No Phone or BT Infinity for 4 weeks

I am posting here in the hope a moderator or someone could pick this up and help resolve my problem.
I have a fault on my phone line which means I have been without phone and infinity since 11th June.
Numerous calls to BT and numerous visits by engineers but fault still not fixed.
BT phone department appear incapable on speaking to engineers (open reach?) department so I have no ETA for a fix or any clear explanation what the cause is.
Last straw was yesterday BT dug a massive hole in pavement at the drive in to my property. I now don't have vehicle access to my property.
The supervisor I speak to in India is extremely rude and incapable or trying to understand the issue or take any responsibility for resolving it. He refuses to give me his name and claims his department is the highest level of escalation.
How do I escalate the matter to someone who has some intelligence and pride in their work to actually attempt to help me?

it sounds as if the fault has been located as an underground fault that is taking time to fix

    This is what it says about error 2006
    Error 2000-2009 (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, and so on)

    How do you set up the phone to save more "recent" phone calls than just for one week?  I am only able to see recent phone calls under "all" tab for just one week.  Is there a way to do it for a month?

    You cannot do that on your iPhone -- however, you can go to your cellular carrier's site and see your recent calls.  They go back to the beginning of your current billing period.  For calls older than that, you can also look on your carrier's website and access your previous billing statements.

    Noooo! Actually I too had d same prob wit my iPhone 4S. When I connect to my wifi network it won't get connected or it wil be grey scaled! I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!

    Since upgrading to IOS 7 the photographs I take on my iPhone 4S do not transfer to the cloud. Sometimes one or two of them transfer but then none for weeks. I have deleted photos from the cloud in case it is full but to no affect. I use my iPhone in conjunction with an iPad so this is driving me mad. Anyone else have this problem?

    No you're not the only one having this problem in fact many people are having it I spoke to Apple support today about it. First it is my opinion the aspect ratio is different on iPhone 4s compared to iPhone 5s, however I really feel it is a software issue. Just to make sure I am having the same problem you are I will describe my issue. I Have confirmed the following: if I Center an object on my iPhone 4s screen and open the picture while I am still in the app (open on the bottom left it)looks fine. But when I open camera roll and open that particular picture it's also fine
    Until I scroll left or right it pulls the image to the left side appearing to cut off the left side of the image. After talking to Apple support today and my knowledge with Apple products I strongly suspect this is a software issue. Apple asked me to do a restore as a new phone but I'm not going to go through all that nonsense when I believe it's a software issue and not a hardware issue. So again to recap to answer your question you're not alone, theses sort of things are expected when they rollout a new iOS just hang in there and let's see if they put a patch out for next update.

    PLease, PLEASE give me a phone number for tech support.  I've tried to follow your suggestions to download the Adobe upgrade for weeks and NOTHING WORKS.   I admit to being technically challenged, but this is not fair and taking far too much time with zero results.

  • Voicemail not working for weeks.

    My voicemail has not been working for weeks. I cannot record messages and I don't belive I can receive any. I have looked on line and I know I am not the only one having trouble. Skype has not responded to several requests I have made to them for assitance under "Provide Skype Feedback". Anyone have any solutions?  I know things usually go to hell once the New World Order controlled Microsoft buys it out. I know Microsoft spies on our Skype communication, but can they at least make some effort to ensure Skype works. Thanks.

    I had the same problem and after a lot of research here and on Verizon I finally discovered that it was an app named Onavo Extend that was preventing my voicemail from working. Other people have had success resetting their phone or network settings, disabling and reenabling SIRI, or deleting the Neilsen app (which I didn't have)  but those options didn't work for me. A lot of mods have claimed that this is not an Apple problem but if it is caused by an app that Apple allows to be sold in their app store, then it is an Apple problem, not a carrier problem. Of course, sometimes its just an ID 10 T problem.

I was told by genius bar to install Yosemite, which I did. But that did not solve the problem. I removed macKeeper, as well, since a techie friend told me that could be the cause. Nothing so far has worked.  When the problem first happened, it seemed to only happen in Chrome. Google voice calling out worked fine in safari, for about a day or so. Now I cannot call out from any browser. I can, however receive calls, and make calls within the video hangout.

    You need to download something called JoikuSpot from the Nokia Store, they were giving it away free last week. You then follow the instructions to basically set up a little wifi hotspot, look at the settings carefully and create a password to get on it, by default it creates an open network so anyone can use it.

    Hi  I just did it for mine today (in the UK) in the Genius Bar at our local Apple Store.
    The process was quite long, involving the iPhone being wiped and sent through diagnostic checks (to make sure that the phone didn't have any other problems and to verify ownership I assume) but they gave me a loan phone and it's now sent off - turnaround is about a week.
    Just one further issue was that when I checked my serial number at home against the 'replacement programme' https://ssl.apple.com/support/iphone5-sleepwakebutton/ my phone came up as "not eligible" but when the genius bar entered it in their mac-book it said it was eligible!  Probably just me entering the serial number wrong so I don't know for sure.
    I'll let you know how I get on.

    After a couple of weeks without a reliable data service and poor phone connections in the Bridport area I have tried to contact support. As usual they are experiencing the same higher than normal calls so I have been listening to your poor quality music for 12 minutes or so before you just dropped the line. I am 12 minutes into the second call and you cut me off again.  This is not customer service it is a disgrace. There is also no chat available. Pathetic that a communications company can't communicate! I have already had to take out a monthly contract with another supplier to be able to keep my business in touch. I could be looking to move away from O2 very soon

And you keep getting fed the same ole rubbsih from robots that work at O2!! Its not acceptable and the frustrating part is that we as consumers are completely useless!!  These Companies need SLA (Service Level Agreements) put in place by the regulator that will put a rocket up their rear & make them get things done in a "reasonable" time or get fined!! We that are affected are paying for a service that is simply not working, its not just a one off, it happens quite regular in some areas like mine!!!! Its probably not the answer you want to hear but its poor & big company syndrome lets them get away with it, you are the sheep, they are the wolf!!!!

    ok, I did, and it said again congrats your iPhone is unlocked, but, when it said there was a new carrier update, I cancelled it, but, it asked me again, I cancelled again, I guess I'm scared it will lock it again if I allow the carrier update.
    Oh, there it goes again, this time on the phone, arg. I hit update, I hope it doesn't freak out.
    I'm glad I didn't destroy the SIM like I almost did. But, it will come out again, longer battery life with the cell portion turned off.

  • Icloud photo "preparing library" for weeks, is this normal

    Using OSX photos beta. My photos have uploaded to icloud and are in sync between devices. However, when logging into icloud photos on any browser, I have not gotten beyond the "preparing library..." message. It's been about two weeks of preparing. My library is not that substantial (7,000 photos). I feel like the preparing should have finished by now. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    Now that I've had my first bad experience with Verizon in the 16 years I've been a customer, I'm checking out my options.  If the third Palm Pixi is defective, here's what I understand are my options:
    1.  I can keep getting replacement Palm Pixi Plus phones
      1a.  Would involve down-time both for calling and computer while waiting for replacement phone
    2.  I can send the Pixi back to Verizon and reactivate my old phone.  BTW it's nearly four years old and still works good unlike the two new Pixi phones that crapped out
      2a.  I can drop the data package but now I'm again under a contract
      2b.  I will have lost my right to an upgrade to a new phone
    3.  I think I understood that I can exchange the Pixi if defective for another phone but will either:
       3a.  Pay the full price of the phone
       3b.  Settle for a re-conditioned phone
    Hopefully the third Pixi will work and we'll live together as happily as I have with my nearly four year old non-smart phone.
    The CS employees have all been very pleasant and helpful, however, I am very disappointed in the company.  I guess I didn't read the fine print, even if the "new" phone is defective and I send it back I'm punished by Verizon by being held to a new contract period and no upgrade for 18 months.  Live and learn.   BTW, I have several ecommerce carts so I really need to be able to get Online!
