This is a common solution for getting table and field name. u just go to the object u want to get info about. then press F1. Int hat help u click on technical information present at top. There u see the table name and feild in which the data for that object is stored. It gives all details for that object
So the answer given is correct

  • Posting date for payment program

    Hi,
The payment program has a posting date in the header information. I want to be able to post with posting date equal to due date and in a payment proposal there will then be more than one due date.
Does anyone have a solution to this???

    hi Marcus,
I am afraid the only solution is to create a substitution.

  • AR Reserve Invoice - Posting date

    Hi,
I have a customer who really would like to address the issue with the posting date on AR Reserve Invoices, because they think this field should be open for editing until the invoice has been paid.
Is there a good reason for why the posting date field is closed after adding the document?
And is there a possibility that this field can be opened for editing in a future version?
    Best regards,
    Lena-Marie D. Tørresvold

    Hi Lena.......
The reason might be based on Posting Date the Payment is linked because Payment will be done as per the payment terms and payment terms ultimately linked with Document Date.
And its preferable too as accounting is puerly done on the basis of date which is one of the most important factor from Financial Reports point of view.
So if you think to edit the dates of docs when it si added then it is unncessary as it wont make any sense for finance reports........
    Hope you got the logic....

  • Interest Calculation on posting date and due date

    Hi
I want vendor interest calculation on due date as well as posting date. Let me know how to get it. According to me only its possible on the basis of one date only.

    HEllo!
In the report RFINTITAR, you use the interest indicator customizing:
IMG   > Prepare Item Interest Calculation   > Ref. Date
    (table V_T056UX)   >  field Ref.
(FI Item Interest Calculation: Reference Date)
You have the possibility to define what You need to be considered as
incoming payment due date, choosing between:
1 Value Date (or Baseline Date for Net Payment)
    2 Document Date
    3 Posting Date
    4 Payment Baseline Date
As you can use one interest indicator per customer/vendor you can use only of the dates is used. But, in this
program you can use the BADI FI_INT_CUS01. Please, check if you can meet your business requirements using the methods
    of the BADI.

  • Credit Limit VS Posted Date Check

    Dear Experts
Our client have a requirement on customer credit limit and I would like to seek for some good solutions.
Here I provide one sample scenario: In SAP Business One a customer with a credit limit of $100,000 and account balance of $110,000. After a posted date check of $20,000 is deposited, customer account balance will be reduced to $90,000 and a Sales Order/ AR Invoice with amount less than $10,000 can be added for that customer without credit limit alert.
However, our client thinks that it is not make sense to reduce the customer account balance given that a posted date check is deposited as the posted date check may not be cashed if the customers do not have money in their account.
Would it be possible to separate posted date check payment amount from deducting the customer account balance? or would it be other workarounds?
    Thank you very much
    Regards
    Elton

    Dear jbrotto
    Thanks for your reply.
Could you explain in details on how to make use of the commitment limit?
As far as I know, commitment limit also considers the account balance of customer

  • Year of Cash Effectivity and Due Date for payments in following year

    Hi experts!
I have a problem with Year of Cash Effectivity when dealing with invoices which have Due Date in a different year from the posting date. I just need revenues and expenses to be recognized under the accrual basis of accounting (with the invoice, not with "cash effectivity" depending on terms of payment). But we do need "cash effectivity" for commitments budget and MM.
I am using Update Profile=000359, and have tried to "Override Update Profile" for Value Type=54 (Invoices) checking "Posting Date" for Payment/Commitment Budget, instead of "Due Date". I have also deactivated settings that have to do with payments transfer in <<Public Sector Management->Funds Management Government->Actual and Commitment Update/Integration->Integration>>.
Is there any way to change this without changing Update Profile?
    Thanks for your help!
    Iván Garcí

    Hello Ivan
I believe this note will help you:
[Note 883122 - Spanish Public Sector: Specific functions (BAdIs and exits)|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/883122]
    see this paragraph
      BAdI FMRI
The method FMRI_BADI_9 allows the customer to change, according
to their needs, the Year of Cash Effectivity in which FI
documents are updated in Funds Management.
The system performs some checks (for example the update profile
has to use the Year of Cash Effectivity) to permit the
modification of the Year of Cash Effectivity in this BADI. The
Year of Cash Effectivity determined in this BAdI cannot be
earlier than the one for the date when the Financial Accounting
payments are updated in Funds Management. For more detailed
information on this topic, consult the note 1129408.
    hope this will help you!

  • BTE for Payment Proposal

    Good Day Experts,
I have a requirement from my client. It is to have an extra data populated in payment proposal for payment review process.
I offered to identify a field (Example: Reference 2) for populating the data in Payment Proposal.
For the exact purpose, i am trying to find any BTEs, User Exits or BADIs but could not find anything which takes care of this. I know there are 36 User Exits & BADIs related to payment proposal. But non of them are solving the issue.
Please help to identify how i can populate the data in the Reference 2 field in Payment Proposal.
    Thanks,
    Balaji R

    Hi Joao,
I see that your question is answered. May I ask you which BTE have you found?
    Thanks & Regards

  • Payment Proposal run using future date

    Hi Gurus,
We have a business requirement where Payment Proposal is done with a Posting date from next period.
    For Example:
Lets Say todays date is 04/23/2010 (Period 04 FY 2010)
User runs a proposal with Run Date and Posting Date as 05/05/2010 (Period 05 2010) which is in future. SAP does not allow payment proposals between different periods as the future period would not be open at this time and gives the below error message:
"For company code XXXX period 065/ 2010 has not been opened"
    Message FZ321.
Please suggest a way to resolve this kind of situation.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ravi Basa Bala

    Hi Ravi,
Please check in OBY6 your Ccode, the Field status variant .
Please check in Pstng period variant   if 'Propose fiscal year' is flagged.
    Indicator: Propose fiscal year
This indicator controls whether the fiscal year is defaulted for display
    and change transactions.
    Use
In company codes which mainly work with year-dependent document numbers,
you should select this field. This then means that not only the last
document number processed but also the corresponding fiscal year are
    defaulted.
For predominantly non-year-dependent document number assignment, you
should leave the field blank. The system then only searches for
    documents via the document number.
    OB29
Please check if your Fiscal Year Variant is not year-dependent. Periods cannot be maintained for calendar-dependent financial year variants.
Please try in one test system to unflag 'Propose fiscal year' (if it is flagged) in OBY6 and try again.
I hope that this answer your inquiry.
    Best Regards,
    Vanessa Barth.

  • Terms of payment/cheque post date issue

    Hi guys.
On PO and MIRO terms of payment PD15 is being used. How can I make the cheque date post dated.
    Baseline date March 18
    Due date April 2
    On F-58.
I want the cheque date to be April 2 without opening the next period.
    Is it possible at all?
    Can someone help me please.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I think it is not possible to give future date as posting data unless period is open.
We can do the same by opening two posting periods simultaneously by doing authorization objects in OB52. This object will be tagged to a particular role with specific users and deactivating for all other roles.
Other alternative: We can create a post dated cheque through a manual check by changing the date in the manual check.
    Thanks,
    Padmaja

  • Future Posting date in Automatic Payment Program

    Hi Gurus,
Because the customer procedure, we need to run the payment proposal one
week before the payment execution, however this cause conflict in the
last week of month because we need to choose between:
    - Open the future posting period (we can use the Authorization Group
    field)
    - Create the payment proposal with a current posting date (For
Display/Edit), delete it and re-run the proposal when postin period has
    been opened
    The questions here are:
    - Why the posting period is validated in proposal run if this process
    doesn't create any posting?
    - Do we have more options to manage this process?
This is the error message when Payment proposal ran and the future posting period is closed:
'For Company '&' posting period '&/&' has not been opened' Error message: FZ 321
Thanks in advance and Best Regards,

    Hi,
Proposal Run, Payment Run and Payment Medium are intented to happen in sequence. In your scenario, i suppose second option ypu specified is the only options. proposal picks up open items meeting the criteria in parametres and set it payment run. i suppose items in a open proposal are locked for processing in other F110. you can refer to  Note 545340 - FAQ: Payment run F110 for options

    Hi Experts,
    Good Evening to you,
when i was posting F-48 (post vendor down payment:header data) i was getting an error of No Special G/L acct defined for acct type K sp. G/L ind B recon.acct so at that time i went to OBYR and given in Acct type-K SGL Ind-B in that given Recon account and Special GL Account both the numbers but still the erroring is coming. Later i went to FS00 and checked in Control Data that the GL Account the reconciliation account-vendor is already given but still the error is coming.
So if anybody faced the same error means let me know.
Awaiting for your golden replies & points will be assign for useful answers.

  • Change posting date on Reverse Entry for Payment

    Scenario:
I entered an outgoing payment cheque run > printed cheques > posting date 31.05.09
Now i want to cancel this cheque run, so i voided the cheques.(under banking > ougoing payments > void checks for payment). I entered today as the posting date. This was incorrect. I should have entered posting date 31.05.09.
Can i now change the posting date to 31.05.09 on the reverse journal entry?

    HI Maeve,
The intention is to transfer the balance to May 31. Then yes.
Had the 2 dates been in the same posting period (which I believe they are not) it could have been done in one posting.
In Document Settings -> Per Document -> Journal Entry -> untick 'Block Posting Date Editing per Row'.
Then by changing the posting date on the row you could have done it all in one JE. No big difference.
    Thanks,
    Jesper

  • SAP IHC PAYMENT ORDER - posting date prior to Current posting date

    Hello folks,
I have a general question about SAP-IHC module.
While creating a manual internal payment order using IHC1IP transaction code, if I change the "Date Executed" date, the system allows to post the payment order in closed period(posting date prior to the current posting date(for the Bank area in F9B1), i.e. the payment items posted, contained in the IHC payment order, has an old posting date, which is prior to the current posting date of the Bank area - Is this normal?

    Dear,
Check with settings in OLMR transaction.
Invoice Block - Set Tolerance Limits [Transaction : OMR6]
Here you need to add New entries with - Tolerance Key : LD and company code and set the limits. Please check the documentation which available read as below:
LD: Blanket purchase order time limit exceeded
The system determines the number of days by which the invoice is outside the planned time interval. If the posting date of the invoice is before the validity period, the system calculates the number of days between the posting date and the start of the validity period. If the posting date of the invoice is after the validity period, the system calculates the number of days between the posting date and the end of the validity period. The system compares the number of days with the with the absolute upper limit defined.

    Syed Hussain.

  • Payment run with future posting date

    Hi,
There might be a straight forward answer to this question, but for some reason I cannot get it to work the way I believe it should work!
Instead of processing payment runs every day we want to create the payment run only twice a week. However the value date in the payment instruction to the  bank should be the actual due date of each invoice. This could result in 2 payment lines to one supplier.
I have found that by setting the indicator "Payment per due date" in the payment method it will generate these 2 payment lines.
The problem is that we also want the clearing document to be split into 2 documents each with the posting date to be equeal to the value date - for some reason I cannot get this to work?
I have looked at substitutionrules and activating an enhancement, but looks like is not possible.
I would have thought this is a standard requirement, but ?
    Thanks for helping

    Hi,
It seems to be that you have to create 2 payment runs.
