  • Has anyone got a "runtime error" when trying to search in itunes store?

    has anyone got a "runtime error" when trying to search itunes store?

    I assume since you are posting in the iTunes U for iOS forum that you are having issues with the IOS version of the app. What is the exact error message?
    Can you participate in a course's discussion from iTunes U's Course Manager (https://itunesu.itunes.apple.com/coursemanager/)?

  • Error when trying to search archive

    I'm having an issue when trying to search my messenger (v2.0.1) archives. When I choose File > Search Archive I get a "Novell Messenger Archive Login" box connecting to <serverIP>:8310. The globe will just spin and spin and finally after a few minutes I will get the error that the server is not responding.
    I've checked everything that I can think of and everything would seem right, but its not working. Any suggestions or tips on why this is going on or where I can start to troubleshoot?
    The system is GroupWise 7.0.1 running on NetWare 6.0 SP5.

  • Odd error when trying to repartition internal SSD

    I'm trying to reset my Macbook Air rev. 4,2 (Mid 2011, Thunderbolt port) to factory defaults because I decided that having BootCamp and Linux running together was not what I wanted.
    After using Disk Utility to remove the partitions created during the Windows install and split Linux install, I realised that something went wrong and this was a bad idea - Boot Camp assistant can now no longer use the disk, and I get this weird error when using diskutil to verify the internal SSD:
    $ diskutil verifyDisk disk0
    Started partition map verification on disk0
    Checking prerequisites
    Checking the partition list
    Problems were found with the partition map which might prevent booting
    Error: -69770: Partition map check failed because no slices were found
    Using diskutil I get this:
    $diskutil list
    /dev/disk0
       #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER
       0:      GUID_partition_scheme                        *251.0 GB   disk0
       1:                  Apple_HFS Macintosh HD            250.7 GB   disk0s1
    Oops!  Looks like I managed to delete my Recovery HD somehow when deleting the Boot Camp and Linux partition... no idea how this happened either.  I certainly didn't want to...
    I can still boot into OSX just fine, and I can partition the disk... it appears to work until I try to use Boot Camp to install Windows again - still no luck.
    I have nothing important on the disk (using it for apps only and I can reinstall them easily) so I tried reinstalling Lion using Internet Recovery (since I no longer have the Recovery partition...) but it refuses to reinstall Lion because of the aforementioned error.  I have GPT fdisk installed on my system and I believe it can recreate the required partition map for reinstalling the system but I'm a bit afraid to do that since the SSD appears to have these 'invisible' slices. I don't really want to end up with a bricked system.
    Any ideas on how to proceed?  Many thanks in advance!

    Here's a solution for those who encounter this problem - there's no option but to boot from a recovery CD/internet recovery (Command + R before the Apple logo appears at startup) and use Disk Utility to reformat the entire disk and then reinstall Lion.  Make sure to have backed up anything important to another drive before you do this because you will irreversibly lose your data (since reinstalling Lion will likely overwrite existing data on the disk).

  • Error when trying to search for folders within an Exchange server

    I am working on an existing application that searches folder within an exchange server in asp.net C#
    The code is very basic is like this
    FolderView view = new FolderView(int.MaxValue);
                view.PropertySet = new PropertySet(BasePropertySet.IdOnly);
                view.PropertySet.Add(FolderSchema.DisplayName);
                view.PropertySet.Add(FolderSchema.FolderClass);
                view.PropertySet.Add(FolderSchema.ParentFolderId);
                view.Traversal = FolderTraversal.Deep;
                FindFoldersResults findFolderResults = service.FindFolders(new FolderId(WellKnownFolderName.Root, mailbox), view);
    This code has been working on another Exchange server before.
    However when I try to change the exchange server I try to scan I get an error like this :
    Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceVersionException: Exchange Server doesn't support the requested version.
       at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceRequestBase.ProcessWebException(WebException webException)

       at ExchangeSyncService.ExchangeToSqlService.SyncFolderForSubUser(ExchangeService service, Mailbox mailbox, Int32 nUserID)
    The Exchange server that succeeded and failed are both Exchange 2010.  I am searching are both Exchange 2010, and I checked the documentation that FindFolder is supported by all versions of Exchange 2010.
    Is it really a version error or something else? Anyone have any insight on this?

    problem solved thanks Glen can I ask you a new question? I ran into another error after solving that problem I got an error message that says
    Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceResponseException: The SMTP address has no mailbox associated with it.

       at ExchangeSyncService.ExchangeToSqlService.SyncFolderForSubUser(ExchangeService service, Mailbox mb, Int32 nUserID)
    The line of code that triggers this problem is
    FolderView view = new FolderView(int.MaxValue);
                view.PropertySet = new PropertySet(BasePropertySet.IdOnly);
                view.PropertySet.Add(FolderSchema.DisplayName);

     view.Traversal = FolderTraversal.Deep;
                FindFoldersResults findFolderResults = service.FindFolders(new FolderId(WellKnownFolderName.Root, mb), view);
    The error gets triggered on service.FindFolders. I am trying to grab all the folders from 1 user's account I am trying to access with a super admin account that has all access to all mailbox to all users on the server.
    Any idea what is going on there?
    It worked on my previous server just not working on this new server here.
    Thanks

  • Network timeout error when trying to search in itunes

    Every time I try to click on an app in the itunes app store, or do a search, I get the following error message:
    "We could not complete your itunes store request. The network connection has timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your connection is active, and try again"
    All browsers, email, and everything is working just fine with no issues. The itunes storefront pulls up just fine, but does not function when clicking on things due this (erroneous) error message. I cannot even do a search without getting this message.

    I've been having the same issue for the last 4 days. Still happening, today. It's making it impossible to search for any tv shows or music. I click on a link in iTunes, it 'searches', and then times out. Sometimes I can get to that link after trying 4 or 5 times. Most times, I can't get in at all.
    I'm getting very frustrated.

  • Getting error 80072f0d when trying to search for N...

    Hi there,
    I'm getting an error when trying to search for Nokia Lumia 800 update through Windows Phone 7 Connector on my Mac. Attached below the is the full error message. Can anybody help me with this, please? Thank you very much!!
    Some more info, my phone currently runs OS version 7.10.8107.79.
    Here now the error message:
    We aren’t able to check "NOKIA Lumia 800" for available updates right now. Please try again later. If you need to contact support, reference error 80072f0d
    Current Version: 07.10.08107.03

    Hi,
    Thanks for your feedback both of you.
    It may be required for you to reset the Lumia in order for the update to be installed. You will find this option in Settings>About>reset your phone. This will erase all information on your phone so make sure you have synced all contact and calendar data with your respective Exchange Active Sync accounts and your media files with Zune. You can use the app Reinstaller to download all (paid) apps again. When prompted select BUY for your app and it will be recognized as bought before and you will be allowed to install it again.
    Hope this helps,

    Right. If you are using delegated privs and sudo, make sure that sudo is configured to pass on the PERL5LIB and ORACLE_HOME environment variables at least.

  • Errors when trying to connect CRM 7.0 to Enterprise Search

    Hi!
    I encountered 2 errors when trying to connect to a CRM 7.0 system as a backend system from Enterprise Search Cockpit.
    The first error is related to ESH_INT_GET_TREX_DESTINATION with a message of ESH_OM_OBJ_MODEL_REP 517:
    http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/9722/eserrors1.jpg
    The second error is related to "Errors during data cluster import from remote system":
    http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/7976/eserrors2.jpg
    I don't know if these two errors are related, but any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!
    Thank you!
    Regards,
    Paul

    4.0 should be fine. My initial thoughts were on the script targetting a framework lesser than 3.5. Am bummed about the error cause in the line
    ClientContext clientContext =
    new ClientContext(client);
    it just creates an instance of the ClientContext class. It should have nothing to do with permissions cause it is not even trying to connect to the sharepoint site. So it looks like it can't find the assembly. Can you place the asembly
    under the Microsoft.Net\Framework folder of your machine. SSIS looks for custom assemblies in this folder on design time (Refer
    this) Worth a try hey!

  • IChat Internal Error when trying to change own Buddy Icon

    On my son's iBook G4 with OS 10.4.5 and iChat AV 3.1.1, he gets an error when trying to insert some JPG photos for his own Buddy Icon. It says:
    iChat Internal error! NSInvalidargumentexception: * -[NSCFArray addObject:] attempt to insert nil
    Also where are all your recent pictures stored??? Upon searching iChat Recent Pictures on my HD, it see they should be User>Library>Images>iChat Recent Pictures. However upon tyring to open that fiel, I get a message saying, "The alias 'ichat Recent Pictures' could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found." I can select delete alias, fix alias or ok. Might this also relate to my problem?

    Hi Michael,
    I pointed you to that thread as the error message you posted is normally associated with either a spellcheck problem or something odd with the Me Card in the Address Book.
    You can drag pics to the Recent Buddies folder but iChat will not see them.
    Create a New Folder and call it iChat Recent Pictures
    The alias should be removed.
    You should now find that iChat will let you select a choice as a new Buddy Pic.
    This is done by clicking on the current Buddy pica nad selecting the "Edit Picture" option.
    Then "Choose".
    Navigate to the Pic and then resize as require.
    Use the "Set" button.
    This will convert the pic to a jpeg 2000 copy of the original and the Recents.plist which is needed within the folder.
    You should now be good to go.

  • SO I am getting a strange error when trying to access the FIM Management Agents

    Hi Everyone,
    So I am getting a really odd error when I go to FIM --> Management Agents -->MOSS-guid ID right click on that and choose porperties, then Configure Connection Information, then I click OK and I get this pop up error "the type of 'pictureurl' string
    is not compatible with the type of 'sps_mv_octelstring_pictureurl'. I got here by noticing that in the error log there was an error that said:
    The management agent "MOSS-guid ID" failed on run profile "MOSS_EXPORT_Guid ID" because the server encountered errors.
    when I searched on that error, it lead me to a ton of blogs that said to do the following:go to FIM --> Management Agents -->MOSS-guid ID right click on that and choose porperties, then Configure Connection Information at the bottom of the page there
    is a Connect To field and every blog I read said to change it to direct:{Domain}:{Port}. The thing is that my domain and port were fine, so that is when I clicked ok, and got that error message. Ever since this happened, my FIM has been broken, and I really
    can't figure out why???
    So I haven't done any updates to the server in at least a year, so nothing could be happening there.
    Any help at all with this would be taken with the greatest appreciation.
    Best regards, Mike

    What you're doing is unsupported. You need to manipulate the MAs via Central Admin -> Manage Service Applications, find your UPA SA and manage it. You can then Manage User Properties and make changes to the Picture property from here.

  • Error when trying to access the RBAC User editor and Message tracking

    Hi,
    I am getting an error when trying to access the RBAC User editor and Message tracking on the Web Mgmt interface. I verified that the admin account trying to access is in the Organization Management group and has the correct Role Assignment Policy applied.
    I searched through this thread below and saw that matching the msExchRoleLink and msExchUserLink attributes fixed the issue.
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/fc568cc6-8691-4127-b70b-bcc82f9b1f7f/first-2010-cas-server-no-administrator-rights-emc-permissions-gone?forum=exchange2010
    However I have another environment where this is not the case and works just fine; the msExchUserLink attribute has a value of CN=Organization Management,OU=Microsoft Exchange Security Groups,DC=Domain,DC=Local which is different as per the issue outlined in
    the above thread so I am not convinced that this will work and also don’t want to blindly edit something in adsiedit without being sure.
    I then checked the event logs on the server and saw the below error logged;
    Current user: 'Domain/Server Services Accounts/administrator'
    Request for URL 'https://server.domain.com/ecp/default.aspx?p=AdminDeliveryReports&exsvurl=1' failed with the following error:

    I then had a look at the IIS permissions for ecp and owa. The account did not have permissions so I added them there but still got the same error. I’ve also tried all of the above with a newly-created account but still got the same issue.
    Any ideas as to what the above event log is specifically referring to?

    Hi,
    From your description, I would like to clarify the following thing:
    If you want to search message tracking logs, the account you use should be a member of the role groups below:
    Organization Management role group, Records Management role group, Recipient Management role group.
    Hope this can be helpful to you.

    Hi,
    Have you configured your SLD? Check JCO Destination error out or search for "com.sap.tc.webdynpro.serverimpl.wdc.sl.SystemLandscapeFactory.checkStatus" in the SDN forums.

  • HTTP error when trying to access RESTful web service from application

    Hi,
    We are getting the following error when trying to access a RESTful web service coming from Apex workspace 4.2.1 and Apex listener 2.1:
    ORA-29273: HTTP request failed ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1130 ORA-29024: Certificate validation failure
    In the Debug report, besides the above I also see:
    error_backtrace: ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1130 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_WEB_SERVICES", line 543 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_WEB_SERVICES", line 1164 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_PROCESS", line 396
    We get that error whether we use https or http in the URI pointing to the web service. When I test the Web Service in Workspace RESTful service GUI, I get the data back. When I go build an application with a report calling the RESTful Web Service I get that error. Both the Application and the Workspace RESTful services are on the same Apex environment and even the same workspace.
    What is odd is that I can actually put the URL of the web service into a browser and I get the data: (using the demo hr data in sample RESTful services.)
    IN browser-- https://weblogic-dev.edu/apex/ace/hr/empinfo/
    yields:

    Any ideas on what would be causing the Error above in our application?
    Thanks,

    In reviewing the above error, I think we are realizing that we have to have the Weblogic layer SSL cert (actually the CERT from our BigIP load balancer which also does our SSL termination) imported into the Oracle server wallet where Apex is installed. Am I correct?

    We resolved our problem. The Apex Administrative Guide made us realize that we had to set up Wallet path in the Instance. This required working with DBAs to follow the Advanced networking guide to get the wallet set up on our server. We then added that path to the Instance configuration. (Manager Instance --> Instance settings). We ran into another other issue related to our implementation of CAS but were able to resolve that, and 'voila' were able to get the sample RESTful service consumed by our application!!
    Now to the task of figuring out how to get Basic Auth working between client application and RESTful web service. If anyone has that working, let us know!!
    It would be helpful if in the documentation of the Apex 2.x listener or Apex install/configuration there was clear reference to the above steps required for HTTPS access to RESTful web services.
