NoSuchMethodError migrated jclient calling JUIteratorBinding.getApplication

I migrated a JClient from jdev 9.0.32 to 9.0.4 then to 10.1.2 and when I run the application from within jdev I get the following error:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.jbo.uicli.binding.JUIteratorBinding.getApplication()Loracle/jbo/uicli/binding/JUApplication;
at oracle.jbo.uicli.controls.JUNavigationBar.iteratorBindingChanged(JUNavigationBar.java:445)
at oracle.jbo.uicli.controls.JUNavigationBar.setModel(JUNavigationBar.java:365)
at InfoFormPkg.PanelIdTranslationView1.jbInit(PanelIdTranslationView1.java:110)
at InfoFormPkg.PanelIdTranslationView1.setPanelBinding(PanelIdTranslationView1.java:168)
at InfoFormPkg.IdForms.jbInit(IdForms.java:141)
If I deploy the application with a previously defined deployment it runs fine. That previous deployment somehow still uses the 9.0.3 libraries. If I create a new deployment and use 10.1.2 libraries I get the same error as above.
I'm suprised I can compile within jdeveloper and then the libraries it runs with can come up with an no such method error.

    Hi Steve,
    More info:
    I created a new application, model: 1 entity + 1 view, client: wizard generated form amd it works.
    I created a new JDev installation without migrating the setup of previous versions or installing the updates. I kept the default JVM for all my projects.
    I opened a copy of the 10.1.3 application, created a new wizard generated panel based on one entity based view and I get the error?

  • Migrating from Call Manager 8.5.1 to HCS

    moving to HCS and apparently there is no configuration migration utility so the vendor has to type it all in. That seems strange to me so I am asking if any has ever heard of a way to get my Call Manager & Unity 8.5.1 configuration into HCS without having to type it all in again ?

    No problem.  HCS typically uses VOSS for multi-customer CUCM management, and that tool accepts data in Excel format.  Just perform a BAT Export on your CUCM and Unity information and send it on, and the vendor can manipulate the data as needed without retyping.  I've done some HCS projects, and I depended on the Excel data and BAT for importing customer information.

  • NoSuchMethodError from ReferenceableSerializerImpl call

    I have a client program that's generating this error at runtime:
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sun.xml.rpc.encoding.ReferenceableSerializerImpl
    My client program is trying to connect to a simple webservice that echo's back a message.
    I used wscompile to generate the client stubs. I'm now trying to get a client program
    that uses these stubs to work. My client main class is straightforward:
    public static void main (String[] args)
    try
    EchoHeadersService service = new EchoHeadersService_Impl(); // line 16
    EchoHeaders stub = service.getEchoHeaders();
    String s = stub.echo(args[0]);
    System.out.println ("Echoed message:"+s);
    catch (Exception e)
    e.printStackTrace();
    My classpath includes: j2ee.jar, jaxrpc-impl.jar, jaxrpc-api.jar, jaxrpc-spi.jar, namespace.jar,
    and my compiled classes, of course. I'm running under JDK 1.4.2_03. The stack trace is
    originating from line 16, as noted above:
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sun.xml.rpc.encoding.ReferenceableSerializerImpl.<init>(ZLcom/sun/xm
    l/rpc/encoding/CombinedSerializer;Lcom/sun/xml/rpc/soap/SOAPVersion;)V

    at sample.EchoHeadersService_Impl.<init>(EchoHeadersService_Impl.java:24)
    at EchoClient.main(EchoClient.java:16)
    Is wscompile buggy? Will the code generated by wscompile actually run?
    Does my classpath need other jar files?
    Any hints or thoughts will be appreciated.

    In the future, please post JAXRPC related questions to the actively monitored mailing list: [email protected]
    Sounds like a classpath issue to me. Double check your classpath for errors.
    You need a lot more jar files, to run but this class and method should be found with what you have.
    Here is a more complete list of jars to include. This is taken from the build.properties of the JAXRPC tutorial included in the JWSDP 1.3 turorial pack that can be downloaded from:
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/downloads/webservicestutorial.html
    javamail.jar=${jwsdp.shared}/lib/mail.jar

    xsdlib.jar=${jwsdp.shared}/lib/xsdlib.jar

    As for wscompile, it is reliable, and yes it generates source code that runs.

  • Migration assistant calls my laptop an iMac

    Why, when I use the migration assistant from Time Machine, does it think my 17" MacBook Pro is an iMac?

    Are you saying it's copied the Computer Name of the Mac whose backups it migrated from?
    If so, that's normal. Just go to +System Preferences > Sharing+ and change it.
    If not, please clarify the problem.

  • Suddenly NoSuchMethodError on calling DOCUMENT_CREATE2 with JCo

    Hi.
    I'm working with JCo to create ("BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2") and modify ("BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2", "BAPI_DOCUMENT_DELETE") documents in SAP R/3.
    Until yesterday all worked fine. Suddenly I get a "NoSuchMethodError" if I call this methods.
    Is it possible that the server denies the execution of this methods?
    BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLIST and similar methods are still working.

    Hello
    this looks like you are trying to call a java method which does not exist. Maybe you changed something in your java coding or you forgot to pack required .jar and .class files into your java application
    also refer to java docs for

  • UCCE 8.5.3/8.5.4 call volume statistics not matching in interval tables

    hello,
    We have just migrated a call center to UCCE 8.5.3 that runs roggers and ICM call flow scripts that contain very basic flows. In each flow there is basically a one-to-one ratio of call type elements to select skill group elements.
    Generally you would expect the call volume (as our scripts are written) to have almost the same call volume in the call type interval table and the skill group interval table, with allowable differences because of RONAs, etc. But basically somewhat close.
    In general this does work but after a reboot of the roggers (A and B sides) (logger down first, then router and reversed to start), the skill group interval data lags greatly from the call type interval data, meaning maybe 10% of the call type interval volume. We have learned that completely shutting down both A and B side and then briinging it back up in order from scratch seems to alleviate the problem (until the next restart). We cannot just leave the servers alone though due to company security patching policies.
    Cisco TAC had recommended patching to UCCE 8.5.4 which we have recently done, but the probelm persists.
    I was wondering if this data discrepancy has ever been seen by anyone else or if possibly some system config issue might be self-deating us? Rebooting the roggers leaves the phone system itself working just fine for the call centers, but the recording of statistics to the skill group interval table is greatly impacted with almost no recording of volume in relation to the call type interval (and for comparison, the call type skill group interval table as well).
    We would generally not worry about it, but the workforce management vendor that takes its feed from UCCE only uses the skill group interval, which is basically reporting almost no volume in the mentioned scenarios.
    If anyone can provide any information it would be most appreciated/
    Thanks.
    Greg

    Thank you for the response. The time source check is a great idea. We ran into problems before when internal web service servers did not match the PGs (CTIOS service) and CTI provideed stats did not match.
    We will continue to work through TAC, but I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this (as 8.5.4 sid not fix it) and if maybe it could have been something self-defeating in our system configuration or scripting. We did not immediately know this was happening until our 3rd party workforce management vendor made us aware.
    Thanks,
    Greg

  • File Not found error when calling Form Post Method to a JSP from JSP Portlet

    I have built a set of JSP forms using post method to call other JSPs. Normally, the code looks like
    <form name="MyForm" action="MyJsp.jsp" method="post">
    I migrated the calling form containing this code to a portlet, but not the MyJsp.jsp. When I submit the form, I get a file not found in Jserv.log

    I notice that launching the calling jsp from a portlet, my opriginal context that uses ../Apache/Apache/htdocs is not being searched for the JSp. Why is this? Moreover, I try to set up an Alias in httpd.conf file to the this director and use it with the jsp in the action tag, but still get an error that my jsp servlets/Myjsp can't be found. Why is it insiting on looking at servlets context instead of htdocs.
    I have none of these issues outside of Portal30 using IAS.
    regard

    Initially, I couldn't do this unless I moved tghe jsp's up to the root directory of IAS, i.e ../Apache/Apache. Nomrally, htdocs is my doc directory for IAS. I could not do http:\\myUrl\htdocs\myJsp. If I tgried this, I got an error in Apache error logg that said can't find file ..\htdocs\htdocs\MyJsp.jsp.
    If I just tried the the URL http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp with Jsp file in htdocs, I would get an error in the Jserve log that file d:\oracle\isuites\apache\apache\MyJsp.jsp could not be found. Once I moved the file MyJsp to Apache/Apache directory, it could be found using http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp. Later, I delted these files and kept the ones in htdocs and they continued to work.
    I'm confused why launching pages through portal isn't consistant with Apache Standards. Where is the documentation that tells me how to configure context and aliases for pages launched from portal pages?

    One of the more important calendars that did not make it across in the migration was called Anniversaries&Holidays. This calendar, surprise surprise, contained items such as birthdays, public holidays etc that repeat on the same day each year, with a few variations such as Easter, which obviously changes date each year.
    I have gone to the back-up of the iCal calendars I had on the PPC iMac in Users/MyName/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources
    and found 8 folders with names such as 9C19D09D-2AA6-455C-8CF7-7AF3C09C9D6A.calendar
    This folder has three files in it, including one called corestorage.ics Is this the file I want/need?
    Interestingly, I had 8 calendars, so I might expect each of the corestorage.ics files to correspond to each of the 8 calendars. However, when I open each of these corestorage.ics files, I get only a messsage saying this: Adding New Events This Calendar contains new events. Please select a destination calendar: Then follows the name of the calendar. All of the 8 corestorage.ics files appear to want me to save to the same calendar and therefore appear to be identical to each other. Where is the corestorage.ics file that corresponds to the original calendar called Anniversaries&Holidays? I don't have a clue what is going on here. Does anyone else and can s/he help? Many thanks.

  • LSMW data migration porcess from the beginning

    Hi gurus,
    I do understand that there are 14 steps to be completed during migration, but can anyone give me a basic idea as what needs to be done prior to the above steps when starting a data migration project, as i have been only involved in the LSMW(14 steps) process before.
    Thanks in advance, points will be awarded for all answers.

    Hello
    As an intro:
    Classical data migrations are typically limited to master data and
    tend to cause multiple negative impacts on workflow and oper-
    ating business units.
    To minimize costs, risks, and effort during a data migration and ensure a smooth changeover for operational business processs items, and better reporting
    capabilities SAP recently come with a Data Migration Solution called SAP Accelerated Data Migration tool.
    This advanced tool, coupled with support from the SAP Services organization and SAP partners, lets you easily migrate and integrate application data from any legacy system into SAP applications – and reduce migration costs significantly.
    Data migration is done in 4th phase i.e. the final preparation stage of ASAP methodology.
    As far as LSMW is concerned, BDC and LSMW both are use for loading data into SAP system. The difference is ,LSMW is loading tool by SAP where you can use various methods to upload, massage data or cleansed your data while loading into SAP from legacy system. The method can be BDC, BAPI, Idocs or SAP ABAP codes. Usually in BDC the user has to write an ABAP program or use other utility to load legacy data.
    LSMW has been developed mainly for the Functional people who has no knowledge of the technical aspects of report or BDC in ABAP because its very user friendly and handy to use. So, simply they can upload the master records using LSMW.

  • Migrating Data from Access

    I was wondering if it was possible to get data from an access
    database to Oracle for Linux. Is it theorectically possible to
    migrate from Access to a trial version of Oracle8 for NT, then
    from NT transfer data to Oracle8 for Linux? Thanks for any

    Whether Oracle is running on Unix or NT should not matter. Oracle
    is as independent of any underlying operating system as it can
    be.
    There is a migration tool, called the Oracle Migration Workbench,
    that can map items (such as constraints, not just table
    definitions and data) from a source to a target. I don't think
    this supports Access.
    Then there are upsizing wizards. I haven't used one for Access,
    but I have used one for Foxpro and it was OK.
    Thirdly, you can just do an ODBC connection to the Oracle
    database (needs SQLNet installed on the client before creating
    the ODBC connection) and just create tables using your access
    tables as a source. If you have Oracle for NT then you have
    SQLNet for NT as well.

  • Functionality of Infopackage groups in BI 7.0

    Does anyone know how to use Info package groups functionality in BI 7.0?

    An InfoPackage group is a collection of InfoPackages.
    InfoPackage groups are replaced by process chains:
    Description
    InfoPackage groups are replaced by process chains.

    General Practices with Migration
    You call the InfoPackage group tree in transaction RSA1OLD. From there, you select the InfoPackage group. In the maintenance for the InfoPackage group, you select Process Chains. The InfoPackages of the InfoPackage group are then embedded in a process chain.

  • Blackberry controls and midlets

    Midlet meets blackberry let the battle for who can use the escape key begin!
    If you're having trouble mapping keys from the blackberry to your midlet..this will definitely help you!
    in this post I go over: Adding menu items to the blackberry menu, and gaining access to undetected keys such as the Escape Key.
    First of all, that **** menu how do I add stuff to it?
    Well...that in itself is a hastle but lemme just say, that menu
    is in a nutshell a CommandListener. Same freakin menu. Later on in this post I show how to map the escape key..and i'm guessing pretty much every other key...of course
    the only key I ever had a problem with was the EscapeKey/HangUpKey
    Anyways if you want that BlackBerry Menu Code here

    }now keep in mind, I took this from a nice little example MIDlet called DemoMidlet inside the BlackBerry JDE
    so it's not like they didn't make an effort. I mean I pretty much took it out of their examples located in
    C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.6.0\samples\com\rim\samples\device\midletdemo
    but lets face it...some of us like to use the Canvas Class...so showing us how to use it with a Form not exactly helpful.
    All I did was the same thing it's just I made a canvas, and implemented the CommandListener, then swapped their form for my canvas.
    It freaking worked like a charm. I mean I didn't really use that alert stuff...as it wasn't necessary, but it's a nice demo to learn from.
    Part 2: The Escape Key!
    The first and only problem I noticed when porting over to the blackberry was the lack of certain keys
    that I truly enjoy and need. I guess blackberry decided to just not implement them
    into the MIDlet canvas class?
    I mean they did a great job at figuring out how to map the entire qwerty keyboard, but when it comes to the Escape Key
    good luck!
    So after tearing my hair out I found a solution...which i'm guessing everyone else also found but i'm posting this
    cuz well..what if you're tearing your hair out right now...calm down take a deep breaths this is currently working on the BB 9000
    jde emulator.
    First of all I know this sucks but if you want to use that lovely escape key you're going to have to implement the BB KeyListener.
    I know WTF MAN!? "first i code the whole thing using keylistener/commandlistener now I gotta use some stupid BB KEYLISTENER!?...just who does blackberry think they are?"
    well heres the thing, I tore my hair out for like 12 hours straight trying to get around this...but after giving it a rest it's not such a big deal.
    Steps
    1) you have to grab the blackberry net_rim_api, and add it to your wireless toolkit.
    the path is:
    C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.6.0\lib\net_rim_api.jar
    what I did was copied the file and pasted it into
    C:\WTK2.5.1\lib\ext
    once you have that inside your ext folder in your project settings you can enable the external package, this way you can build
    using the RIM API.
    in case you wanta take a glance at that headache it's : http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.5.0api/index.html
    to enable it simply open up wtk, go to project/settings/External API's and check it off...take note that the wtk 2.5 generally comes with
    Nokia SNAP Mobile API so i'm guessing it's a normal thing to do with MIDlets. Also if you check off Bundle..that's not too good it includes the API
    with your package...which is really only helpful if you're trying to include some of that junk which really isn't necessary as the reason we're doing this in the first
    place is cuz blackberry wanted to be cool and have their own proprietary keys....
    Anyways check that off and continue to step 2.
    Implementing Key Listener with the Canvas Class! :-)
    2) This part is so easy...
    import java.io.*;
    import javax.microedition.lcdui.*;
    import javax.microedition.midlet.*;
    import net.rim.device.api.system.*;
    public class myCanvas extends Canvas implements CommandListener,KeyListener{
    String thekey = "no key pressed yet";
      public myCanvas() {
    Application.getApplication().addKeyListener(this);
    public void paint(Graphics g){
    g.setColor(255,255,255);
    g.fillRect(0,0,500,500);
    g.setColor(0,0,0);
    g.drawString(thekey,0,0,Graphics.TOP|Graphics.LEFT);
    public boolean keyDown(int keycode, int time)
                    thekey = String.valueOf(keycode);
                    repaint();
                return false;
            public boolean keyRepeat(int keycode, int time)
                 return false;
            public boolean keyStatus(int keycode, int time)
                  return false;
            public boolean keyUp(int keycode, int time)
                   return false;
      public boolean keyChar(char key, int status, int time) {
          if (key == Characters.ESCAPE)
             return false;
    public void commandAction(Command c, Displayable s)
      ///YOU DON'T NEED THIS! I just left it here, in case you wanted to also use the blackberry menu to do stuff...in this case
    //well the command is shown...and it calls the run method of the class you add the command to. My previous example
    // used the command GO, and i made a private class...so this would cause the run method to execute when the user hits enter on go.
         // if ( c instanceof Runnable )
              //  ((Runnable)c).run();
    }i'm gonne be honest with you, the function public boolean keyChar()
    I don't know if that actually works...I just don't want to recompile without it cuz I just got over this headache..so I left it there.
    According to most people you use that to check if the key == Characters.ESCAPE and if it does then you do some stuff.
    Also you don't need the command listener, I just left it in there because well..if you're like me and you use the blackberry menu, you're pretty much
    going to use the CommandListener on your canvas to check to see if the user hit enter on a menu item.
    The function that matters here, is the same function Midlet coders are used to.
    instead of keyPressed it's simply keyDown
    so basically you're importing the package
    import net.rim.device.api.system.*;
    which allows you to implement blackberry's keyListener which gives you access to all the keys vs. a limited amount of them.
    now blackberry went all out as you can see. You have to have keyDown, keyUp, keyRepeated...it's kinda rediculous.
    but no worries, as long as you make sure that Display.setCurrent(yourcanvas);
    or you use one of those to give the canvas control...you'll be fine.
    It works because in the method for creating myCanvas()
    or whatever canvas you'll be using, it calls Application.getApplication.addKeyListener(this);
    and that little command gives your canvas the ability to listen for blackberry keys such as escape.
    the current code will start displaying the keycodes for each key...and apparently keys such as ESCAPE
    can be labeled properly. I love this because I can map the hang up call key to destroy my midlet, or even the escape key.
    Unfortunately every keycode displayed is in like unicode or some stupid format, so that's my guess as to why the Escape key is not detected by the normal
    canvas keyPressed method.
    Anyways you're done this should work...now if you're having trouble using canvas and you're like "but I don't use canvas" idk man...
    I use canvas...cuz I think programs should look cool. I'm sure this works without the canvas...on a form or something.
    But don't be fooled, you're not limited to KeyListener, you can also use TrackWheelEvent and all kinds of stuff. So just like the choices for CommandListener vs. keyPressed
    Blackberry has other choices as well.
    And they said merging the API's was a bad idea...shucks, how else are we supposed to use the freaking escape key.
    --JavaLover53
    P.S. I marked this as a question cuz I want people to really take a look at this. Make some comments, I love this forum
    and I really feel that this topic is not covered on the internet. A lot of naysayers, and when I found the solution I was like "that's it"
    "that's all I had to do?" "well then wheres the freaking tutorial!
    seriously people had me thinking I had to extend the blackberry UI when this is all I had to do..such an easy task
    that other people claim is ridiculously hard.
    Go ahead make your comments, lemme know if you know something I don't, i'm here to learn! :-)

    good writeup, however i found this only working when you're not running fullscreen

  • Error message in DTW when choosing any document business object

    Hi,
    We have an issue uploading AR Invoices, Credit Notes etc. with DTW.
    We have installed DI-APIs and DTW on a server, which does not have SBO installed. DI-API was installed by copying and running the installation files from a server with SBO 2005 (680320) installed. This is the same server that we are connecting to in DTW. DTW was also installed by copying the setup.exe file for SBO2005 SP01 from another place.
    All business objects work fine (Chart of Accounts, Business Partners, Items etc.) except for all document objects (Credit notes, Invoices etc.). The following error message is received:
    "Runtime error!
    C:\program files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\DTW.exe
    abnormal program termination"
    We also tried with another data migration program called xFusion Studio. But also here documents upload generates an error message:
    "An exception was thrown by target of an invocation"
    Do you know if this is due to a problem with the DI-APIs?
    Could the problem be related to the fact that SBO is not installed on the server? Anything else?
    Very thankful for help.
    Tobias.

    If the issue was due to SBO not installed on Server then none of the templates should have worked. But you seem to have COA and BP working.
    How sure are you that your templates are fine.
    If possible could you comment here about the columns of your template that have data.

  • Feature GUID for list template 10113 is not installed in the farm

    I'm just using a trial of a migration product called Sharegate and it has produced the following error when i connect it to my farm "Feature GUID for list template 10113 is not installed in the farm"
    I've used the missing feature project from codeplex and the wssanalyzefeatures tool and none of them are reporting any issues or even for my guid.
    Could anyone provide any other tips to try and locate this via powershell or the sql database?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you got the “Feature GUID for list template 10113 is not installed in the farm” error.
    The reality is that the feature is installed but has the old feature ID.
    As a workaround, you can
    Go to the concerned feature in the 14 hives, you need to know which feature is concerned with that functionality.
    Change the feature ID to the one raised in the error
    stsadm -o installfeature -name <Feature> -force
    In addition, you can change the ‘Scope’ attribute to either ‘Farm’ or ‘Site’ or ‘Web’ or ‘WebApplication’.
