Old PO's to rebate

Hi,
We need to consider the old PO's that was created before the rebate agreement validity period for particular vendors. After creating agreement , the rebate condition occurs in new PO's but we need to get rebate for the old PO's that were created for the same vendor's. How can those PO's can be added to the simulation for settlement document. Can we create a rebate agreement with the past date for a vendor, so that all the old PO's that was created for the vendor will be added during settlement. pls advise.
Thank you!

Dear Expert,
Pls provide me your valuable input for the options to consider old PO's for purchase rebates credit.
Thanks.

  • Rebate Processing -  Value Difference -Verfication level and Sales  Volume

    Dear All ,
We are using standard rebate process - Customer Rebates   and we have encountered the following issue .
    1. The Rebate agreement was created on 01/12/2010 with validity from 01/12/2001 , valid through 31/03/2010.The Rebate recipient was not activated for Rebate  in the month of DEC 2009 and was activated  on 15/01/2010 . We have executed VBOF  and found that the Accruals are calculated from 15/01/2010 till date which is 25,010 USD ( for the invoices which are created from 15/01/2010) but it is not taken into consideration of the invoices which are created in the month of December 2009.
We have checked and calculated manually the accruals which is amounting to 35,575 USD for the period ( 01/12/2009 to 14/01/2010) . This accrual  amount is not updated for the agreement .
Can any one give inputs on this issue.
    Thanks in advance .

    Dear All ,
I have executed the VBOF  couple of times and the sales volume is updated correctly  now - 51,277.20 USD . but when i selected the agreement  and clicked on verfication level it is not showing up all the invoices   and the value shown is 43,025.10 USD . There is  difference of 8252.10.
Now the issue is how do i get all the invoices in the verfication level.
Can any one give inputs on this  .
Thanks in advance to all of you.

  • Activate Rebates for Old Sales orders created

    Hi SAP Gurus,
How to activate rebate agreement or rebate condition records to old sales orders which has been created at past ?
let me take an example and explain:
    1. Total sales cycle is created (Sales Order, Delivery & Billing with Accounting document) is created on 06.06.2014 and rebate agreement is created on 26.06.2014.
Now my client is asking to link the rebate agreement which is created on 26.06.2014 to the Sales Cycle which is created and completed on 06.06.2014.
    Balajia

    Hi Balajia
The rebate process supports retroactive processing.
If you have activeate the new rebate procedure (via S136) you can run VBOF and as long as the
validity of the agreement and the agreement conditions cover this document created before the agreement the rebate condition will be inserted in the billing document and posted to FI.
If you do not have the new rebate procedure activated it is not possible to update the old document
but if it falls within the validity of the agreement it wil be included in the final settlement of the agreement carried out via VBOX.
Notes 75778 and 105681 in addition to 410579 should help you clarify the issue.
    Hope it helps
    Kind regards

  • Retroactive accruals using VOB3 (Old rebate functionality)

    Hi gurus,
I already did quite some searches my I did not find any answer to my problem.
    Example:
I have two invoices created on September and another in October.
    I created a Rebate agreement on 01-11-2011.
In order that the two mentioned invoices are considered for accruals, the Validy from date of the rebate was set to 01-09-2011.
In order to create the retroactive accruals, and since my customer is using the old rebate functionality, we run transaction VOB3 (program RV15B002 ) and a Rebate Correction was created totalling 17.200,00u20AC.
My customer needs to have a report that, per each Rebate correction, are listed which Sales Invoices contributed for the final value and specify the value per each sales invoice
    Example:
    Example:
    Invoice 1 contributed with 200,00
    Invoice 2 contributed with 7.000,00
    Invoice 3 contributed with 10.000,00
    My question is:
Is there any table where this relation exists?
Is there any function module that I can use that retrieves this info?
    Many thanks!
    Fátima

    Hi Babs,
To update billing documents for retrospectively created agreements, you need to run VBOF transaction. By this transaction you can update already created agreements.
    In the selection screen key in;
    1) Agreement Number
    2) Valid End date before ( this date should be greater than the end date of the agreement)
    3) FI-Dco Type: SU (Adjustment documnet)
    4) Uncheck Test and nged agreements.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards

  • Old  rebate  documents  not  appearing   anymore......

    Hi all,
the problem we have is that We cannot see the old payments in ''VBO3''.
There are only the documents from last 2 mounts.
but when I enter by VF03 to the missing document,I can see it.
How the old documents could be displayed in VBO3??
    Any Idee?
    Points if helpful.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi,
the reason is missing authorization for the UI component.
You have to add the authorization Object UIU_COMP with the relevant values to your PFCG-role.

  • Problem with Trade-In Phone Rebate

I purchased a a new phone and was told I could send my old phone in for the $200 trade-in rebate.  I followed all the directions, got it turned in on time, and then a couple of weeks later I received an email saying I wasn't getting the $200, instead it was going to be $182 because the phone was marked as lost/stolen.  However, my rebate was to arrive within 3 weeks.  It's been almost 2 months now, and I called today.  I was told it was locked up and the rebate would not be sent out because of the lost/stolen status.  They said I needed to resolve that.  This phone was my son's.  He bought it brand new, and then a couple of years later upgraded to an Iphone 5.  He never reported it as stolen/lost.  However, the rebate center says they can't do anything about it, we will need to contact Apple.  Apple will require the EIN? number, which I would get on the phone, if I had it.  It is at the rebate center.  No one can clear it so I'm screwed out of the rebate.  When i called, I was forwarded to different people several times only to be looped right back to the first placed I'd called.  Everyone kept saying they couldn't do anything to clear it, but no one could tell me how I could get this cleared up.  The phone was never lost or stolen, but they keep saying I have to call the place where we originally called to report it lost or stolen.  Hello!!!!  It was never reported as lost or stolen.  So I don't know where to go from here.  Can anyone help me?

Has your son tried logging in to his iCloud account to see if the phone still shows (assuming he had Find My Phone activated)? Or contacting Apple to see if the phone still shows as registered to him? Then he can maybe verify that he did not report the phone as stolen (I'be never reported an iPhone as stolen but doesn't it have to be reported to the carrier?). Not sure if any of this will help but it's worth a try

  • My bill, and my 80 year old mother-in-law......

As detailed in the email below, My mother in law went to a local (Brea, Ca) Verizon store to join the world of smartphones. What transpired next was a colossal misadventure that has yet to be fixed by either the local Verizon Store Manager or Verizon
A couple of weeks ago I stopped by your store to relate an incident that
occurred between a member of your staff and my nearly 80 year-old mother in
    law.
My mother-in law was in the market for a smartphone. We had done extensive
research together online and had made some decisions about which way to go.
That matter seemed dormant until I received a phone call one evening from
your store. A sales person rather abruptly told me my mother-in-law was in
your store looking to make a purchase of a smartphone. This purchase
however required her making changes to the account. I did not fully
understand what I was being asked, but I knew she had wanted to make this
move to a smartphone so I played along with your staff's recommendations.
Your sales person deemed it necessary to change our plan to a "share
everything" plan with some 8GB of data. This seemed high, but I was told by
your sales person that with this change "it included" a "jet pack". He
further explained that with the 50$ rebate the total cost of the device was
only 20$. That sounded like fun so I agreed. I inquired as to what phone
she had settled on, and the sales person responded,"I'm talking her in to
the Lucid2." My mother-in-law must have physically reacted to this
characterization because he quickly changes his vocabulary to "I'm advising
her to look at the Luicd2"
At no time did your sales person mention either the 20$ *monthly
charge*for the jet pack, no did he mention the 35$ charge for setting
    up the new
jet pack. Had he provided full disclosure at the time of the phone call the
    answer would have been "no".
We have been with Verizon for a *long time*. We have always been treated
with respect, and afforded a level of service that allows us to trust you
with (pardon the pun) our friends and family. My parents are now on
Verizon, as are all of my other family members. And we hope to continue
with Verizon for years to come.
When I spoke with you a couple of weeks ago I asked you to undo the changes
made by your staff member, and to date it looks as though you are holding
up your end of the bargain. Our newest bill has now arrived, and I invite
you to look it over to fix the final detail of this disastrous experience.
Specifically the 170$ cancellation fee for the ill-fated jet pack.
My wife and daughter are still holding out for this matter to clear up
before we try to get them a smartphone, when they do upgrade we will stop
    by and seek you out.
    Respectfully,
    Patrick
    ----end of email----
We are now headed to our 4th month in dealing with this matter. Really? 4 months? You guys are better than this. The initial boondoggle took place on May 9, 2013. My visit took place on or about on June 20, 2013. And here are headed toward Sept with little resolved. Except the fact that we now know, the representative needs a little help fulfilling his promises. My bill is up to date with the exception of the $170.00 cancellation fee that I was told would be "taken care of". But now it appears that (maybe) the manager is encouraging his staff to pray on 80 year old grandmothers and sign them up for stuff they have no hope of understanding, and hoping we'll just shut up, pay up and go away. Or maybe he's hoping Big Brother will step in so he doesn't have to be the bad guy toward his staff.
So let's go Verizon, I got better things to than babysit your Managers and their promises.

  • How can we transfer the accruals posted from one rebate recipient to another in SAP.

we have like 20 invoices posted in SAP for one rebate recipient. but now the salesman has changed the territory and is replaced with another. starting May1st we need to pay the accruals to the new salesman instead of old salesman. Please advice.
    Regards
    Pradeep

Ideally, still you need to pay the rebate to the same salesman since accruals is nothing but value accumulated in the past and the salesman is suppose to reap the benefits.

  • How to restrict the manual accrual posting in Rebate?

    Hi friends,
I am working with Retroactive Rebate.
As on now, the total accrual posted to FI is 20000 INR.
If I am taking the past Billing documents into consideration then the Total accrual is 35000 INR.
So, I need to post a Manual Accrual for the difference of 15000 INR. It is running fine.
Now, I want that user should be able to post more than the difference amount. During Manual accrual posting, one can post any amount he wants which I want to restrict upto the difference amount.
That means, system should not allow the user to enter more than the difference amount.
Can any body please guide me how to do it?
    Regards
    Pradyumna

    Hello Pradyumna,
there is not standard way to restrict the manual accrual value.
Are you using the old rebate processing (with S136 not active) ?
If so I would advice you to pass to new rebate processing. See the note 105681.
In this way the retroactive rebates can be easily handled.
If you prefer to old rebate processing, please try to test the report RV15B005 to post accrual for old invoices
    Best regards,
    Ivano.

  • Moving all records- old  code (G/L/Cust/Vend) to new code (G/L/Cust/Vend)

    Hi Friends,
I have created a customer code (say for e.g. C001 for  ABC LTD.), and did some SD & FI transactions (data entry) using that code.
After few days, I realized that this above stated customer code (C001) is not correct. So I blocked this customer code (C001 stated above) from doing further transactions.
Then, I opened a new code for this same above stated customer (ABC LTD.). The new code is now (say for e.g. C005 for ABC LTD.).
From now onwards I can do transactions in C005. But I want to transfer (in one shot / in one go) - all the previous old FI & SD transactions / records of C001 into C005.
SAP provides a standard Transaction Code for doing this in one shot; but I have forgotten that.
By running that transaction code, I can move all records from old customer code (C001)to the new customer code (C005).
    Can anybody please help.
Same facility (SAP Standard Transaction Code) exits for Vendor Codes as well as G/L Codes also.
I mean to say that there are SAP Standard Transaction codes available - one each for G/L / Vendor / Customer
    i.e.
To move all previous entries / records from old G/L / Vendor / Customer code(s) to New G/L / Vendor / Customer code(s) in one shot / in one go.
I will definitely reward points to everybody who tell me those TCodes.
    Regards,
    Rajeev.

You can use F-30 to transfer invoices, however you need to consider a few things here.
If you have billed via SD it may be worth issuing a credit for all of the invoices, and creating a new sales order for the new customer. This will help in the future if you want to analysis the total amount you have sold to this customer, as there may be some rebates due or something similar.
You could also look at FBR1.
You can use this to create a copy of the original document and then change the customer or vendor number, you must then also remember to reverse the posting to the first customer.
Award points if this is useful.

  • Rebate Final Settlement with 0 payment

    Hi,
I have been looking into the process of how to close out old agreements so that nothing more will post to them and remove open accruals.  I was using the icons Final Settlement and Execute Settlement for this purpose.   The Excecute Settlement can be used to enter the amount you wish to pay out on the agreement at the time of closing.  However it wont let me put 0 in if we just want to clear out open accruals and make no further payment on the rebate upon closing it.
I have found information on the SAP library stating the following options which sounds exactly what I need to happen however I cannot see where I can "click Change Status in the assignment block Item in the rebate agreement, and for single items if you click Change Status in the item details"
    - the only Status I can see on the agreement is in the front screen of VBO2 in the control data secton of the agreement called "Agreement Status" and none of the options below are listed.
Can someone tell me how to access the status described below or how I should find it?
    Thanks for your help
    SAP Library Info
You have released the rebate agreements that you want to settle. You release a rebate agreement by setting a final release status. You can set the following final release statuses for all agreement items if you click Change Status in the assignment block Item in the rebate agreement, and for single items if you click Change Status in the item details:
    ○       Release All Items for Final Settlement /Release Item for Final Settlement
Set this status to release items for final settlement.
After final settlement, a settlement document is generated, rebates are paid out, accruals are resolved and the items are closed.
    ○       Cancel All Items Without Recall / Cancel Item Without Recall
Set this status to release items for final settlement at a value of zero without recalling any rebates that have already been paid out.
After final settlement, a settlement document with a value of zero is generated, no rebates are paid out, accruals are resolved, and the items are closed.
    ○       Cancel All Items With Recall / Cancel Item With Recall
Set this status to release items for final settlement at a value of zero with a recall of rebates that have already been paid out.
After final settlement, debit memos for all rebates already paid out for the items are generated and sent to the customer, accruals are resolved and the items are closed.

    Hello Tracey,
You can simply maintain rebate agreement status as B - Agreement released for settlement in your desired rebate agreement for closure or not in use for future.
    Hope this can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards
    JP

  • Rebate report or list which shows the balance of each rebate in the list

    Hi,
VB(8 list rebates; this report lists the rebates in the selected range and you can drill in...Even after drill in this list does not include settlements or manual accruals and so does not reprent the balance? Any thoughts or experience with this issue?
    a further question;
when you have several hundred, is there a report or list that shows the open balance of each rebate with out drilling into each rebate number?
    thanks
    Craig

    Hi,
Have you tried the following :-
Compare Rebate Basis: Billing Documents Versus Statistics
    Title
Comparison of the Rebate Basis and Accrual Corrections
    Purpose
The report RV15B002 gives you the option of comparing statistics from the rebate settlements with the values from the billing documents. These values can differ if you start rebate processing later and want to take into account old billing documents. The report also allows you to post a rebate correction agreement, which corrects accruals.

  • New Rebate procedure set up steps

    Dear All,
I am working on setting up of new rebate procedure.
    1. I have done the info structure S136 setting to update synchronously in OMO1 transaction.
Now I am trying to populate the old billing documents in the info structure S136 using transaction OLI9, but is not working.

After doing all these things when I execute OLI9 still the billing document is not updated in the info structure table S136.
Could you please guide me on the correct process so that I can use the new rebate procedure effectively.

  • PSE 4 price comparison and rebate possibilities

There have been some comments in other threads about prices and rebates for Photoshop Elements 4. Yet I did not find a thread specific to price comparisons, so I decided to start this thread.
If you add price information to this thread, please state the retailer and the country. If you know, identify whether the upgrade rebate ($20 in USA) is available when purchasing from this retailer. I suggest that we omit tax from the discussion because it may be specific to exact location of the purchaser.

I am accustomed to seeing "offer valid only in the contigous 50 states" blah blah blah beneath the rebate amount. I am NOT accustomed to seeing a "disqualifying" statement on the rebate form then realizing it was part of the fine print on the rebate sticker on the box! As a first time customer of adobe products I was extremely disappointed in this type of deceptive marketing. The rebates on my new computer, printer, monitor were of the straightforward "buy my product and I'll make it worth your while" variety. Adobe chose to hedge their bets, that some folks wouldn't notice the fine print on the rebate sticker. Congratulations Adobe, I don't get took that often (maybe I'm just getting old) but you got me. You also got a one time customer.
