Order print problem

I have problem ordering book. It is the first time then order book with Aperture. With iPhoto I never had this problem.
First: My appleid does not allow me to make order, I always get an error 'Try again later' but when work?
Second: After had used an  other appleid (other family member) and order print started to upload images the system stuck and need to shutdown my macbook press the start botton.
Someone can help me?

This may be caused by the tightened security requirements for your Apple ID. Apple now requires, that the answers to your security questions are at least six characters long, also the password must not be too simple. See the guidelines here:

If your password and security questions do not match these rules, reset them at My Apple ID.

This may happen, if one of the image files cannot be rendered. Is the preview of your book o.k., when you use the preview-book button on the order page?

    When I'm trying to order prints directly from within iPhoto, i get this error "There was a problem communicating with the Apple Online Store. Please try again."

    - Booting from safe mode
    - Calling tech support
    - Reinstalling iPhoto

    The only thing that are partly working is changing country iPhoto > Preferences > Advanced > Print Product Store.
    If i change from Denmark to Germany or UK, i get the check out screen - but I can't pay with a danish credit card or choose to have the package send to Denmark.

    The following are two fixes posted by other users that helped them:

    go to the System/Sharing preference pane and make sure Remote Apple Events is checked.
    If it is, uncheck it and then recheck and try ordering again.

    Quit iPhoto.
    From the Finder menu bar, choose Go > Utilities to access your Utilities folder (or press Shift-Command-U).
    In your Utilities folder, open Keychain Access.
    Find the "NetServices" entry in your Keychain Access window.
    Select the "NetServices" entry and press the delete key.
    Reopen iPhoto and attempt to place your order again.
    You should be prompted to enter your account information if you deleted the Keychain entry successfully.
    After entering your account information, you should be able to complete your order.

  • Ordering Prints Problems

    I am using Photoshop Elements 8.
    I have ordered from Shutterfly in the past and all worked well, but for the past few weeks
    I only get a blank screen where ordering options and thumb nails of the prints I want to order should be.  I have tried entering from the file menu and from the Create panel and my selected photos and information will not appear.  I can order from Kodak, but I can't access Shutterfly. Does anyone know what the problem may be?  Thanks.

    Has your network configuration changed at all between when it used to work and when it stopped working?
    Is the window that opens completely blank, or are there some bit's on it, but just not everything?
    Any error messages?
    One thing to try is to go into Preferences, and reset the services
    Organizer>Edit>Preferences>Adobe Partner Services
    On that Preferences panel, look for the Clear Online Service Data button and click it.
    Exit the Organzier, restart it, and try again.
    I don't know if that will fix the issue, but it's worth a try.

  • Order Prints: Problem Uploading

    I recently ordered a set a prints. After being prompted by aperture that ordering was complete I put my computer to sleep. Since I did not receive a confirmation email or a billing charge, I went back on to aperture to check on my order. The program still says "Uploading Order". When I attempt to place a new order I receive the message "Your prints order is note complete. Your prints are still being sent to the publisher. You cannot place another order until you have been notified that the current order is complete."
    It's been about a week since I placed the order.
    I've also left aperture running for hours to see if it would finish uploading.
    Also, when I attempt to exit aperture, I get the following error message, "Your book order is not complete. The book is still being uploaded. Are you sure you want to cancel the upload?"
    Any help is appreciated.

    What was the answer? I'm hit with this problem now.

    I am printing a zform of medruck for purchase order.its working fine and the output is as shown below

    But when i c the print preview for other purchase order its output is different as shown

    Instead of comma in qty its howing dot and vice versa in price also the date format is changed.its only for a particular PO
    could anybody tell me why it is happening/

    in menubar got
    system -
    > user profile -
    > owndata-->default (tab)decimal notification
    From menubar go to system then from their user profile then owndata and from their use the default tab , in the default tab u find the decimal notation change the decimal notification.

    Hi All,
    I created PO, and before printing I deleted the line 00010 in the PO. When I print the first line was not showing. This was expected & is fine. But today, I deleted line 00020 – 00090, when I print, the line 00020 – 00090 disappear but line 00010 remain there but with a written sign deleted item. Please advice why does the line 00010 disappear yesterday when deleted and reappear but saying item deleted. Await inputs.

      If the system were to print the deleted line as well, then in my first print i should have seen that line 0010 is deleted & in my second print i should see lines 0020 - 0090 as deleted. But in my case, in the first print, i dont see line 0010 & in my second print i dont see the lines 0020 - 0090, but i see line 0010 with the line 'Item Deleted'. Is it possible to print output with only the changes made?
    i.e. before i printed the PO 2nd time, i had deleted lines 0020 - 0090, so when i print only those lines are not shown, but since 0010 was deleted previously it is showing? (hope it is clear for you)

  • Problems with 'Order Prints' from Aperture 2.1.3 Mystery borders

    *Some background:*
    I've been using Aperture for about 3 months now, importing most of my iPhoto library into the program. I have only recently started shooting in RAW format, most of my photos image files are in JPG format. In the past, I've had no problems with obtaining prints from within iPhoto or to a limited extent Aperture. So, far as I know my program is up-to-date. I have 2 plugins installed: Aperture2twitter and *flickr export Lite* both of which work acceptably.
    *The problem:* I ordered 317 4×6 prints from my aperture library.
    Every photo has a 1/4″ border on both sides of the image, i.e. the printed image is only 4×5 1/2″. I have never ordered this quantity before, but I don’t believe that was the problem, it appears that the processing machine was misaligned and no one reviewed the prints prior to shipping.
    I tried again, on 4 different images ... all JPG files with 3 out of 4 were OK, but one exhibited the "border" issue.
    I haven't a clue what is going on here. Apple implied +(via email)+ that I would have to individually crop every photo to ensure proper aspect ratio. This makes no sense to me at all, as I have never had this kinda problem before.
    Could the plugin(s) be interfering with the s/w? Is there a trick to having photos printed from within Aperture that was not present in iPhoto?
    Any thoughts on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

    I believe that I've solved this problem, with the help of the folks at Apple who handle Aperture tech support using the Aperture support ID that came with the product.
    So the short answer is: Aperture print services REALLY DO REQUIRE the image to be cropped (constrained as they say) prior to the data being sent to Apple Print services.

    The process as described is cumbersome, but the support tech pointed out that in Aperture, crops are 'non-destrutive' and can be undone simply by removing the check mark on the Adjustments tab of the image you crop. *This means that you do not have to make a duplicate image for cropping.*
    So, here is the process that I arrived at to ensure that my "order prints" job turned out:
    1. create an album of all the photos you want to submit for printing.
    2. for each image call up the Crop HUD by pressing 'c' on the keyboard.
    3.select the aspect ratio that you want for your photo. Make sure that it does NOT SAY Master Aspect Ratio, or Main Display Aspect Ratio.
    4. Crop the photo
    on the adjustments tab you can see the X and Y data and Height / Width information which can be undone.
    5. Submit your print request to Apple for all the cropped photos.
    When the prints arrive, you can compare the prints with the submitted photos. They should all be good. You can then delete the album (since it really is not a physical thing) or keep it for reference.
    It all seemed a bit arcane to me, as I never had to worry about this in iPhoto. It must be that iPhoto sends different data than Aperture. I have just received 200 + prints back from Apple Print Services with about 98% success rate. I just have to adjust my thinking and my process when dealing with Aperture.

    Previously I had been able to order prints directly from iPhoto.  When I tried today I kept getting the message "review account info", which I did.  Billing, shipping, cc info is all correct.  When I submit the order I just keep receiving the same message.  I am currently using iPhoto 08 - 7.1.5.  Is this outdated already?

    No iPhoto '08 is not outdated - go to your account in the Apple store and re-enter (do not just verify) all of the information and try again

    I tried to order prints from iphoto and my order was cancelled 3 times. I sent an email to Apple & received the following response:
    Thank you for contacting iPhoto Customer Support.
    Unfortunately we were not able to complete your order because some of your photos did not meet the recommended sizes. Since we cannot modify content after an order is submitted, your order has been cancelled, and you have not been charged.
    Apple recommends using iPhoto or another image-editing application to adjust your images to the proper aspect ratio before submitting them. These are the recommended minimum image sizes:
    4 x 6 print = 640 x 480 pixels
    5 x 7 print = 1024 x 768 pixels
    8 x 10 print = 1024 x 1536 pixels
    16 x 20 print = 1600 x 1200 pixels
    20 x 30 print = 1600 x 1200 pixels
    Wallet prints = 320 x 240 pixels
    Images that are not constrained to the aspect ratio of the print size you are ordering are automatically cropped during processing.

    In a word, yes. The prints must be in the same ratio as the print ordered so that you will get on the print what you see on the monitor. You can't squeeze pixels that are in a one ratio into a different ratio and maintain distortion free images. You'd have to squeeze or stretch some pixels to fit the new size. That wouldn't look good. It's just the nature of the beast.

    Was wondering if anyone can help...I am not very computer friendly but want to be able to edit my photos, use them as jpegs, order prints etc. When I double click on a thumbnail ( am presuming the thumbnails are the small photos ) I get a grey screen with an exclamation mark on it. I cannot drag the thumbnail onto the desk top it just pings back. This doesn't happen with all the thumbnails and has been a problem since we upgraded to snowleopard. I recently reinstalled photos from the memory card from my camera and they are alright.     Easiest: Restore from your back up.
    Otherwise:
    Try these in order - from best option on down...
    1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
    2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
    To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
    Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
    Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
    Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
    Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
    When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
    In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

I have my photos sorted in labeled albums, and would like to upload them as such, but when I click on iphoto library, it brings up all kinds of other files that don't correspond to my current file labels.     Equally irritating, when I use apple's "order print" features, it only lets me order from one album at a time. I'd like to order from multiple albums all at once, without paying shipping for each one. Any ideas? Again, most grateful for any advice.

    Hi, Sestew, and welcome to Apple Discussions.
    Problem 1: Export the photos you want printed from iPhoto to a folder on the desktop. Use the printer's browser to navigate to that folder and upload them to the printing company from it. After uploading them, trash the folder that contains the exported copies. The pictures are still safe in your iPhoto library.
    Problem 2: Create a new album and place all the pictures you want printed in it. (A photo can appear in any number of albums, so doing this won't remove any of the pictures from the other albums they're already in.) Then order that album printed. Delete the album after ordering, if you wish — the pictures will remain in whatever other albums you've placed them in.
