Notes get deleted when mailed

Hi,
I am seeing a problem with the notes app wherein when I mail the note (by hitting the mail icon at the bottom) it gets deleted. The note was mailed succesfully, but for some reason it disappeared on my notes list. Is anybody else seeing this?

Hello - I just posted a Q and am reading your answer here from a year ago. Maybe you can help me.
I Have a series of notes I've kept the last several years on various topics. I just added a topic To a note on iPhone 5 I have had running at least 3 yrs (my point is it's kinda important note). When I finished adding I was 1/2 paying attention and clicked the + at the top. That brought me to a blank page so I realized I clicked +. So, I clicked Done. That brought me to the menu of my notes - except the note I had added to was no longer there. DISAPPEARED. And, I am pretty sure I never clicked delete - but, like I said, I was 1/2 paying attention - however, if delete was clicked, it would have been after I clicked + and applicable (I guess) to that newly created + topic. But I really don't remember clicking delete.
Now I have gone thru all my note topics to see if the disappeared note may have been added somewhere but it's not there. I then got the bright idea to turn on my iPad and look at Notes and sure enough the disappeared note is gone from there also.
DO you have any ideas?? Or is this note gone forever? :-(

Place that first folder of photos that you synced to the iPad within the main folder of photos that you sync from and select them to sync again. You can place any number of subfolders within the main folder that you sync from and select those folders to sync. Just "tick"(select) the folders in the photos tab in iTunes.

Contents of some mails get deleted when mails are forwarded

TID 7001756 FLATFWD causes the contents of the mail to be deleted
The combination of Flat Forward , Global Signature , HTML only Message , Original Message "Forwarded as Attachment" without typing anything in the body causes the mail contents to be deleted. If any of the above condition is not true, then the message contents are not deleted.
It seems that this behavior comes back in GW 2012 SP2, with a modification: Forwarded as attachment works, simple forward does not works.

I gave up on this (flatfwd, etc) because of this issue and now use
Delegate to forward mail - so far so good

Cookies do not get deleted / re-appear within seconds if I delete them manually and yes I've checked every single support page about this and it didn't help

– I have the most recent version of Firefox.
– I have my settings in Preferences -> Privacy on "Keep third party cookies until I close Firefox".
– I've checked "Clear history when Firefox closes" and have ticked every single box under settings (except saved passwords).
– But still, Cookies do not get deleted when I close Firefox – there are hundreds of cookies every time I open it.
– If I go to Tools -> Clear recent history, choose "everything" and tick every single box, history etc. get deleted but the cookies remain.
– If I go to Preferences -> Privacy and click "Show Cookies" and then click "Remove all cookies" twice, the cookies disappear, but they're back just seconds later.
– I've even tried going to Preferences, clicking on Exceptions and manually adding some of the websites that showed up under "show cookies" and blocking them and then deleting the cookies, but still they re-appeared within seconds, and the exceptions were blank again.
– I've checked all your support pages about this topic.

You can't remove opt-cookies that are added by an extension unless you disable or uninstall that extension, so you can disable the do not track extension as a test to see if that allows to remove the cookies.

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Mails are not getting deleted from server

I am reading a mail from using java mail from my mail server.
When i am setting the message.setFlag(Flag.DETELED,true);
the mail is not getting deleted from the server.
I am not able to trace the problem, please help me solving this problem. It's a bit urgent.

Exchange mail account not getting deleted - Iphone froze

Exchange mail account is not getting deleted if i try it and
it frozes the iphone.
Switch off the phone and restarting doesn't help
Same thing happens when you try to change contact off in exchange mail properties.
I have 3G iphone with firmware 2.1

I have the same or a similar problem - after my update to the firmware on friday, i have intermittent ability to download email.
i have 4 accounts on my phone - a mobile me account, 2 accounts through Cox servers, and my exchange account. I was able to download from all accounts just once after updating the firmware 3 days ago.
The Cox accounts are the only ones that work - and only sometimes. outbound emails become phantom emails and go nowhere.
I lost the domain information in my exchange account. when i go in to update it, it freezes and won't save the new domain or let me leave the settings screen unless I hit the home or sleep/wake buttons.
i tried deleting the exchange account to recreate it, but it freezes on that.
I lost my calendar entirely.
i had to resync my contacts.
this is worse (much worse) than before the firmware fixes.

Workitem not getting deleted from SAP inbox

Hi ,
I have a scenario in workflows , in which when a user creates a timesheet , a mail goes to approver , when the timesheet is approved the mail should get automatically deleted .
We have created a standard task for this purpose ( a copy of TS31000007) .
The business Object is CATS , terminating event is COMPLETED , method is APPROVE . There is no triggereing event a FM is being used .
The standard task is copied in two test environments , from first system the mail gets automatically deleted , but from the second one it is not getting deleted .
Also the workflow log in SWEL doesnt show any rows in the second system .
In the first system , there are 4 steps in the workflow log :
Dialog work item created
Background process started
terminating event received
work item processing complete
Though the workitem has deleted , but the status of the workflow is in Progress
while the second has only two steps in workflow log
Dialog work item created
Background process started
and the workflow status is "Ready"
I guess the terminating event in the second case is not getting received .
but ,I have checked sweinst and found that the instance linkage is activated .
Also when the workitem is approved , it does not get delete , and if we try to re execute it again , the gives a msg " NO data found "
Can someone help me to find why the mail is stuck in the inbox and correct this problem.

Unless and until the Terminating event is triggered the workitem will not disappear. Check how the Event is getting triggered in other system. I feel it is getting triggered by standard means. Check whether there is proper settings in SWEHR3.
It means that you are not doing any special configuration for event triggering or coding. Please check what is missing in the system you are having problem. Check SWU3 setting is fine or not.

Email delete on computer (Exchange) not getting deleted on iPhone 5s

Using a Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display and OSX 10.9 (Mavericks), when I delete or move an email on the computer it's not getting deleted or moved on the iPhone 5s (IOS 7). I upgraded to iPhone 5s yesterday from iPhone 4 (IOS 6). (The mail was working properly on the old phone.) I looked for, but didn't find anything in "Settings" to fix the problem.
Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, my boss has a similar problem.
When he deletes email on his iPhone it re-appears after a couple of seconds. That is the iPhone is not really deleting email from the Exchange Server.
Here's the rub. We just got him a new iMAC and he's running Fusion so that he can get to his Outlook "Notes", which Entourage doesn't support.
So...he has Entourage open on the iMAC and Outlook open in Fusion.
If Entourage is closed down and he deletes email from the iPhone, it IS deleted from Outlook/Exchange and doesn't reappear.
However, if Entourage is OPEN, regardless of whether Outlook is open or not, the mail is NOT deleted from Entourage, causing it to reappear on the iPhone.
Obviously the solution is not to use Entourage so I guess that's what we'll have to do until we can do a complete conversion to Apple and use Apple Mail on OSX. Alternatively I'm exploring using Google mail instead of Exchange.
I'm afraid there isn't a good solution to this problem?

Message log is not getting deleted in WEBUI (BADI ORDER_SAVE)

Hi,
I am displaying an error message based on certain conditions in BADI: ORDER_SAVE (CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE). On getting error, I am correcting that error.
Using CRM_MESSAGE_DELETE, I am deleting error message before displaying new error message. However, my error log is not going away. It is still displaying in the log in WEBUI.
Could you please help me out, how can I delete error message, and error log from WEBUI.

   I have use folleing code to display message in web ui:
      if (conditions).
      CV_OWN_MESSAGE = 'X'.
      MESSAGE '商机描述已经存在，请修改后再保存！' type 'E' RAISING DO_NOT_SAVE .
    endif.
but when i have edit the description , the Message log is not getting deleted in WEBUI .

Not getting all my mail

I have an Imac and an Ipad WIFI and use a Time machine base station WIFI. I also have two email accounts, both on the same ISP. The Imac is not turned on most of the time and I use the Ipad for most of my daily computing. The problem is the Ipad is not getting all my mail messages from the server. Whenever I start up my IMAC, I get more messages that the Ipad received. I have done a full reset on the Ipad, but as yet can't fix the problem.
Any ideas??

Very long shot - which might have something to do with it. The downloads are set to 25, and I don't refresh the load button. However, that is only part of the answer I think. This morning, I sent out two email messages to a group, of which I am on the list, and one my Ipad I received only one. Alos, one of the things that happens is that my wife is the other account. And we belong to a community which has a server which bounces email to all members of the community, when we send the server an email. Quite ofen, one of us will get the mail, but not the other, and it is not consistent as to who gets the email.

Open TRs not getting deleted after TECO production order

Hi,
We're having an issue. We're using WMPP interface to supply the production line for the production orders. The auto TRs are generated when the production orders are released.
After TECO the production orders, the open TRs are not getting deleted automatically.
Could anyone know if these TRs get deleted automatically when we do the TECO production order?
If yes, do we have any restriction or condition based on this, the TRs get deleted?
Please explain.

The auto TR creation is happening now as required. No issue on this.
When you do the TECO, it also cancels the TRs. I tested this also.
There're some scenario this open TRs cancellation is not happening. I do not know when these open TRs are not cancelled. If you know answer for this, please let me know.

Events in ical on my macbook get deleted when I sync w/my iphone5.

Been having problems getting ical events to merge between iphone5 and macbook. After some suggestions from the community, I discovered I have no icloud in ical system preferences, and events scheduled in ical on macbook gets deleted when syncing to my iphone5. Getting frustrated.

You probably have your iPhone set up to clear out old events. My guess is that the events that are being deleted have already occurred.
Check Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Sync, and make sure the events you want to keep are preserved.

No Mail. I can not get or send mail from my iPhone,iCloud, or mail on the desktop. Password is correct i can get into iCloud but not able to get mail.

I can not get or send mail from my iPhone, iCloud, and desktop mail. All are the same account, password is right and working. When the problem first happened I updated to a new password.
The Mail and the phone are telling me ( "The iCloud IMAP server “p99-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user “k****n******2”}
From the iCloud account i get a message saying mail could not be loaded and the details. Which i have copyed below.
Any thoughts or anyone I can ring ? This was a paid for mobile me account.

Spent at least 40 min talking to apple support, to sort it out. luckly not at my cost. After trying lots of things and speaking to a higher grade support person I was given a temp password which did the trick. I then was able to reset that with my own password.
The impression i got was no one knowns what the problem is and resetting the password at the apple end works. Not sure if you would be able to self fix.

Release PR Should not get deleted in md51,planning mode 3

Hi all,
We are facing a problem in MRP run taken through transaction code MD51. This Problem (as explained below) will occur when MRP control parameter for Planning Mode will be set to u20183u2019 (Delete and recreate planning data).
During normal course, if MRP control parameter for Planning mode is set to u20183u2019, system deletes all open PR & Planned orders & creates new PR & new planned orders.
But in our business scenario, where we have release strategy for MRP generated PR, even these released PR get deleted. This results in re-analysis & releasing of MRP generated PR which itself is a tedious & time consuming task.
We are looking for a solution where PR will not get deleted during MRP.

Hi,
The planing time fence is maintained in MRP-1 view of the material in workdays. You can also have this defined in the MRP group. But the value in material master takes precedence over MRP group.
Use - It is a kind of safety fence which is used to protect any automatic changes to take place for firm order proposals during MRP run.
Depends on - Firming indicator needs to be maintained for the MRP type. This can be set in customizing for the MRP Type. This basically specifies how you want to firm the order proposals. Please note there are 5 types of firming
The SAP help for firming type reads as below:
firming type 0
The system does not firm procurement proposals automatically.
firming type 1
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are firmed automatically, as soon as their date lies at least one day before the end date of the planning time fence. The date of new procurement proposals that are created in the planning time fence is displaced to the end of the planning time fence. These new procurement proposals are not firmed.
firming type 2
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are firmed automatically, as soon as their date lies at least one day before the end date of the planning time fence. The system does not create any new procurement proposals within the planning time fence; that means, the system does not balance the shortage situation in the planning time fence.
firming type 3
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are not firmed automatically by the system. All procurement proposals that are necessary for requirements coverage are displaced to the end of the planning time fence.
firming type 4
Procurement proposals that move into the planning time fence are not firmed automatically by the system. The system does not create any new procurement proposals within the planning time fence; that means, the system does not balance the shortage situation in the planning time fence.

Not getting notification e-mail in case of time based publication

Hi,
We are working with subscription service.
We have one document subscribed by some users.
Users are getting notification mail whenever there is any modification in that particular document.
But when I am setting the lifetime property of the document.
Users are not getting notification e-mail when that document get published or get expired.
We checked in the Subscription Service.In the Allowed Admin Notification field we have to mention the proper event.
But we don't know which event name to mention.
It will be very helpful if any one let me know about it.
We are using EP 7.0.

From the official documentation http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/e8/a9a76828b8dc469969ff450ec81ced/content.htm this definitely should work out of the box.
Anyhow, what kind of subscription do you have chosen, immediate subscription or regular (daily, weekly, ...)?! If you are talking about an immediate subscription, try to alter this to a regular subscription. Maybe the change event which triggeres immediate subscriptions isn't thrown correctly by the TBP.
But even in this case, please open an OSS message, as this should be considered as a bug (or at least as a lack of documentation on help.sap.com).
