No Audio - "Ladrona que Roba a Ladron"

My AppleTV is generally functioning normally, except for ONE movie that get NO AUDIO - "Ladrona que Roba a Ladron."
I rented this several weeks and first experienced this problem - no audio. Apple refunded the rental fee, but gave no indication as to what the problem may be other than "try again another time." I saw today's AppleTV 2.0.1 update as a good opportunity to try again. Same problem.
I am connecting my AppleTV via HDMI to a Sony 52XBR2. I am able to play other movies fine (with audio) and get the AppleTV sound effects while playing "Ladrona..." Even the preview of this movie plays fine (with audio).
I have tried the limited audio settings available on the AppleTV (basically, Dolby on/off).
I am not sure if it is because this is a foreign language film and the set isn't picking up a second audio track???
Anybody else had problems with this movie?
Anybody else had problems with certain movies having no audio on a Sony XBR2?

In BIOS you will not find any settings regarding the audio issue so forget the BIOS at this time.
In device manager you can see the yellow exclamation marks because there is something missing (drivers) or there is a hardware conflict.
In your case I recommend firstly updating the Vista to the latest state!!! All patches should be installed.
Then remove (delete) all the devices marked with yellow exclamation mark in the device manager. Reboot the notebook and wait until Vista has recognized all devices again.
If Vista will ask for the drivers then you should visit the Toshiba driver page and should download and install the compatible sound and modem drivers!

Video reconnu comme fichier audio.

Bonjour à tous,
Je rencontre un problème qui me dépasse un peu .... tout est dans le titre mais je vais développer un peu ^^
Donc, on m'a demandé de faire un dvd regroupant plusieurs petites vidéos.
Mon problème est que quand j'importe ces vidéos dans Encore, Premiere ou After Effect, certaines sont reconnu en tant que vidéo alors que d'autres sont reconnu comme fichiers audios.
J'ai d'abords pensé à un problème de codec mais ...
     - ces vidéos sont très bien lut sous vcl & media player
     - ces vidéos ont toutes le même conteneur ainsi que le même codec
     -> je ne vois donc pas d'où cela peut t'il venir ???
Bon j'ai toujours une alternative, à savoir que si je réencode les vidéos avec mediacoder, mes fichiers sont ensuite reconnus comme vidéos mais soi je garde le même bitrate et je perds malgré tout en qualité (en gardant le même conteneur mais codec différents) soi je garde la qualité mais forcement le fichier devient plus gros...ce qui est problématique car je garde tout mes travaux. J'aimerai vraiment pouvoir résoudre le problème sans passer par une réencode sous mediacoder et surtout comprendre ce problème oO

C'est pas tout simple en anglais, je m'arrache un peu les cheveux mais bon c'est déjà un début de piste.
Dans ce post, j'ai trouvé une petite solution qui peut aider des fois.
En gros j'ai donc essayé de changer l'extension du fichier (.mp4 -> .avi). Je dirais que c'est du bricolage pas très propre mais bon pourquoi pas. Et effectivement cette solution fonctionne, les fichiers sont reconnu comme fichier video.
Malheuresement pour moi, cela engendre d'autre problème que j'essaye de résoudre.
Quand j'importe le fichier sous After Effect, j'avais une boite de dialogue concernant ffdshow avec un choix a faire (l'utiliser ou non en gros car soi disant pas installé oO j'en suis le premier surpris). Une fois le fichier posé dans la timeline, je pouvais le lire seulement. Je dis seulement car si je veux naviguer plus loin dans la time line et que enn suite je lance une lecture, la video sera lut du début (je sais pas si j'ai été très clair :s) -> tentative de réinstallation de ffdshow = maintenant, je peux importer la video mais dès que je fais le moindre clic dessus, le logiciel plante (Pr, AE, En) :/.
J'ai ensuite exploité la piste de GSpot car ils en parlent un moment dans le topic que tu m'as linké (ou alors sur un des liens du topic qui renvoi ailleurs je sais plus). Bref, j'ai vu que j'avais malgré tout quelque erreur sur certains fichier...bon ces erreurs ne m'ont jamais vraiment posé problème (il m'arrivait d'avoir des problèmes de ce genre mais j'avais de suite pensé à un problème de codec et donc opté directement pour la solution ré-encodage. Içi, la différence c'est que les vidéos sont toute avec le même codec/conteneur etc...)
Bref, la je suis un peu bloqué car les logiciel plante à la suite de la ré-installation de ffdshow...je continuerai demain....en commençant par une ré-installation de tout mes codecs, vérification GSpot et installation manuel (si possible) des fichier qui pose problème :/
Mais je comprends toujours pas qu'avant modification, certains fichier étaient reconnu en fichier audio alors que d'autre étaient reconnu en fichier video

Duplicate audio information

he creado una página de audio con iWeb que contiene diversos archivos obtenidos desde mi disco duro, como hipervínculos. Ahora quiero crear otra igual,con los mismos archivos sin que se dupliquen, o sea, que se redireccione un cuadro de texto (por ejemplo) a los archivos de audio de la primera página que ya se encuentran en la carpeta "web" de mis disco duro ya publicada. No quiero que se duplique la información, pero resulta que en el momento de publicar el "web site" en la carpeta "web", se duplica la información y aparecen los mismos archivos en las dos páginas, dentro de mi carpeta web del disco duro.
¿Cómo puedo hacer que no se dupliquen los archivos de audio y que aparezcan en una sola carpeta?

1. I use Adobe Creative Cloud and check for updates everyday before I startup Prelude. I am not sure what version I was using 4 months ago, but I am using at this time the most current version.
2. I did transcode the H.264 footage in the .MTS container as Prelude will not allow subclips unless transcoded. I used transcode Format: H.264 and checked the Preset: match source - hi-bitrate. Transcoding as well as audio syncing were all done within Premiere.
The audio was not mono, as I edit with headphones and checked my audio when syncing audio with Premiere before ingesting into Prelude. I went back and double checked my Premiere Audio-Syncing Project File and it is set to stereo.
All of my footage was ingested four months ago and since then I have just been organizing in bins and making subclips. The audio tracks seem to be fine it was just concerning to see another muted audio track on all the footage appear all of a sudden.

My concern is whether or not this will become an issue when sending to Premiere for editing.

Problema con scheda audio fast track ultra e Mavericks

Dopo aver scaricato OS X Mavericks non funziona piu' la scheda audio Fast Track Ultra anche dopo aver aggiornato i driver rilasciati dalla casa (versione 2-3-0) Cosa posso fare? Grazie!!

Te cuento yo tambien he tenido muy mala experiencia con fast track en lion y mountain lion el problema que describes lo solucione con el driver 1.9.2 pero en protools o logic no puedo usar las salidas 3 y 4 por que suena como entrecortado bien sea el daw q este utilizando o el itunes bien eso lo he sabido llevar pero lo mas fatal es que cuando trabajo en protools suele aparecer el kernel panic y debo reiniciar he investigado y por informe de error siempre suele ser la fast track pro a pesar de que compre su adaptador de corriente pensando que era por la escasa alimentacion usb que tiene ( falencia fatal que no tienen otras interfase de m audio como las fast track c 400 o 600 en avis nunca dan respuesta y en m audio pues que en paz descanse por que ya murio! desde q avid se apodero del basto negocio la unica opcion es psarse a mbox o a interfases hd!

il s'agit de fichiers audio d'un macbookpro à transférer à un macbookair via disque dur externe.
les doublons sont apparemment générés par itunes lui-même, au moment ou je demande " itunes / fichier / ajouter à la bibliothèque " et que je sélectionne le fichier

Thierry, Go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced, and uncheck the box for "Copy files..."
Then when you add new files to the library, iTunes will use the same copy of the file, without creating a duplicate.

Send MIDI Audio to Audio Track

Here's what im trying to do...
i record some drums using Battery 3, in a INSTRUMENT track using my midi keyboard...
sweet, now in the EDIT window i can see my nice little midi tracks there and yes playing my drums i've just played on my MIDI keys.
what im trying to do, is send what i hear coming from the MIDI/INSTRUMENT channel, to an AUDIO TRACK so that i can record the drums back into the MIX view, as if i were recording LIVE drums
this would be awesome.
so basically treating it like an MPC, record the drums on MPC then send to an audio track in LOGIC so i can track all instruments out.
can THIS BE DONE!

You can mix virtual instrument too into the MIX view!
If you prefer an audio file then solo the Batery track(s) and bounce it to disk selecting an audio format among SDII, WAV or AIFF and enable the checkbox Add to audio window.

Can Core Audio Be trashed and reset?

Is there a way to trash the Core audio setup files? Somehow, that is where this problem is. I have the MOTU 896Hd as my main system audio source. If I for instance play ITunes, everything plays great. But if I launch LE8 while itunes is playing, it locks up the audio and will quit. If I shut LE8 down, Itunes comes back online perfectly. So the problem is with the LE8 core audio settings. Is there some way to delete that folder and reconfigure the core audio settings?

Rob. This whole thing started when I tried to see what my projects would sound like through my soundcard in the computer. Not that I wanted to use the soundcard, I was just curious. Ever since I did that, I have a problem with my LE program. Now it wont work when I try to use my MOTU 896HD audio interface in my Core Audio setting in LE. It will not play the audio and within about 3 seconds of silence, it will give me a error message that says it cannot synchronize the audio and midi. Ive been on the LE8 forum and a guy suggested that there is a apple tech note that applies. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2111 I tried all of the things the article and still nothing.
I have downloaded and installed the latest driver from MOTU.I have tried downloading a earlier driver from them. I have even uninstalled my LE program and reinstalled it. Im really lost.
The funny thing is, this configuration has worked flawlessly for a year until the other day when all I did was to go into the core audio setup and tell it to uts the internal/line output. By the way... It works perfectly with the internal I/O setup. But now It wont let me go back and use the MOTU.

Adobe after effects. AUDIO

Bueno pues soy nuevo por aqui y pues tengo unos problemas con el after pongo un video y pues no me se escucha el audio :( quien sabe por que le he buscado la forma y nada espero que me puedan ayudar. GRACIAS DE ANTEMANO.

primero que todo el preview de after effects lo tienes que efectuar desde la casilla time controls, ubicado al lado derecho de tu interfaz, o simplemente con la tecla 0 del teclado numerico, segundo, tienes que comprobar que la casilla de audio este habilitada, esta en time controls y el icono es una bocina, y tercero es que en el timeline de tu composicion si es un video con audio intergrado que aparezca al lado izquierdo de tu timeline junto con el icono del ojo que indica la visibilidad del layer, este tambien la bocina. si estas efectuando un preview o previsualizacion de tu material con la barra espaciadora, no te funciona el audio y no te reprocuce el video en tiempo real....

How to convert MIDI to mono OR limit the spread across the speakers

I recorded a MIDI Piano piece for a song I'm working on and it is spread across both speakers, the lows in the left and the higher frequencies in the right, the middles in the middle. This is quite annoying for mixing, is there anyway I can limit this to a mono track or control how much it spreads across the speakers (ideally only where I want it to)?

The audio instrument track is MIDI not audio!

Yes, I realized that, but I still can't account for the little track meter registering something when I moved the Audio Instrument track over.
Then go save up for Logic-Pro!

Are you saying that Pro lets you collapse stereo instrument tracks into mono instrument tracks?

PS, think I've got it. Christian has the right idea. Go to 'Insert' choose Logic 'Helper,' choose 'Gain' and you will then be allowed to select 'mono.' I'm just playing around with a piano. In stereo, the bass is toward the left, the treble toward the right. Selecting 'mono' disables the stereo field of the instrument.

Error al iniciar adobe audition C.S. 5.5

Amigos de un momento a otro, al intentar iniciar abrir adobe audition cs 5.5 me aparece el siguiente error: "Runtime Error. Program: C:\... this aplication requiered runtime it in in an unusual way. please contact the aplication's support team for more informatio"

Alguna vez me aparecio algun error similar pero con Audition CS 6
pero no paso de ahi ,me aparecio el mensaje ,solo le di "Aceptar" cerre la ventana y reinicie mi
maquina y todo regreso a la normalidad
En ocasiones marca este tipo de errores porque estas usando algun otro programa de audio
o que este usando tu tarjeta de sonido y genera error en el programa
( *lo que nunca ocurrio con COOL EDIT PRO 2 )
Si en tu caso aun continua el problema ,mi consejo seria reinstalar el programa
y veas como reacciona de nuevo

Ayuda con el icono effects del adobe audition

tengo un problema con el adobe audition, y es k no se me desplegan los effectos, es decir se despliegan las opciones pero estas no estan disponibles (me aparecen como en gris, en vez de estar escritas en negrita) es como si estuvieran desactivados los effects, k debo hacer pra activarlos.

Hola Provotector creo que el detalle es que con el nuevo motor de trabajo de Adobe Audition CS5.5
Celan muchas funciones y si ya estas usando algun reproductor de audio extra ,este no te premite trabajar
con audition hasta que lo cierres,ya no tienes la opcion de liberarar el ASIO como en las versiones pasadas de
Adobe Audition 2 Y A.Audition 3
Con Audition CS 5.5 Y 6 Si tienes abierto algun reproductor de audio ,por ejemplo el Windows Media Player
te genera conflicto y te manda a usar alguna tarjeta extra o una segunda como en tu caso,que ya no te deja usar
tu Sound Blaster XF-FI
En estos casos audition cambia por default tu tarjeta de audio
para que no genere ese problema
Lo que hay que hacer es cerrar el otro programa y re-establecer tu tarjeta de audio en audition
De hecho hasta con tu tarjeta podras trabajar directo y si deseas usar las salidas digitales para la salida de audio
Asi podras designar desde la vista multitrack la salida del audio
y la mandas por tus conecciones digitales SPDIF
Trata de trabajar solo con audition y configura adecuadamente tu tarjeta
y veras que le sacaras todo el jugo para tener unas fabulosos grabaciones
Eso de los chasquidos espero y se te quiten al configurar mejor tu tarjeta con audition
si en el caso siguieran,verifica el cable con entra la señal de audio para grabar
las entradas de microfono de estas tarjetas suelen ser muy sencibles,si los manipulas o mueves mucho generan ruido
espero y tengas algun equipo ya sea alguan mixer conectada y no la muevas que quede tu coneccion directa
espero y estos datos te sirvan y tengas excelentes grabaciones

Al caos propio provocado por el terremoto, que aún tiene mi banda ancha andando a un tercio de máquina, se sumó la muerte súbita ayer de madrugada de mi router, que ya tenía sus buenos cinco o seis años de uso continuo. Y por ello es que recién me entero de este bello hilo solidario, que es una ayuda magnífica para levantar el ánimo en momentos difíciles.
En el hilo cuyo enlace publicó Xacir di detalles de la situación como se veía en la mañana del domingo 28, poco más de 24 horas después del sismo. Espero que quienes lo visitaron hayan podido entender lo que dije a pesar de estar en inglés, pero el resumen de lo más básico e importante es: ni mi familia extendida, ni mis amigos más próximos, tuvimos daños personales de ninguna clase, ni tampoco daños materiales de importancia (en mi caso, sólo unos libros caídos).

Los daños más graves se produjeron en la zona costera cercana al epicentro, a unos 500 km de Santiago, donde hubo pueblos (afortunadamente pequeños) que fueron literalmente borrados del mapa por el tsunami que no fue debidamente anunciado. Sorprendentemente, y a pesar de ello, la cantidad de gente que salvó bastante ilesa es incongruentemente grande dada la enormidad de la destrucción. En este momento, el número oficial de fallecidos no llega a 800, aunque nadie se atreve siquiera a aventurar alguna cifra para el número de personas que pueden estar desaparecidas y sobre las cuales simplemente no se tiene información.
Ha habido retrasos imperdonables en la distribución de ayuda a la miríada de pueblos pobres y pequeños terriblemente afectados, muchos de los cuales siguen sin abastecimiento de alimentos, combustible, electricidad y agua potable. Ello ha provocado saqueos en un intento por conseguir agua y comida, pero a los cuales se ha sumado desgraciadamente el lumpen que roba hasta refrigeradores. También en esto hubo otro retraso imperdonable en poner a las fuerzas armadas al control de la situación en la zona de catástrofe, ya que todo ha mejorado desde que se hicieron cargo.
He leído muchos intentos de comparar la tragedia chilena con la reciente de Haití. Es verdad que tuvimos la fortuna de un número de víctimas enormemente menor, como también lo es que probablemente nos recuperaremos más rápidamente. En mi opinión, cualquier otra comparación es odiosa, injusta, e inútil.

Aplicación para emisora online Android

he hecho una aplicación para una emisora virtual, y cuando la pruebo en el computador funciona correctamente, se conecta bien a la IP y puerto de la emisora, el problema surge cuando publico la aplicación para android en un archivo apk y la instalo en el telefono movil ya no se conecta y por ende no se reproduce el sonido.
