No credit, Deposit questions?

Hello I have a few questions if anybody can shed some light or experience....
I'm 20 years old and was planning on selecting Verizon as my first (and hopefully last) cellphone provider. The problem is that I have no credit and was looking to order through the Verizon's official Website or Amazon's Website. Since I have no credit I read that there would need to be a security deposit taken for the two year service. Is there any set deposit for people with no credit or does it vary person by person? And does anybody know when I would be informed about the Deposit (and the price) if I was to order online? The price only bothers me because I read that it could be up to $1000 dollars and that's a little steep for me to have them holding for up to a year.
I understand it might be a bit easier to goto a local store and try the process there but I was hoping to receive the discount phone prices and plan option ease that the online website offers.
So if anybody can answer or shed some experience that they might have gone through with similar issues that would be great!

A security deposit may be required of customers before a new activation. While security deposit amounts vary, they are included in the amount of the total sale an exact price for a deposit cannot be quoted until a credit check is ran when you are ready to begin new service with Verizon Wireless..

  • Security Deposit questions.

    Hello everyone!
Well, I am 20 years old and looking into opening my own Verizon contract and I have zero credit history. I am a student at a local college, never had to take out a student loan, and have had no debts to pay. Reason in asking this, is I've done alot of reading recently and have seen where people have had to pay ~$400 security deposits. I currently don't have the money to pay for this alongside the price of a subsidized phone. Is it possible for a parent/guardian to cosign? Is it a guarantee that I will be forced to pay a security deposit? If anyone can shed some light on my questions it would be VERY much appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!
    Zander

Went to the local Verizon store today and for some awesomely odd reason, I'm cleared for 1 line! No security deposit required!

  • Credit memo question

    Hi,
i created a purchase order (ME21N) with 10 quantity and 100 for price for a total amount of 1000 u20AC.
After i create the corresponding invoice but with 10 quantity and 2000 u20AC for total amount, of course the status is Blocked for price reason.
So i call my vendor, and he send me a credit memo for 1000 u20AC. Now when i catch on the credit memo the system want me to enter a quantity but it's just a problem of amount, why should I enter a quantity ?
    Thanks for your help.
    Cheers

    Hi
In this case you should post a subsequent credit rather than posting a Credit memo.
Credit memo would reverse the qty and value, where as subsequent credit will reverse or reduce  only the value.

  • Credit Release Question

    Dear SAP Experts,
Currently, our automatic credit control is configured as follow:
    Credit Control --- Reaction ---Block
    1) Sales Order --- C (Warning) --- Y
    2) Delivery ---C ---Y
    3) PGI --- C --- Y
By default, if credit check fails at SO creation, user can still proceed to save but unable to create the DO. Once released through VKM3, user can proceed all the way to PGI.
However, if user releases the document and creates the DO, but tries to do PGI only the day after it is released, the user needs to release the document again. Does anybody knows where to configure this so that once released, the user doesn't need to release it again if PGI is done the following day?
FYI, the Number of Days field under "Released documents are still unchecked" is set to 0 days.
Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Thought which came to my mind:
    - Check if you have assigned any routine at 'Document controlling -No credit check'
If the document is not changed then," the Number of Days field under "Released documents are still unchecked" is set to 0 days" is fine.
    Let us know.
    Thanks,

  • Business credit cards question

I have a business credit card for my own company. When I applied for it, the inquiry showed up on my personal credit report, but the account for this card and its balance does not show up on my credit report. I currently have personal credit cards with balances. Would it make sense to transfer those balances to my business credit card (or open a second business credit card for that purpose)? That way, the debt won't be on my personal credit report, and my FICO scores will go up. (That is the ultimate goal, so I can qualify for an auto loan). Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Title and Credit template question

Is it possible to create a "master" title/credit template, so that when a change is made to the master, it's reflected in all the titles/credits upon which it's based? I have a project with 16 clips, each with a title and a credit. I'd like not to have to edit each title block when I need to make a change. Thanks. ~Bond

  • Credit Limit Question

Does SAP store Credit limit Deviation or does it calculate on the fly. If so what documents are taken into account when determining if the customer is over the credit limit?
    Thank you
    Chintan

    Hi Chintan,
There is a report called 'Customers Credit Limit Deviation' under Business Partner Reports. If you want to see what is included in the credit/commitment level calculation, go to the Help (F1) file - it explains it in detail.
You can also set so a warning comes up if a user posts a transactions that affects the credit/commitment level - go to Admin / General Settings / BP tab to activate this warning.

  • Customer Has Exceeded Credit Limit Question

    Hi
At the moment when we raise an order for a customer with a credit limit it appears a warning message saying that the customer has exceeded his credit limit.
This information is a bit misleading if the customer has yes exceeded his limit but only because the outstanding invoices are not due yet ie the Due Date may be 31st May 2010.
Is there a way to combine the two information and inform the SAP user when the payments terms for invoices have been exceeded, not just the credit limit?
    Thank you.

    Hi Matthew ,
Both the thing are different :
    1. Credit Limit is only for the Alert or you can block the further transaction .
    2. Next you are talking about the Aging report for the outstanding payments .
So both having different aspects , you can not directly combine the both. But if you want then you can use some reporting tools .
    Thanks

  • Credit Mix Question

Thank you all for being so helpful! Because of your sound advice, my scores have improved almost 40 points since June 19th of this year! Currently, I have an installment loan for my car through a local bank. This is a 60 month loan that will be paid off in August 2016. The interest is very low, about 2%. I'm really worried that my scores are going to drop when the loan closes next year, but I might have an opportunity to extend the loan through December 2016. This is solely to keep a good mix of credit as I build my score in order to purchase a home. Should I jump on this opportunity if it comes through? Or should I take out another type of loan closer to the time the installment loan will be paid off? My current situation: Scores are EQ 631, TU 614, EX 628, and climbing pretty rapidly, though not high enough for approvals on most things just yet. I am keeping my util under 10% and making on-time payments. I currently have Discover It ($1800, just opened), Cap One QS ($750, open since 2013) and Cap One Secure ($200, open since Feb 2015). Cap One will not approve me for a CLI on the QS just yet. Maybe in 6 months.   I'll be gardening until Feb 2016, which is when all baddies fall from my report, leaving only 3 late pays on the C1 QS card (1 from 2013 and 2 from 2014).  I have under 10 inquiries.  I recently applied for Barclay Reward, Amazon store card and BofA Americard and was denied for all (yes, I called for recon-they want to see the baddies fall off my report before approval). BofA approved me a for a secure card offer, but I'm worried about having too many new accounts so I may hold off.  I have a 20 year credit history thanks to a card my parents opened for me when I was a kiddo, and I've made on-time payments other than the late pays mentioned above and the very old baddies (there are 5) again due to drop by Feb 2016.  Thoughts?

Or should I take out another type of loan closer to the time the installment loan will be paid off? My current situation: I would not extend the auto loan for that reason. Instead, open an account with SDFCU, put 500 in savings and do a 3 year share secured loan. Payments will be $14 and change. Make the first three payments out of pocket, then set it up to auto pay from the savings account. Set this up a few months before the car is paid off. Scores are EQ 631, TU 614, EX 628, and climbing pretty rapidly, though not high enough for approvals on most things just yet. The recent lates are the reason Cap One is not granting CLI's. Keep trying every month, don't wait another 6 months. It does not hurt at all to ask. I ask every month like clockwork.  I'll be gardening until Feb 2016, which is when all baddies fall from my report, leaving only 3 late pays on the C1 QS card (1 from 2013 and 2 from 2014). "Fresh" late pays really hold your scores down. You should see score bumps as each late ages past 24 months. Barclays will want to see at leat 18 months of perfect payments. If you want them, apply again when your lates get at least that old. I have a 20 year credit history thanks to a card my parents opened for me when I was a kiddo, and I've made on-time payments other than the late pays mentioned above and the very old baddies (there are 5) again due to drop by Feb 2016. Whats are these baddies? Thoughts?

  • Working on my MOMs credit, few questions

So I have been on these forums for few months and went from being declined everywhere for credit cards, got two secured cards 7-8 months ago with CLs of 1K, $200 & $300. Did what i was suppose to and was finally able to get approved 3 unsecured cards with CL of $5300 combined, my score in November 2014 was 544 and right now its at 647EX 647EQ 671TU AnywaysNow I decided that I should help my parents out too since their credit is pretty bad, looked my dads and I really dont think I should even bother with him, way too many badies lol But my moms score looks promising and it could defiantly be fixed. Her score is 635EXLate Payment 1Time since late 6.5 years agoCollections account 1AAoA 9.2 yearsNo inquiryNo revolving debt Two accounts on file:One is Union Savings Bank (Mortgage account - in good standing no lates)And the other being the collection account by Choice Recovery with balance of $190 which I can pay in full but I decided to call them today and asked to do Pay for delete but the rep declined. Should I sent just send them a pfd letter and hope i might get difference responce? Also got her Cap1 Platinum & QS1 with CL of $300 for each card 2 days ago. Surprising Cap1 only gave $300 CL.What else can I do to get her score up?

That collection is close to EE time period. Alot of times companies will say no over the phone, I guess because its being taped. Could try pfd letter sent to manager/ceo or someone else, thats higher up than the blokes that answer the phone.
If its listed with TU, you can EE it very soon I presume.
As far as your Dad, the easy part is cleaning up the file. Many times the hard part is getting the person to look at credit differently, and fix their bad habits(myself included hehe).

  • Capital One credit consolidation question.....

Pondering this....I have 2 QS....one is a QS WMC and the other QS Visa.....one of the cards MUST be a zero balance to combine....so which card to have zero balance? Does the destination card have to be zero or the other way around? Which do I keep.....WMC has more benefits....this card needs to be zero to combine my QS Visa to it????

I can't see it being any other way than the card to be closed needing to be $0 balance. Pending transactions would seem like a hurdle on their end to officially close the account, so the account would need to be $0 with nothing pending so the close of the account could be automated.
Hope it all works out well for you

  • My fico vs credit karma vs equifax credit monitoring

As you all can see I am new here and have just begun my credit repair journey I'm hoping that some one can shed some light on credit score questions and educate me in the differences.
I have recently started using credit karma and they tell me the my credit score is 603 on trans union and 605 on equifax so not a huge difference however I was told by a lender that my score was 521. Can anyone educate me where the difference comes from.
Also I was looking at paying for one of the monthly subscriptions here on my fico for monitoring purposes as I have written a lot of GW letters and was just sucess ful at disputing a collection account that was not mine
What do you guys use and what are the pros and cons thanks

There are many different credit scores out there and they are all "correct" based on their own score model. Of those scores, there are FICO scores and Non-FICO scores, or "FAKO's" as they have come to be known. FICO reports that 90% of top lenders use FICO for credit decisions. It is clearly accepted as the industry leader. Your FICO score, just as any credit score, is based on the information in your credit report, you have 3 credit reports from the 3 main credit agencies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion, and you will have a FICO score for each of those 3 credit reports. Your credit reports may have different info in them thus your scores may not be the same. In addition, the info in your 3 credit reports is always changing, even on a daily basis, thus your FICO credit scores are not static and will change with time, sometimes daily based on new info added to your credit reports or simply due to the passing of time (time is one of the major factors taken into account in you credit score). Additional info:http://www.myfico.com/crediteducation/questions/different-scores-for-3-credit-bureaus.aspx
