creating new system in SMSY under CRM

    I have solution manager 7.0 with SP 14 installed and configuring the maintenance optimizer.
    Now, my problem is I want download SP for CRM 7.0 . While creating a new system in SMSY under CRM there is no
    option for CRM 7.0 as product version, the latest product available is CRM 2007.
    How can I get the right product there or is it Ok to go with the CRM 2007.

    If CRM 2007 is not the same as CRM 7.0 then defining it incorreclty might affect configuration or identification of
    correct SPs to download
    It could be the location of the new CRM product is found under a different naming convention or header
    - search other likely product trees for this
    Or
    - it could be the product is still in ramp-up and not officially released via PPMS - wait for release
    - product is just out of ramp-up but no Solution Manager definitions exist - request from SAP
    - Solution Manager definitions exist for CRM 7.0 on a higher Solman SP than the one you are operating - upgrade Solman SP or stack

    I would like to make pre-configured connection settings available to users in my company. When the New button is clicked in SAP Logon the first screen that comes up is "Create New System Entry" with a text of:
    "Select one of the available systems from the list below. If you choose the first entry, you can specify the system parameters yourself."
    However the only entry in the list is "User Specified System"
    How can I populate that list with pre-configured settings for users to choose?

    Yes the integration between Active Directory and SAP systems management exists. However, the automatic registration of systems in the active directory could have been done during the installation of SAP system itself.

  • Create a new system problem???

    I'm working with SAP 2007 and the B1i that comes with it.
    I have created a new system in the console under landscape. Then I go to it to edit the details. When I save what I have edited it does nothing and gives an error at the bottom left. It shows the yellow triangle and says error next to it.
    What is wrong?? How do I resolve this???

    What does that error says? I think I had a similar problem... and after reading some javascript in the page came up that I forgot to install MSXML 4.0. After that it worked.
