Notifications in Formscentral

Not getting email notifications sent to my email address specified in Formscentral. When originally tested it, it worked. The next day I reliazed I was not getting notification form people submitting. Any ideas?

Hi deang,
Is it possible that those notifications are going to your Spam or Junk folder? Have you double-checked the Email Notifications settings for your form(s)?
You may also want to check this thread, to see if it hits the mark: I am not receiving notification emails....
Best,
Sara

  • Is there a way to send an email notification from FormsCentral based on a specific response?

For example, on my form I have a rating scale of 1-5.  I would like to set it so an email is sent only if the rating is a 1, 2, or 3.  Is that possible?

We currently do not support that level of control for sending email notifications. If you think others are interested in this you should add an idea here: http://forums.adobe.com/community/formscentral?view=idea
We use that to help us prioritize our work.

  • Changes in Email Notifications

Original notification heading was "Adobe Forms Central Notifications"
Then subsequent to 8/28/13 the headings changed to "Forms Central Notifications"
Then subsequent to 9/6/13 the heading now is the email address of the party completing the form.
Did we inadvertantly change some setting or was this done by Adobe?
If the latter, is there some way we can revert to the original notification heading as above.  It is easier for us to group Forms Central related notifications if the headings are the same.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
Yes, currently the email notifications is from Forms Central Notifications.  And this is a changed on Adobe FormsCentral side.
You could revert to FormsCentral Notification heading (this is, your email notification From:
    FormsCentral Notifications <[email protected]>)
select Options/Email Receipts and disable it (uncheck the "Send a receipt to the submitter on submission)
go back to Options/Email Notifications and in the "From:" drop down, click it and select "FormsCentral Notification"
If you need Email Receipts and also Email Notifications enabled then your Email notifications heading will be from the email address of the party completing the form.
Also, you could group your emails by email subject, the email subject is <form-name>: Response Received, if grouping by From: heading does not work well for you.
    Thanks,
    Lucia

  • How can I have an email notification sent to me (it's already sent to the submitter of the form)?

I've created a form and have allowed the "email submission receipt" so an email is sent out to the submitter confirming that the person filled out the form. Is there any way to have that same email sent to me?
I tried the option of using "Email Notifications", but it says my email address isn't verified. I am a collaborator instead of the author and can't change the author's email address to mine.
    Help!
    Thanks.
    Karen

I want to add to my last reply as this is a bit confusing.
You say you are NOT the author of the form. What are your rights to the form? Are you a co-author, contributor or reader? Author and Co-authors can turn the feature on and off. Contributors and Readers don't have the rights to do so.
You say : "I am a collaborator instead of the author and can't change the author's email address to mine". What do you mean? Is it disabled (greyed out)? If the feature is turned on (check box "Send email notifications when submissions are received" is checked) then you should be able to add yourself to the "To" field.
Note that to receive notifications to a specific email address that email address needs to be a FormsCentral account (it can be a free account). If it isn't then make sure you create an account for that email address, accept the TOU and then confirm the email address after receiving the email from FormsCentral. Only after those steps are done will you be able to receive email notifications. We can only send notification to FormsCentral accounts so that the user can opt-in/otp-out of the notifications emails.

  • Can the form attachment files be included in the notification e-mail?

Can the form attachment files be included in the notification e-mail?
    Best regards

    Hi,
Currently the attachment cannot be sent with email notifications in FormsCentral. You may submit feature request via http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-4233.

  • Can I create a form for a clients website? so they receive the submission.

I need to be able to create forms I can put onto clients websites, so they receive the submissions from their clients. Can this be done? - without them having access to the form authoring or design?

You will need to share the form with your clients so that they can opt-in to receive email notifications. Share the form to them as Reader so that they don't see the Design Tab nor the Distribute Tab. They will have access to a very limitted Options Tab (to turn on notifications), the View Responses Tab (to see the data) and the Summary Report Tab. Once they create their (free) account, confirm their email address and turn on notifications they won't have to log in FormsCentral again (unless they want to view the data) and will be receiving email notifications.
Note the FormsCentral will only sent email notification to FormsCentral subscribers who have access to the form. This is to make user people can opt-in and opt-out about all these emails that can be sent to their email account.
Instructions on how to share the form can be found here :

Do you still have this issue? You can turn off email notifications (under the Options Tab > Email Notifications in FormsCentral) if you do not wish to receive any email when a form is submitted
Or are you saying you want to receive the email but the format is bad? If this is the case do you mind forwarding one of the email to me ([email protected]).

  • Attachments listed in notifications, but not uploaded to FormsCentral

We have recently had a number of reponses submitted with attachments to our form.
Notifications go out informing us of the submission, and list the attachments (in 2 fields).
But when I go to FormsCentral to access the uploaded files, the fields are empty. No files.
This function HAS worked before, so wonder if we have changed some setting, or if something else is at work?
    Thanks
    Peter

I have just heard from the forms author that she can see all the attachments in FormsCentral, but as a Reader I cannot.
Is there a setting that would allow me as a reader to access the Attachments?

  • How do I do this. Users without FormsCentral accounts or accounts with unverified email addresses cannot receive email notifications. No notifications will be sent until the accounts are created and verified.

Moving this discussion to the FormsCentral forum.

  • Problem with FormsCentral Email Notifications

We have not been receiving Email Notifications on submitted forms since February 16, 2015 even though there have been additions.  We have checked the mail server and it is fine and verified that the Option is set in FormsCentral.  FormsCentral does not seem to be sending these Notifications.

Our mistake!  A filter was bypassing our forwarder (! no idea how !) but the "missing" email was found in the sent folder (not used in years)

  • Branding on FormsCentral Notification

Is there any way that you can add your company's branding to the header of the notification that is sent from formscentral?
We have noticed that notifications as well as a return receipt once the form is submitted contains only Adobe branding (which is not a problem at all!) but we would like to add our logo to the notification to indicate that its an official form of our company.
We do have the header and graphics on the actual form that is completed, but from there it strips everything.
    Any ideas?

FormsCentral doesn't support this funcitonality currently. If you want to see it in the future, please add or vote your idea at

  • Help needed for Notifications

After compaing many prducts in the category I went with Forms Central because overall it looked like it had the potential to be the best, and I still think that, but I am now very dependent on it and need a few answers if possible.  First of all FormsCentral doesn't seem to show up on Adobe product lists when phoning in for help or in some on-line places.  Is FormsCentral considered an Adobe core product that they are committed to long term?  I've tied phone support 3 times now - and left a callback number and each time they call back and I jst get the recording with music on hold and have waited over an hour each time and still have not had anyone pick up the phone.
But specific questions related to the product:
    1.  Why can I not have notifications go to an e-mail other than the one registered on the account.   For confirmations you can specify a co-author's email for the reply to field, but why not the same for notifications back to the form owner.  And how can you specify not to use a reply-to addresss at all?
    2.   What kind of backup does Adobe offer on forms and their data in the event of some disaster on the form owner's part.  Is there a way to retrieve the forms and data from a prior date if need be?
    3. When publishing a response results table to a web addreee, how can I put a pssword on it to be required to open it?  I know it has a very unique address and not likely to be seen accidentally by anyone but I have a client who insists on that befoer he will use it.
    4.  A unique ID field option would be nice
    5.  A hidden field on the form results that captures the form filler's IP address would really help too.
Overall though great product and if you can keep the enhancements coming this product will be tops.
    Many thanks.

We apologize for the poor experience you had with our call-in support. We are definitely committed to FormsCentral. If you ever have any questions do not hesitate to post them on this forum or send an email to [email protected] Both I and the entire product team monitor the forum and that email alias. We are here to help you... your feedback also helps us to build a better product.
    Regarding your questions:
I wrote up a FAQ on how others can receive e-mail notifications. You can read it here: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1424I'm not sure what you mean by this "And how can you specify not to use a reply-to addresses at all?" E-mail notifications only have a no-reply address and submission receipts have an option to turn it off.
The form file has a history. Click the clock in the lower right corner to see it. You can roll back to an earlier version. If you are really worried about data loss you should also save the data out as an Excel file on occasion.
There is no way to put a password on a published form file. You should just share the form file with him and make him a Reader. He would need a username and password to access it and he would see the same thing as the published file.
Good feedback. If you haven't already, you should vote on that in the idea section - someone else has already asked for this feature. This helps us to prioritize.
Why do you need to know the IP address?
    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Email notifications not being received

Email notifications are not being received every time a customers submits data. We stopped receiving notifications after the email came about shutting down the service. We have a half dozen forms live on the web and none of them are sending out notifications. One example is located at Online Complaint | ORCAA. Nothing has changed from the backend and both email addresses that should receive notifications are verified.
I submitted data to the form and received a notification, but not the 2 email addresses that are listed on the FormsCentral backend. The Adobe domain is whitelisted with GApps.
    Thoughts?

I've tested your form a bit and it seems that email receipts are working. For me to test email notifications I would need to be a co-author. If you can add me to one of the problem forms I will investigate further and let you know what I find.

  • Can I send a PDF with the email notification?

I paid for the $0.99 basic subscription to try out FormsCentral since there is no free trial.  My organization would like to have the completed PDFs included in the Notifications, and I can't seem to find a way to do that.  Is this possible?

    Hi Anubha,
    Thanks for your reply.
I tried sending myself a pdf document with comments from one email account and I sent it to another email account. I still get the same problem. I basically receive a pdf document with no comments.
    Am I doing something wrong?

  • ...notifications are a paid only feature, they are not available with a free account...

    Hi Support-Team,
is there a chance to change this:
"... notifications are a paid only feature, they are not available with a free account ..."
If we can't send a notification to an other user FormsCentral doesn't make sence and will cancel the account... That would be a pity, because otherwise everything would work very well.
    Kind regards
    Andreas

    Hi;
Thanks for your feedback, but notifications are a paid feature and are not available in a free account.  That isn't likely to change.  Hopefully there is enough value in this and the other features of a paid account for you to consider an upgrade.
    Thanks,
    Josh
