Old series in goods receipt

hi experts.
how do I search the old series in stock managerment/stock transactions/goods receipt?
the system searches only the current series. do I solve only whith query?
the sap business one release I use is 2007 A SP:1 PL:07
thanks

Ciao Pasquale,
when you are into a stock transaction form, the numbering series are exposed depending by the year of the posting date, so if you have posting date like 30 december 2009 you will see only the series with period indicator equal to 2009; if you change the posting date to 30 december 2007, you will see only the series with period indicator equal 2007.
This is a new system definition into 2007 A release not present into 2005 and 2004 !!

  • Return Delivery Goods Receipt amount takes current MAP instead of old MAP

    Hi,
I'm facing a problem in the following scenario:
    1. Sales order is created
    2. Delivery is created
    3. Goods Issue for the Delivery is posted (cost of goods sold = current moving average price of material = 100 SEK)
    4. Invoice is created
Event: Moving average price of material is increased with 100 % (Moving average price changed from 100 SEK to 200 SEK)
Event: Customer returns the order for some reason
    5. Return order is created with reference to the invoice in step 4 (same amount the invoice)
    6. Return delivery is created
    7. Credit note is created (same amount as the invoice)
    8. Goods Receipt for the Returns delivery is posted (cost of goods sold = current moving average price of material = 200 SEK)
Result: The financial bookings after the Goods Receipt will use the new moving average price and the stock value will increase with 200 SEK, even though the initial stock deduction was only 100 SEK to delivery the material to the customer.
Problem: We have now created 100 SEK worth of stock --> This is not allowed
Question: How can I manipulate the goods receipt amount to use the old moving average price of 100 SEK instead of 200 SEK?
    Thanks for your suggestions!

I konw that I'm digging an old thread but let's have a look. I have the same problrm (filling the DMBTR field from the BAPI). I have not tried yet but checking the code of the BAdI I found that the EXTENSIONIN_TO_MATDOC method of the MB_BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE BAdI is called before creating the material posting and it has the IMSEG table as changing parameter. I will give it a try soon. Hope that it will work.
Has anyone experience with it by any chance?

  • Goods Receipt Acccounting document considers  condition price from PO

    Hi,
During Goods Receipt with reference to an old PO, the accounting document created considers old overheads condition price from PO and not the updated condition price from condition record (Transaction MEK1) which was subsequently changed after creation of the PO.
Please advise how the accounting document should consider the updated price (MEK1) as on date of creating the GR.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Pratap Mukund Shetty

    Hi Pavan,
You are right. But we are unable to save the PO with catg 5 as the gross price is pbxx (manual entry) .Our requirement is for the additive cost conditions we have for overheads mantained in MEK1 and in pricing schema show that they are picked up in the PO. At the time of GR if these condition prices were changed it should consider the updated price in GR accounting document but presently it picks the previous price from PO.
If PB00 is mantained  and picked from info record   then the price date catg works.. But most of our PO's have PBXX (manual entry). How do we address this.

  • Goods Receipt and Amoratization to Internal Orders (CO)

    Dear SAP Gurus -
Please could you kindly assist in this matter.
Our Production department is unable to upload the plan cost / unit cost to the 1st impression production order number, as stock was received before for the old title.
Instead of creating new ISBNs the business used these existing 40 ISBNs and just changed the  titles.
As such the plan cost /unit cost was uploaded to 2nd impression 02, goods
receipt and actual invoice received also captured into 2nd impression 02.
However for the internal order via KO03 for the 40 new titles were captured into 1st impression '01'
Production dept is able to upload the plan cost
/ unit cost to the first cost internal order the last two digits carry 01 and
actual invoice received is captured into 1st impression first cost 01.
Will the First cost internal order amortised for 12 months upon the goods receipt.
Question Can the 1st impression 01 first cost order internal order created via KO03 read the goods receipt
which is captured in 2nd impression 02 in production order?
I believe the business want to know if the goods receipt they have done against Production order 02 will trigger the amortisation of the costs on First cost internal order 01.
So basically the concern is that the first cost internal order number 01 for these 40 titles maybe will be amortised upon
the actual goods receipt as the receipt is captured in 2nd impression 02 for the production order.
    Please provide some feedback.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
I try it from development environment , Create the  transport organize and transport it to product environment, then use SM56 transaction for reset buffer ( object CO_ABRECHN ) and put the NR status. so, you can transport it without preoccupation.

  • Goods Receipt after Completion Confirmation for Service Order

    Hi,
We have a scenario in which a Notification is used to create a Sales Order & a Service Order using the action button.
The Sales Order has a old/used product as a line item which we will consume along with some other new parts(added in the components tab in Service Order) to make a remanufactured product which we will obtain after using IW42 for Completion Confirmation. (The Service order is to carry the cost of refabrication/refurburishment & additional parts as well)
We need to do Goods receipt of this remanufactured product to bring it into stock so that we can deliver the same using the same sales order.
Is this possible? We have tried using Refurbishment order both CS/PM but have not been successful in inwarding the remanufactured product using IW8W.
Kindly do suggest possibility of using a Service Order(created through a notification) with a GR feature for the above process of inwarding. Any alternate suggestions would also be very helpful.
If this functionality can be achieved with some enhancement(custom exit, BADI etc) & some amongst you have worked on something similar , please do share your valuable inputs
    Thanks & Best Wishes
    Vishal

    Hi
I dont think you will be able to do Goods receipt against prodcution order using inbound delivery VL31N. Inbound deliveries are normally created for Purchase orders and then GR can be posted wrt to the inbound delivery.
Prod order is normally within warehouse only so you can use MB31 and post GR directly against Prod order.
If you can explain more about your scenario hope we may help
    Please let us know
    thanks

  • Goods Receipt not Increasing the Inventory and creating a variance instead

    Hi Experts,
We have this situation in some of the goods receipts and not all of the goods receipts. In some Goods receipts, what is happening is:
1 - When we copy the goods receipts from the PO and add the goods receipts, the G/L account for Inventory Variance is Debiting instead of Debiting the the Inventory in that particular warehouse. I want to change the G/L from Inventory Variance Account to Inventory Account. I have checked all the settings but I am not able to understand why this is happening. I did the same Goods in the test server, everything was perfect. Like this we have couple of Goods Receipts that hit the wrong G/L. We use SAP Business One 2007A PL:08.
Any Idea why this is happening only to some goods receipts? Would greatly appreciate your earliest response.
Please let me know the checkpoints as well if possible. May be I am missing something here.
    Thanks

    Hi all ,
You can set other warehouse for that particular Item Or Create Duplicate Item From  item Master and Delete old one and set quantity as per GL Or your requirement.

  • Quantity field not getting update in PCA document for Goods Receipt

We have the Purchase Account activated for our company code.
For movement type 101 (Goods Receipt), I am getting the quantity field updated for GR/IR account and Stock Account (B/S item).
But the quantity field is not getting updated for the "Purchase Account" and the "other offsetting PL A/C).
Please advice whether I am missing something.
    Regards
    B.Mohanty

    Hi Aravind,
Check SAP notes  1063198 and 1117587.
FAGLL03 display quantity which is updated in FAGLFLEXA, BSEG is not
relevant in this case. This is clearly explained in the note 1063198.
The quantity posts through to FI on the 'goods receipt' items, but not on the
    'invoice receipt' items.
In the FI normally the Quantity is not a 'real' important field, as it
is more related to the MM area.
But in the old 'Profit Center Accounting' and the old' Special Ledger'
    the field has been important.
As the same logic of these areas to 'store' the Quantity is also used
in the NewG/L the field get only filled in the line, where it make
'sense' from our point of view, because only in the 'goods receipt'
lines a 'real' Quantity is posted to the system.
So as before in the PCA and SL, now also in the NewG/L the Quantity is
filled in the correct and important lines and postings.
In the BSEG ('old document segment table') the field is filled 'just'
as it is send to the FI, but this is not completely correct from the
    business point of view.
This can also lead to issues with the reporting and summation to this
field. So with creating the new logic in the NewG/L the 'correct'
standard of the 'writing' for the Quantity has also been taken over.
So in the end, the update and display is correct according  SAP standard behavior.
Actually,Quantities within G/L are never reliable,
because the purpose of FI is a view on the data according to amount
    but not according to quantity.
In the FI normally the Quantity is not a 'real' important field, as it
is more related to the MM area.
I hope I could be of assistance.
    Regards,
    Fernando

  • IS-PS 4.6C-Goods Receipt printer assignment

    Hi,
I am trying to change the designated printer that is assigned for printing our Goods Receipts. We are on 4.6C. I have looked at all of the IMG configuration tools and have not found the one that has the currently assigned printer shown. This includes IMG->Materials Management->Output Determination->Printer Determination and the current printer is not listed.
Are there more than one way to set the default printer for the GR print function when using transaction MIGO? Where or how is the printer defined?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mark Shirkey

    Hi Muralidhara,
My appologies for not getting back to you sooner. A new printer has been installed and named as the old printer, so the need to make the change in SAP has gone.
Thank you for your response to my question. The information was useful in verifing my previous checks into the configuration of the Output Determination for Goods Receipts.
I would still be interested in finding how to change it if it ever comes up again. Please see below for details on what I found for configuration settings in our system.
    a) The only printer designated in the IMG for the printer was LP01 under the General Settings link of Materials Management->Inventory Management and Physical Inventory->Print Control, which is apparently a default device that SAP created. None of the Printer Determination settings have been maintained. As the named device in General Settings does not exist in our system, it escapes me as to how the transaction MIGO gets the defaulted device that we want to change.
    b) NAST-MANUE contains the printer name that I would like to change. How is this field filled in when processing the transaction? If it is in the General Settings settings, then why does it not show the LP01 printer as the default?
    c) I went through both notes and found that there was not a setting made in Printer Determination that has the current defaulted printer named. The configuration has not been maintained.
If you have any other information that can point me in the right direction, I would be very apprciative of hearing about it.
    Thank you again,
    Mark

  • Goods Receipt posting issue

    Hi Guru,
I know it's an old question to rise but I forgot how to do it. Please help.
When doing goods receipt shows--posting only possible in periods 2006/12 and 2006/11 in company code 3000.
    Thanks,Cindy

As I already inform you the solution, you can take use of either solution.
From your posting period issue, it is quiet evident that you are not working on a production client and .
Anyways, if you are on production client, then take assistance of MM & FI consultant in your team.
    Solution 1:
Post your material with posting date in between 12/2006 & 11/2006.
    Solution 2:
Using Tcode MMPV - Close Period for Material Master,
    Provide your current date.
Radio Button - Close Period only.
Reason for selecting this radio button - Setting this indicator reduces the run-time of the period closing program by approximately 50%.
So logically speaking you have to carryout this for each & every month from 2006 to till date.
If you are doing it on your testing purpose, kindly follow following solution for your cause.
    Solution 3:
Step 1. Use tcode OX18 - select the plants assigned to Company code - delete - save
Step 2. Use tcode OMSY - Enter current financial month & save.(06-2010)
Step 3. Use tcode OX18 - assign all plants to co code
Step 4. Use tcode OMWD - enter valuation area 0001.
    Hope it can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Re-price of Purchase Order at Goods Receipt

If have the requirement that on Goods Receipt we need the Purchase Order to be re-priced. If I set the price date to 5 in the PO, this causes a re-price at GR, but is appears to do a complete re-price and removes any manually entered prices. Also, though the GR values reflect the re-price, the PO still shows the old values. The actual PO is not updated, even though a re-price for the GR has occured.
I have also tried using the IS-OIL functionality whereby you assign the value 'U' to the condition category in the price conditions you require to be re-priced. This appears to work in that any manual prices entered remain. However, again, the PO does not reflect the price change.
Can anyone please tell me how to get the PO to be updated, rather than just the values used in the GR.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
This is not possible. You have to play with the condition types for this.
This is like an example of Gold, you order gold at one price but at the time of recieving gold you pay another price. You may check the condition type created for gold purchase.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kiran

  • Amount for production order goods receipt

How does the system determine the amount of the product order goods receipt for make to order product that uses variant configuration?
Meaning during sales order, the components are selected to make up that product.

It is using Sales Order cost estimate because it is only calculated when the items are selected in sales order.
If there are changes to the sales order, e.g. options are removed or added...
how do I make sure the GR take the new value?
I did the following test in QAS:
    - Production order is created but work not started. Production order deleted.
    - Make changes in sales order.
    - Re-do cost estimate in sales order. I do see that the calculated cost has changed.
    - Recreate production order and as per normal production steps
    - When do production order goods receipt, the value remains the old value and not the new one.
Did I missed out or do the wrong step?
However, that also does not help to explain why the value ended up as only $0.01 as same as MM costing view.

  • Not able to post goods receipt trcode MB1c

hi problem in posting the gr (mb1c)
when i am trying to post goods receipt i am getting the message
ctr1000/testcc is not assigned to a business area.
but when i am trying to assign a business area to cost centre testcc
it is giving the message that transaction data already exists.
please note 1000 is my co code
    1000 is my controlling area
test cc is my cost centre.

    Hi,
    Good afternoon and greetings,
I presume there should be a transaction already existing for that particular cost centre and that is the reason it is not allowing you to do the change...go to the cost centre reporting and reverse the old transaction and then make the changes and post the new transaction using MB1C.
Please reward points if found useful.
    Thanking you,
    With kindest regards

  • Cancelling Goods Receipt and Using of Batch Number

    Hello,
i did a wrong goods receipt with the MIGO and canceled after two days the material document with movement typ 102.The Material uses a Batch number.
Now i want to use the old Batch number to do the right goods receipt, but the System says that the Batch number already exists.
I thought when i cancel the material document i can use the old Batch number.
I would be happy about every message.

SAP does not stop you from re-using an existing batch number. The message that you get is in a SAP standard delivery just a warning, as it is from a business process unusual that the same batch can be received multiple times.
If it is an error in your case, then somebody in your organization has changed the message attributes. so you should talk to them (see the change log in your DEV system) to know why this was done and  what the solution for your case could be
