One user can't get Outlook to work

Hi,
We have one user who is having problems with Outlook. It started a few weeks ago, and no one else is having the same problem. It says "The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online to complete this action"
Environment:
Outlook 2010
Windows 7
Exchange 2010
What i've tried:
1. Repairing the Outlook installation
2. Running anti-virus full scan, which revealed that there were viruses on this computer!
3. Making sure the workstation can ping the Exchange server. It can, but Outlook can't reach the Exchange server.
4. Running scanpst or whatever it is. It found problems and I choose the repair option.
5. Uninstalled Office 2010 then reinstalled it
I've run out of ideas really, and have tried pretty much everything that googling found. Any ideas?

See if the user can use Outlook on a different PC, and whether OWA works for them (see if it
is definitely a problem with their workstation, or with their mailbox
They were using OWA as a workaround from their workstation, then started using Outlook on their laptop and that worked. So OWA works for them and Outlook works from
a different computer.
Run
the Test
Email Autoconfiguration wizard to see if it reports any errors
Is it possible to run this while Outlook is going through the setup wizard? I haven't seen this while it was configuring, so i haven't tried that.
Try
destroying their profile and letting Outlook recreate it. You could rename the AppData folder to do this
I went through Ctrl Panel > Mail, and removed their profile, and then ran the Outlook wizard several times. Although, i haven't tried that since uninstalling/reinstalling Outlook. I will try that next week when this user is available. Is this sufficient,
or should I rename the AppData folder like you said?
Check that Outlook has RPC
Encryption configured correctly - Compare to a user who is working
Running Get-RpcClientAccess on the Exchange server shows

    If it's showing the red disabled screen due to incorrect passcodes then you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad via your computer's iTunes and restore/resync your content to it

    i <3 Homesharing. I enabled it at home, and where I work I use a mac so I enabled it on that computer as well so I can listen to my own music library while on breaks/lunch =)

    You can also remap the command to a single key:
    System Preferences, Keyboard, Shortcuts, Screenshots, select one of the options (like save picture of selected area), to an unused Fkey (I use F13 on my wired keyboard).  1 key screenshot.

    I'm sorry to hear you are having issues downloading some episodes to your iPad.
    I would first suggest you sign out of your iTunes account on your iPad, restart the device and sign back in.
    Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID account > Tap Sign Out
    Click on the link below for additional troubleshooting steps with more details and screenshots.

    If it's not an Airprint enabled printer, you can not natively through your iPad.  BUT, there are apps you can purchase in the App Store, like Print Central ($9), which is what I use myself and works well for my needs.

    If that is disabled then there is nothing saved and nothing to delete.<br />

    Snow Leopard breaks quite a few drivers - my Canon exhibited the same problem.
    I eventually found updated drivers on the Canon website. You can try that with the HP, but if the all-in-one is more than a year or so old, don't hold your breath.
    You can also try Software Update to see if it will offer new drivers, or failing that go to the Support Downloads site and search for HP updates.
    In fact there's a new one for HP at the top of the list just now.
    You may not necessarily want the latest one, though - check the specs to see if your model is covered; if not, search for the previous update etc.

    Hey, problem solved. One of the drives was faulty. I erased the 2nd drive (which was showing up as the degraded raid slice), deleted the RAID set and restored the 2nd drive from a back-up disk image. After that, when I booted using 'option' I was presented with two boot disks but only one that worked. And when it did boot  up only the reformatted disk was showing in Diskutil so I'm guessing the second one is knackered. With it still in place the server still wouldn't boot up from a full shutdown, but the moment it was removed it booted up no probs. Wakes up from sleep as well so it seems sorted.
    So now just need to decide whether I'll bother with replacing the second drive or just use an external back-up. I have just bought a 1TB drive to back up to so will probably just go with that.
    Btw, is there anyway I can test the drive I removed to see if can be saved?
    Thanks for all your help. Your siamese twin comment was the push I need to erase the drive, I'd be holding off before that.

    I created a demo workflow template with 2 userdecisions. The agent of the 1st is myself, and the agent of the other is another user USR001. Their possible agents are set general. I executed the workflow and found I could get the workitem in my inbox and approved, but USR001 can not get his workitem then. I checked the workflow log and found the agent USR001 get the item in the AGENTS icon. But in the grahical log, I found the status of the 2nd userdecision is 'READY' and (NO AGENT). Both of the two user (me and USR001) have SAP_ALL authorization. Then I logged on by another user and found the same problem: the user can only get the workitem of himself . And there is no error in the STEP HISTORY in technical details.
    So I have the following questions:
    1 Are there any configuration missed in the system?
    2 I want to know whether there are some documents about the basic configuration of workflow, such as  assignment of  the USER ROLE, necessary confuguration for development and use of workflow.

    READY and NO AGENT just means that no agent has executed the step yet. Click on the Agents icon to see which agents it has been sent to.

            /usr/bin/drutil eject

  • Can't get X to work properly (ATI AIW 9800)

    I have a few problems. My first problem is this. The dpi was messed up when i first install, so i thought no big deal, I'll just go and configure the defaultserverargs setting in the startx script to "-dpi 75". This does not seem to work. Secondly,I can't get gnome to work as my default window manager. I put this line in my .xinitrc file in my home directory:
    exec gnome-session
    I also tried this:
    exec /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-session
    My last problem is that when i try to install the ati fglrx drivers with the stock kernel arch package but whenever the fglrx module is called, it says that the module doesn't exist. One thing i might mension which might be of importance is that i compiled a custom kernel during install without SMP and preemtivity so i could use my rt2500 wireless card.     sinisterguy:  You're going to need to build your own kernel module, afaik you can't just symlink a module built for another kernel and expect it to work.
    As root, run
    abs
    Once that's done (it'll check out a bunch of stuff from cvs), change to your normal user and either make a directory for the new package, or cd to some temp directory, then:
    cp /var/abs/extra/modules/ati-drivers-arch/* .
    vim PKGBUILD
    then make the following changes:
    pkgname=ati-drivers-arch

    pkgname=ati-drivers-custom
    (or whatever you want to call the package)
