Not able to Populate Qualified Table in Import Manager

Hi,
I am performing following steps for populating Bank Detail Qualified table in MDM from R3 but not able to populate the data.
1.Populating all lookup tables like Account_no,Bank-Key.......
2.Mapping all fields in Bank detail table except the 'Collect Auth'
field which is Qualifier
3.In Customer table(Main) mapping Collect auth to Bank Detail field and
customer_no to its corresponding ID.
It is not populating the Bank detail data which are available in lookup tables

Matching will be based on the Display field (at least one) of the Main table. This is for example the Customer Number.
You also need to map all the display fields of the qualified lookup table. Then you can set the Qualified Update Action by right clicking on the field in the main that is linked to the qualified lookup.(the Collection_Authorization I think). Set the option that well update/append/replace the qualified data fields of the looked table.

Hi Experts
I have extracted Customer data from R/3 ECC, I could successfully loaded reference data, but when trying to load Main table data (Using DEBMDM06 MAP) I am getting mapping issues with Qualified table (Sales Data and Bank Details).
Error Messages
Map 'Sales Data' field to import qualifier(s)
Map 'Bank Detals' field to import qualifier(s)
I have checked and found that all the field and value mapping is in place, If i remove mapping for the qualified table fields then the data is ready to import.
What is the issue, and how do I import Qualified Table data.
Appreciate your inputs

Not able to populate data in the combo box

Hi Guys,
I m new to flex development and I want to populate the data
coming from the databasein the combobox.I am able to get the length
.but not able to populate the data.
Can anyone helpme out?

[object],[object] etc.I m sure that the data is coming from the
database and its not populated in the combo box.any help is

I am not able to create ADF Table or ADF Read-only Table

Ans:Yes with one name with faces-config.xml and antoher with different name

LMS 3.2 Not able to see devices in cs device management

Not able to see devices in CS device management (0 devices).but devices are visible in other modules like RME and DFM.

The issue is resolved.deleted those devices and readded it worked..
But am hitting with another issue am not able to add devices into DCR.after the finish device addition status summary
not shown.device also not shown in DCR.

Not able to populate a lookup table in Import Mgr

Hi,
Any tips why a lookup table after mapping not able to do 'match record' process
since not able to add the fields for match operation even they are enabaled/highlighted.
While mapping all the source data got successfully mapped with green dots.
There is an Auto_id field in that table.

Not able to create Distribution Model nor Import using IDX2

Hello,
I have created an RFC destination, and i'm able to connect successfully also remote logon is working with error, i have also created Port associated in RFC destination.
But when i try to added a message type in distribution model, i get an error rfc destination not maintained.
Same goes with Import of metadata, i not able to maintain an Port in IDX1, hence not able to import metadata.
If i import an Idoc or create an external defination will it help.
any help would be appreciated.

Not able to edit JCA Adapter, with import "SOA ARCHIVE INTO SOA PROJECT"

and once i import that SOA Project, with option SOA ARCHIEVE INTO SOA PROJECT, im not able to edit any of the JCA adapter inside the project.
I have tried by restarting my jdev

Hi,
I've never used that option, but I know that is normally used to do customization... If you have "import for customization" checked, it will only let you edit what's been set to customizable...

Not able to create a table with more than 64 fields in dictionary

Hi,
I have created a java dictionary in Netweaver Developer studio. I have to create a table with more than 64 fields in it. I was able to create the table in dictionary, but when i tried to build it, I am getting an error message as "more than 64 fields are not allowed". If i create the table with 64 fields or below 64 fields, i can build the dictionary and deploy it.
That is, when i create a table with more than 64 fieds, I am not able to compile the dictionary, But if i reduce the fields to 64 or below, i can compile the dictionary.
Kindly help me to solve the problem.

Sudheesh,as far as I am aware creating of fields in the table actually depends on the total width of table that can be used for various Vendors.
So I actually tried out creating a table with too many fields,and I am reproducing the errors which I have obtained -
Error Dictionary Generation: DB2:checkWidth TMP_1: total width of table (198198 bytes) greater than allowed maximum (32696 bytes) TMP_1.dtdbtable TestDictionary/src/packages
Error Dictionary Generation: DB4:Table TMP_1: fixed length: 198366 (32767). TMP_1.dtdbtable TestDictionary/src/packages
Error Dictionary Generation: DB6:checkWidth TMP_1: total width of table (297200) including row overhead is greater than the allowed maximum for 16K tablespaces . TMP_1.dtdbtable TestDictionary/src/packages
Error Dictionary Generation: MSSQL:checkWidth TMP_1: total width(198215) greater than allowed maximum (8060) TMP_1.dtdbtable TestDictionary/src/packages
Error Dictionary Generation: SAPDB:checkWidth TMP_1: total width(198297) greater than allowed maximum (8088) TMP_1.dtdbtable TestDictionary/src/packages
Error Dictionary Generation: Table TMP_1 is not generated TMP_1.dtdbtable TestDictionary/src/packages 
I hope you can understand what the errors state.I am trying to create a table whose total width(sum of width all columns) is greater than the maximum allowed for various Vendors,such as DB2,MSSQL,SAPDB etc.

Not able select SYS.DBA_IND_COLUMNS table.

I am not able to select the records from the table SYS.DBA_IND_COLUMNS in my procedure, it shows table or view does not exists. but i am able to select the same as a separate query (not in procedure).
Please help me out in this.

This is a standard oracle security functionality. You can select in a standalone query because you have been granted the privilege through a role, but roles are not active within procedures.
You need to have the privilege (probably select any dictionary) granted directly.

Creates new record in the Qualifier Table while importing.

Hi Guys,
When sending new bank details to MDM, then MDM creates a new record in the Bank Detail qualified lookup table. This is OK. But when sending exactly same bank details again to MDM, then MDM creates again a new record in the Bank Detail qualified lookup table. I would expect that it
first performs the Automap and only if it cannot find a value, it will add a new record!
Can you guys help me out from this?

Please check these configuration options of Import Manager
1. Default Qualified Update - The default setting for whether incoming source subrecords either are appended to, completely replace,or update the set of existing qualified links of a qualified lookup field when updating existing records.
2. Default Matching Qualifiers - The default setting for which qualifiers to use as matching qualifiers when matching existing qualified links when updating existing records.
Any operation on the qualified tables will depend on the above two options.

Not able to drop Temp tables in staging schema

Dear All,
I am facing some issue with the temporary tables in my interface; i am using ODI 11g,
Getting following error;
Message:
ODI-1228: Task FEED_NL_STEP_UPDATE_DATA_TO_XML_WS (Integration) fails on the target XML connection XML_DS_NL_LISTOFACTIVITY.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Code:
Drop Table: C$_ACTIVITY
I heard that there is some known bug in ODI with respect this error.
Please help me to find workaround for the same..

well,
When I check my staging schema where this table is supposed to be created, I see the table.

Force one unique record in a qualified table in data manager

Our main table is Customers. We have a qualified table that stores Company Code information. We need to ensure that each customer in the main table has only one record per company code in the Company Code qualifeid table.
Company ABC can be linked to Company Code 1, Company Code 2, Company 3 (three records in the Company Code qualified table)
Company ABC cannot be linked to Company Code 1, Company Code 2, Company 2 (three records in the Company Code qualified table where two are duplicates)
Company code is a the only Non-Qualifer field in the Company Code qualifeid table. I have set field as Unique in the console but i can still add duplicate records

Choosing Qualified table is wise option, when we really want to maintain possible duplicate data!
otherwise Normal Lookup table would be ideal option.
befor we proceed further, cud u pls explain me the unique factor to choose qualified in ur Business requirement?
