Oracle 8i Lite program fails with JDev 3.1.1.2, on Win95

I'am having problems running my program with the latest JDeveloper 3.1.1.2. It worked fine with JDeveloper 3.1. I get an unsatisfiedLinkError which indicates that it can't find the native dll libraries. But I did everything written in the instructions. Patched the jdeveloper.ini file and add the path as a parameter to the project.
See for results below.
Hopefully anyone can help.

I found the problem.
Do not install the PATCH for Oracle 8i Lite on Windows 95, because it's really meant for NT. The PATCH caused the problem.

Please post details of application release, database version and OS.
Is the issue with one specific custom concurrent program? What is the type of this CP? Has this ever worked?
Please enable trace/debug as per (How To Trace a Concurrent Request And Generate TKPROF File (Doc ID 453527.1)) and see if more details are collected in the log then.

Oracle 10g DB create fails with jave.lang.StackOverflowError

wonder if you can help with my issue.
I'm trying to install oracle 10g on Redhat ES4 on a virtual machine (VMplayer) on a HP Elite Book laptop. I've set swapspace to 4GB and have 1.5 Gb of RAM allocated to the virtual machine.
I've set the ulimts and maxproc an the soft/hard nproc/nofile to appropraie values for the create.

I don't think it's a java problem at all.................
When I run dbca with the silent install I get the message
"waiting for m_bReaderStarted to be true" - which is never is.
So it isn't making a connection I suspect.
The loistenser also won't start.
10g is installed on linux es4 running on VM Player.
I think the proble ,ay be to do with when I start dbca (or the listener) it doesn't connect.
In /etc/hosts I have
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
and in the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora files i have the 'HOST = localhost.localdomain' (with post = 1521)
Is /etc/hosts and the ora files set correctly ?

Invoking 'Intercompany Transfer' program fails with IXFR0004

Hi all,
I'm facing a problem. I tried to invoke the above program from GIS but the request completed with a warning and the log file showed the error 'IXFR0004 - No transactions found to process'. But if i query the invoices for the period, in those screens it clearly states 'Transfer to Sender as No'
What may be the reason?

have followed steps outlined in document for installing oracle collaboration suite stand alone on Windows.
All proceeds well, until step 15.

First updated the schema of the Directory server. Can verify that the ctcal entries exists.
Sun ONE Directory Server 5.2 is up and running. Fresh install.
"cn=Directory Manager" can log in.
Restarted Sun ONE Directory Server. Same Result, FAILS
Have tried another Directory manager. FAILS
password correct for cn=Directory Manager.
What am I missing?
Have checked the LDAP logs of server.
uniaddnode isn't even attempting to query the LDAP. If there is no query than there can be no bind. If there is no bind there can be no entries and modifications.
TAR is open in metalink.
CSR is still investigating. They are giving me the "run-around". I can duplicate the problem on ANY server at ANY time.
Problem is independent of Sun ONE Directory Server 5.2 and iPlanet Directory Server 5.1 and 5.1SP3.
Help needed

1. edit the hosts file & add the hostname & ip address of the machine
2. run $ORACLE_HOME/local/bin/uniaddnode -n 1
3. retry the configuration assistant

Err. in programs copiled with Jdev 9.0.3 and run with Java Web Start

when I build my programs with Oracle9j JDeveloper 9.0.3.988 and I use them with Java Web Start, programs do not run, while when compiled with Oracle9j JDeveloper 9.0.2.x it runs without problems.
The Java version used in both cases is 1.4.0.

Is Oracle Lite 9i Compatible with Pentium IV?

We developed a product which uses Oracle Lite 9i DB.
We couldn't install the product in Pentium IV Platform.
I would like to know whether Oracle 9i Lite is Compatible with Pentium IV.
Any suggestions/Informations are welcome!

I don't have first hand experience with 9i Lite on a PIV, but it runs fine on my Athlon XP desktop and my PIII laptop. I can't imagine that the PIV is actually the problem - what exactly did you encounter?

I have downloaded Oracle 8i Lite V4 from the Oracle Website and
just tried to install it on my PC running Windows NT V4 and it
failed.
I ran the setup program and the Oracle Lite Installer started
up. After I entered in my Oracle Home, the Installer fails with
the following message "user.stp(352): PERMISSION_DENIED while
modifying CLASSPATH in $". Any ideas or suggestion on what to
do would be appreciated?

I am on working on Oracle Audit trail for mtl_system_item_b (ie. whenever item is changed, created or deleted , i want to track the data, who delete that item and wat item). I followed the below steps to perform that.
Steps 1:
sysadmin ->Security : AuditTrail->install. I checked weather audit trail is enabled for oracle inventory (ie, in screen i query for inv under oracle username tab and checked weather enabled box is checked).
Steps 2:
Creation of Audit group
navigation : AuditTrail ->Groups.
Application Name: Oracle Inventory
Audit Group: XX inventory
Group State: Enabled
I added audit tables to this group
User Table Name: MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B
Steps 3:
After creation of audit group i run the Concurrent program “*AuditTrail Update Tables*” . It has no parameter..
The request is ended with errored when i ran. Plz help me... Its urgent.
I checked with log file too. It has so many page. finally it displaying

Oracle 8i lite and palm pilots

So has Anyone been able to get Oracle 8i Lite to work with a Palm Pilot? I've been browing through some of the forums on 8i Lite and some form apps like Satellite Forms and it doesn't seem like anyone has had much success.

We haven't tried 8i Lite on a palmtop. But we are trying to use it over the Internet and we are having some problems. Have you used 8i Lite over the Internet?!?

I am installing OBIEE 11g on a WIN XP VM - 32bit, 2gb RAM.Configuration process failed with the following msg.

I am installing OBIEE 11g on a WIN XP VM - 32bit, 2gb RAM.Configuration process failed with the following msg.
