Orders created by Idocs

HI
Suppose if a sales order is created by Inbound Idoc today i wanted to find out the IDOC no from which this order was created.
Its getting very tough to search by each Inbound Idoc received today in We02 means i used to select the Idoc and go inside check under status 53 doc no.
It will be easy if i get filter with doc nos or with some segment values?
Pl advise.

Hi Shan,
Follow these steps to find out the IDOC number for a specific order;
(Normally each order will have a specific / unique PO number, get the PO number from the order) and follow the steps:
Use T-code WE09
Input from an to IDOC creation date according to your order
Direction = 2
Status = 53
Logical Message = ORDERS*
Search in segment ... = E1EDK02 001
Search in field ... = BELNR
for value ... = (your PO number from the order)
Execute.
This is a specific search and will take you to the IDOC that was responsible in creation of the order number you have.
Hope this will help you out !

Syed Nasir

  • Creating a Purchase Order using ORDERS05 Idoc

    Hi,
I'm looking at a similar problem, can we use ORDERS05 IDOC basic type to create a Purchase Order?
What is the inbound processing FM?  I tried IDOC_INPUT_ORDRSP, but it seem to only allow changes to a PO, and not creation of a PO.
For IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS FM this one seem to only create Sales Orders?
Which inbound FM should i be using?

  • Idoc creation on production order create and save

I need to know if there is a way to create an idoc on the change and save of a production order.  We will need to base this on plants (not all plants get an idoc).  Is there any "safe" way to do this automatically?  We previous had a system in place that used the user exit of a production order save but it no longer works.
    Regards,
    Davis

It's not an error as such.  The program is doing exactly what it has been told to do.
If you go to SE38, and look at ZXCO1U06, you'll find that there is a statement "BREAK-POINT".  This is hard-coded way of opening the debugger.
Your best approach is to find the developer responsible for doing this, and ask them to change it.  If this is happening outside of development system - perhaps in test or production, then perhaps
    a) The programmer needs to be disciplined shot
    b) The development team need to introduce some review procedure of ALL coding, before transport.

  • IDOC Inbound to Sales Order Create

    Hi!
I have a problem with  IDOC ORDERS05 ORDERS - Sales Order Create .
I need to do  line delivery block - field VBEP-LIFSP.
However the field is not in schedule line segment E1EDP20 and not in another segment.
Is it solution for this problem?
    Please help ,
    Thanks,
    Mila

    Hi Mila,
in the standard IDOC, you don't have the possibility to add a delivery block in the IDOC.
Can you instead take a block on header level? You can add a block on header level for the sales order. We implemented a block on header level for EDI orders. This would still execute the availability check, but would block the delivery creation.
Another option would be to cause the delivery block via special item category for EDI orders.

  • Creating Sales Order using inbound IDOC

    hi,
Using test tool WE19 if i create sales order in foregound no error occurs and order is created successfully but if i try to create in backgound it gives error "No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY0 0120".
please suggest a way out .

I hope you do not have any popup windows during your order create, popups should be suppressed for batch-input.
try to run it in foreground and check if there is any warning message which forces you to press Enter once more to bypass it.
try to process it in "foreground after error" to see if it stops on any error/warning message.

  • CONFIRMATION OF  PURCHASE ORDERS CREATED FOR SERVICE

    Hi,
We have implemented the Extended Classic Scenario on SRM 5.0 and WF1400020 has been activated for Confirmation of Services. When a service confirmation has been done, but not yet approved, the system allows you to create another confirmation, even although the first confirmation was for the full quantity on the purchase order. Can anyone please assist in explaining why this is allowed.
    Thanx

    Hi Marinda,
your problem was mine. I've posted for it a message to SAP AG.
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that the system behaviour you have
described in this message is exactly how it is designed to work.
Technical reason for the system behaviour:
After approving a confirmation the system performs the following steps:
    1) it creates an IDoc which will be passed to the backend for creationof the goods receipt document on the backend.
    2) at the same time it creates an entry in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB for
the PO. If a user now would try to perform a confirmation he will get
the error message 'System user' already processing purchasing doc item
    'xxxxxxxxx' 'xxxxx'
    3) the entry in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB remains in the table until the
report CLEAN_REQREQ_UP has detected that the goods receipt document in
the backend has been posted succesfully. Then this entry will be deleted and the status of the PO will be set to "Fully delivered" respectively
in case of a partial delivery the open quantity will be reduced accordingly
If you want to achieve the immediate locking of the PO
for confirmation you always have to use a workflow without an approval
    step for the confirmation
I hope this information has helped you.
Please, is useful, reward points to me.
    Regards,
    Christian

  • How to create Inbound Idocs in a ABAP program? Any function Module?

    Hello Experts,
My requirement is : I have sales order data which I extracted from third party system in my internal tables. In the same box I need to create inbound Idocs and then consequently create sales orders.
I have used the function module IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB to create inbound Idocs from Sales Orders data in internal tables. I have populated all the data records with correct PSGNUM and HLEVEL values. My plan is to create inbound idocs with this function module and send those to IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS function module which creates Sales Orders.
If a sales order in the internal table in ABAP program contains only one item, then I am getting correct idocs. But if more than one item exists for a sales order then the line item segments which got repeated in Idoc are having PSGNUM and HLEVEL values as zero when I checked in WE02. As a result the hierarchy from the second item segment is getting disturbed and getting the status 60.
I populated T_EDIDD with data records from  IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB.
To the function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS,  T_EDIDC and T_EDIDD are the input. I observed that in T_EDIDD also the PSGNUM and HLEVEL values are blank.
I am getting Status 60 with message 'EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (segment cannot be identified)' for idocs which have more than one item.
I need to extract sales data from third party and create inbound idocs and create sales orders in one ABAP program only. I need to display corresponding Idoc numbers for the corresponding third party sales order number in a listoutput.
    Can anybody please provide inputs?
    Regards.

    Hi Anjali,
    Thanks for the response.
I have passed the PSGNUM and HLEVEL values while populating the data records. Then I sent the data records and control record information to the function module IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB. Inside this function module there is code to clear the PSGNUM values and HLEVEL values.
for compatibility: clear administration data of data records
               perform data_records_wipe
                                      tables
                                          t_data_records.
    FORM DATA_RECORDS_WIPE
                      TABLES
                          T_DATA_RECORDS_IN  STRUCTURE EDIDD.
      LOOP AT  T_DATA_RECORDS_IN.
        CLEAR: T_DATA_RECORDS_IN-MANDT,
               T_DATA_RECORDS_IN-DOCNUM,
               T_DATA_RECORDS_IN-SEGNUM,
               T_DATA_RECORDS_IN-PSGNUM,
               T_DATA_RECORDS_IN-HLEVEL.
        modify t_data_records_in.
      ENDLOOP.
    ENDFORM.                               " DATA_RECORDS_WIPE
This is the code which is clearing all the PSGNUM and HLEVEL values. After coming out of this function module we are getting the error idocs created with disturbed hierarchy.
I need to create INBOUND Idocs with the data in ABAP program.
Please let me know if any inputs? Is there any function module existing to create Inbound Idocs inside an ABAP program?

  • Creation of Sales order through inbound idoc

    Hi,
I'm using two servers 100 and 200.In 100 i'm creating outbound IDOC for PO,In 200 sales order has to be created for that PO.I'm facing some problem in server 200.
Error i'm facing  : Partner profile not available.
I done all the basic setting like Logical system,Port and Partner profile creation in both servers.
    Kindly advice.
    By,
    Sathish.

    Hi Satish,
Are you sure  WEL1 setting is correct?
The message seems to be telling you that it is looking for a vendor with
number 00000000 (zero) which doesn't sound too good to me.
You therefore bill the intercompany customer in sales org 0021 (the
intercompany receivable is in 0021). The intercompany payable is thus in
company code 0043, so that looks right.
    Other things to check:
    1. Does your IV billing document get generated in sales organisation
    0043 with customer 300043 as the bill-to?
    2. Check the number of 0's you have in WEL1 Log.addr field. We use
alphanumeric customer numbers for our "internal" customers so there's
not an issue with leading zeroes, but it might be a problem for you. it
seems you've got it right because you've padded with leading zeroes to
get it to 10 long, but you never know.
    3. have you created your RD04 condition records in VV31 correctly?
I guess u may find the answer to this link.

  • Item text not getting copied into sales order from inbound Idoc

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where in we get the sales order created through a inbound 850 idoc .
The trading partner sends the sales order information which gets through GENTRAN and gets posted as inbound idoc in SAP .
The problem here is that ,there are segments with values for item text in the idoc ,but the item text is not getting carried over to the sales order which is getting created because of this idoc.
There is no problem with the header text and it is present both at the idoc as well as the sales order level.
I have checked the configuration for text determination and everything looks fine .
Please let me know has anyone come across a scenario like this .This is important as our EDI is getting failed when an outbound 810 is sent from SAP for the simple reason that there is no item text .
    Thanks
    Sridhar

    Hello Sridhar
Do you have access to the genuine 850 EDI message? Does it contain the item texts? If so then there is probably a problem with the (XSLT) mapping EDI 850 -> ORDERS.ORDERS05 IDoc.
Are you able to test the mapping independent of the EDI transmission? This way you could nail down the problem.

    Hi,
You would need to configure the data distribution model, activate change pointers, create your partner profiles and rfc connections.
    Then do your XI Config.
