Note type not visible in Creation of Service Request

Hi there!
I am experiencing this OAF issue:
When creating a new Service Request there is a section "Problem Description" where we can see DFF, Summary and Notes.
The Notes region I can see is extended from another Region where there is the Notes Type and the actual Note to be entered (TextInput). But when creating a new Service Request I cannot see the Note Type messageChoice and don't know why. If I open the personalization page by clicking on "Personalise Page" link Ican see the Note Type item and it's visible according to the information but I still cannot see it. Is there any setup here that is used in the controller to hide the item? Is there something else happenning? Please, help.
//Patricia

Hi!
I discover that both Note Type and status are set to rendered=false in the controller. That's the answer. I have to check I customer needs to see those or if they can live with it as is. Question is why arethey invisible in Service Request entry?

  • Send email to upon creation of service request

    Hello Experts,
    I have a requirement wherein upon creation of a service request in Interaction Center, an email must
    be sent automatically to the responsible employee. In the functional specs it says that I need to create
    a mail form and this will be called using action profile. When I tested it the action definition goes into an error.
    From what I understand, we cannot call mail forms using processing type 'SMARTFORMS MAIL'. So my questions are listed below:
    1. If I stick with mail forms creation, how can I get the needed data example from the business object, etc.
    2. Are there any other way to do my requirement? Maybe mail forms is not needed and some configs just needs to be maintained.
    Thank you guys and have a nice day!

    Hi Viraylab,
    If you stick with send email with smartform then the config of action profile should be :
    object type name = BUS2000223
    context class = CL_CRM_SRQM_CONTEXT_PPF
    Create your own Action Definition, in the Processing Types of Action choose Smart Forms Mail
    Form Name = your form name
    Processing Class = CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
    Processing Method = CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
    Hope it's help,
    Lina

  • Creation of service request based on an event in ECC

    Hello,
    I want to create service request based on an event in ECC HR. For e.g. events can be employee leaving, Absence for longer period etc.
    Is there a standard way of doing this ? If so could you please let me know the process/steps.
    Regards

    Adding a BOL entity and binding it with the main parent node entity will give access to the main BOL. Using which, we can traverse to the required object using GET_RELATED_ENTITY and change the respective attributes.

  • Date Types not visible in CRM Service Request

    Dear Friends,
    I am implementing Service Requests in CRM 7.0 in our project
    I have configured the Date Types and assigned them to the Date profile
    The Date profile i have assigned it to the Transaction Type
    But when creating the new Service Request Transaction Type the dates are not appearing
    Can you help me by directing me to any missing config
    Regards,
    Raj

    Hi,
    check if you have set the screen assignments in the date profile. When you assign the date type, in the left navigation area, one level below, you have to set the visibility of the date type.

  • How do I set-up my Dataset to pull data for Service Requests for a report

    I am using SQL Server 2012 Report Builder 3.0.
    I have my Data Source added - DWDataMart
    I want to build my Dataset to query and find a very specific item. Basically I am creating a daily report that will show what each "team" or Support Group (AD Object) Closed that day. He also wants the ability to open it by date, so if he misses
    a day he can get it later.
    I am totally new to this report building and only got this far by following a guide on a blog, but he used incident Reports in his example, and I do not know what objects to query for service requests.
    Thanks for any information you can provide.

    First, you will need to get the support group ID's in the warehouse before you can run reports for them.  I found that putting these queries in their own stored procedure was a better path.
    select IR.IncidentTierQueuesId, IR.IncidentTierQueuesValue
    from dbo.IncidentTierQueues as IR
    where IR.IncidentTierQueuesId != 0
    select SR.ServiceRequestSupportGroupId, SR.ServiceRequestSupportGroupValue
    from dbo.ServiceRequestSupportGroup as SR
    where sr.ServiceRequestSupportGroupId != 0
    Enter the the support group ID's into your work item query.
    Incident information is in dbo.IncidentDim and Service Requests are found in dbo.ServiceRequestDim.  Both incidents and service requests link to relationship data through dbo.WorkItemDim.  You can INNER JOIN on BaseManagedEntityId to link the incident
    or service request to the workitem entry and from there to the Assigned Users, Affected Users, or Affected Configuration Items.  Each relationship has it's own separate fact views.
    If you poke about in the tables, you will find it pretty easy to pull back all sorts of information from the data warehouse.

  • How do I add a Voter to a Review Activity on a Service Request from an AD User Query on the Request Offering?

    I have the query set-up and it works fine, but I cannot map it to anything, I suppose because it is an object and not a simple string. I think I get the option to Map it to related items or configuration items in the Query itself maybe, I seem to remember
    seeing that, but I can not map it to anywhere on the Service Request or Activities in the Request Offering Set-Up.
    However, looking at my Update Object Activity in My Runbook, I do not see how to add a person to a review activity anyway.
    Can someone enlighten me?
    I do not know Powershell well enough to use it with SCSM or Orchestrator yet, and I am not even sure if we have SMLets so keep it simple if possible.
    Thanks for any assistance!

  • CRM Release 12 service requests and creation of notes

    Hi, is it possible to get an email notification for a service request (in CRM Release 12) that includes the Note texts?
    Thanks very much, Louise

    Hi Oliver,
    Don't know if I understand correctly the question, but if it helps, here's my opinion.
    Normally, we create every call of a call list associated with a document...  a contact/interaction record.
    So, for your scenario, I would try to create 'complaint' as follow-up document of that contact.
    Then the agent makes the call and:
    - If the customer don't answer or don't want to complaint, just close the contact with the respective reason
    - If want to answer and have a complaint, the agent create a follow-up document of complaint type, and fill with the respective information.
    Hope that helps you a little more.
    Kind regards,
    Garcia

  • Service Request - Transaction type not appearing in IC Webclient Pop-Up

    Hi,
    The service request transaction types SMRQ and YMRQ do not appear in the webclient pop up when i click on Create Service Request.
    All the other transaction types are working fine.
    I have checked the entries in --> SPRO--> Solution Manager --> Capabilities --> IT Service Management --> Transactions --> Specify several transaction Types.
    The entries are SERVICE_REQUEST_TYPE / Seq No 1 / Field Value YMRQ
    Please find attached the 2 snips of error message.
    Thanks,

    Hi Ritesh,
    Can you check,
    First with SAP all access so that we can rule out this
    second check if you have below setting in wizard or confirm in transaction type in SPRO i.e. channel CRM UI
    also these are active

  • Output Type not triggred at P.O creation but at Change

    Dear All,
    Iam experiencing a weird error inregards to defaulting of Output Type while P.O creation.
    Here is the breif background:
    1) We are maintaining Condition Table for a Custom Output Type with Key Combo - P-ORG/Doc.Type/Mat.Type/Plant
    2) This output should trigger while P.O creation to send an IDOC to a third party system
    3) All the necessary Profiles and partners are maintained for the Output type
    4) The condition does not default when I first create the P.O but defaults when I come back and do any change and save it.
    Has anybody experienced this before, this seems really weird to me, I tried finding Notes if any but could not.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Chand

    Go to SPRO-MM-Purchasing-Messages-Outptu control-message types-define message type for PO
    then select Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
    Here you have to maintain your output type with operation 1 which is for PO create and 2 is for change
    I am sure in your case the output type is maintained only for 2

  • Error of type Not a known DirStatus - WGM throws error upon user creation

    Dear MacWorld,
    i run a OS-X 10.5.8 Server as OD-Master, clean install on MacPro, no migration, all updates applied, everything fresh from scratch, but my 2md installation of OS-X-server. All standard checks accomplished (Kerbreros, DNS, LDAP, ... everything fine so far).
    Each time i add a user in WGM (run remotely via ARD) i receive the errormessage
    "Got unexpected error
    Error of type Not a known DirStatus (-1) on line 2112 of /SourceCache/WorkgroupManager/WorkgroupManager-319.2.2/Plugins/UserAccounts/Use rAdvancedPluginView.mm"
    Makes me feel uncomfortable, although the resulting accounts look healthy so far. Since this is the last check before the final roll out of my OD in my organization, i'd like to get rid of it now rather then troubleshoot the OD later.
    Any hints?
    Cheers,
    my first post here!

    You seem to have your targetEntity mixed up, the @OneToMany should be B.class and @ManyToOne should be A.class.

  • SSRS in SharePoint Mode: Reporting Services scale-out deployment is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services [not true]

    Hello,
    We are experiencing some issues with SharePoint 2013 which is driving me insane.
    We have a deployment with two SQL Servers (HA groups) and four SharePoint servers: 2 Application servers, and 2 Web FrontEnd servers.
    We installed SSRS for SharePoint in both application servers. The disc I have used is the MSDN image of SQL Enterprise 2012 w/ SP2.
    ISO name: en_sql_server_2012_enterprise_edition_with_service_pack_2_x64_dvd_4685849.iso
    MD5: 003e14c55fa648ad15f8be1e2439bd06
    The installation completes without any problems. We can start the SSRS SharePoint Service in the first application server without any issues. However when we try to start the second one, we get the following error:
    Reporting Services scale-out deployment is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. This edition only supports one instance of the sql reporting services service in the farm. The SQL Server Reporting Services cannot be started on
    this server unless it is stopped on all other servers in the farm.
    Now I am at a loss here. As I mentioned, we have used an image of SQL Server Enterprise. This is the same image we used on other environment, which worked as expected (we got no such error).
    I have included the text related to the correlation error from the SP logs below.
    Has anyone ever seen this issue before? Very, very strange!

    P.

    Hi Wynn,
    I appreciate your attempt to address my concerns, but even your reply seems to ignore the fact that I have not only provided the name of the ISO, but the MD5 checksum of the ISO as well. Also this is the first time I am being asked to double-check the version
    of SSRS. The first reply I got to my query simply disregarded the version mismatch.
    As per your request, I have checked under the folder you have specified (C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\WebServices\LogFiles), but unfortunately there are no files under this folder in neither of my two application
    servers.
    We only have logfiles under C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS
    Is there a way I can turn those logs on?
    In the meantime, we run the SQL Server Discovery tool and I have attached the summary for you to see that it finds the Enterprise Edition of SQL Server:

  • How to create a view for all Service Requests that are not approved by reviewer

    Hallo,
    I want to create a view in the Service Requests library that shows all SRs that are not approved. How to configure condition that says: if a SR has related Review Activity which is In Progress, show that SRs?
    I couldn't find this when creating the view. Thank you.

    So here's the first problem with that: Which review activity? a SR can contain multiple RAs, so how do we decide if an arbitrary SR is approved or not?
    As to the specific language you use (Any child RA is In Progress) you might want to look at the criteria from the default Change approval view, which does something similar:
    <QueryCriteria Adapter="omsdk://Adapters/Criteria" xmlns="http://tempuri.org/Criteria.xsd">
    <Criteria>
    <FreeformCriteria>
    <Freeform>
    <Criteria xmlns="http://Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Core.Criteria/">
    <Expression>
    <And>
    <Expression>
    <SimpleExpression>
    <ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Property>$Context/Path[Relationship='CoreActivity!System.WorkItemContainsActivity' TypeConstraint='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity.ReviewActivity']/Property[Type='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity']/Status$</Property>
    </ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Operator>Equal</Operator>
    <ValueExpressionRight>
    <Value>$MPElement[Name="CoreActivity!ActivityStatusEnum.Active"]$</Value>
    </ValueExpressionRight>
    </SimpleExpression>
    </Expression>
    <Expression>
    <SimpleExpression>
    <ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Property>$Context/Property[Type='CoreChange!System.WorkItem.ChangeRequest']/Status$</Property>
    </ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Operator>Equal</Operator>
    <ValueExpressionRight>
    <Value>$MPElement[Name="CoreChange!ChangeStatusEnum.InProgress"]$</Value>
    </ValueExpressionRight>
    </SimpleExpression>
    </Expression>
    </And>
    </Expression>
    </Criteria>
    </Freeform>
    </FreeformCriteria>
    </Criteria>
    </QueryCriteria>
    This is a simple AND criteria with two componets. one looking for a Review Activity (TypeConstraint='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity.ReviewActivity') which is related to the targetting CR by Contains Activity ($Context/Path[Relationship='CoreActivity!System.WorkItemContainsActivity';
    Context in this... context means the CR targeted by the view) where it's status (/Property[Type='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity']/Status$) is In Progress ($MPElement[Name="CoreActivity!ActivityStatusEnum.Active"]$). The other is filtering
    for the target change request's status ( $Context/Property[Type='CoreChange!System.WorkItem.ChangeRequest']/Status$) is In Progress ($MPElement[Name="CoreChange!ChangeStatusEnum.InProgress"]$).
    You could convert the second criteria to point to SRs and SR status values, and then use the similar text for the first criteria. i'd recommend
    Anton's Advanced View Editor (or
    the free version) to do the criteria adjustment.
