Dear All BPC Experts:
   Now, I am using BPC 7.5 SP03. After I running FX Restatement Package, there is no information showing up

  • Execution status of running packages

    Hello,
    We have SSIS running in the file system and logs are not stored in SQL Server. we want to implement the health check to currently running job. Is there any way to get the job status? . I already referenced the following link but looks like this one able
    to give the status only the job running thru SQL Agent.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.sqlserver.management.smo.agent.job.currentrunstatus.aspx
    please help me on this regard.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Arthur,
    I solved the issue by developing a small C# application.
    Application app = new Application();
                    // Create a RunningPackages collection, named pkgs, and fill it
                    // with the running packages from the application object.
                    Boolean IsContinue = true;
                    while (IsContinue)
                        RunningPackages pkgs = app.GetRunningPackages(ServerName);
                        if (pkgs.Count > 0)
                            // Enumerate over each package in the collection and display some data.
                            foreach (RunningPackage package in pkgs)
                                Console.WriteLine("InstanceID: " + package.InstanceID);
                                Console.WriteLine("PackageDescription: " + package.PackageDescription);
                                Console.WriteLine("PackageID: " + package.PackageID);
                                Console.WriteLine("PackageName: " + package.PackageName);
                                Console.WriteLine("UserName: " + package.UserName);
                        else
                            IsContinue = false;
    This solves my issue. to answer your question, we choose the deployment method as a file deployment since we run SSIS in multiple instance.
    Thank you....

  • OID resource goes to Disabled Status after running the post process event handler

    Hi,
    We have an event handler on post update operation. The event handler using the user manager API to do some modification. We are using the "Lock()" function of User Manager API to lock the user based on attribute value. After running the event handler though the user gets locked as expected, it also disables the OID resource after that. We have other resources along with OID but they are not affected with event handler. Only the OID user is triggering the disable operation on locking the user on event handler. We have used the OID 11g Connector for implementation.
    If you manually lock the user in user interface it's not going to disable status.
    How we can stop to disable the OID User Account.
    Thanks

    No.If you lock the user in Console it's not going disable status.
    Thanks

    Could you please comment on the issue?

    Hi Usman,
    The solution is :
    1. Edit the files updateConfigProperties.properties and
    prependConfigProperties.properties in the installation directory:
    Replace the hostname with the value present during the initial installation.
    Note that the installation directory is the directory where SAPinst creates its log files.
    The original hostname should be reflected in the names of the profiles created by the installation
    (/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile/<SID>_<Instance>_<hostname>).
    If the log files of the initial installation are still available the original hostname can also be found in the file jengine.properties in the value of the property box.number. This file is located in the installation directory the initial installation
    2. Restart the installation.
    This has to work,it worked for me.
    P.S: Give points,ok.

  • Run a script after a package is updated?

    Is it possible to run a script after a package is updated? I have Anki use a custom config folder (~/.anki instead of the default ~/Anki) and every time Anki updates it reverts back to the default folder. It's not such a burden to make a script that fixes this and run it manually after every update, but it would be nice if it worked automatically. So is there any way to monitor what pacman updates and run a script after it updates a certain package?

    If you're modifying a config file to change this, and pacman is overwriting it, consider adding the config file to pacman's NoUpgrade array in pacman.conf (man pacman.conf for details). If you feel that lots of people would benefit from this file being exempt from the upgrade process, file a bug report/feature request, and the maintainer may make the change in the package itself.

  • Several errors after running catalog.sql

    I did a fresh installation of oracle apps EBS 11.5.10.2 on Linux OEL and was trying to do an import/export and it was not working as expected. So after i looked at Oracle's documentation it said catalog.sql has to be run before using the import/export. So i ran catalog.sql first but i did not run it with SYSDBA but ran it as SYSTEM and i saw several errors like access denied etcv. after i ran the catalog.sql i was not able to login via apps or any other user except SYSTEM and was giving me erros like ORA-04065:not executed,altered or dropped stored procedure "SYS.DBMS_SESSION"
    After this to fix the issue i ran @?/rdbms/admin/catpatch.sql and @?/rdbms/admin/utlrp as SYSDBA but both executed a lot of grants etc but are haging at some point and not finishing.
    The current state of the database is that im not able to login via any user except SYSTEM and i think i corrupted the db dictionary as everywhere i see they say running catalog.sql on an existing database is a bad idea. Can anyone help?

    Hi Dheeraj,
    My db version is 9.2.0.5.0 and OS is OEL 5.7.
    The doc where it was mentioned to run catalog.sql before using import/export is below:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96652/ch01.htm
    Please do not follow the steps in this link and instead follow the steps in (9i Export/Import Process for Oracle Applications Release 11i [ID 230627.1]).
    Currently when im trying to login using apps or any other user below are errors i get.
    ERROR:
    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level1

    Can you pls help me to fix this.The status of the package is invalid and you need to validate it. Connect as sysdba and issue:

  • Run package

    While selecting the run package or view package status , the link is not taking me to next step( to show the list of pacakges).
    The issue exist when I try to go thru 'manage data options'. System acts dead and hangs indefinitley.
    But all other links are working such as etools, enalyze, esubmit.
    I reinstalled the BPC, the issue  is not resolved. This came across newly, as the functinality was working for many days.
    Has some one experienced this. What is the solution? What can I try more in this situation.
    Appreciate inputs

    Check if you are able to see the entries in UJD_PACKAGES table at the back end.
    Please clear and recreate the entries to see if it works. Thanks.

    I have an ABAP report program that was being tested in our QA system and it died after running for 2.5 hours with the status of "Cancelled" (which, I assume, means it was terminated by SAP for exceeding some type of governor).

    Hi BI_group,
    According to the error message, the issue may occur due to two possible reasons: protection level of the package or the 32-bit/64-bit driver issue.
    For the first possible reason, it may be that package still uses the default protection level EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey after it is deployed, however, the SQL Server Agent job runs under a different user account. To avoid the issue, you can re-deploy the
    package and set the package protection level to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword or DontSaveSensitive during the deployment. If it is set to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword, we need to configure the Execution options of the job step to use the
    /decrypt password option in the DTexec utility command line to decrypt the encrypted data. If the package is deployed to the SQL Server or SSISDB catalog, we can set the protection level to Rely on server storage for encryption or ServerStorage.
    If it is not the case, check whether it is caused by the 32-bit/64-bit driver issue. For a 64-bit SSIS server, it uses 64-bit drivers by default, however, BIDS/SSDT uses 32-bit drivers unless the Run64BitRuntime property of the IS project is set to true.
    In the BIDS/SSDT, check the Run64BitRuntime property to see if it runs in 32-bit or 64-bit runtime. This enable us to judge whether we need to check the “Use 32 bit runtime” option for the job step.

  • Intercompany Elimination is doubling after running Legal consolidation

    Hi BPC Guru's
    Intercompany Elimination is doubling after running Legal consolidation Data Manager Package 2nd time tripples when run 3rd time and so on..Only change is that for resolving an issue with balance carry forward, we had changed the datasource type property for the audit trail members that store the eliminated amounts ealier this was A (Automatic) we changed that to (Manual) M and this is causing the doubling to start because if i change it back to A then there is no doubling..but the eliminated values are incorrect.
    Would be great somebody provides with their expertise.

    Hi Arnold,
    This issue is related to another issue that was discussed on the http://scn.sap.com/thread/3247090
    Till December all was well. Come January, after I run the consolidation package, the rule takes into account the balance from December for each month’s calculation:
    There were 2 suggestions from the above post that i tried:
    Check if “COPYOPENING” property in the Audit Trail dimension should not be “Y” -> It was Y for me but changing it to “N” did not solve my issue.
    Opening Flow should be assigned “FLOW_TYPE” property with the value of “OPENING”
    Both these are done in my system. But still the above issue exists. I also tried to change the rule to “Periodic” type but did not help.
      What I basically want is for BPC to ignore the values from previous year and run the calculation based on only the current month’s data.
    When we first faced this issue during January closing, as a temporary fix, we changed the “DATASOURCE_TYPE” property of the audit members used in Eliminations from A to M. This made the rule not consider December balances in the calculation.
    But doing this gave rise to the doubling issue.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards,
    Shruti

  • ABAP Program gives error after running  successfully for few days / months

    I have a problem that sometimes my programs start giving errors or does not run at all after successfully running for few days / months.
    But, when I copy the same program with a different name (without any changes ) it starts running again.
    Yesterday I had another problem. I was sending a request to be transported to Production Client, and the request was not getting transported. But when I changed just the name of the program, It was transported to Production Client.
    I can't understand where the problem lies and what happens to the programs after running successfully for few days. All I have to do is just copy that programm into another name and it starts running.
    Can anyone help me?
    Regards,
    SK Daniel

    about the transport thing..i had the same problem few months back the reason was,  i included a table which is having different package  from my program..so wot im thinking is when you creating a different program u might be assigning different package to this new program  and this package is same as all the tables included in your program...
    regards

  • Apex 4.01 after running apxdevrm 6 objects left invalid

    Hi,
    After running apxdevrm on Apex 4.01 to convert from a development to a runtime environment I am left with 6 invalid objects.
    Owner Object_name Object_type
    PUBLIC APEX_TEAM_FEATURES synonym
    APEX_040000 APEX_TEAM_FEATURES view
    APEX_040000 WWV_FLOW_FEEDBACK_T1 trigger
    APEX_040000 WWV_FLOW_FEEDBACK_T2 trigger
    APEX_040000 WWV_FLOW_PLUGIN_F4000 package body
    APEX_040000 WWV_MIG_FRM_UTILITIES package body
    Can they be safely ignored?
    Could anyone provide some detail on bug 10104409 'Runtime installation becomes invalid when using APXDEVRM.SQL' listed as fixed in the 4.02 patch set.
    Does this refer to the situation described above? Any other issues?
    Thanks,
    Phil

    If : x is a number, then I'd write the query "and ac.c001 = to_char(: x)" to ensure explicit data type compatibility., as the optimizer seems to be doing "and to_number(ac.c001) = : x". I seen this quite often over the years.
    Aside from the ORA-1722, I would expect the query plan to vary between environments, largely based on the stats and histograms of WWV_FLOW_COLLECTION_MEMBERS$ (in my case it contains about 100-1000x more data than WWV_FLOW_COLLECTIONS$). Collection members from multiple users and multiple collections can skew the data in that table significantly.
    As a side-note, if you happen to populate your collection with an unreasonably large resultset (say from a cartesean product), your highwater-marks could be pushed way high on that table, resulting in horrible FTS performance until you address it.

  • HT1199 I have been trying to redownload  itunes.  The download seems stuck on the "Running Package Scripts" page.  It says "about one minute" remaining for the download but, that was 2 hours ago.  Anything I can do?

    I have been trying to re-download itunes.  This is in an effort to try to recover my new iphone 5s which after the latest update, was put into recovery mode.  When I connected to itunes, I was given the message that I couldn't recover the phone.  So, support suggested that I re-download itunes.  The installation seems stuck on the "Running Package Scripts" page.  It says it only has about a minute left to complete this process - however that was over 2 hours ago!  Help!  What can I do next?

    Disconnect the iPhone from your Mac.
    Shut down your Mac, wait about ten seconds then restart.
    Then try downloading iTunes >  Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes Now
    Do not reconnect the iPhone until iTunes is installed.
    If that didn't help, the startup disk may need repairing.
    Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utillities
    Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
    Click:  Verify Disk  (not Verify Disk Permissions)
    If DU reports errors, start up from your Mac install disc to make repairs.
