No Ranges for Org Determination
Hi Gurus,
I have to configured Org Structure in CRM. There is no integration of CRM with ECC is required. Therefore i have defined simple Org Structure in CRM.
Now, i want to assign specific no ranges to my Org Units w/out any specific partner number. How i can customize it .

i have configured and tested for Sales Organization Determination Successfully. But i hve following concerns in which i required guidance:
1. For Service Org Determination i use Service Org in Functional Tab and Partner No as Attributes. Even in Transaction Type Configuration i use Org.Profile Data which has created on Service Scenario. But when i am going to create particular Transactions it is automatically determine Service Org but given an error of Sales Org, DC and DIV determination. Why ?
2. How Marketing Org can be determined. Determination of Marketing org is necessary or not.
3. How Interaction Center can be cater into Org.Structure.

Hi,
Can someone guide me on how to create number range for Org. Units from say 10000000 (My org unit series should start with 1xxxxxxx), Jobs 20000000 and Positions from 30000000. Step by step would be helpful.

Goto table T77IV click on maintain, Click on New Entries >> Enter the subgroup ( PVOB) PV - Plan Verson and OB is for Object you want to maintain the number ranges for eg : 01C for Job. >> Enter and save the record...
It will take u to the next screen >> Click on maintain intervals >> Click on Add Intervals >> New screen will appear ... enter the details as below :
NO From Number To Number Remarks
01 1 19999999 This is Object range
Note : do not enter anything in "Current Number" & Do not select "Ext"

Can i give the BP number range as external for the org units created in org model, so that i can give an external number while creating the org unit in the org model.

Any Org unit created in the Org model will be created as BP and you can give the number range.
What i suggest is go to best practises in help.sap.com and select C02_BB_Configurationguide_en and this has the details how you can give the number range and grouping.

Generate a BP number for Org. Unit in Org. Model
Hi experts,
For each organizational unit created in the organizational model a business partner is generated automatically.
However, when I go to Org. Model and create a Org. Unit, it is NOT generating a BP number for it.
Can anybody help me on this ?
I configured as following steps:
Step 1: Defining Number Range for Org Business Partners
Step 2: Defining Groupings for Org Business Partners
Step 3: Set up integration
HRALX-HRAC - X
HRALX-OBPON - ON
HRALX-ONUMB - 2
HRALX-OSUBG - Enter your Number Range defined in the previous steps here.
save your entries.
Step 4: Execute Report for Changeover Classification

You can follow the below steps to assign the BP to the org units if it is not assigned automatically
Go to IMG--> CRM --> Master data -> Business Partner -> Integration Business Partner-Org Mangement -> Create Business Partner Intially
Select the Organization unit check box and execute
Doble click on without business partners (All objects-> Org units -> without business partners )
Select the org units and click on start repair
I the above will solve your issue

Set Up number range for OM Objects
Hi All,
I have set up Ext number range for Org Unit & Position.
example: Org Unit 50000000 - 599999999 and i have uploaded data till 50000999.
so it should be update current number as 50000999.
but in my scenario its not updating current number still is '0'
Please help me.

I am agree with your reply as I am doing the same thng. Currently I am using External Number Range as I am going to upload data and later will change into Internal.
but my question is in Number Range Maintanace in Current Number should be update automatically or not.
Example Org Unit from 500000000 - 59999999 and we uploaded data till 50000900
so in Current it should show 50000900
NO From Number To Number Current Number EXT
EX 500000000 59999999 0
but in my case it is showing '0' in current number
so Please confirm me whether it should update automatically, if yes pls tell me how

I am working in CRM 5.0 and i have successfully created the organisation determination in the online system .The pop up appears in the Online system from which the Org can be selected .But in ICWEB Client I am not able to get the organisation determination pop up ,does anybody have a similar scenario.

We are facing a similar problem
Pop-ups are technically not possible in IC Web client ( CRM 5.0). However you can create a new view in Application CRM_IC, attach it to the viewarea you want to view it in.
The new view will be visible when there are more then one values for Org Determination. Create a button in the view, clicking which will fill the org fields with the selected values.

Org determination in transaction based on custom Partner Function
Hi All,
I am trying to figure out how can I modify the partner determination procedure and org data profile to determine the sales area (org,dc,div,so,sg) in a transaction automatically without having to choose the sales org.
Here is the set up:
Sales Org ->Soff->Sales group are permitted for Org determination in ppoma_crm.
Custom Partner Functions - Y1 and Y2 assigned to Sales Partner Function Category
Access Sequence YXXX has the following set up:

Org Data Profile YORGPROF01 is maintained for Scenario SALES with Org Model Deter Rule 10000177. Sorg and Dc mandatory set.
The transaction type YOPP is configured as shown:
Org Profile YORGPROF01
Partn Func Org Activity Partner
Partner Determination Proc YPP001
Now here is the issue:
We want that when we create transaction YOPP it should fill the Org data including Sales Office and Sales group from the partner associated with the PF Y1 which gets assigned automatically when the account is selected on the transaction.
With the above setting, it populates all the sales offices and sales groups that have been marked for determination in ppoma_crm (which we don't want it to do). We need it marked for determination so the BP's master data associated with Y1 shows up the sales group and sales office.
When the account is selected on the transaction and Y1 is determined via partner determination, we would want the sales Org also to get determined automatically from the Y1 partner's master data.
Anything that can be changed in the above settings to make this happen?

Although i have no practical experience with this but an educated guess would be to use Partner function determination . If you have 'employee responsible ' PF , Then u can further use him for org determination.

Sales Org Determination and slaes are Templets not assigned
Dear Experts,
I have a problem in Sales Org determination and sales are templates.
I have totaly 9 branches as part of Project rollout and the determination rule is working for 8 branches where as only one branch is facing this problem.
I have checked all possible solutions from this forum and tried my level best, still not working out. Pls help me .
1) When tried to create a sale order it gives me an error saying " Enter sales Unit" "Enter Distribution Channel" " Enter Sales Org"
I have created the Sales are templets and also assigned them to main templates. And the rule for org determination is defined with the fields, Data Origion, Partner and Source in contianer , which is working fine with other branches.. Only one branch we are facing this above said problem..

I have alredy created the Rule for sales org determination based on Insustry sector( Contianer- Industry Sector, PArtner, and source) and it is working fine with 1st and 2nd branch users. It is only a problem with 3 rd branch where 3 users are using the system.
Even I cross checked the authorisations,and I did not find any error with the authorizations. Hope you r more clear on this

Org determination for Service & Sales Organization

Here is my objective and steps I have performed so far. Pl. guide me with your 'pearls of knowledge & experience'..!!
Objective: To create Org determination profile so that when Campaign is released, prospective customer calls 1-800 number, based on the zipcode of the customer, an Appointment/Demonstration transaction is created and this transaction is routed to the Regional Sales/Service Office.
Configuration done:
1) Org structure with Regional Sales/Service is created. Do I have to create/assign 'zipcode' as attribute over here? If yes, do I just specify the Zipcode range for each office..? Do I select 'Object Permitted in determination'..?
2) Do I have to create new Org Determination profile or I can use an existing one, such as '00000001 - Std Org data profile-Sale', which uses '10000280' as Org Det Procedure? I checked 10000280 (REG_SERV_04) and it uses zipcode as reference. I suppose we do not change/config anything with this rule correct..?

I answer because I am interested in this topic. I will share what I know. When you set the flag "Object permitted for determination" the Organization is available for the transactions. So you must set this. Also, Zip code is maintained in the Attributes tab for the scenario that you choose. In your case, I think you choose Sales. This will help in the Orgnization data determination.

Org determination problem for an Opportunity created through CIC0.
Dear all,
I have a problem with org determination in an opportunity createde through CIC0. I initially created a BP, then a contact person for the same BP and then created an opportunity for the BP where in system is not picking up the Org Data.
The determination rule says that
if BP has sales area data --> present those sales areas
if BP has no sales area data --> pick up from the user assignement in the org structure.
Now case 2 should be applicable to me. I have maintianed a user as BP under Sales Org. I have activated obj permitted for determination at sales org level.
When I am creating opp from cic0, user is getting picked properly. However, org data is not getting picked.
The scenario works fine when opportunity is created through CRMD_ORDER
What is that I am missing out??? PLEASE HELP ME OUT...

and related. Also please check note 487734 regarding missing pop-ups in CIC0.

Implement Org determination for Service Orders
Hello Freinds ,
My Client is implementing the service order with WebIC2005 with the following scenarios.
Service orders created Manually.
Service Orders created from completed sales order automatically.
Could any one possibly suggest the best practice of implementing org determination for the above scenarios.
Is it a correct practice to determine sales org for manual creation of Service Order.
For Automation process is it not correct have sales org determined from sales order.
How to determine Org Determination in WebIC service order Link?

You cant assign two diffrent org determination for same transaction type.
Its always better to determine the org at transaction type level. But wehn you are creating service order from sales order , you can set the rule in Copy control whether to copy the org or not.

The system determines the process as
When u enter a prospect, the syetem determines the organisation based on attributes ,which in turn pick up the employee responsible from that particular organisation.

e.g.

2. Define a Ztable ZNUMB_RANGE as follows

3. In user exit RV60AFZZ (USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE)
Read table ZNUMB_RANGE for Number Range with Comp. Code, Tax country and Billing Doc.
If found pass this number range value to us_range_intern.
us_range_intern is a standard SAP variable which tells program which number range use to create the current document which is under process.

Number ranges for Business Partner
Hello experts,
Can you please guide how to define different number ranges for differenet different parner functions such Bidder and Employee.
Presently when I create a new employee for a Business partner who has newly registered with SRM, they both are getting same range of BP number, which makes the user list very long to manage/search while creating BID/Auction invitation.

find below the settings of table T77S0 in our system. We use grouping Z4 for org units. Be aware of the fact that number range and grouping have to have the same ID in this case.
