org.data determination is possible for based on product scenario in transaction like for BP ? how can we do this? Pls guide me?

Marketing Organization
The marketing organization is an attribute of marketing plans and campaigns. It is part of the SAP organizational model that enables you to define how your company structures responsibilities in its marketing activities. You use the marketing organization to map the marketing logical enterprise structure to the organizational units in your company.
The marketing organization has the following attributes:
Product category
Country
Reference currency
You use these attributes to describe the marketing organization. For example, if you base your organizational units on brands, you can use the product category for the brand.
The marketing organization can be completely different from the sales organization or the service organization in CRM.
Marketing organizations are relevant for campaigns and marketing plans only. They are not relevant for trade promotions or deals. Consequently, the Marketing Org. field is available for campaigns and marketing plans only.
You can use the marketing organization attribute for:
Authorization checks
You can use the marketing organization in authorization checks, for example, to determine whether a user is authorized to change a particular campaign.
There are no marketing-specific authorization objects for the marketing organization. You can add authorization checks on the level of the marketing organization by using standard Organizational Management structural authorizations, or authority object PLOG. You can go down to the level of user name to build the authorization environment. To make settings for the structural authorizations, see Customizing for SAP Web Application Server, under  Application Server  Business Management  SAP Business Workflow  Authorization Management  Structural Authorizations .
Automatic entry and checking of marketing attributes
The system can use the marketing organization for providing default entries to certain fields in Marketing.
Partner determination
For example, you can use the marketing organization to determine the appropriate marketing manager for the assigned marketing organization, and assign it to the campaign (on the Partner assignment block).
Workflow routing
You can assign a marketing organization to a campaign, and then start a workflow based on the attributes of the campaign. For example, you change the status of a campaign with a particular product category to For Approval. The system routs a workflow item to all users who are assigned to a marketing organization with this particular product category.
Cost planning
Cost planning enables you to split key figures across multiple dimensions. For example, you can use the marketing organization to distribute the costs of a campaign across several marketing organizational units.
Reporting
You can use the marketing organization in reporting. For example, you can measure the success of a particular organizational unit.

    Hi,
    For the error, go to details, and check the main/sub transaction.  From there you can navigate thru error analysis and it will take you to the configuration details in SPRO. Check for the key specified in the error log, if the entry is present or not. If not maintain the entries accordingly.
    Alternatively
    Please check the configuration for Automatic GL account determination.
    Please check if the GL determination is made for the main transaction and sub transaction for which it is giving the error.
    Path -: SPRO -> Financial accounting -> Contract Account receivable and payable -> basic functions -> Postings and documents -> document -> define account assignments for automatic postings -> Automatic GL determination.
    Check for ISU : Define account assigment data related to main transaction and data relevant to transaction.
    Alternatively check tcodes EK01 / EK02.

  • Multiple business roles and org data determination

    Hello together,
    we are having an issue with the organizational data determination. Some users have multiple business roles in different sales organizsations. This means, they are assigned to several units in our org modell.
    This users can select the business role after the login screen. But this selection doesn't affect the org data determination (rule: ORGMAN_12).
    For example. My user is assigned to 4 different org units. After the login i select a role. In debugging i can see this role, but the system selects only the first role and not the role i've selected after the login.
    Is there any other rule which follows the select business role? Or can i assign one user only to one unit?

    The problem is, that i need exactly the org unit according to the selected business role at the beginning. Because we have in one company different distribution channel (e.g. 10, 20, 30). And depending on this the user can create an business partner in 10, 20 or 30. So, in our case we have some users assigned to 10 AND 20 AND 30. For each channel we have one role.
    Our org modell looks like this:
    company XYZ
    --channel 10 ( role 'salespro10')
    mustermann-m
    --channel 20 ( role 'salespro20')
    mustermann-m
    --channel 30 ( role 'salespro30')
    mustermann-m
    If the user mustermann-m select salespro10 he should be able to create a business partner in channel 10. And if the user select the salespro20 he should be able to create the bp in channel20.
    But if you use the RH_STRUC_GET i get ALL assigment.

    Iam doing an Roll out project. I this i need to do the org data determination for this new co code .with out disturbing the existing one , I had already replicated all the master datas like material, customer, pricing,equipment from ecc to crm.
    Now i want to determine the org data determination for this new comapny code with out affecting the existing one .

  • Org data determination and copy control

    Experts,
    I have a scenario where service orders are created automatically form a service contract.  The same service order can also be created manually.
    Org determination in service contract is based on the Sold-to-party.
    Org determination in service order is based on the ship-to- party.
    When service order are manually created - org data is determined based on ship-to-party  -
    But when automatically created form Service contract the Org data is copied from Service contract.
    Or  how can I redetermine the org data in the service order??????????

    Thanks for the reply guys,
    The service order is determining the Org data as expected using the Org data profile and parter function for org values assigned to the the transaction type.  This is working as assigned for manually created service orders. This is not the problem.
    But when the same service order is automatically created from a Service contract -- Org data is copied form Service contract.
    I want it to be determined as it happens when they are created manually.
    Any thoughts...

    1. make sure that the CRM organizational model is set up.
    2. Go to the IMG -> Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Organizational Data determination -> Wizzard for Organizational Data Determination and set up either a new determination rule or look at already existing ones.
    3. Assign the Org. Data Profile to the transaction type under Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Define Transactions Types

  • Batch determination not possible for few records

    Hi,
    We have a situation !!!
    We have batch serach strategy and all the config done.
    the only thing was the search procedure was not assigned to the sales area so that it can determined in the delivery.
    Before even this config could be done, one of users created a record for the batch search procedure ZD01 in our system for that ship point.
    When we have noticed it and then moved the configuration.
    the batch determination started working for all the deliveries created after the config has been done.
    Problem:
    For the deliveries which have been created earlier (before the config of assigning the search procedure to the sales asrea) the batch determination is not working .
    Did anyone encounter this problem??
    Is there a fix for it soemthing like a  OSS or utility program !!!

    the validity date on the condition record is from 04/08/2008 which is the same date when the delivery has been created.
    I have tried changing it to something earlier but still it doesnt work for this one delivery which was created before the configuration was done

    This is based on the org determination rules which are assigned to the transaction types.
    These rules are defined to pick up the responsible agent/org based on two criteria
    1. Based on attributes
    2. Based on responsibilities
    3. Both of the above
    Incase when the org is to be determined based on the attributes, then the attributes of the BP like the Countyr, Postal code are matched to the same attributes of the orgs that you have maintianed in the system and the matching orgs are available for chosing.
    <b>Based on the responsibility</b>:- Incase you want the BP to be serviced based on his importance you chose agents based on the Responsibility. Eg:- If you want the Gold Card Members to be treated by different set of org than the normal customers, you can chose this rule to maintian it.
    Incase you have maintained both the rules, then the union of all the orgs determined by these rules will be available in the pop.
    The path to maintain these rules is
    IMG> CRM> Master Data> Org Mangement> Define Rules
    and then these rules need to be assigned to a profile which contains the rules to determine both sales and service orgs is done using the path
    IMG>CRM>Master Data> Org Management> Define profile
    and then these profiles are assgined to the transaction type using the path IMG>CRM> Transactions> Basic Settings> Define transaction types

    Hi experts,
    Could you please tell me if Integrated Configuration would work in this scenario, if so could you please tell me how.
    A file is read and accordingly a RFC call is made. The response of the RFC is used to determine receivers. The receivers are other RFC's and IDoc's to different systems.
    I was planning to use the receiver determination step in BPM to achieve this.

    No. You cannot use IC in combination with BPM.

  • Organizational data determination for mkt. activities

    We need organizational data determination for mkt. activities created from campaigns. In CRM we have only the Marketing part of  the clients organization, using Marketing scenario in PPCOMA_CRM.
    If we leave org. unit field of activity blank, the activity has a red error light.
    The responsable person is the one from the campaign. It is responsable of en Marketing unit (that was assigned to campaign).
    The possible solutions for our cliente could be 1) org data determination from preceding document or 2) org data determination from the Mkt organization of the responable person.
    Concerning 1) There is no "natural" way to assign the preceding
    document (campaign). Am I right?
    Concerning 2) The only way to determine the an unit, was choosing Organizational Model Determin. Rule 10000148 to perfile ZDUOCTEST and later changing the scenario of rule 10000148 from sales to marketing. This obviosly is not standard. As rule and perfile now have diferent scenarios. What would be the standard solution?

    please do not get confused by the terminology of the standard solution,what you are doing by changing the scenariop from sales to marketing is actually a standard solution,
    as an activity is generated in response to the campiang or survey being submitted,and it is always a sales scenario ,since further activity application is in martketing scenario ,so what you are doing is changing the scenario from sales to marketing so that from those activities tyou can generate the org data,this is the standard and it goes this way only
    if you want to work other way around then just use the preceding document access sequence in the scenario like then you have to use the campaign data instead of the activity generated in response to the campaign,

  • Organtisational data determination for transaction type

    Hi!
    We are implementing the organizational data determination.
    The idea is to fix a specific org unit for several transaction types, because they will always use this unit.
    In order to achieve this, we have implemented Org data determination with rule 14000146, Org. Unit Using Transaction Type.
    Within the rule, in tab Container, I could assign 1 transaction type. How can I define more? And where do I determine the Org Unit it the  rule should determine?

    you need to enhance that rule
    just copy the rule to Z rule and then create containers specifying the different transaction type in the same way the original transaction is there,
    else you need not do this because it is the standard behavior of rule,for every transaction type u just assign the org data profile,it will work the way u want from  this
    and regarding ur question"where do I determine the Org Unit it the rule should determine"
    the rule will automatically determine the org unit,because inside the container the org attributes are used, its like
    IN PPOMA_CRM, choose your Organization Unit, Go to tab Attributes, Choose Attribute Maintaineance Scenario as SALES, and below you will be able to view Attribute Transaction Type.
    i believe u r using rule for org model

    Hi Krishna,
    All u need to do is have 2 org determination profile with the same name but meant for different scenarios one for sales and one for service.
    i.e. ZORGDET is the determination profile
    ZORGDET SALE
    ZORGDET SERVICE
    To them u have assigned respective rules.
    This profile is to be assigned to the transaction type.
    Hence while determination both the rules one for sales and one for service will be executed to get the service and sales organization.

    we have a requirement when we create  a sales order in web shop the org data determined based on the sold to party. but  the data should be determined based on the channel partner.
    sales area should be same as per the sold to party but sales office and sales group should be same as channel partner.
    if a is sold to party n b is channel partner while creating an order the sales area should read from a and sales group and sales office should read from b.
    please help me out.

    CRM_ISA_SHIPTOS OFSOLD TO_GET is definitely not the function module to use in this situation. Nor the Order_Save BAdI. Org determination is something done immediately after specifying the partner - usually SOLD_TO. In your case you need the Org to be determined from the CHANNEL Partner.
    Org. data is very important for the sales transaction. Many of the transaction properties including the pricing procedure are dependent on the Org.data. So, it has to be correctly determined before any thing tangible is done with the transaction.
    In SPRO, in the Definition of Transaction Types ( Menu path : Customer Relationship Management --> Transactions --> Basic settings --> Define Transaction Types ), choose your transaction type and set the right Org data profile.
    Set the Partner Function ORG to the Channel Partner function, so that the Org is determined using this partner function.

    Can I create Business Partner in CRM without Org Data. Reason being that, based on the condition, BP created in CRM will be replicated to both the ECC system. for replicaton to both the ECC system... I have to maintain both Org data in CRM.
    How to maintain both the ECC org structures in CRM.
    In this case, How does org data determination rule works?

    You can assign both the sales area data for the BP . And the Bp will flow to both the ECC system and org data can be
    selected manually . you can choose one among the two based on your requirment.
    You would get an option to select from the popup which sales area data you wanna determine.

    Here i have problem regarding org.data determination where we have used standard "100094" rule ;
    type-org.model category determination,
    org.data  is determined in transaction based on user who creates transaction .
    now when user creates transaction org.data is not determined.
    i checked whether org data profile is assigned to transaction or not- it is assigned.
    user maintained in org. model-yes
    is user assigned in employee BP data -yes
    simulated in rule- yes, there if we pass user specific Employee id it shows relevant "sales org".
    but when creating transaction it does not determine org.unit automatically,
    more over, if we manually maintain it, we get message, sales org.unit doesnot have this attributes or
    sales org. does not exist.
    please help me with your experience.

    I have used ODD of org.model type and assigned relevant rule "1000194" to only determine sales org.with distribution channel as mandatory, no sales office and group.
    and has also check marked object determination in sales organisation.
    user is also assigned,
    BP employee data of user is also maintained.
    and it is  working fine in test server bcoz when i as user create any transaction it determined sales org.automatically, but when other user does same in prod server, there it is not determined automatically though same configuration exist in both system.
    moreover, as we use ODD for automatic determination of organisation data in transaction so there is no point of entering it manually...
