I am using NI Vision Developement & Acquisition both 8.5
I have disks for both version 8.2.1 and 8.2.3 but neither one of these work.
Why do I need this older version, and why is it not included in 8.5?

I am new here. I have problem to upgrade my LabView. First, I have installed LabView version 8.0 and then upgrade to 8.2.1 version. This installation CD I got from my lecturer and her give to me for use in my final year project. The problem now is, I can open the LabView 8.0, but after I installed the 8.2.1, this LabView version can not open and it show it is evaluation only and the serial number is not matched. When I asked to my lecturer, she told me the serial number is still same with the 8.0 version and it available to upgrade for 3 years. I also, try to ask to the technical support when I attend the LabView seminar here, and their said try to send the serial number to the NI support to check if there have any problem. But until now, there is no reply from them, and I hope anybody from here will help me and give me the idea what I have to do...

I've been using Photoshop CC since last August. Suddenly, this morning, opening Photoshop CC requires my Adobe ID; it's telling me that this is required for trial software. Huh? I've been paying every month to get... a trial? This is news to me. Any idea how to get this to stop?

PegWelcome to the club. The whole CC licensing subsystem is crawling with bugs, and this is one of the most annoying. Which is too bad, because it's a brilliant and very user-friendly system when it works as advertised.
The CC forum is full of this. The latest official fix seems to be this one. This particular fix is Windows only (didn't help me on Win 7 though). But Macs are affected equally:

But the diagnosis given there seems to be correct. I'm signed out whenever I connect a certain external USB drive. So I don't do that, and since I stopped doing it I have remained signed in. Others have been signed out changing network connection. The common element seems to be a slight change in hardware status.
I'm sitting it out, waiting for an update or a more conclusive fix. -
I just upgraded to Lion. I was trying to set up iCloud and it asked for my "login" keychain password. I've never been asked for the keychain password before. I've tried every password I can think of and nothing works. I'm normally asked for the password to my machine when upgrading software, signing on, etc. but this is different apparently. I tried the same password and it didn't work either. I read a couple of posts and they all want to take me through Applications/Utilities but that requires knowing your password in order to change it. I don't know it. Don't remember ever setting up a keychain password. Does anyone know how to change the keychain password if you don't know the keychain password???
Most of the time your Keychain password is the same as your login password. If you configured your computer to log you in automatically, you may not have used your login password in so long you forgot it.
There is no way to retrieve the "login" Keychain password, but you can reset the Keychain from the Preferences menu: select it in the Keychain Access menu and select "Reset My Default Keychain". This will create a new, empty Keychain but the old one will be saved should you ever remember its password.
The result of this is that you will have to supply passwords for everything that requires it, since without your Keychain they will no longer automatically fill themselves. However, once you supply them and store them in your new Keychain, they will be remembered. -
Atv2 keeps asking for payment info verification
ATV2 keeps asking for payment verification, i verify on imac but atv still asks for verification. I just updated to latest software on itunes and atv
I continue to have this same issue after the latest software update to the iTv. I have gone to my iTunes account to verify payment method no less than seven times. I get an email each time telling me it's verified. I reset the unit. I changed the Appleid it was tagged with to match my exact appleid (it did and I think still does on my phone and ipad still allow updates from an alias appleid since I had basically three mac.com, me.com, and icloud.com) and all three id's show up as verified in my iTunes account. BUT....my tv does not show up in my devices list on my appleid info. I see no way to add a device, only delete it. I hope someone has an answer for this because I'm tired of having to very my account every time I use the iTv. this does not occur on the other devices.

Can't re-install CS3, won't even ask for my serial number
My computer repeatedly showed a message stating it needed to be reinstalled, so finally i tried to do so, only to not be able to install it at all.
it only installed "shared components" not my software! I doesn't even ask for my serial number. I took my software and computer to best buy, they couldn't install it,told me it was my hard drive. so i managed to free more than 100gb and it still won't install. Please SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS!

I NEED HELP FAST!!!I've encountered almost the exact same issue. Sadly, this is the state of Adobe technical support these days. I spent countless hours chattting with support staff who are mostly ineffective, and then they condemned me to the forums. I've been using Adobe products since the mid to late 80s (pretty much since they've been in business) and it's a disappointment to see that we're left to own devices to troubleshoot these problems. If you have any insight on how to remedy the installation problem since you originally posted, please let me know.

Asking for permission to use a iPhone prototype in our Prototyping Tool

We are a company in Barcelona called Justinmind (http://www.justinmind.com ). We are developing a software prototyping tool called Visual Prototyper. With this software you can prototype easily and fastly your applications before you start the development process. In our predesigned examples we would like to include an iPhone template, to help to prototype iPhone software.
For this reason we emailed 2 weeks ago to apple asking for permission to use this example in our software. We received an automatic message saying thtat we would be hearing from apple in 3 business days, but we still waiting for an answer.
Anyone know if this is possible or what we have to do to receive an answer?

I can not create an Installer on LabView, After install the Vision Builder Demo and then uninstall it. I can not create a Labview installer anymore, it asks me for a Vision Builder Installer, even if My Labview program does not have nothing to do with it...

Go to Solution.Hi Shada this can happen if you are including additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you are doing this the installer has to include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder it updated MAX, so when your installer is trying to Include MAX, its asking for the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.
Here you can cache the information so its not asked again, or you can download a newer version fo DAQmx, so it will update MAX and change de dependecy.

Rapidwiz did'n ask for many other screen intputs
I did'n check express install, I installed R12 and rapidwiz did'n ask for many screens like characterset , licence additional products, country specific functionalities, primary apps node configuration etc, any idea why? & how to adjust all those stuff later?
If you install Vision, you get AL32UTF8 characterset with all products licensed by default.

Extending the evaluation license asks for current activation code. Where is it?
I am attempting to extend the evaluation period for the Vision Acquisition Software. I have obtained an activation code from NI.com to manually enter and extend the evaluation period. When I access the activation wizard through the NI License manager and select the option to manually enter the activation code, the next step asks for the current activation code. How do I find out the current activation code so that I can advance to the step for entering the new activation code?

Hi all has there been any news for new or more services for BT Vision?. I was wondering why there are still soo many SD channels? I would have expected an announcement by now for more HD channels such as FX HD etc available on sky.
Can't speak for other channels but I have SkyHD as well as BTV and recently wrote to Sky complaining that the quality of FOXHD on Sky was worse than FOXSD on BT's IPTV service - naturally, they didn't reply. I find the PQ on BTV's IPTV channels to be excellent in general and BT Sport in HD puts Sky's equivalent channels to shame. I'd love to see more channels and there have been earlier postings on here stating that BT expect offer more than 100 extra channels in the next 12 months. Sit tight!!

Ordering Infinity - what should I ask for

All in all I'm a fan of my BT service when it works (most of the time) - I hate the Indian call centre, love the advice/service from the contributors and mods here etc (probably a familiar scenario).
Anyway, I've just checked the BT Infinity availability and my phone/postcode shows that I can order as of today - last week it showed earliest date as end of March - todays change is the same for the TalkTalk fibre service so I think it's genuine (or at least from Openreach, not just from BT). Is this likely to be a real date or just trying to fish for customers? There have been a lot of Openreach engineers around lately, but I haven't seen them at my cabinet.
I want to get infinity to upgrade my current ADSL2+ service and thought I'd ask for advice to ensure I ask the right questions when I order my upgrade. Any comments welcome :-)
My current service is Phone + Broadband + BTVision. 5 months contract remaining on all services.
Phone: Rarely used except to receive PPI claims calls etc - ie, VERY low use.
Broadband - Heavy users: Me + Nagulese + 3 boys - Xbox, internet, youtube, streaming movies etc. Down ADSL has 11.5MBps sync with 10.5MBps useable connection. Up ADSL is approx 800 kBps.
BT Vision: Use catchup TV and ocasional movie rental, but movie rentals recently increased to 1 or 2 a week.
What I want is:
Contract: Not too worried if 12 or 18 months as long as it works.
Phone: Need the line only because it's necessary for BB/TV service - we use mobiles normally for calls.
Broadband: I want best infinity available - quoted as 59Mbdown / 19Mb up. I'm somewhere between 400m and 500m from my cabinet (depending on the route for the copper). I want unlimited service, but not to worried about P2P (which I think is included now anyway)
BT Vision: I have the BTV black box. I want to get youview and move the BTV box to another room. At the moment I'm not interested in the sports packages which need viewing cards, and I'm happy to wait for these to be available on linear channels. Will I be able to use both of these boxes on the same service, both as freeview boxes and also for BT Vision/youview? I'm currently using the BTV box on powerline adaptors (200Mbps work fine), but I'll probably re-wire with ethernet around the house in the near future.
In all I'm happy to wait for the right services. If I order and I'm told I need to wait 3 months for connection then fine, but I hate being told 'only 2 weeks' then having to wait 3 months - is there any way of getting REAL (not sales speak) dates etc?
As I said, any comments either good or bad are welcome, but please don't use the thread just to vent or whinge about bad services - constructive comments only.....

as to reliability the service is very stable I have personally had it since March last year not one disconnection I was quoted 66/20 when installed received 76/20 speed never varies more than +/- 1.5mb at any time hub has restarted once and that was for the firmware update to the HH3a
As to vision and Youview on the same line I am not sure but i do not think it is possible.
Maybe some one else could advise you there

When I login to my equipment it ask for a certificate. How do I delete these certificates?
We just recently upgraded our equipment and now I don't get the whole screen parts are missing. So I figured if I delete certificates or renew them it might work. So I need to know How to delete them or renew them.
Among other things iTunes uses your credit card to confirm that you are a resident of the same country as the store you are using. Occasionally it may ask for you to confirm the details and "prove" the card by putting on a holding charge which it later releases. If you have credit in the store that should be applied to any purchases first, even if iTunes asks you to confirm your details. Your listed credit in the window can become out of date if you use more than one computer or device to make purchases. Signing out of your account, then back in, should refresh the balance.

i am using an iPad mini and I had been using my father's iCloud account to purchase apps in app store and now I changed the iCloud account to mine. But the apps still remain purchased in my father's account and not in mine. Now I have to update my apps to use them(I have been using it for over a year) when I click update button they r asking for the passcode of my father's account. So I can't update it. And I also need to update it. What can I do! How can I purchase the same game with the same progress in my iCloud account.
Yes, if you repurchase it you may lose your progress. The exception would be a game that stored all your progress on a server under your ID
If you want to retain your progress you have two choices:
1. Don't apply the update.
2. Use your fathers account password to update the game.

DVD Burner does not burn DVD's
