Order operations in sequence

Hi,
As per strategy, tasks are getting copied from Tasklist to Maintenance order. In this case operations in Maintenance order
are not in sequence . For eg. 0010, 0020, 0050, 0090 etc.,  How to get the order operations in sequence like 0010,0020,0030,
0040 etc.,
In config  for TL profile, renumber & remaining check boxes are ticked .
Eventhough it's not coming in sequence.
Kindly advise me where i'm going wrong
Thanks
Prasad

Pete,
Thanks for your reply.
For eg., Task list has 15 operations.(0010,0020.....0150) as per strategy based plan only monthly taks have to come in preventive
maintenance order.
After scheduling system creates preventive maintenance order.
In operation screen Client requires operation number in sequence like 0010,0020,0030,0040 etc.,
but in system it's 0030,0040,0050,0070,0090. Since it's monthly strategy system picks only those operations.
In SPRO i ticked Renumber for Tasklist profile & in order also default settings renumber chk box is ticked.
But still operation numbers are not in sequence.
Kindly help me to come out of this issue.

  • Work order operation number in Production Scheduling

    Hi,
We are using production scheduling for scheduling the discrete jobs. In production pegging view, the work order operation is shown in number "xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" not the name of the operation. Is there any setup required to display operation name? Any patch required?
    Thanks,
    Anitha.

    Hi,
I have face similar issue in deleting PO line items.
Even though I delete items, system check budget for deleted qty with the currency conversion + value & gives budget exceed error.
In some cases we have asked user to deactivated AVAC asked to do the transaction, which is not recommended.
You can try running CJBN & CJBV in sequence for affected WBS.

  • Standard Report for missing parts at production order operation level?

    Hi PP Gurus,
We have standard report for missing parts at production orders level.
For our client, they need a report for missing parts analysis at production order operation level. Do we have any such standard report in the SAP?
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Reddy.

    Hi Arvind,
          Thanks for for your response.
    1. List: Components,  Layout: Standard layout          set the Missing part
It shows the component requirement/withdrawn  quantity for each operation of production order. It is not showing the commit quantity.
    2. List: Components,  Layout: Pick list          set the Missing part
It shows the component requirement/withdrawn  quantity for each production order.
    3. List: Components,  Layout: Missing Parts List-Material View          set the Missing part
It shows the component requirement/commit quantity for each production order. It is not showing the commit quantity at opertion level.
    4. List: Components,  Layout: Missing Parts List-Order View          set the Missing part
It shows the component requirement/commit quantity for each production order. It is not showing the commit quantity at opertion level.
We are unable to get the solution from all these 1 to 4 reports from COOIS.
Do we have any option to change the existing layout (ex: 3 ) to get the commit quantity for operation with missing parts indicator?
If avilable, what is the procedure to be followed?
    Thanks,
    Reddy.

  • PM Order Operations Default Unit of Measurement

    Halo Experts,
We have a problem in UOM for PM/CS order operations. We have defined HR as default value of UOM for operations in IMG.
Business wants to change at the order level to H as UOM and it is manually keyed in and saved. But when we check with the F4 option for Unit of Measure " H" doesnt appear where as HR appears.
Any restrictions in displaying all the unit of measures. Can anybody clarify why "H" is not appearing on F4 option in the work order operation line items.
    Regards,
    Selva

    Hi Rajesh,
We are getting the default unit in operation tab and all the config of default values is available but when we execute the F4 option the unit "H" is not appearing where as if we change from HR which is a default unit to H it is getting saved at the operation Tab.
    Hope it is clear now.

  • Changing Work Center in PM Order Operations

    Hi PM Experts,
We got two companies operating in the same SAP client. But user are properly restricted with Authorizations in terms of company codes, maintenance panning plant, maintenance plants etc, etc,
But I noticed that in IW32, in  work order operations users belonging on to one company can select(F4) work centers/maintenance plant  from the other company and save orders.
I was under the impression that org level authorizations block this. Is there a way to stop this? provision of the the relevant authorization object in  this regard will be a great help.
    thanks in advance,
    Cheers

  • Status not updated in JCDS  Order Operations

    Hello Experts,
I have a requirement  in which  if status changes (either system or user status ) for any operation of an order, I need a table which shows object number , the date of status change .
In JCDS , when i change some Order Operations status they are reflected into JCDS with their change dates and when i change some Order Operations status they are not reflected into JCDS.
In JEST we have only status values but not the change date , i need the status change date.
I checked so many tables but they don't  Order operation status change date.
Can any share some light , are they are restrictions that certain order types operations only get reflected into JCDS.
    Thanks
    Vamsi

    Hello All,
I have spoken to my functional team.
There is setting in SPRO or you can directly go to Tcde 'OIOE' and you have differnt plants and order types and you can set different flags accordingly the change pointers will be updated to JCDS.
From the next doument created after enabling this setting, the change documents are reflected in JCDS in our case.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks

  • Process Order operation scheduling duration calculation

    Hi
We have following formula has been maintained for processing time calculation in resource.
    Machine * ( Operation quantity / Base quantity / Operation splits ) + Setup + Change-over
As per above formula for following procee order qty and time, SAP caulates time.
    Opeartion qty - 100,
    Base qty - 100,
    Op split - 1
    Machine - 0.5 hrs (30 Mins)
Processing time calculated as 30 mins (.5hrs)
When I schedule the process order with same resource for same qty and machine time, processing time is calculated as 33 mins. We dont have maintained any floats in scheduling margin key in material master. We dont have any wait times also.
Can you please let us know why process order operation is having 3 mins tolerance? Any idea where such settings has been maintained?
    Any pointers will be helpful.

    Hi Mangalraj,
    Thanks for your reply.
We have not maintained ay reduction levels in OPUZ for plant and order type combination.
In resource, we have 2 hrs break time and total operating time is 18.50 hrs.
I got following SAP help link for calculation of duration for processing time.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/b1/c04387439a11d189410000e829fbbd/content.htm
Is processing time is calculated based on following formula.
Processing time u2013 Calculated Processing time * (1+ (Length of break / Operating time)
Can you please correct my understanding here?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Use of field 'StartPoint' in work order operation's 'Dates' tab

    Hi,
Can someone please explain me on the uase of field 'StartPoint' on work order operation's Dates tab.
    Regards.

Start point will be used in case of scheduling for the operation.
By mentioning the condition & date, while doing automatic scheduling, system will change the start date of the operation & correspondingly finish date.
Note: This will work only when Automatic scheduling is ticked for the control key.

  • Standard report for User defined feild in order operation

    Hi all,
do we have any standard report? for User defined field in order operation. actually we have User defined field in task list and same could be reflected in order operation. so i am using those user defied field to record extra info in maintenance order.  i am wondering how to get the reports . do we have any standard reports?
    thanks
    Amit kushwaha

    Dear Amit
I have utilised 3 user fields & activated order enhancement tab. I could find these three fields in report IW37N & IW49N. I m using ECC 6.0 EHP4. Try to set the layout & look for  fields - user field for quantity in the layout. For this please maintain some data in these user fields of some orders and then check for those orders in t code- IW37N & IW49n.

  • Mass change of Production orders operations in ECC 6.0 using COOIS

    Dear experts,
Kindly Suggest a way to mass change of direct operations and components overview screen of production orders in ECC6.0
using COOIS transaction code which was available in SAP 4.7 using environment >change order> operations or components once we execute the COOIS with certain input parameters in the out put screen, this function seems to be not available in ECC 6.0 , if available kindly guide me or any alternative way to perform the same.
Thanks in advance for your inputs and help..
    Best regards,
    Nitish jain

You have that button "Change Order" you can just click on it and once you're in the change mode of the order click "Component Overview" button , it's the same number of clicks...
Anyway, SAP has changed the entire ALV for all the transaction codes using PPIO_ENTRY (COOIS, CO26, CO27, CO28 et al)
    look at question 12
    https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/540779
if you really want your old GUI status. there is a way to get it back. In SE38 enter the program name PPIO_ENTRY and select variants and click display. Once you're in variants screen enter variant name and click create and select all "screens" check box and then it will take you the selection screen in there check the box "Old ALV Display" in the Technical settings sub screen. (If you want you can choose other functions also like "Selection List" as PPIOM000 Always display components directly etc. if you want ) Click on "Next Screen" button and it will show "Attributes" button then click on the attributes button and save it.
Now go to SE93, make a copy of transaction COOIS to ZOOIS and in the variant field enter the variant you just created. The new transaction will always start with the variant you just created and it will look like your old COOIS with Environment > Change Order > Components will be visible.

  • Maintenance order Operation mass change with Ehp5

    Hi Experts,
We are currently working in ECC 6.0 Ehp3 and we are exploring the additional features with Ehp5.
To explore the Ehp5 functionalities (Maintenance order Operation Account Assignment and Operation mass change) we did the foloowing:
    1. LOG_EAM_CI_2 to LOG_EAM_CI_5  and LOG_EAM_LINEAR_1 business function is activated
    2. LOG_EAM_OLC: Operation Account Assignment business function is activated
    3. Under Define Cost settings configuration, the relevant Plant and Order type checkbox is activated
    4. The user role is adjusted to enable the Maintenance order Operation mass change functionality
Suppose the LOG_EAM_OLC business function is activated on 01.02.2012
The Maintenance orders created before 01.02.2012 is allowed to do the Maintenance order Operation mass change.
But the Maintenance orders created after 01.02.2012 is not allowing to do the Operation mass change and throwing the error message.
Error message: Operation Account Assignment orders (order type XX) are not supported
    Program name: SAPLIBAPI_ALM_ORDER_PROCESSING
Message Class: ERP_CO_OLC_E (Messages for Operative Level Costing)
    Message number: 066
I have reffered the supporting documents, but it didn't helped.
    Please help me.
    Thanks,
    Raj

    Hi,
I expect the issue is with BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN. The mass change functionality usues this BAPI but the BAPI does not currently support OLC orders. When you try to change OLC orders via the BAPI (or the mass change functionality tries to do it) this is prevented and the error message is issued.
At the moment, you will not be able to use mass change for OLC orders.
