One warehouse with three cost centers

Dear GURUs,
We are facing a problem while doing following activity
1. We have one warehouse (suppose 2465), which is sending material to three sales offices(2415,2416,2417) from sales office the material is dispatched to customer.
2.(Old setting)We have assigned the each sales office to each cost center & profit center is taken through material at plant.
3. (new setting) Profit center is removed from material master .  
4. While sending a material from warehouse to sales office customer ,we are putting the profit center at sales order field.System automatically picking the profit center which is entered in the sales order.
  5. But at same time if freight or any other condition(discount or rounding off) is put then system is picking warehouse as cost center
But we require respective sales office cost center
Note: Customer's sales office should be considered as a cost center as material will be dispached directly from warehouse to customer.

Generaly you cannot assign WC to 2 different cost center unless the period is different.
Then the only solution is let the cost get posted to 1 common cost centre. Then at the month end distribute the cost to 2 different cost centers depending on then qty produced.
This is the one laternative we are following.

  • Update One Table with three Apply Processes

    Hi.
    I have One Database Target with three APPLY processes updating a same table. Each APPLY process refer to a Source Capture remote process.
    But I am verifying there is no update in the table when change data on Sources Databases. This table has a PK with two columns.
    Someone has idea about this problem, and how to resolve it?

    In this case you have two create at least two completely new separted accounts (with its own email address, etc.). You can create a limited number of new iCloud accounts on each iOS device or Mac. Therefor go to...
    iPhone/iPad (iOS 5): "Settings > iCloud" or "Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > iCloud"
    Mac (Lion or Mountain Lion): "System Preferences > iCloud" or "System Preferences  > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > iCloud"

  • Territory Management - Looking for integration with ERP Cost Centers

    We are exploring using Territory management in CRM 7.0.  However, the hierarchy structure is really the same as our cost center structure in ERP.  The Business does not want to have to maintain this information twice.  Is there some way to update one from the other?  Or is there any integration between the two?

    When we were first looking at automation/customization with Initiatives, the challenge was how different each project plan was. With all the different layouts and formats that different project leaders used in different areas of the same company, it make it impossible to come up with some way of standardizing how to get the data into Initiatives. If you were looking at bringing in the data to a table first, that would certainly solve that format issue.
    Initiatives aren't populated with data from PAS, instead they are created manually in the system. There are pop-up boxes involved as well. I need to do some further research into how you could best do this.
    This would be a customization.

  • Several cost centers in one sales order

    The situation is.
    Weu2019ve got the task to find solution how to create sales order document with several cost centers.
    Now we use order reason to assign cost center in sales order.
    We use only one order reason in one document and it means one cost center in one sales order document.
    But we need to have opportunity to choose several cost centers. We mean assign different cost center for each item.
    For example sales order items:
    Material 1: Electricity u2013 X1 (cost center u2013 Y1);
    Material 2: Gas u2013 X2 (cost center u2013 Y2 );
    Material 3: Petrol u2013 X3 (cost center u2013 Y3);

    Material n: Services u2013 Xn (cost center - Yn).
    The document sequence :Quotation (VA21) -> SALES order (VA01) -> Billing (VF01)
    Could you give me the recommendation or advice for this task?

    The Cost Center Determination settings is in OVF3, the standard works only at the header level though, so it would not work if cost center is needed on the line item.
    For this case I suggest to try from CO view:
    A material is linked to a profit center. From this profit center you can determine a cost center using txn OKB9
    In combination with the material's account assignment field and account determination customizing, an alternate revenue account can be determined for this material. ("Normal" revenue accounts are to be used in combination with CO-PA).
    If this account is a cost element with category type "1" you need the entries in OKB9.

  • Multiple cost centers postings in RE-FX.

    Hello everyone!
    We are currently implementing SAP Flexible Real Estate solution to manage the company's properties. We are facing some problems regarding the distribution of rental costs among multiple costs centers. Our scenario is basically this (example):
    1)In our usage view we have one building with three rental spaces connected to it. Each rental space has different area-measurements and represents different segments in our company (with a specific cost-center associated to it).
    2)The company doesn`t own the building, the structure is rented from a person outside the organization. In this case we`ve created a Commercial lease-in type of contract (external contract, where the company is the user of the object).
    3)This contract contains the three rental spaces mentioned above, and we've configured the contract condition to distribute the rental costs among these objects based on the area measurement.
    4)When we perform transaction RERAPP for this contract to pay the vendor we`ve noticed that even though the costs where divided among the objects, the cost-centers were not updated.
    Considering that the contract doesn't have a cost center field in it and also considering that we have to update multiple cost-centers (with a distribution criteria based on measurements), we would like to know if someone have this kind of problem before?
    We are using an older version of the SAP System(4.7) that doesn't offer as many options as more recent versions (such as 6.0)

    Hi,
    In this case, instead of Cost centres, Real estate Objects will act as the Cost carriers. No need for Cost centres at all.
    Since the Real Estate Objects master data contain Profit centre field, the values posted to Real estate Objects will be automatically carried to the Profit centres as well.
    During Periodic processing of Real Estate Contracts, the system will automatically post to the Transfer and Posting. During transfer posting values will be posted from Real Estate Contract to the Real estate Object.
    You can track costs and revenues through Real Estate Objects directly, No need for Cost centres at all.

  • Create cost centers under a center

    Hi Gurus
    Can someone help me with this issue.
    My PP colleague wants to have three cost centers C1,C2,C3 created under Cost center A. The three cost centers represent robots used in production. He wants to have production of these robots roll up to cost center A. My problem is I cannot remember how to create a cost center under another cost center, let alone three of them under the same cost center.
    Please help asap

    There is no such feature in SAP.. You can just have a Cost center group (KSH1) for reporting purposes.. There is no concept of Cost cneter under a Cost center

  • Substitute Cost Centers

    Hello,
    I need help with substitution cost centers.
    Our positions default a cost center on IT0001.  This is the employee's master cost center. We also use IT0027.  This is where we want the expenses to go to.
    Our issue is this: If a cost center is blocked or closed it fails during FI posting.  I was reading other threads and it was suggested to use a substitute cost center set up.
    I have done this in our test environment and it is not working. We blocked an employee's cost center (the one on IT0027) and added a substitute cost center via the IMG. When I ran the PC00_M99_CIPE again, it still errored out.
    What am I missing?
    Please help since this is a big issue for us.

    I think FI will write substitution rule for your original cost center and then whatever posting you will direct to original cost center will get posted to substitute cost center.
    I am always referring your previous threads about this and I don't think you will be doing retro every pay period to your blocked cost center.
    Regardless, just run query to see the EE's in your original cost center (of course this will not be useful to FI) to do some audit on HCM side. Posting program will take care of everything.

    When we create a Material Reservation, we give the cost center at the header level and that cost center is accounted for each of the line items in the reservation. But when the reservation has many line items which depend on different cost centers,  there is a need to enter different cost centers for different line items in the same Material Reservation. How can this be done? Please suggest.

    It's a standard restriction in SAP functionality  where one reservation document can only accommodate one cost center.
    You can not maintain multiple cost centres for individual line items.
    You have to create seperate Reservations for each cost centre.

    In OKC7 you can define validations to check the relationship in CO and FI postings. You can use exit RGGBR001 for custom code.  You could set this relationship up in a table and then check that.

  • Multiple Cost Centers in PO

    When a PO is entered with Multiple Cost Centers, and Account Assignment Cateogry K,  the GR Non-Valuated indicator in the item details (Delivery Tab), gets checked automatically. This caused the subsequent GRN to be non valuated as well and no accounting document were posted at the time of GRN. How can this be rectified ? i.e How to enter a PO with multiple cost centers and Acct Assignment Category K, which is valuated and thus costs are allocated at the time of GRN  (mvt type 101) ?

    You GR is not valuated for  Cost center PO as GR Non-Valuated Check box selected for cost object K which can be cross checked in OME9 t.code for account assignment category K,if want GR valuated, just remove the check box and create PO, do GR and find the difference.
    As you want to post multiple accounts with single cost center, then use t.code:OME9, double click K, and enter 2 in I 1D-Acct assignment field instead of 1 and save. Now create PO, do GR and find the difference.

  • Difference between SKFs for Cost Centers and Profit Centers

    Dear All,
    Three cost centers A,B and C have two profit centers say X and Y assigned. When we run SKFs report for Cost Centers - S_ALR_87013645 total for all the Cost centers is say 30 (81210). When I run the report S_ALR_87013342 for Profit Centers SKF break down total is 30. However break up is not matching. Cost Center A and B have Profit Center X and C has Profit Center Y. Ideally in PCs break down for SKFs must be X = 20 and Y=10. However this is not the case. Total is tallying but the break up is not tallying. Y has total of say 25.
    Cost Center C has profit center assignment changed in the middle of the year. Is the difference because of changing the PC assignment to CC in the middle of the year/in between? Do we need to adjust the SKF numbers for incorrect PCs in 9KE5?
    Is there any other way to correct the difference instead of posting in 9KE5? Please help.
