My configuration on the RV220W is as follows:
VPN Policy:
Auto Policy
Remote endpoint is an IP address with 108.58.YY.YY
Local traffic is a subnet
Remote traffic is a single IP (same as above)
Encryption/hash settings are: 3DES, SHA1, no PFS key group, SA lifetime of 3600
IKE Policy:

Main mode
Local and Remote use explicit IP addresses

    Hi,
    Your config is IMHO wrong.
You need to set smtp.googlemail.com in the SCOT settings and to remove it from icm/server_port_2.
You also need connectivity between your SAP server and smtp.googlemail.com.
There are 99% chances out of 100, that you need to open firewalls rules and/or set proxy servers.
Check that with your network team.
    Regards,
    Olivier

Fatal error: Call to undefined function odbc_connect() in /var/www/html/waseem.php on line 20
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is the problem with oci_connect or odbc_connect?
The phpinfo() output shows '--without-unixODBC' which may be a root cause. There is no 'odbc' section shown in the phpinfo() output so I wouldn't expect odbc calls to work.
But if the issue is with OCI8, then make sure that Oracle environment variables and LD_LIBRARY_PATH are set BEFORE starting Apache.
More information on OCI8 and PHP is in http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/php/underground-php-oracle-manual.html

  • Builtin Cisco VPN not connecting - solution (albeit a very crappy one)

So I've been trying for a day to get Snow Leopard to connect to the Cisco VPN concentrator at work (dunno which model).
Today I was able to get a bit more detail by editing /etc/syslog.conf to enable debug logging to system.log and edit /etc/racoon/racoon.conf to uncomment the debug log line (racoon is the Cisco client).
This is the error that surfaced:
    ERROR: failed to get subjectAltName
With racoon's debug2 logging on I was able to see the problem when the server's cert was displayed: the Subject Alternative Name field is blank. Now there's no way for me to get this fixed on the server side - I work for a 250,000 person organization and a change like that would take me being an executive and months of bureaucracy to get through. So here's what I did incase anyone else needs this and doesn't mine extreme kludgery:
First I needed to capture the configuration file that was generated at connect time:
    sudo su -
while true; do cp /var/run/racoon/*.conf /tmp/; done
Hit connect just after typing this a few times, then ctrl-c in the terminal to stop it
You should hopefully have a file named /tmp/<ip>.conf where ip is the resolved ip address of your vpn server. Copy this file to /etc/racoon/ and edit it.
Change "verify_cert on" to "verify_cert off" and comment out the next line ("certificate_verification") with a #
Finally, edit /etc/racoon/racoon.conf. At the end, comment out the line 'include "/var/run/racoon/*.conf" ;' and add the line 'include "/etc/racoon/<yourfile>" ;'
This solution totally blows cause any configuration change requires a repeat of the procedure and also prevents you from having multiple VPNs configured without doing this for each of them. Suggestions welcome.

    Hi
Could it be that your VPN assigned network of /16 overlaps with your host route?  Are you able to change the mask on your split tunnel network to /24 or are you using the whole /16 subnet?

  • Attendant Console could not connect to server after upgrade

    All,
I upgraded a BE CUCM/Unity Connection server from 6.1.2.1000-13 to 6.1.4.2190-3 and after the upgrade, the AC client software could not connect to the CUCM server.  After checking all of the obvious things and rebooting the computer on which AC client was running, I finally figured out a workaround.  The CUCM server was configured with a host name of UCM1 and a domain of localdomain.  The AC clients were pointing to UCM1.  If I added a record in the client's hosts file (%WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\hosts) which pointed UCM1.localdomain to the IP address of the CUCM server and then pointed the AC client to UCM1.localdomain, everything worked great.  I'm just wondering why this happened.  The client must pass the name of the server in the payload (rather than simply using the name to resolve to an IP address).  So why, all of a sudden, does the server care about the FQDN?  Just curious if anybody knows or has run into this same issue.
    Regards,
    Steven

    Hazel,
Any chance you could send me a Wireshark capture of the traffic coming to/from one of the affected client PCs during the login process?  Also, please include any log files in the client's AC application folder (or sub-folders) as well as event log data from the system and application event log for the timeframe spanning slightly before and after the login attempt.
Also before doing any of this please clear the DNS and ARP cache of the client PC:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    arp -d *

    Steven

  • Connect ShrewSoft vpn client to Cisco RV220W

    Hi ,
I can't get QuickVPN work with Cisco RV220W router, so configured ShrewSoft vpn client
to connect to router with xauth advanced vpn configuration. It established tunnel , but no any ping is working from client to office computers or even
to router IP (gateway) . What is wrong with my setup ?
"Basic VPN Setup" doesn't allow me to save new "VPN client" : it throws strange error "IPsec VPN configuration
has failed as the remote end point is already in use" .
I attached example of xauth advanced vpn configuration
    Thanks
    Alex

    Hi Luis ,
I did many checks on different Windows XP/7 through different ISP's of QuickVPN , according a lot of Cisco and community documents with same negative result , that it can't ping remote gateway .
QuickVPN requires so many things to configure and check , that turns it to be impossible for use in company.
I wanted to configure client-to-gateway VPN with IPsec xauth , that is supported by Cisco Small Business routers.
Finally i configured client-to-gateway IPsec remote connection using both ShrewSoft and TheGreenBow 3d party VPN application. It was just matter to turn local host (VPN client) adapter mode to virtual with static IP address in subnet , different from remote (gateway) subnet.
    Thanks
    Alexey

  • Cisco WAP4410N - not configurable as Wireless Client with WRT610N?

    Hi!
On several workstations I use multiple network to
1 - access Internet and share Printers
2 - communicate within the local area
The second WLAN I need for several NDAS devices.
Due to their own LPX-Protocol these NDAS devices don't work properly with MAC address cloning. In combination with several access points or clients from other manufacturers Wireless N transmission does not work.
So in WLAN 2 I use the Cisco Linksys WRT 610N Router with 2.4 Ghz WLAN.
I intended to use the Cisco WAP4410N in Client Mode to connect a workstation with this router and set up NDAS connection.
Other workstations will directly connect to the router via Cisco Linksys WUSB-600N.
The connection from WUSB-600N to WRT610N works perfectly.
    My problem is:
The WAP4410N does not connect to a wireless Network in Client Mode.
(It is not a problem of Channel configuration, Security or Signal strength - because if I connect my workstation via WUSB-600 this works instantly.)
If setup as an access Point it will start up sending competing to my router.
In Network Status it shows no received packages.
In Wireless Client/Repeater Mode there is no connection either.
    My question is:
Is the WAP4410N not designed to be used as a Wireless Client?
An if it was - how is it to be set up as one?
    Thanks

regarding mountain lion server: clients experience intermittent service connections. the server system log has the following error- Client handshake failed (6):113: Server not accepting client connections. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thank you

    Hi Jason
I was getting the same behavior after Apple support had me delete some plist files to get Airplay going. I was also getting the following error:
the error occurred while processing a command of type 'writesettings' in the plug-in 'server vpn'
I went into ~/Library/Preferences/ and /Library/Preferences/ and deleted every plist contating the word server. I had to re-set up my server (meaning walk through some intial steps) but all of my settings were still there after that and everything started working again.
Just a thought, obviously try at your own risk but it worked for me.

The above trace repeating all the time when I try to deploy.
Can any body tell whether is it a configuration problem or any application problem. Also on the same server another j2ee application is deploying successfully.
    Thanks a lot,
    Gangadhar.

    Hai,
Thanks Brandelik, actually the problem was coming because of java.lang.outOfMemory exception during compilation time.
As of now I am not able to fix that problem. I am changing all the available options for memory settings.
Anybody please help me how to set the memory parameters for deploying an application. My application needs minimum of -Xmx512m for deployment on oracle10g server.
    Thanx,
    Gangadhar.

    User has TFS admin access.
Same user id used for configuring Test Agent.
    Description:
Test controller is installed on server A. I want to install test agent on client machine B.
Windows Fire wall is OFF on both Machines A & B. While configuring Test Agent below error is occurred:
“Test Agent could not connect to the test controller”
In log file error was “I, 2015/04/02, 15:32:21.723, Could not get the status from the test agent. Exception: Failed to connect to an IPC Port: The system cannot find the file specified.”
In Event viewer below error details given:

    Hi Kanchan,
So on each computer, you create a local user account that is a member of the Administrators group, and use the same account and password on each machine(controller and Agent), am I right?
Could you enable the detailed log message?

met a similar issue before which was related to the Firewall exceptions, maybe you could refer to it here:

  • MBP upgraded to Yosemite and now will not connect to Internet using a Cisco router

I Upgraded my MBP mid 2010 to Yosemite and now it will not connect to Internet using a system that involves typing in my user name and password in an auto pop up window provided by Cisco security systems. Before, using Mavericks, it worked perfectly: boot up MBP and the Cisco pop up auto loaded. Typed it my password and hey presto, connected to Internet. Now, zilch. There is nothing wrong with the Cisco cos my iPad connects ok, as do both my iPhone's.
the problem is with Yosemite therefore. Please help. I tried all the usual diags, etc to no avail.

Sounds like there could be some kind of compatibility issue between ICS and this Bluetooth device of yours. Is there any compatibility info from the manufacturer about which Android versions that's being supported?

  • SFTP receiver error: putFile: Could not connect to remote host; Reason: Unable to open Sftp client. SshReasonCode: CHANNEL_FAILURE

    Hi,
When we try to send file over seeburger SFTP (receiver) we are getting the error as below.
Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: >> Description: SFTP transaction error occured.>> Details: putFile: Could not connect to remote host; Reason: Unable to open Sftp client. SshReasonCode: CHANNEL_FAILURE>>SendingStatus: NOT_TRANSMITTED>>FaultCategory: COMMUNICATION_ERROR>>Retryable: true>>Fatal: true, >> Description: SFTP transaction error occured.>> Details: putFile: Could not connect to remote host; Reason: Unable to open Sftp client. SshReasonCode: CHANNEL_FAILURE>>SendingStatus: NOT_TRANSMITTED>>FaultCategory: COMMUNICATION_ERROR>>Retryable: true>>Fatal: true
But we are able to connect through filezilla . we are able to create and delete file using the same username and password which is being used in SFTP adapter.
we have imported the both dsa and rsa keys in SFTP partner folder in NWA. Even though we are getting same error.
    Thanks,

  • Starting Blend when client not connected to internet?

I've recently started experimenting with Blend with my Z30 and my laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise sp1; Blend Windows client v.1.1.0.17, Blackberry Blend app v.1.1.0.67 on the Z30.
One thing we'd like to do is to use it in places where we have no internet access other than through the mobile network on the Blackberry. Essentially tethering only for Blend.
Blend works fine if the laptop is connected to the internet, the Z30 connected to the mobile network, and the two are connected by USB. Once Blend is connected, I can then disconnect the laptop from the internet, but leave the phone connected to the laptop via USB, and Blend continues working without any problems, using only the mobile network.
However, if the laptop is not connected to the internet when I actually start Blend, I generally cannot get it to connect at all. I plug the Z30 into the laptop, start Blend, and it will go through Discovering, Connecting, Verifying Secure Connection, then end up with a "Can't Connect" message.
I say "generally" because Blend will connect if I try to do it within a very short time after disconnecting the laptop from the internet. It won't work, however, if, for example, I start up or resume the laptop somewhere where I don't have an internet connection for the laptop.
I'm guessing that the Blend client on the desktop does some initial verification prior to establishing the USB connection with the Z30 that requires an independent internet connection, and if it cannot do this it won't connect.
I also note that Blackberry Link on the laptop will crash if run when the laptop is not connected to the internet, and am guessing this might be related.
Can Blend be started when the only internet connection available is through the mobile network on the phone?
    -- BV

Following up on my earlier post; I also have a Playbook, and one of the most useful features is Blackberry Bridge, which provided similar functionality as Blend, though (only) over Bluetooth, and only between a Blackberry and the Playbook. Blend looks like it provides similary functionality, but on more devices, which is great.
Blackberry Bridge, however, does not require the Playbook to have an internet connection to work; I hoped Blend would work in the same way, thus my original post. FYI, I am a lawyer, and in my practice I am often at a tribunal or court where I do not have wifi access, and being able to use Blend to access my email and office intranet on the laptop would be a very useful feature.
I also note that Blend doesn't support Bluetooth; not a big deal, as a USB connection is fine, just curious. And I suppose that there is a good reason for the client requiring a separate internet connection, even if no one here seems to know why .
