New to Graphics --- Help Appreciated

Question

Hi all
I am trying to do a basic BufferedImage and createGraphics.
The code looks like this
public static BufferedImage getImage()
int height =10;
int width = 10;
BufferedImage bi = new BufferedImage(width,height,BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
Graphics2D gi = bi.createGraphics();
g1.drawString("Hello World",5,5);
What is wrong with this code
I do have the save into JPEG file and all that stuff included in the program.
I call this from a java file and try to display on the browser but nothing is displayed.
