Nokia 1506 CDMA modem driver

Does anybody know where to find Nokia 1506 CDMA modem driver? I tried to use the pc suite for 1506 but it seems not working...
have tried to use Nokia 1508 CDMA modem driver, but apparently the two devices' hardware ID are not the same... so the modem driver is incompatible.
I don't intend to use Nokia PC Suite functions.. i just need the modem driver...

Doesn't install Properly on Windows 7 x64 Bit Edition.
Ive testet anything cleaning with the 7.1.1 Cleaner from nokia reinstall of
PC Suite

and AVM BlueFritzUSB Stick same Version one of these two sticks it works installed with the BtModem Driver why i don't know.
I dont know what the Faliure ist but the Bluetooth Modem for the 5800 and the Serial COM Port doesnt Install.
so Far i searched the registry on the working computer to locate the Inf File that are need also a manual linking to the corresponding INF File doesnt work.

So if the Modem doesnt install the Standard Serial over Bluetooth link for the COM port redirection also doesnt install.

same problem here bro... I ran out of internet how much I searched... I tried even to change the operating system from vista to XP... same problem. What is weired it's that on my girlfriend laptop it works proper.

this .inf file you dowloaded is not meant to be installed directly but all you have to is to select that file when you are insalling the modem ..go to control pane>phone& modems>modem tab then add new modem then check the option "do not detect my modem let me choose from a list " from this click "have disk" then browse to the loaction of the (Nokia6020Cable_98SE_ME_2000_XP.inf ) that modem driver you have downloaded ...this is the only way to install the file ..configure the rest

There isn't a modem driver because the 2626 cannot be used as a modem.
You need a more advanced model for that feature.

arie i've got the same problem as you. i've installed nokia pcsuite 7.1 it did detect my handset but refused to install the modem. here's the tricks i've used .....
just uninstall the pcsuite you use then install this version 6.85 dalam Bahasa Indonesia

but before you install the pcsuite install the cable driver that came along in the site then connect your phone after you installed the pcsuite

E70: cannot load IR modem driver

I upgraded the FW to the latest version, I have the latest PC Suite installed and still I cannotuse the E70 with my laptop for dialup GPSR connections. It seems PC suite does not automaticly install the correct drivers for IR modems. I now use the standard one, but I get the message 'cannot connect to the network'. If I go to the option, I only can pick the 'standard modem over IR link'.
On the Nokia site there's a special IR-driver ( an inf.file) for the E70. I downloaded this but it will not install. Even if I try all the basic windows setup install procedures this file is refused. It is seen OK if I go the the option where you select your own drivers, only it will not install. A totally mysterious thing. Is the file corrupt? Is something wrong with my W2K-version.
I remember I had this thing before with other drivers, but one way or the other I always managed to get around this. Now I can't find a solution. Trouble is I cannot use the E70 to connect my PC to the web while I'm traveling.
Anyone with a brilliant solution??
(PS. I don't want to use a cable and I don't want to use bluetooth. I want to get the IR-link working on the E70.)Message Edited by rusco on 25-Oct-2006

Took a while, but I tried the USB cable and with this connection I have no problem making contact with T-mobile.

USB-CDMA Modem won´t work after shut dowen by my PB

I´m using a VTION V1810 CDMA modem to connect to the Internet when travelling.
Works fine, only after the connection is shut down by either the PB or due to inactivity timeout after 30 min, I can not connect anymore.
I tried several procedures like connecting to another USB port, setting up a new connection and so on.
Just after some time if the device is not plugged in, I get lucky and it connects again as if there was no rain in this world...
Any ideas?
I already learnt that I always have to connect it to the same USB port, and that it is luck if it works over a hub.

Sorry, I was not clear enough. The modem had a problem that involved it not hanging up. I wondered if there might be a similar process that was occurring with the CDMA modem.
With the CDMA modem I use, there was no script/driver but I connect using the "null modem 115200" setting (in modems). I see there are a few other modem settings in there.
As a point, have you updated the OS recently? Sometimes this will mean that a driver does not integrate properly and we would have to wait until the maker updates the driver too. It might be worth your while to try the other settings.

6275 cdma modem problem

Help. My Latest Nokia PC Suite connects with my phone 6275. It shows "contacts", memory card, calendar. But it doesn't see my phone's modem (I want to connect to internet through PC) and it also doesn't see SMS.

In Nokia PC Suite (GSMs), One touch access can be used for accessing internet with the help of selecting the appropriate service providers list from One touch access. When it comes to CDMA, its different from GSM handsets and As far as i know Nokia PC Suite(GSM) is meant for GSM handsets... Its my personal assumption that this is why CDMA modem issue araised to you guys, may be you can look for any CDMA related pc suites of Nokia(if any, i am not aware of CDMA PC Suites from nokia) are available for your CDMA handsets...

I'm aware of problems in synchronizing Pocket PC PDA and Ibook, but I have to resolve my problem. I can "see" my PDA through bluetooth connection just for synchronize contacts and mail - can't see wireless modem. How can i do? Is there a MAC bluetooth modem driver for my qtek? Using Win XP, driver's name is HTC USB Modem, but i couldn't find the same for Mac OS. Can you help me? It would be important for my job.

I have paired Qtek and Ibook many times, but never have been asked about Internet connection, simply because Ibook sees the PDA as "computer", not as "phone". In Bluetooth service, i just can find: Service Discovery, Voice Gateway, SSA. In Nokia Bluetooth service i can find: OBEX Object Push, OBEX File Transfer, Dial-up networking, Nokia PC Suite, COM 1, Voice Gateway, Audio Gateway, Client SYNCML, SIM ACCESS.
Using a PC, i could easily find the way to log on internet and use BT modem. Since i have to use ZTerm software (like an Hyper Terminal for Win platform), i have to "see" my BT modem...

Sendin fax using nokia 9210i fax modem via laptop

Please can someone explian to me how to send fax using my nokia 9210i fax modem. I can use this fax modem to dial up a network and connect to the internet but when i try to send a fax with it using windows it dials the number but it diplays data call and the fax does not go it keeps on showing data call in progress, please how can i make i turn it into fax call, maybe i need a coomand but i dont know or is nokia 9210i cannot do this

Do you have an IBM / Lenovo Laptop?
I do and I checked the event logs and noticed failure 680 which indicated that no dial tone could be obtained (cable not plugged it) or similar symptom.
I used to receive the error "one touch access failed to establish a network connection" using the Nokia PC Suite. I checked under start | settings | network connections and selected properties on the valid dial-up device. Then I noticed that the device was using the Internal Thinkpad modem instead of the Nokia. This explained the error 680 as the Thinkpad modem was not cabled to the phone line. After changing the connect using device from thinkpad to Nokia all worked well.

What you need to do depends on what you're trying to accomplish, but here, for example, is how to connect to the internet through your modem. (These instructions are for Panther; I don't have Tiger).
Open the Internet Connect application in your Applications folder. Click the Internal Modem button in IC's button bar. Fill in your ISP's dialup access telephone number, your account/username, and your password in the appropriate boxes, and click the Connect button. That's all!
