Order of af:resource

I have 2 javascript imports using af:resource in my page. We'll call them a.js and b.js. The b.js has dependencies on the a.js so I declared the af:resource for a.js first then followed by b.js. Oddly enough the actual order of <script> tags in the generated/rendered page is the reverse(e.g. b.js came before a.js). I have tried looking for the official documentation regarding the order af:resource declarations are actually processed but couldn't find any. Is there any guaranteed order for the af:resource?

Hi,
There's no guarantee to my knowledge. You could check the partitioning feature and include your files in the bootstrap one though maybe. You can check http://andyschwartz.wordpress.com/2008/10/14/hello-javascript-library-partitioning/ for an example.

  • Produce one planned order in more resources at same time

    Dear Experts,
My client uses PP-PI and he has a requirement for a line that he has 4 resources to do the same operation. We are using a class 019 to plan the resources as alternative resources, but he also wants in some cases to produce the same process order in more than one resource at the same time.
How can I produce the same process order in more resources and do not split the order?
    Thanks in antecipate
    Thiago Cyrillo

In the case of some special case, you could add some operation to the process order , assign it to the different resource and link the phases of these operations as parallel. You should also enter the operation quantity, this is the way that splitting takes place.

  • Changing Resource Order in Provisioned Resource Page

    Hi,
Is is possible to change the order of the Resources which are getting displayed in Provisioned Resource Page.Let us say I have 2 resources A and B .I always wanted to A first and then B ,in the Provisioned resource page of that user.Any clue on how to achieve this?.Thanks in Advance.

I think Oracle has already provided this. Just click on Resource Name there it will sorted first A and then B.
If you want to sort in some other way then you'll have to write your custom code to do that.

  • Massive change orders to Alterntive Resources in planned Orders

    Hi SAP Experts,
We would like to change a lot of orders from one resource to an alternative resource in the DS planning board. We can only do this order by order but in such case we already know that for a set of orders we have the same alternative resource so I would be easier to just select a lot of resources to move from one resource to another resource.
    Thanks and BR
    Mauricio

    Hi,
If you know the orders/operations, which are to be moved to alternative resource, you can select them using CTRL+click on those operations. Then by drag and drop, you can shift them to the alternative resource. While drag and drop also, you have to keep the CTRL key pressed.
    Hope this will help you.

  • SNP Planned order not following resource bucket capacity/factory calendar

    Hi gurus,
    SCM 5.0
I am running SNP heuristics for a product and expecting planned orders for it.  It has corresponding production data structure and multimixed resource.  The resource has an assignd factory calendar and SNP bucket capacity.  The bucket capactiy availablity dates of the resouce is consistent with the factory calendar workdays/holidays.  Using simple lot for lot strategy, I am expecting heuristics to schedule the planned orders on the dates of the demand in compliance with teh SNP bucket capacity availability of the resource.  APO does not schedule on holidays consistent with bucket capactiy.  This is true until...
We have a public holiday in factory calendar that needs to become a workday. To remedy this, we put a special rule for the factory calendar and explicitly made that holiday into a workday.  The changes were synchronized with APO, and this is also reflected in the bucket capacity of the resourc: former holiday now has bucket capacity after the calendar change.  However, when running heuristics, it still does not create SNP planned order on that former holiday that has been changed into workday.  Even if it is a public holiday, there is already a special rule for the factory calendar and the resource bucket capacity reflects this correctly. But SNP heuristics seems not to follow this change.
Any ideas on this? looks like a bug.

    Hi Edgar,
Yes, when your resource reflects the addional capacity of the holiday turned working day, then it is expected to be considered for the SNP planned order.
Instead of SNP heuristics, you may try to check interactively in SNP planning book, if manual order creation in the bucket works out.
Since this is a mutlimix  resource , it can also be checked if in PPDS planned order can be created on the day.
The above checking may not solve your problem , but will get to know if at least manully the bucket is being considered or not.

  • Task Line Numbers Move Out of Order When Adding Resource to a Task

I am using MS Project 2013 and we are in the process of setting up Project Server 2013.
When I add a resource to a task and close the summary task and re-open the task is moved to the bottom of that section and the line numbers are out of order.
For example line number 382 is the third task under the summary task.  When I add a resource, hide the subtasks and then expand the subtasks line number 382 is now at the bottom after line 389.  The line numbers then go 381, 383, 384... until 389
    then 382 is after 389.
I want to keep the tasks in sequential order.
Has anyone seen this problem before?  I have done extensive research online and cannot seem to find any one with a similar issue.
    Thank you! :)

    Hi Dnbree,
Do you have any filters applied to the view in Project Pro? Try to change view and check if you experience the same issue.
Also check if the view uses a sorting in the view tab of the ribbon, such as sort by resources.
    Hope this helps.

  • On Provision or reProvision, what order are the resources proccessed in?

    Howdy,
I am fighting a race condition. Occasionally, when an end user claims their computing accounts, and active sync thread is undoing some of the claiming process. I have done a lot of work to eliminate race condition potential, and am now rather stumped. However, I have come to wonder if the Provision workflow service is the culprit. The toUpdate list has LDAP first, a few DB resources, then Lighthouse. It is the LDAP active sync process that is stepping on the toes of the account claiming. Does this list get processed linearly in order? If so this might explain what is happening. However I can not find any information in the order of execution....
    Does anyone know?
    Thanks,
    Jim

Hi there, thanks for the response I checked this and here are the numbers / time stamps on an example:
This is from interpreting the list backup of archivelog commands.
    Backupset = 122672
    ==============
Archive log sequence 120688 low time: 25th May 15:53:07 next time: 25th May 15:57:54
    Piece1 pieceNumber=123368 9th June 04:10:38 <-- catalogued by us.
    Piece2 pieceNumber=122673 25th May 16:05:18 <-- Original backup on production.
    Backupset = 122677
    ==============
Archive log sequence 120683 low time: 25th May 15:27:50 Next time 25th May 15:32:24 <-- lower sequence number restored after above.
    Piece1 PieceNumber=123372 9th June 04:11:34 <-- Catalogued by us.
    Piece2 PieceNumber=122678 25th May 16:08:45 <-- Orignial backup on Production.
So the above would show that if catalogue command you could influence the Piece numbering. Therefore the restore order if like you say piece number is the key. I will need to review production as to why they were backed up in different order completed on production. Would think they would use the backupset numbering and then piece within the set / availability.
Question: You mention archive logs are restored and applied and deleted in batches if the volume of archivelogs is large enough to be spread over multiple backup sets. What determines the batches in terms of size / number?
Thanks for inputs. Answers some questions.

  • Sales Order Status for Resource Related Billing

    Hi
The Resource related billing is done based on the costs accumulated on account assigned WBS Element. The WBS Element system status is set 'Finally Billed'. The overall status of Sales Order line item is still 'open' and does show up in 'Open Order' reports.
SAP vide their note 439288 recommends running report SDVBUK00 to correct the sales Order item status. However this note is applicable only upto 4.6C. Our system in ECC 6.0. We tried running this report and did not get desired results. We checked the program and discovered that the corrections suggested as per above note, are not available.
Is there any new SAP note applicable for ECC 6.0 needs to be applied ? Or is there any other report needs to be run in case of ECC6.0?

  • DIP Prfile for invoicing ofSM02 order type by Resource Related Billing DP90

    Dear Guru,
I have configured the complete DIP profile. But the only thning left is "blank-entry for material determination in the DIP profile is the last entry". I don't know about this.
Can you please explain what is blank-entry for material determination in the DIP profile is the last entry.
    Many thanks

    Dear,
IN RRB by using SM02 .
The line item created due to the withdrawal of material contains, for example, information about the cost element and the material number. The characteristic "Cost element" and "Material" are relevant for the creation of dynamic items and are therefore copied to the dynamic item. The characteristic "Cost element" is used for material determination. On the level "Material determination" you will find an entry without a material number where the indicator "Direct material" is set. This indicator ensures that the System assigns the material contained in the line item to the dynamic item. On the level "Criteria", it is defined that this type of assignment only occurs if the line item was posted to the cost element in the set CO-PC-MAT. This set comprises the cost elements used to post material consumption. the withdrawal of material was posted under cost element . This cost element belongs to the cost element set CO-PC-MAT. This means that the criteria for the material determination have been fulfilled, and that the material contained in the line item is transferred to the dynamic item.

  • Collective Billing Document for Resource-Related & Order-Related Items.

    Gurus,
Due to the nature of our service related business our contracts are made up of fixed price (periodic) billing, hourly & cost+ mark-up (resource related) billing invoiced on monthly cycles.
Our clients expect to see 1 invoice each month covering this combination.
Production of billing documents is follows:
A single sales order created with line items classified as either periodic or resource related.
For the periodic items a billing plan is maintained in the sales order.
For resource related items a debit/credit memo request is created using t.code DP91
Running t.code VF04 with the Sales Order, Debit/Credit memo request number and billing dates returns 2 lines.
Bililng date is entered in the default data tab to overcome invoice splits.
When running collective billing - individual billing documents are created.
What config or SAP notes are availble to make combining into a single billing document possible.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You have sales order item and resource related debit/credit memo
If you want to combine this then you have to set up proper copy control setting from SALES DOCUMENT to BILLING DOCUMENT
    T-CODE VTFA
check at item level Data VBRK/VBAP, Maintain proper routine

  • Order for resources in OAM authorization policy

    Hi All
Does the order for the resources in OAM authorization policy matters or can I put the resources in any order ?

OAM performs resource Authentication and Authorization based on the URLs. It doesn't matter on what order you try to put them.

  • Resource starting order with SC 3.2

    Hi
I've configured a SC 3.2 with mutiple resources: Oracle, Apache, tibco.
I want to manage the order when the resources are starting when switching a node.
I want to set the order to start:
    1. Oracle
    2. Apache
    3.tibco
And when the cluster switches the node want to stop the resources in this order:
    1.tibco
    2.Apache
    3.Oracle
How does the SC 3.2 does to set the order of the starting of the resources?
Should I do this in the Dependecies window? or somewhere else?
    Thanks for your help.

Then you would use the clrs command as in:
    clrs set --property resource_dependencies=<list of dependencies*> your_resource_name
    * - Here use the appropriate specification from the manual, i.e. any_node, local_node, etc.

  • Alternative resources in production order - primary resource selected

    Good evening,
I have a following problem, for which I have not found a solution:
we are using alternative modes in PPMs for reassigning orders to alternative resources and creating an order sequence for each resource in the Detailed Scheduling Planning Board (DSPB) in APO. However, when I convert a planned order to production order, this order is assigned to a primary resource again. Can I avoid this behaviour?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Jevgeni

    Thanks Thukral,
I also thought about that. Unfortunately, the prod order gets assigned to primary resource anyway. I've heard, when planned order is converted to prod order and sent to R/3, it reads PP data in R/3 and there in a routing, it calls up a primary resource. In addition, prod order does not contain alternative sequences any more and cannot be rescheduled to another resource.
I wonder, if this system behaviour can be changed or just accepted. But how is it than possible to to execute the sequences of orders created in the DSPB? It seems, manufacturing cannot use this sequence for execution, as all prod orders will be allocated to primary resource.

  • Ordering Resource Provisioning Issues

    Hello Kind IDM Folks,
We are having a small issue with some of the automatic provisioning IDM handles through roles. We have a role that will provision two resources. One resource is our definitive LDAP resource, and the other resource calls to our LDAP resource to get user attributes from. What we are starting to notice, is that the resource that requires LDAP is being called to provision first, then the LDAP provision is happening. So the first resource provisioning errors out. Then the account is loaded into LDAP fine. The next time the account is updated / saved, a provisioning event is fired off and it works fine.
Is there any way to control the order that the resources are provisioned to when they are assigned by a role?
    Thanks!
    Jim

Yes! Order the resources in the order desired and then check the "Update resources in order" checkbox (below the Resources multi-select).
    That setting manifests itself as
    <Role ... ordered='true' ...>
    [etc etc etc]
    </Role>Hope this helps.
