One sender to 2 recievers

hello experts
I have a file sender that suppose to go to 2 recievers(RFC and Mail).
I pretty sure that I can define 2 reciever agreements and 2 communication channels in order to do it (I dont think you need to use BPM).
does any one know a good link or have the steps how to do it?
Thanks
Kfir

Hii
It is possible to achieve this without using BPM. Have a look at the Blog

  • One sender two recievers

    hi friends,
i have a object .i want to send 100 recordes.i heve one sender ,two recievers. i send 100 recordes two two recievers.first 50 are to first sender and remain are to second records.i dont know how to design and how to configure pls help on this with simple example.
    advance thanks

    Hi,
try this if it is possible,
Give numbering to records from 1 to 100.Add one key filed like 'recordno' in your source stucture and get the record number into  'recordno' field in source structure.
you can identify the record number using context object.
in context object u can specify the condition like recordno<50 or recordno>50.
    if recordno<50 --> rec1
    if recordno>50 --> rec2
u can assign above two conditions in reciever determination.
for context object refer below links:

    hi
you are creating the file to file scenarios
    create the IR
    and then create the ID
you are creating the one sender and n number of receiver for that you just give the condtion in interface determination
that is some condition satisfy then data goes to the perticular receiver
    and just check it
I hope your prob will solved
    thanks

  • Can we have one sender and mutliple receivers in XI processing

    Hello,
I will explain a scenario where you will have one sender channel and mutliple receiver channels.
There is a sender channel along with Sender Agreement where u mention the interface name and namespace.
There are two receiver channels along with two Receiver Agreements one for each with different interface names and namespaces also.
Now the processing is like this,
Sender sends some data and depending upon the agreements the corresponding receiver receives the data.
Will the process is correct or is there any other way to run the scenario?
    Thanks,
    Prakash

    Hi Prakash chitti,
Of course the scenario that you were telling is possible.. Take the case of file-to-multiple file scenario, where single file sends the source xml and multiple receivers gets the file.. For that you need to have
    1: one sender channel
    2: two receiver channel
    3: one sender agreement
    4: two receiver agreement
    5: One interface determiniation
    6: One receiver determination
at the receiver determination, goto the tab 'Configured Receivers', and specify the number of recievers; and ensure they are present at the 'Configuraton overview for Receiver Determination'..
You can even set conditions for receiver determination from the source point..
    This will help you.
    Thanks

  • Need to use only one sender and receiver communication channel.

    Hello Experts.
I have a scenario where in I have to use only one sender and receiver communication channel to push files from different source directories to different receiver directories.
    For Eg;
    Sender
    D://dir1/file1 --->                  E://dir1/File1
    F://dir2/file2 ---->                 G://dir2/file2
    H://dir3/file3----->                 I://dir3/file3.
Can this be achieved by using pass through scenario?
Please let me know if the requirement is not clear.
    Thanks in advance.
    Advit Ramesh

    Hi Advit,
I think it is possible. You have to use the Advanced Selection for Source file in the sender channel to define multiple files to be picked up. Also, the Dynamic configuration must also be enabled and used in the mapping so you can manipulate the target directory and target file name based on your source files.

  • One sender and two receiver

    Hi All,
I have a scenario in which there is only one outbound Message interface and 2 inbound message interfaces ( one sender and two receiver). In XI, how can i configure the interface determination for this? Shall i need to put * for receiver and add 2 inbound message interfaces and interface mappings.
    Thanks
    Michael

Use xpath in your interface determination in case you have some conditions, else u can *** multiple interfaces in your int. det.. also ref:

  • How do I select multiple messages from one sender in mobile email to delete them all at once?

I know how to select all of the new messages and mark as read. Now how would I do that if I wished to delete all from one sender or have the same subject, after I search the sender or subject?

    Hey Koyster,
Great question. Utilizing iCloud.com, we may be able to purge these emails in a much faster way:
    iCloud: Delete email
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2651
    Delete messages
    - On your Mac, Shift-click to select multiple adjacent messages or Command-click to select multiple nonadjacent messages.
    - On your Windows computer, Shift-click to select multiple adjacent messages or Control-click to select multiple nonadjacent messages.
    Thanks,

  • More than one sender structure assigned to receiver structure R_*

We are doing a time based reduction using TDMS 3.0.
At the phase called " assign domain rules", we get warning (not error):
"more than one sender structure assigned to receiver structure R_*".
I have searched SND and SMP, google as well but no thread is found for this warning.
    How to fix this problem?
    Thanks!

    Hi David,
They basically are referring to some of TDMS tables where the data type of the header table is different when compared to the underlying child table. The header table refers to TDMS own table for which the data element has been deliberately changed to hold data from other tables as well. This warning will not have any effect. You can ignore them.

  • FTP Adapter batching multiple files in one send

    Hello,
I'd like to set up a process in XI to allow me to group all files into one batch message and send the group all in one send every thirty minutes.  This is an FTP adapter.
Do I need to work through a BPM to do this?  Is there a good blog or forum topic on this?
    Thanks,
    Matt

That is exactly what I was looking for.  Thanks.
I will test with the BPM and if the performance becomes and issue I will try your suggestions.
    Thanks,

Ok now I get your requirement.
you cant achieve this -  how one receiver channel can put in two location if you dont have a dynamic configuration defined i.e Adapter specific attributes.
easy way - involve IR mapping
    else
have a adapter module to define your dynamic configuration.
    Ref: /people/daniel.graversen/blog/2006/10/05/dynamic-configuration-in-adapter-modules & /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2006/10/09/xi-dynamic-configuration-in-adapter-modules--one-step-further
Set the dynamic directory/file name etc for your receiver adapter.

Do you have MS Office installed? If not, you need to either:
    1) buy a compatible copy of MS Office†, or
    2) get one of the free, open-source Office-compatible packages like LibreOffice.
We possibly can offer further enlightenment if you tell us more about tyour iMac. Do "About this Mac" from the Apple menu and post what the resulting window says about your Mac OS version and the processor type.

  • 2 file to file scenarios and one sender channel

    hello there,
i am implementing 2 file to file scenarios. referring to the below link i have 'by-pass' integration repository in order to perform my file to file transfer since both the input and output files have the same structure, hence no mapping is required.
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=%28J2EE3417500%29ID0036662950DB01052533299951691312End?blog=/pub/wlg/4383 --> How to send any data (even binary) through XI, without using the Integration Repository
as seen in the link provided above, it is mentioned to provide a 'dummy' interface and namespace as no such things were created in the IR.
Now i have a second development which perform the same task(file 2 file) however the naming and source/target directory for the second one differs fromt eh first.
that is for the first one the source directory is srcroot/folder1/ and for the secon one is  srcroot/folder2
the  target for the first scenario is  trtroot/folder1 and second is trtroot/folder2.
i wanted to use the same sender channel, making use of the advanced features to pick the files from the different directories, however the scenario always put my files, even those from srcroot/folder2, in the first target folder that is in trtroot/folder1 instead of trtroot/folder2.
one easy way of doing this, is to create channels for each scenario, but if possible i want to use one sender channels for both, is that possible for my scenarios?
    can anyone please advise me?
if there is a better way, you are welcome to share it with me.
    thank in advance.

    Hi,
You can pick the data using same sender channel.
But there are two ways of putting the files to their corresponding destinatios:
1)Using 'Adapter Specific Message Attribute' in communication channel.
But for this to work you have write UDF in your mapping, but as you are not using IR part, this approach can't be used.
    2) Another way is, you can use variable substitution method, where the values of the target directory is populated by payload of the incoming file.
If this is not possible, then there is no way but to define 2 diffrent communication channels for receiver.

  • File-XI-File:one sender channel, multiple receiver channels on same BS

    Hi !
We need to send some files from one server to another. On the source, the filenames have a fixed prefix and a timestamp. On the target, the files should have a fixed name (time stamp trimmed). We would like to use one sender channel with the advanced file selection option and for example 3 receiver channels, each channel for each fixed filename. All destination channels are for the same business service. And because we do not need mapping, and want to improve performance, we don't use the repository.
Is this possible? or because this only a 3 files scenario, we should make it as 3 different scenarios, each with its own sender and receiver channels?
    Thanks,
    Matias

    Hey
    >>But Ahmad, as mentioned in the blog, XI scenario without IR can be used only if it's non xml mesage. Is that right?
can you please tell me where it says this:)
is it this line which is confusing you <b>"Contrary to popular believe, the message or document sent thru XI does NOT have to be in XML format"</b> ?
well it just means that you can send any data(.jpeg,.pdf xml .xls or anything) by doin the bypass scenario.
IDOC's are something which can give u problems if you dont do IR steps(specially mapping)coz a lot of values need to be hard coded.but suppose ur doing a async File to RFC,then i guess you can do that by using the bypass scenario.
i won't count on bypass scenarios for all of my requirements, but yeah if both source and target have exactly same data type i will give it a shot, irrespective of the interface i m integrating.
    Thanx
    Ahmad

  • Images do not display at placeholder location from one sender.

When I receive emails with images from one sender, who uses a tablet, the headings appear in a list then there are placeholders for each image and then the images show with only an ID for each image.
This one sender is the only one I have seen this happen to.
When i download and open the email in Outlook it works OK.

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:
*Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
*Restart the operating system in '''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_mode safe mode with Networking]'''.
