Org. Unit Listing Issue

Hello Everyone,
We are using Nakisa v4.1 and a live build. When we search an org.unit and click on the result, I know it is possible to find where that org. unit belongs in the org. chart but it only shows it's lower level org. units and positions in the hierarchy. My question is; is it possible to see also where our org. unit which we selected from the listing results belongs to, I mean the upper hierarchy levels ?

Hi Tunc.
If you hover over the top edge of the org unit box, you can navigate up one level at a time. So this is good if you need to dig into the details or display the place in the wider structure.
If you select a position/employee in the org unit, the details panel has a silo sub-tab under the structure tab. This shows the linear hierarchy to the org root. As a result this is usually quicker to see what the lineage is, but doesn't let you easily see the context of what else is at each level in the way that navigating the structure does.

Shows all Org Structure in Org Unit Listing in Nakisa Org Chart

Hi,
We are using Org Chart 3.0SP2.
The issue is when we search the Org Units in Org Unit listing it also shows other Org Units from other org structure which does not lie inside our selected Org Structure (already given the root org unit ID in Org chart config)
But i cannot restrict the org unit listing because we cannot find any option to give root org unit ID in org unit listing configuration.
How can we restrict this Org unit listing which should show only the org units below the selected org structure.
Because already several org structure exists in back-end,but we have given one org structure (entered the root id) which we need for org chart.

Hi Sakthi,
The search uses a listing report that pulls all active OrgUnits from HRP1000. This will include objects not within your org structure. The only way to do this is to add a data filter to the search data element that filters out these objects (e.g. filter by a short code or name). Please note that you cannot filter by the key field (ID).

Org Unit Listing is empty

Hi everyone,
We have the Nakisa 2.0 version, and the problem is, that the Org Unit listing doesn't work at all.
There is no result for any kind of org Unit. (by name or id).
The data connection is: BAPI_OrgUnit_SearchList
I tried it with Data filter empty and with Objecttype='O' but the result was the same.

The log says:
ERROR: BAPI_OrgUnit_SearchListing_New : Source {Nakisa.SAP.Proxy}: Message {[SAPConnector.Bapi_Pdotypes_Getdetailedlist]: Error retrieving data - No objects found}
I created a test program in the R/3 system, and when I call the Function module, it returns the Org Units correctly (The FM returns an internal table with every org unit in the system.)
The BAPI_PDOTYPES_GETDETAILEDLIST is a very simple FM you just give the OBJECTTYPE parameter 'O' then it returns every org Unit int the OBJECTS table
The data connecton should be ok, because all the other connections (e.g. Employee listing) work fine.

Directory - Org Unit Listing Not Returning Any Results

Hello Everyone,
We are using Nakisa v4.1 on EHP7.0 at the moment. In the user interface, Directory > Org Unit Listing is not returning any results while Employee and Position Listings are working just fine.
What would be the cause ?

Org Unit to PA and PSA Inheritence issue

Hi,
I am trying to create an Org Unit with effective from today or a future date. When I do this, PA and PSA is not getting inherited for the newly created Org Unit.
But when I create an Org Unit with effective from past date, this issue is not there and works fine perfectly.
Note: The issue is there in the Development Client as of now. But there is no issue in quality. There was a recent patch that gets updated in Dev system. Not sure whether patch is an issue.

Reg: Workitem forwarding issue in SC workflow to a org unit

Hi,
     I have a problem in Shopping cart workflow.
When I try to forward the work item, the system is allowing me to forward it to only one person.
     I have two options. Please help me to achieve any of the two options.
Option1 : To forward it to list of users
Option2 : To forward it to an org.unit.
     For the first option, I dont have to facility to add two or more users.
     For the second option, I need to enable the search facility to search for org.units or convert this search into a collectiv search.
     Please help me to achieve any of this two options.

To forward it to list of users. say for example 5 users.
in SU01d, the email should be common e mail
test at the rate of usa.com for all the 5 users
.So when you are forwarding the email to test at the rate of usa.com it will go to all the 5 users.

Issue in PPOMA_CRM (BP's for Org units level1, level2 is not created)

Dear Gurus,
I am facing this issue in Solution Manager , where i have created Org Model in Tx: PPOMA_CRM.
The Coloumn (Business Partner) in this Tx does not show any number assigned to the group.
I deleted the whole structure and recreated it but , it was in vain.
I want to "Map"/"Link" the field "Support Team" in the Service desk ticket to the "Org Model " created in PPOMA , but i am stuck here .
I have also created "RULES" to automatically detect the Support Team using Tx:PFAC , but it does not work either.
Will you please direct me to some document other than "Adv setting doc for Service desk for Solman EHP 1" or any other blog or any suggestion where i can pin down the cause of this error and resolve it.

Org Unit to Cost center relationship issue

Hi All,
When I assign a Cost center to an Org Unit, i dont have any issues and got created. But when I assign the same Cost center to a different Org Unit, it delimits the previous Org relationship and creates the new one.
I checked the Relationship A011 time constraint and it is 2 which is with gaps.
This is strange and should not work in this way.

i understand that if you create new org unit with existing org unit which already maintained with its PA and PSA assigned in Account Assignment tab then its never occur this problem..but if you create your org unit out side the remaining structure the you must assign PA and PSA for this specific

Report to the employee list under an org unit for a specific PSA

Hello Experts,
Is there any standard report to see the list of employees belonging to a particular sub org unit under a particular personnel sub area?
For eg: There is a company X, and it has got 3 plants in blore, mumbai and chennai.
Blore , chennai amd mumbai represent the personnel sub area for the company X.
to see the list of employees working under operational sub org unit , under the org unit of company X in blore, is there any standard report in SAP??

Issue About Org/Pos Listing

Hello Everyone,
We are using Nakisa v4.0 and a live build. I want to ask is it possible to search for an Org Unit ID/Name and get the positions assigned to that OU ? What I have done so far is first searching the standart listing's configuration so as to understand what it gets and what it returns but as far as I see, I can not link the OU search to get Position details with standart configuration. I am also reading the Admin Guide pg.207 Custom Listing (actually it's v4.1's admin guide as there is no topic called custom listing in v4.0 admin guide) to have an idea how the configuration should be.
Any suggestions, please assist..

You would need to extend the functionality of the Position listing. This listing returns positions, but by standard you cannot search by OU ID.
The position listing uses this function module:
/NAKISA/OC_POSITION_LISTING

Finding out logged in Org Unit?

If a user is assigned to multiple org units within a single business role, he/she is given the option to select among the org units when Web UI is launched. After selecting, in the subsequent screens, how to find out dynamically which particular Org Unit he/she logged in through?

to get the Business role or profile using user name, pls use the class CL_CRM_UI_PROFILE_DETERM and use the method DETERMINE_PROFILE_VIA_ORG_MGMT.
to determin the logged in role and its organiztion unit proceed as follows
1) Get the user orgunit and roles list using the above said class - methoid which returns table
2) once you got the result get the Business role the user is currently loged in by using the parameter id CRMT_UI_PROFILE it will return the current business role.
3) now read the table in point 1 with this busineess role where u will get the orgunit.
more over there is no static method for the class CL_CRM_UI_PROFILE_DETERM so either you have to create the instance for this class or simply copy the code in the method DETERMINE_PROFILE_VIA_ORG_MGMT and use the same code some where else in the other class method.

The bp id for org unit does not exist

Dear expert,
after transport the org structure from dev to qty system , we found the bp id for org unit does not exist in qty system.
in ppoma_crm, we can see there is a bp id assigned to the org unit. however, when use tcode 'bp' to check the bp id, the system can not fould a valid id.
what can we do to solve the issue?
will there any impact if we keep no bp id for the org unit?

Hi,
You can use the transaction CRM_OM_BP_INTEGRATE.
Select the Org unit and enter the org id in the input field and execute it.
Select the org unit from the result list and click on the button Start Repair. This will create a BP without errors for the respective org unit.

Empty start validity date for an org unit

Dears!
some time ago we discovered a disturbing issue in Productive data. Some org units have an empty start date. I have no idea how it could be created by users, but now we need to solve it.
The records with empty start date are visible in PP01 only in Display mode.
The program RE_RHBEGDA0 (New start date) doesn't help. After running the new record for an object is created but there is still remaining the record with empty start date, but with shifted end date...
Do you have any idea how to solve this?

Hi,
You are right - user definitely couldn't create it. Probably you need to ask you ABAPer.
I can suggest you to try to copy original record and replace empty start date with valid one: PP01, IT1000, copy, change start date, save.
