New version 3.4.2 crashes consistently.
Just downloaded 3.4.2 - what a mistake. Should have heeded the prior comments on the App site. It crashes consistently. I even tried Option-Open and created a new (empty) library - still crashes. I'm on Lion 10.7.5 IMac 4Meg.
I need Aperture back and running - is there any way of restoring the old version? I am running Time Machine but apps dont seem to get backed up unless I'm looking in the wrong place.
OK so I am happy now - back on he old version. To answer leonieDF I bought Aperture online and this was an upgrade that I downloaded. The application crashes consistently on launching - heres the log that apparently is sent to Apple: Whatever the issue, I'll wait for the next point release.

after downloading the new itunes and also ios 5 for my ipad 2, I cannot get itunes to open for more than 3 seconds without it crashing on me. I have uninstalled it and re-installed it with no luck. Do you have Internet Security Software turned on in your Internet Explorer?
I turned mine off, as I have Norton AV. Go into Internet Explorer and check to see if you have that on and try turning that off...and then try to get back onto FF. You may have to restart your computer, I'm not sure, as I'm not a techie. I just know that the Internet Security Software clashed with my Norton AV.

This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common Flash player issues in Firefox. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) If you have installed any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media, make sure they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily. Note: I didn't see any in your "More System Details."
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:

After having a hard drive crash, I've reloaded Windows 7 and all of my applications on a new hard drive. I have also downloaded and installed a new version of iTunes on my computer. I now want to restore all of my iTunes tracks, videos, movies, books, podcasts and all my playlists into the new version of iTunes from a back up of all of my previous hard drive before it crashed. I have tried importing the data but iTunes drops all kinds of data (artist names, album names, track number, etc.) and have to now manually go through all of my iTunes data (18,000 tracks) to restore the data. The data consists of a combination of purchased tracks (approx. 6,000) and my own personal CDs copied into iTunes. I need help badly here as I'm lost on how to proceed. Thanks.

My Mozzilla crashed: "We're Sorry....Firefox had a problem..." I download the new version and it is still giving me the crash report.
I tried to loading in "safe mode" but I still could not open Firefox.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

Everything was ok until early last week when Firefox kept on and on crashing. I downloaded the new version on Saturday and all was fine until I switched on on Sunday and nothing, zilch. Opened in internet explorer and all was OK so knew it had to be Firefox. I disabled my Firewall and all came on perfectly, as soon as firewall goes on again Firefox goes off. I have now done a system restore back thingy (I'm sure you know what I mean!!) to before the download and am now having to put up with it crashing when it feels like it. Also very slow and sticky. I am working on Windows 7 if this helps.

My Firefox crashed. I got Mozilla Crash Reporter. It refused to reopen no matter how often I tried or re-booted. It continued to try to restore Tabs. So I used MS Control Panel Add/Delete Programs. I deleted it and then used Chrome to download a new version. But it continues to try to reopen tabs. I love Firefox in spite of it's repeated crashing .... often when I am saving pictures to my hard drive. I love the add-ons and extensions. How do I get around it's effort to restore Tabs? Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

Not if you first do a sync and have iTunes make a backup. However, if your only copy of the iTunes data is in the Touch, then you need to first copy the data to a new iTunes Library using third-party software such as Phone To Mac.

I have a MAC: 2006, but intel Core Duo; version 10.4.11
I have had some difficulties with my Firefox recently: crashing occasionally, not always loading a page on the first try, saved e-mails or passwords working off and on. I trashed my current version of Firefox (I was told by my tech guys to uninstall it and download a new version, but I couldn't find an uninstall package for mozilla, so I dragged it to the Trash) and I uninstalled flip4MAC, too. I tried to download version 4, but my system could not run it, so I downloaded 3. 16. 12 - it worked really great for a while, but then started to revert to its old problems and my tech guys said I might not have done a complete uninstall- I am a bit of a techno-peasant, so I may have not done it properly. In the meantime, I upgraded my Internet service with Bell and was going to download Snow Leopard- I have Tiger- to see if that helped, but after the upgrade, Mozilla won't even open at all; the window comes up with a tab that says "restore session" and it freezes immediately and then closes with a crash report and an icon in the apps bar called "Crash Reporter." I have copied the incident report and am including it with this email. Bell tech support says it is not their issue, it's mine, which I think is probably correct, but why did it completely crash after the upgrade?
I did go on Mozilla Firefox's website for support through Safari, and tried all the suggestions, but Safari's Mozilla Firefox only displays the search bar and not the address bar, so I used the tip to got ''library/,'' etc to get the crash i.d. I was able to get the i.d., but when I typed in the url with my crash id, I got an error message: File not Found. As iTunes is uopgraded the newer versions require that the iTunes database be upgraded to match. It sounds like you now have an older version of the sftware attempting to load an upgraded library which it can't do.
What version of OS X are you running?

Last week I installed Mavericks and I cannot print with the new version of pages anymore.
Every time I click on print and/or I press ctl +p the programme crashes and it allegedly reports Apple about my problem, but nothing happens.
Could anyonw help me please?Have you tried using the PAges '09 that should still be in your Applications/iWork folder?
