Original activation of Mobileme

Immediately after I bought Mobileme, I preceded to activate it. Somehow I ran into a problem with my mobileme name and password. My account has been established and I can actually go to my Mobileme mail box see my Input, contact, etc; however if I go to control panel on my desktop to Mobileme Preference to sync stuff it gives me an error message that I have an invalid Mobileme name and password and it will not sync anything. I tried to re-activate using the activation code again; but, it will not allow me to do so. I have only had this program since July 11th, 2008. Is there anyway of getting another activation code and cancelling this one so that I can start all over again?
As a second option can I just re-start by doing a trial 60 day option of mobileme and be credited toward by original subscription?
Can some one PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!

3G originally activated&synced on Mac OS

3G originally activated and synced and maintained on Mac OS, but I am wondering if I can use a Windows XP machine now without having to start from scratch with my music and apps.....With the new Itunes 9.0.1.8 'HomeSharing" was wondering how to proceed?

Iphone will sync music with ONE computer at a time.
If you sync to another computer, all the music will be erased from the iphone and replaced with music from the new computer.
You can put all of the music/video/etc that you want on your new computer and then sync.
If you have at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the new computer, then you should get the option to merge the data when you first sync.

I'm having problems activating dreamweaver on new pc using original activation code

I have a copy of StudioMX 2004 and was having problems activating Dreamweaver on my new pc using the original code. It says there is a network error but there isn't. When I try to activate by phone the number they give is for Lloyds bank insurance. I did a live chat with Support and they gave me a new code which worked and activated Dreamweaver but I didn't think to activate Fireworks at the same time. When I have tried using either the old code or the new I get the same error message and same Lloyds bank phone number. I have tried live chat but they refuse to help saying they don't support Dreamweaver 2004 ..any one any ideas?

The version of Dreamweaver that you have does not support any of the latest web standards. While I advise you to follow Ken's instructions, I also want you to download a trial version of the latest Creative Cloud application https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/dreamweaver and give it a run. The page also has some excellent resources to help you get started.

I can no longer use my original activation key

I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 sometime ago and now I can no longer use it.
This product did cost me quite a bit of money so I would appreciate some assistance.
I've once registered and activated this product once before and it no longer wants to reinstall because it claims it was used once.I still have the original cd and product code with me.
Is it possible for me to confirm my purchase previously without haveing to buy another serial key?
I really cannot afford another.
This product was once active on this account but is no longer showing that I had ever had it. Please help.

Original activation info is required and I don't have it. what do I do?

I have an iPad 2 that I'm trying to activate. I did the whole DFU with it and now it won't go past the "activate iPad" mode. it's not accepting ANY information I put in. HELP!!!

DFU mode won't bypass the activation screen, only typing in the id and password that it's linked to in Settings > iCloud > Find My iPad (or potentially logging into that account on http://www.icloud.com and removing the iPad from it) will let you re-activate the iPad.

Is it your account that it's locked to, or was the iPad bought second hand ? If you bought it used and it's locked to the previous owner's account then you will have to contact the previous owner and ask them to remove the iPad from their account.
If it's your account then on the activation screen do you not have the first letter of the account and the provider that it's linked to - if you do then do you remember having an account with that id ? If you don't then might you have any of the account's downloads in your computer's iTunes library : Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name ?

After computer crash lost acrobat XI program. How to reinstall with original activation number and Adobe registration but no disks? Have program on my portable working?

After a computer crash I lost my Adobe XI programme. I have it on my portable but how to reinstall it without disks about but with Original Adobe XI number on my desktop? I have a cable which links computers would that work?.

You have to reinstall. Either use the same install file you used on your portable or download from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html.

HT2589 I get a warning about using my apple id in iTunes saying it is already active in MobileMe. why?

I am trying to change my iTunes account from old delinquent email address to a new one and when I attempt to use the Apple ID I have set up for everything else including iCloud now that I have upgraded to Lion I am getting the above warning. Help please?

It sounds like you are trying to create an ID using an address that already exists. If the address is already yours sign in using this account, don't try creating a new one.

So now I have iCloud and MobileMe accounts?

I only recently converted my MobileMe account to an iCloud account when I picked up an iPad running iOS 5. After following the instructions to complete the process I find I have an iClound email account as: [email protected], I expected to keep my original [email protected] MobileMe email address. I recently discovered that my old [email protected] email account is still active but must be set up on my iMac and iPad using Mail as a seperate MobileMe account.
I guess I wondering if I missed something during the conversion, specifically a prompt to keep my original email address. Is anyone aware of a way to consolidate these addresses or to cancel one of them?

You didn't convert it properly. The process is to go to http://me.com/move and follow the instructions, logging in with your MobileMe email address. Your email, calendars, contacts and bookmarks will be moved to iCloud; your iDisk will remain on MobileMe.
Your signature says you have 10.5.1; this is not compatible with iCloud - Lion 10.7.2 is required. It's possible to set Mail up manually to access iCloud email but no other iCloud facilities will work. If in fact you have Lion please amend you signature to prevent confusion when you ask a question.

Problem when syncing with MobileMe

I am using iPhone 3G, software 2.1. I use GMail for email (no problems) but my contacts, and only my contacts, sync through MobileMe.
The problem is that with MobileMe active, my Contact list, "Mail, Contacts and Calendars" settings and several other minor features simply do not work - they open, pause for a few seconds, then crash. The Mail application also hangs and crashes every other time I open it.
My local Apple Store restored 2.1, after which my Contact list and Email worked perfectly until I re-activated my MobileMe syncing, after which the problems resumed.
As the problems occurred only after MobileMe syncing is turned on, I assume this is the cause of the problem, but because "Mail, Contacts..." settings crashes every time I open it I cannot disable MobileMe syncing.
Any suggestions please? All help gratefully received...

This was resolved by completely removing the MobileMe account from the iPhone, rebooting it and adding the account again.

DSO activation failed due to creation of the export datasource failed

hi experts,
i am activating DSO, but failed. Cause is "The creation of the export DataSource failed"
there are many threads in the forum saying restoring the BI myself source system can address it, I tried many times, but failed.
I used program RSDG_ODSO_ACTIVATE to activate an already activated DSO, it returned same error and the original activated DSO turned into inactivated. So I guess there must be something wrong with the setting.

As I read the system RESTORE option should resolve your issue. From RSA1 try to restore your source system and try to active your DSO again.

I purchased an iphone 4 from a friend, i called the carrier and they have unlocked it for me but the phone still needs to be activated as i have restored it. Can i activate the iphone through itunes by using a different carriers sim card?

I purchased an iphone 4 from a friend, i somehow cleared it and it's now at the original activation screen, i have spoken to the carrier and they have unlocked it for me. Once the carrier unlock details get sent to apple, will i be able to use any carrier sim card to activate the iphone? currently when i connect to itunes it says the sim is not the original one and i need to insert the original sim... will this happen now that it has been carrier unlocked? i have been told the unlocking can take between 5 and 72 hours, do i just keep trying with itunes or do i have to do something different?
This is a christmas present for my son and i am running out of time, i'm not in an area that i can just go into an apple store and ask, i'm currently overseas in a very poor country and there are not many iphones that i have seen here so your help would really be appreciated.

Activity Templates inside Service Request Templates

I have run into a problem and I was hoping there is an easy solution.
I have built Activity Templates for Access Requests, one template per application.
Then I have Service Requests for per Job Code, which include up to 20 of those Activity Templates.
I did it this way specifically so if an Application Access process changed, I could just edit the Activity Template for that Application, and all the Service Requests that use that template would update as well.... or so you would think.
I just had to change some, and my service request is still showing the old templates, not the esits I did. I waited over an hour. Is this a workflow problem, or a functionality problem? If the Service Request Template saves when created instead of pullign
the activity templates each time its opened, it defeats my purpose of trying to do this modularly. This also makes absolutely no sense to me either, if that is in effect how it works.
What that will mean is I will have to edit every service request that uses a specific activity, instead of just that activity template.

Activity templates do not cascade. When you add an activity template to a Service Request, SCSM creates a copy of the activity template _inside_ the SR template. That's where they diverge.
Any further changes to the original activity template will not be replicated to any SRs that contain that activity.
I'm sorry to say that's the way SCSM's template management was implemented.

Can I swap out my sim from an activated 4GB phone to a new 8GB?

I recently bought a new 8GB iPhone (the 4GB just wasn't big enough!). I wanted to know if I could just swap in the old SIM chip and use the phone or if I had to go through the activation process again?

I think since the sim that you will be swapping into the 8gb iphone is already activated then itunes will recognize this and you won't have to go through the original activation process.
When my phone was replaced the guy at the apple store just swapped the sims and quickly did something on the computer. I just had to put in my voice mail pin and that was it.

Interactive activity with multiple transitions

I use BPM standalone and studio 10g. I create a business rule transition after an interactive activity. This activity also has an unconditional transition. If the amount is greater than 100, the process instance should go to the business rule transition.
However, in the real running process, if I set the amount is greater than 100, workspace will list 2 transitions (business rule transition and unconditional transition) path and let the user to select one.
If I set the amount to less than 100 (such as 10, 20), workspace just shows the unconditional transition.

Eduardo brings up a good point. When you have multiple Conditional transitions leaving an activity, you can specify the order in which you want them to be evaluated by right mouse clicking the originating activity -> "Conditional transitions order". This is helpful because, even though several conditional transitions can evaluate as true coming out of a single activity - you still only want the work item instance to flow out of the activity via one of them.
It would be good if you could do the same thing when you have multiple business rule transitions leaving an activity, but unless this has been fixed on a patch that I'm not currently using - you cannot do this with business rule transitions. Unlike Conditional transitions, when you have multiple business rule transitions coming out of an activity and more than one evaluates as true, you have no control over the sequence you want them to be evaluated.
Guessing you've already done this, but I believe your options are to:
1) Avoid having multiple business rule transitions coming out of a single activity or
2) Do what Eduardo suggests and to make sure that none of the rules overlap (e.g. "amount > 100 && amount < 300") or
3) Do Eduardo's other suggestion and have a cascading list of Conditional activities. Each Conditional activity has one unconditional transition (going to another Conditional activity) and one business rule transition. If the business rule is true, you're done. If it's not true then you continue to the next Conditional activity which also has an unconditional transition (going to another Conditional activity if you have 3 business rule transitions you wanted to evaluate) and a second business rule transition.
