NOT function wrong behaviour

HI everyone,
I have been trying to get the opposite value of a binary channel using NOT function and i don't get the right values.
i'm extracting bits from a word with GetB
then i have to use CTNV to clean the NOVALUE data because of the malfunction of the GetB (already corrected for Diadem 2012 but not for my 10.2)
and at last i will like to get the invert value so: 0 will be 1 and 1 will be 0
These is the code that i'm using and the results:

i can correct with an offset but will be more time for process the data... and if is a malfunction like in GetB is important to correct too...
I'm doing something wrong or is a real malfunction ?

the problem here is the assumtion that true is equal 1.
This is not true. In VB true is -1 and in general there is only one real assumtion for bool true which is "true is not false".
MsgBox CInt(true)
==> -1
MsgBox CInt(false)
==> 0
So after changing your formula to
Call ChnCalculate("Ch(""[1]/CHFS Bit 0_a"")=NOT CBool((Ch(""[1]/CHFS Bit 0"")))")
Your results will go to 0 and -1 which is true and false.
But now your case. Why does NOT 1 result in -2.
Thats easy because its a logical operation to every single bit in the integer number
1 = 00000000000000000000000000000001
-2 = 11111111111111111111111111111110
You can validate this with the Programmer View of Microsfts calc.exe
NOT 1 also results in -2
So everything is working well. Even if its a little bit unexpected.
Call ChnCalculate("Ch(""[1]/CHFS Bit 0_a"")=Abs(NOT CBool((Ch(""[1]/CHFS Bit 0""))))")
Results in what you want.

I guess the first thing you now need to do is to get the latest drivers for your printer because as you say you uninstalled it from your machine and now reinstalled it again. I don't know why you thought printer should have been uninstall;led but anyway, please reinstall the driver and then see if it is recognized by your operating system and try scanning something as a test from outside the PSE13 before going back to PSE13 and trying to scan your real image.
Please post back so that Barbara or R_Kelly can help you as I don't use Apple Mac.

Ran network test report and received an Error message: Officejet Pro 8500 A909g (all in one) wireless radio not functioning.
the menu screen says its on and the blue light is on, but no connection.
Appears to be a hardware problem, any ideas.

I understand that your wireless radio is not working on your HP Officejet 8500. This could be a hardware issue if the wireless card has failed completely, but I would like you to try the HP Support document: Performing a Partial Reset of the All-in-One. If resetting the printer as the document gets you to do does not fix the issue, it would be recommended that you contacted HP technical support for repair options.

Drop Down Menu not functioning

I'm very VERY new to dreamweaver/fireworks but have been making small changes to multipul websites for a company. They have asked me to come up with a totally new design for their primary webpage and I'm having an issue with the drop-down menu.
I'm created the menu in fireworks using the hotspot tool and it "previews" just fine in both fireworks and dreamweaver. I went through the export process in fireworks and exported the hotspots/images and html code into my primary folder for the website. I pasted the html-code in the location that I wanted on the webpage.
When I upload the page and go to view it the drop-down-menu does not function properly. I have to add an <div> after my .jpg banner for the images of the dropdown to appear. Even then the pull-down-menu does not show up properly.
*Side note* the page also loads VERY SLOWLY now, not sure why. In an attempt to start over I access the "remote view" of the webpage through dreamweaver and deleted all but the "Admin" folder which it did not allow me to delete? Did I majorly mess something up here?

Firstly, the link to the imported stylesheet is wrong - it appears to be pointing to your hard drive: that needs to be fixed and if it relates to the menu, likely the reason why the menu isn't visible.

Are you working in a defined DW site? It's very important that you are - it's the way that DW keeps track of all the links and paths.

Next: Those FWs exported dropdowns are atrocious, there was a reason the functionality was removed from the latest FWs and DW.   Even though a CSS version is available, it may be ok to use for protyping for certainly not for live production sites.

There are much better ways to build a dropdown menu, one of them is the Spry Menu available in CS3 and CS4. They too, can cause issues, but at least the links throughout your site are inside the html code, not in the javascript.

Web Photo Gallery - Contact info not functional?

When I build a web gallery, using the Flash Gallery (default) in the 'Template Browser', no matter what info I put in the 'Contact info' and 'Web or Mail link' boxes (under Site Info), it does not work.
Example, under 'Contact info' I put the word 'Contact'....in the 'Web or Mail Link' I put 'mailto: [email protected] (I have not put my actual email here for purposes of this forum, and yes my email address is valid and will both send and receive in Outlook).
So anyways, when I upload the new web gallery using Dreamweaver CS3, or if I just simply preview it using the 'Preview in Browser' button, well the word 'Contact' appears in the upper right corner of the web page (photo gallery - as it should since that is what I put as word in the 'Contact info' box, but yet when I click on the word 'Contact' it it does nothing. Actually when I click on the word 'Contact' the first time, there is a line that appears below (as if to identify a link). But as I say it does nothing, opens no email window, nada! Except for when I click on the word 'Contact' subsequently, there is no more line underneath as if the link had become inactive???
I tried using another email address of mine, which is also shorter, but it does not work either....I also tried putting my main homepage address into the ''Web or Mail link' box and still nothing happens...it's as if the link is not functional...?
Has anybody else experienced this? Am I doing something wrong? Is it maybe just a Flash Gallery bug? (Because I have not tried using other type galleries i.e Blue Sky)

I have the exact same problem, step by step in Lightroom 2.4. I'm using Vista Ultimate SP2 and Internet Explorer 8.

Rpt-files do not function anymore after deploying to a different database

first: I use CR. 10.2.3600.0 and Asp.NET with Visual Studio 2005
I developed my reports against a Develepment-Database and everything worked fine.
Then, I published my Website with the reports.
Also I made a backup of my Develepment-Database to become the Productive-Database.
All pages of my website function well (database-queries etc.), but when I try to call one of my reports a queerish error message occurs:
"This field name is not known. Error in File C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\...\{...}.rpt: Error in formula. '{xyz.ds_id} = {?@ds_id} and '."
I mean, the database is the "same" as before?!?
(BTW: the logon to the database is set at runtime and is ok.)
Why do the reports not function anymore?
The only workaround I found is to open the report in Visual Studio 2005 again and select "Crystal Reports/Databases/Check Database" against the Productive-Database.
After that the report works! BUT THIS COULD NOT BE THE SOLUTION, this means that I cannot publish my website to a different database on a customers network!!!

I debugged the code and recognized that the error appears while setting the .Location property...?!?
My DatabaseName is "Rezepturverwaltung".
Example 1 with a command:
Befor setting the Location of mytable the value of the prpperty is e.g. "command".
After setting the value like in code above the value changes to "Rezepturverwaltung.dbo.command"
Example 2 with a stored procedure:
Befor setting the Location of mytable the value of the prpperty is e.g. "sp_GetData".
After setting the value like in code above the value changes to "Rezepturverwaltung.dbo.sp_GetData"
What`s going wrong furthermore???

Search with "Current Node + All Subfolders" not functioning correctly

We are having an issue with the search function of SCCM 2012 Admin Console. We have built multi-level folder structure to SCCM which matches our organizational unit structure in AD.
The issue occurs when trying to search with "Current Node + All Subfolders" option in a folder to get listing of all collections nested in the structure. As a result we get incomplete list of collections and majority of them are not showing
up. Sometimes the console even crashes when trying to do this kind of search. Note that this behaviour only occurs when searching inside a folder, not in the device collections root node.
We managed to trace the SQL query in the above situation from SMSProv.log, and it is as follows:

From this we noticed that not all ContainerNodeIDs are searched, but a list of only 8 ContainerNodeIDs. These ContainerNodeIDs remain the same if the search is done again in the same folder. The same behaviour repeats also in other folders with a different
list of ContainerNodeIDs.
For clarification I'll attach a picture which shows our folder structure with ContainerNodeIDs and ParentContainerIDs. We have also marked the containers which were present in SQL statement. From this you can clearly see there should have been far more ContainerNodeIDs
than listed in the SQL query. Is this a bug in the admin console or could this be a problem with our site database? Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? We have written a custom
powershell script that reads containers from SMS_ObjectContainerNode WMI-class recursively and is able to return complete list of folders and their subfolders, so we assume that our site database and WMI on site server is functioning correctly.
We noticed this on CU2 (could have been present also earlier) and updating to CU3 did not fix the problem. Currently we are running SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3 with one primary site. All components besides distribution point is running on the site server. Distrubution
point is running on a separate server. Our SQL server is running on the site server.

Sorry for the very long delay. I created the ticket in the autumn of last year and just received the final verdict to this issue.
Microsoft support said they were able to reproduce the problem and that they contacted the product group about this issue. It turns out that this behaviour is by design (wait, what?) and since it is by design there is nothing they
can/will do about it.
So the only choice is to request a tailored customization for SCCM2012, which probably in this case (as it is by design) would cost.
I feel a bit puzzled: how can it be by design if it clearly does not work?

My headphone are not functioning correct

Ok, recently i just found this forum and im glad to post my problem here. I am using SB Li've! 4., everything is working fine except my headphones. It's like only my Right side is working and my left side is not working when i plugged the plug into the GREEN output. I am using it for gaming and since only right side is working it really affect my game play and i have been changing from Surround speakers to Stereo Headphones but still only RIGHT side is working and left side is not working at all, i tried with my ear piece yet, only my right side is working and left side is not working. But if i pushed a little hard on my HEADPHONE's plug sometimes both side is working fine and if i let go of my finger it becomes right side working and left side not working. So what is the problem? My headphone and ear piece are new, yet both got same problems. Please help me.

I did use on other devices, the only one i used on is my computer. Is it something wrong with my soundcard, settings or what? I had the latest drivers, and some upgrading softwares on it and also i changed every settings I could see on the Sound settings and tested with different outputs and they are not even working at all. The only solution is sometimes i pressed very hard on the plug it only work awhile but then no more if i let go of it. I bought a new headphone a few hours ago and its the same still, and I go to Sound settings and change from Surround speakers to Stereo Headphones and then to Surround speakers and to Stereo Headphones again and again like 20-30 times repeatly and it worked fine. But after i rebooted my PC it became the same, One side can be heard and the other side is not functioning at all, I might need to switch repeatly again in Settings to make it work again.. so.. its really annoying and after sometime my headphone maybe will get affected by mass-mass-switching.. please help me thanks !

Wrong behaviours with TableCellRenderer

Hi.
I implemented my tablecellrenderer for dates. The problem is that the values of the column I rendered are not visually selected when I click on them.
Moreover:
when I click on a cell, sometimes it changes its content, according to the row I was selecting before.
if three rows have the same date value, all three are selected.
I tried using setOpaque (true) but this selected all the rows in that column.

You're right. I forgot using the code tags to format my class. Here is my situation:
I have a dinamic JTable to which I added a TableSorter. In the model I added object like BigDecimal, Strings and Timestamp and I created a TableCellRenderer for each type I can have inside the table. The wrong behaviours are those described in the previous post.
Any help?

I have a class which sets the request and header part and for this data control is created and hence works fine when worked by dragging to page.
Sample :

} ----------- this works fine.
But when I use setters in different class, that works through normal run(executingjava class). But not functioning when exposed as data control.

This doesnt function. I want to know the reason for not working, because by this only we can edit the validations of data control attributes , which is not possible in the earlier one.

I didn't clearly understand the question. If the question is , both Class1 and Class2 are exposed as data control and used in a page, and then you want to update Class2 properties from Class1 then the approach you took is wrong
You cannot instantiate data control instance of Class2 as you are trying, rather you may need to use binding API to set the value or to get hold of the instnace. See the code snippet given here http://biemond.blogspot.in/2009/03/some-handy-code-for-backing-beans-adf.html
If you have some method to initialize the properties and this method is added page def as method action ,then following will work

Flash swf from Flash CS4 not functioning in Director

I am building an app in Shockwave and am using a Flash swf as the navigation bar to change screens etc. I created the initial swf in Flash MX 2004 published for Flash 6.0 and Actionscript 2.0. This worked fine. I then needed to add some more screens and since I now have Flash CS4 Pro I decide to use this to make the changes published for Flash 6.0 and Actionscript 2.0. I created the changes, tested the movie, everything runs fine in Flash The published swf works fine when executes from the desktop. When I import into Director, the swf does not function. Is there some step that I am missing?
What am I doing wrong?

Well nothing is working, no rollover buttons , no changing screens, nada.
The Code worked when published with Flash MX 2004. I brought the file into
Flash CS4 Pro, made my additions, published. Tested the swf alone. But when
I import into Director MX version 9.0 it is not functioning.

Menubar shortcut not functional if focus is on string control

Dear All,
I am wondering if this is the expected behavior or if I am doing something wrong:
On a panel I have a string control; on double clicking I open a file select box to select a file, the file name then is displayed on this string control. After this action, this string control is the active control, indicated by the grey frame.
I also have a menu bar with some shortcut keys defined, such as F2. It appears that F2 is not functional as long as the focus is on the string control. This is inconvenient because a typical user action is selecting a file and then pressing Fx. To solve this problem the user needs to click somewhere on the panel to move the focus to another control. Of course this could be done programmatically, but this extra effort is not necessary say for ring controls or numeric controls. Also in numeric controls I can change the numbers, but even if a numeric control is the acitve control because of editing the value F2 immediately works.
Help is appreciated.

I just tried in a project of mine and had no problems in calling a menu function with its shortcut key while the focus is on a string control with a callback attached: maybe the problem lies in the string control callback, which is possibly trapping the keypress event before it is sent to the panel.
I tested both with "regular" shortcut keys (such as Ctrl + P) and with F2 only as the shortcat. My callback is not trapping EVENT_KEYPRESS event.
EDIT: I tried by swallowing keyboard presses with if (event == EVENT_KEYPRESS) return 1; but I am still able to operate on menus with shortcut keys. Seems the reason lies elsewhere: you can try progressively excluding parts of control callback and see when menus return responsive.

HCPL0631 is not functioning properly please help!!

I am trying to use the HCPL0631 optocoupler for my simulation. However, this optocoupler will not function properly and will not give me a good result.
I have attached the circuit diagram in the attachment, please let me know what is wrong with my circuit causing the components to fail.

Actually, never mind about that, the model for the HCPL0631 isn't very good. It doesn't actual have a open collector output. It also has a built in VCC of 5V, so the power supply that you are attaching isn't really being used. Your problem is grounding. Multisim constructs mesh current and node voltage equations for simulation and can't do it accurately if you don't specify the ground for your circuit.
Try adding a ground to the GND terminal of the optoisolator. You should also have a ground attached to the cathode of the optoisolator or neutral wire of the function generator. The GROUND component is in the Master Database in the Sources group and in the POWER_SOURCES family.

ICal invitations not functioning properly

My invitations in iCal are not functioning properly; perhaps it's something I'm doing wrong.
I have ticked all of the relevant boxes in both iCal and Mail to ensure that the invitations are automatically added to iCal. Here's the problem: According to the Apple instructions, you're supposed to tick on the invitation in iCal, then tick on the mail icon in the lower left corner to view your choices in the Notification area. That's supposed to allow you to accept, decline or tentatively accept an invitation. On my iCal, I don't see any of these options in the notification area. The odd thing is that if I retrieve the inviations via email through Entourage, all of these options are presented within the email itself, which doesn't happen in either Mail or Thunderbird. I prefer Mail and am looking forward to ridding my mac of Microsoft software, so I don't want to have to keep it hanging around just for that one item.
Could someone please point me in the right direction? I can certainly follow instructions, if given.

Yes indeed. See this thread - I have found a fix, but I am hoping once the engineers see this (Bug filed) that someone has an easier method, or a patch.
Something went wrong with the update in certain instances and it kills the Java plugin. Give this a shot - it takes a bit of time, but worthwhile.
