On iPad when selecting mail getting multiple boxes saying "Cannot Get Mail" cannot connect to server. However, mail appears to be working fine ? Ca not figure why this is happening ?

I am having problems downloading Mozilla Firefox. I select download and wait - then I select run. My computer then says it can't verify the site do I want to run anyway. When I select yes, an error box displays saying that the file is corrupt.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

I have the same problem with my 3rd gen Apple TV. I can preview iTunes movies, stream from my Mac, Airplay from my other devices but I cannot rent a movie on iTunes. Ah, well, then the notes are probably gone. Did you save any of the email from that account on your computer? The notes might be there if you did.

This is normal when downloading app or purchasing music, books etc. what are you doing when you are asked for the Apple ID and password?
Perhaps you signed out of your Apple ID in Settings. sign back in.

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?

What you are seeing is how Safari works now in iOS 5. There is no way to get that icon in Safari now. There other much better browsers available in the App Store. Look at iCab Mobile, Mercury, Atomic, ....

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

So I finally found the fix (for me anyway). I logged out of iCloud, restarted and then logged back in. As soon as I logged in the terms and conditions popped up and voila!
