[OC4J 10.1.2] Local debug of a j2ee app does not work

Dear users, I'm developing a project using Jdeveloper 10.1.2 and deploying on local oc4j instance ( running at port localhost:9700 ) and usually I deploy using ant target, and everything works fine.
But when I try to Run my project directly trought the Jdeveloper "run" button , I get the following exception :

I solved the problem. The original download was the "j2ee and web cache" download from the Application Server area. I later found a link to oc4j downloads from the JDeveloper pages that was really what I was after.

1.Define Service Desk destination in the R/3 systems:
Note: for this you need to log in the R/3 system.
Create the RFC between the Solution manager and R/3 system (Login to the R/3 system)
2.a. Go to transaction SM30.
b. In table/view field, enter BCOS_CUST. Then press the Maintain Button. See example below:
c. Press the Continue button in the following screen:
d. You should see the following screen, no entries should be seen in the table. Press the New Entries button:

Why does syncing iCal need Safari Safe Browsing Data? How can I turn this off?

"Safari Downloading Safe Browsing Data" is just some data that is synce with the computer. To turn off on the Mac go to System Preferencs>iCloud and turn off Safari

WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT does not work on local drive

Hi.
I have used WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT in the past. I have a situation where I can do the following web.show_document('file://p:\some-directory\foo.txt'). However, as soon as I try to read something off my local hard drive web.show_document('file://c:\some-directory\foo.txt') it does not work. This is very frustrating. There is nothing special security wise and the path and file names are correct. If it works for one, it should work for the other.

Why whenn I go to local files in Muse Export it does not load the pages in my browser?

I was testing and tried to winzip the files to upload to a site (blackboard) but when I tested to view them straight from local files is not uploading in browser properly?

Morgan, I know the files need to be untouched for an FTP upload, but this is not for an FTP upload. Blackboard it is an educational CMS to upload info for courses and it does strips the data. In order to create an interactive element to a module I can upload an HTML file to be 'living' in their host as a page and in that way it is possible to be interactive.
Sachin, I I'd export them as HTML and I have been working with them in muse, dreamweaver and embedding edible edge animate CSS and it runs well in catalyst but when I click in the local files( muse export file) it does not open well on the browser. All design is gone and only basic HTML.
Any thoughts?

Dbx does not work when debugging g++ exes.

We are just getting started building our application on redhat el5 with sunstudio 12.
We are compiling and linking our app with gcc 4.1 as we need to be able to link against some 3rd party libraries build on rhel4 that we do not have source for.
We now can compile and link fine but dbx does not work when it is fed the executable.
We get the error
dbx: warning: Bad transition in runtime linker interface. CONSISTENT->CONSISTENT[
and dbx freezes.
Note : This is built with -m32 on a 64bit kernel. Also we have not yet rebuilt all the opensource libs used on gcc 4.1 as we have a large number of them.
Any ideas ?

Well, this message is just a warning and should not prevent dbx from working. What exactly happens to dbx? Does it hang? Does it crash? Or it doesn't allow to run the app?
A side note: this message says that runtime linker debugging interface reported "consistent" event w/o any "add" or "delete" events, which is at least redundant and may indicate a bug. It is possible though that the bug is in dbx as well as in ld-linux.so, but its impossible to tell without live test case.

HCP debugging and profiling does not work anymore

Hi,
starting HCP in debug or profile mode does not work anymore.
Last week I developed a small java app and could debug it on HCP. Today I updated the HCP Tools eclipse plugins and now I can't change the state of the server to debug or profile. Of course the debugger does then not stop at my breakpoints.
Any hints?

Hi Alex,
as you can see on the screenshots the option is available. When I start in Debug Mode the state changes to started instead of debugging. Setting breakpoints then has no effect.

Im working with flash, everything is good. I've exported my movie it works fine. But i fell its a little fast.
So i go to drop the frame rate from default 12 to 8 just to see how it looks. I play it and i like it. Next thing i know when i go to hit 'share' to export the movie again the button is replaced by 'Debug'. I go into it and hit 'Debug Movie' then thats when i get the message "You cannot debug this SWF because it does not contain ActionScript".
Now if i start any new projects or open any exsisting ones it still has this debug thing going on.
How do i fix it and get it back to normal so i can export videos?

I have exactly the same problem. AS3 just seems not to be
compiled/interpreted at all. With a very simple 'trace' line as
mentioned in previous posts, you just need to click on the 'check
code' button and you will got the error saying that your code
contains error (of course the same experience works just fine on a
working CS3 installation on another computer).
So far I have been through several install/uninstall
processes without any change. It looks like Flash does not found
needed components/libs for compiling/interpreting AS3 code... Error
messages that all of us have seen are just kind of side effects of
the real problem.
Is there a way to initiate and access flash log files/system
error events/dll load tracer where we would be able to see what
flash is looking for and obviously it does not find
(files/libs/whatever)?!
In my case, I'm running CS3 on windows XP Pro SP2 installed
on e: (not c: ... which may be also something to consider)
... very very annoying to waste time that way... and I guess
it will be worst once we will have confirmation that this is just a

No. Something else is going on.
Your son may be hogging all the bandwidth but your wireless network should never simply disappear. Moreover, if your son isn't doing anything the available bandwidth for other devices should remain unaffected.
I suspect that something is miswired, and from what you describe I suspect that link is between the Extreme and the "other computer".
The way to accomplish what you propose is
Modem > Ethernet cable to Extreme's WAN port
Extreme's LAN ports > wired Ethernet devices.
There should be nothing but an Ethernet cable linking an Extreme LAN port and any other wired device. If you run out of available LAN ports on the Extreme, you need to by an "Ethernet switch" - they are not expensive, but don't call it a "splitter" or you will only confuse yourself. The switch would be connected to one of the Extreme's LAN ports, and you would connect additional devices to it. You can also use one of your Expresses for that purpose, assuming it is the current generation model with two Ethernet ports.

When opening firefox I receive this message. I unistalled and then installed again and still receive this message. The debug function does not work- firefox closes.

red circle with white X to left followed by: instruction at 0x1000865c referenced memory at 0x1000865c The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate program. Click on CANCEL to debug program. CANCEL as well as OK shut down firefox. XP continues to work. Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the tech side of this.

Local Admin add with GPP netbios name not working

I am trying to add domain users to be a local admin on certain machines. This however is not working with some machines critereria of the GPP.
For example: there is a GPP who adds the administrator to the local admin and deletes the ones already there. Then there follows a few other users with criteria: member of the security group laptopusers or other security groups. Also have added a user and
the criteria is netbios name of the computer. The member was immediatly added after a restart of that client.
There is also a group in AD and added members to that group that are local admin on every machine so there is no criteria. This is working fine. WHen i add all users to this group all users are local admin everywhere. Was tested.
However i have several users that do not be added to the local admin when the criteria is: netbiosname is ... Although when i give the command on the client: ipconfig /all the netbios name is exactly the same.
Looked in the winlog and it looks like a problem with the machines names or usernames. But how to solve it?
Which other cirteria i can use to add a member to local admin on a specific machine.
The GPP is beneath the computer preference and in AD beneath a computer OU.

Ok :) I know that these GPP debug logs are kind of "insufficient" in
terms of debugging ILT filtering issues, because there's absolutely
nothing about the filter evaluation in them...
In a quick test I ran right now, it worked without a problem. So it
seems you most probably will be out of luck in this forum, because it is
not a general issue.
BTW: Did you type in the name or did you select it through the object
picker button ("...")? Maybe this filter is case sensitive?

I jhave give in the name and then check name so he gets the name from AD. I have done that again to see if it works now. The strange thing is that it works well on some systems and not for some other systems...

Creating a symlink directory on a network share to a path below a mapped drive letter, local path, or UNC path does not work

Am I correct in assuming I can not create a `symlinkd` to a network share, local path, or a UNC path on a network share that will be accessible by clients?
###Mapped drive letters don't work:
1) navigate to a network share:
pushd \\windows2008server\share\
2) make a hardlink:
mklink /d test_sharedir t:\directory\

UNC paths don't work:
1) navigate to a network share:

I can create a functional `symlinkd` on a local drive to a mapped drive letter or a UNC path.
Are my assumptions above correct?
We are in the middle of a migration and have created two symlinkd to UNC paths for shared DLLs, one below c:\windows\system32\ (directing to a share containing 64-bit DLLs) and one below c:\windows\syswow64 (directing to a share containing 32-bit DLLs).
On the file server, we have had a path to 32-bit DLLs (from Windows 7 clients: s:\dll\). I am attempting to rename this directory so that it is accessible via "s:\dll32\" and would like to create a symlinkd that links "s:\dll" to
"s:\dll32" [again where S: is a mapped drive on a Windows 2008 server]. How do I do this?

2) If not, how do I submit a feature request for this so that it can be reviewed and approved or not approved for inclusion/hotfix release?

Note that you can use a `directory junction` instead of using a SYMLINKD, to link to LOCAL resources (source). However, `directory junctions` do not allow access to resources over UNC.

Debug version works well, but release version does not work with simulator

I developped one application and I tested with simulator-ipad retina. The debug version works well and release version did not work at all.

Loginscript via GPO does not work when local admin

Hi
We are in the middle of deploying Windows 8.1 to our
organization. We are using Windows 7 Pro today. We a mapping network drives
with a logon script via GPO. It is done with the good old net use commands that
has been working for years e.g.:
net use K: \\server1\Data /PERSISTENT:YES
net use L: \\server1\Design /PERSISTENT:YES
It works perfectly on Windows 7, but on the new
Windows 8.1 machines, no network drives are mapped. I can see that the GPO are
applied fine to the machines. It seems to have something to do with UAC and the
fact that the users is local admins. If I remove the use from the administrator
group, the script works fine and the drives are mapped just like in Windows 7 (5
minutes delayed, but it works...!). If I keep the user in the administrator group
and instead disable UAC by setting the EnableLUA to 0 in the registry it works
too, but then it gives me a lot of other issues with Metro apps and the Windows
Store.
Has anyone found a good solution to map network drives
for users that needs to be local administrators, without disabling UAC completely
in the registry?

"Group Policy Preference Drive Maps", does not just resolve my issue it does also give me some a lot of new awesome options I don't have with net use commands via GPO :-)
I have not tested it with Windows 7 yet, but I am pretty sure it will work there too
