Outbound Delivery Output Reqmt

The requirement is , the system should allow printout for a delivery note, ONLY if complete PGI has been done for that document. Else, it should give error message.
Requesting on how to proceed ahead on this.

Let me be more clear.
Output (printout) should NOT be got, when an user tries to MANUALLY print. (MANUAL O/P)
Requirement 1 holds good, when o/p is determined by condition technique, ie when C. Records are maintained.
System should NOT allow for printout, even when MANUALLY selected.
Typewriter:
The business requirement is self-explanatory. For all the goods in a delivery document, PGI should be done. (ie complete PGI)
Then only, an user should be ABLE to take printout of delivery note.OTHERWISE, system should NOT allow. ( & display an error message)

Outbound delivery output not re-determined during goods issue?

Hi,
i'm currently in the process of testing an SAP upgrade from 4.6B to ECC 6.0, and have encountered the following problem: one of our outbound delivery output types (LD00) is supposed to print out at goods issue (which happens in VT02N, by the shipment).
In 4.6B, the output determination procedure correctly triggers at goods issue, however, in 6.0, it doesn't. Re-opening the delivery in VT02n causes the LD00 to be determined after all, but by then it's too late.
Does anyone have the slightest idea why the output determination isn't re-evalutated at goods issue?

Hi,
Perhaps you are using an own VOFM subroutine to do filters if the output works or no. You create this subroutine with tcode VOFM, and after some steps you create an include in a report of SAP (SAPL). You can check if you are setting a VOFM in SM34/VVC_T683_XX_E1 for the output scheme. Sometimes is necesary to run this report to create and activate the report sapl, if no, when the abap call the subrutine, SAP doesn't find (perform * if found)
For VOFM there is a good document in google, format PDF, search it with the string inside vofm ext:pdf.

Outbound Delivery Output Type Rounded Value

Dear All,
The question is, I have an Outbound output type defined and currently in use. No routine is assigned. The problem here is in delivery, Material A with Delivery Quantity: 15.880 kg.
But when printing the output, the Delivery Quantity has been rounded off to 16 kg. Why? Please advise.

In the print program the coding was write down like that.
For example if the weight 15.400 kg system will take 15kg
or
If the weight 15.600 kg system will take 16kg.
That means in the print program coded like that for weight of the material. Take the help from ABAPER.

Condition table for outbound delivery

Hi guys
Is it possible to create a new condition table for outbound delivery output type with a field sold-to, although this field is available in the field catalogue , it does not show up during a table creation in the FieldCatlg,why?

Hi Dominik,
You need to Append the new fields which you want to see in the Field Catelog to create a condition table.
Please follow the following process
Got to T. Code SE11 andGive the Table name
Then click on the Button Append Structure and
Key in the name of you append starting with letter 'Z'.
Add fields whcih you want.
Activate the table.

if you want to use a Print Queue other then the ones displayed in your screen shot, then you can define one in the Workcenter 'Application and user management' -> view 'Print Queues'

VL06P _ Outbound Delivery Monitor

Hi all
I am using VL06P for creating Transfer order.. can i know why is there an OUTPUT PROPOSAL in the initial screen.
I could see nothing getting printed after creating the Transfer order.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,
This option is not for automatic printing though! However, only if you select the output type in the initial screen, you can then print out your output(Picking list or delivery note) using -> Subsequent functions -> outbound delivery output.
If you do not select any output type in the Delivery proposal screen, then you will not be able to process print outs from within the worklist. My client has been using this for some time now without any hassles!
Try it out and you will realise!

Output types are not getting displayed in Outbound Delivery in Display mode

Hello,
The actual requirement is that output types should get attched to the outbound delivery when we do GI(Good Issue) on the outbound delivery.
So, I have created an outbound delivery and did GI on it through IDoc. But, I can not see output types on the delivery (To see output types, go to Extra -> Output -> Header in VL03N) in the display mode. However, I can see in change mode (VL02N).
Could you please suggest the solution for this?

go to crm -> transactions -> basic settings -> define transaction types
copy default email cx03 and create new zemail.
assign that zemail to bus2000126 business activity.select the business activity and click on customizing header.assign the category email. click on channel. maintain the channels 1)GUI crm webclient UI, 2)ICW Interaction center webclient.
save the changes.
go to crm -> transactions -> basic settings -> settings for activities -> maintain categories, goals, priorities -> click on assign categories to transaction types.
assign the category email(which you have assigned above) to the transaction type zemail.
even check maintain categories as well
click on maintain categories -> check 401 email assigned to class G email.

Print HU label from Outbound delivery using output determination

Hi,
We have a business requirement to print HU labels from outbound delivery. The steps followed are
1) User executes VL02N
2) User clicks on packing
3) Material is entered to pack. HU is automatically generated.
4) After saving the delivery, output message is triggered.
Output determination is as follows
1) An Z output type is created.
2) Form entry and smartform name is assigned to this output type
Issue:
The issue is when the output message is triggered and the code in the form entry is executed, the handling unit (from nast) is not yet committed in the database. Since it is not updated in the database table, we cannot get any handling unit data to be printed.
Any inputs on how to print HU labels using output determination from outbound delivery is appreciated.

Output type not created for outbound delivery while using SHMNT05 idoc type

Hi Experts,
Please help me to solve the below issue.
Problem:- I want to to generate an IDOC(using type SHPMNT06) once the PGI is done for an outbound delivery.
Already it is working fine when used DESADV.DESADV01 or DESADV.DELVRY07. But now the output type is not getting created when used SHMNT.SHPMNT06. I have created a separate output type ZPJ7 just as a mirror copy of the earlier output type(ZPJ6) used for DESADV.DELVRY07.
Question:- Is it possible to use idoc SHPMNT06 instead for DESADV01 or DELVRY07? If yes then what are steps to be followed?
The reason why SHPMNT06 idoc is planned:- We have a scenario to send outbound delivery to 3rd party system via XI. If the outbound delivery is for National(Not for Export) and PGI is completed then send the idoc straight forward to XI otherwise DO NOT generate the idoc, but just create the delivery. Collect all the deliveries in a transport and send it in a shipment. The shipment details can be sent using SHPMNT idoc. Now from XI perspective, if we can utlitze the same SHPMNT idoc for the National delivery(1st case) then perhaps this will require less effort. Hence shipment idoc is required to be generated when the delivery is created and PGI is done.
Also it would be great if you can advice some better way to solve above mentioned scenario.

There could be several reasons. Go to the document and in the extras-output check output determination analysis in the processing log.
If the output has been created successfully then you need to see your printer determination. Ask basis to check it up. If the problem is that even the print preview is not coming. Check your communication in the output analysis and ensure LOCL is selected. Any other printer will need to be configured.
If thats done already then check whether you have maintianed the condition record.
If that too is done then check whether your output type has been assigned to the output procedure and that the output type is listed in the procedure.

Output determination for outbound delivery

hi ,
I have configured outbound delivery with standard output type LAVA.
The output type LAVA is determining automatically for header (EXTRAS-HEADER) whereas it is not determining for item ( EXTRAS-ITEM).
I am using Access sequence 0003 sales org/dis./div./customer .Also i have maintained condition record for 0003.
May i know why the output type is not determining for items?

Disable auto Pick confirmation for EK00 output - Outbound Delivery

Hello experts,
Need help with Outbound Delivery Picking output typ EK00, I have setup the output type to be triggered automatically upon Delivery creation, It's printing the pick List as desired, But the problem is it's also confirming the Pick quantity automatically. Is there a way to set up this output to just print the PickList and not confirm the Pick Qty ?

Hello Kris,
If you want to deactivate automatic picking confirmation, you have remove condition type WMTA which results in automatic confirmation of picking.
Go to NACE
Application V2
Here output type/ Condition record WMTA needs to be removed.
Also you have reconfigure movement type settings.

Execute.
select combination of warehouse number and movement type
ands reset the automatic TO indicator to keep it 'BLANK' in background processing Tab.
With this settings maintained you can stop picking status to 'C' automatically when delivery is cerated.

SPED output to create inbound from outbound delivery.

Hello,
I have used SPED output to create inbound delivery from replenishment outbound delivery.
when there is only one batch in outbound delivery, the inbound delivery is created and batch is copied from outbound to inbound delivery. item category is ELN in inbound delivery.
However when there is a batch split in outbound , then inbound delivery fails to create and the error log says that no item category exists for EL , CHSP in table T184 L (Message=VL320).
However I have maintained the following two entries for delivery item category determination as follows but still the error
EL (del type) + NORM+ V(usage)+blank= ELN (default item cat)
EL(del typ)+NORM+CHSP(batch split)+ELN(higher item)=ELN(default)
I have also removed higher item cat ELN from above table but still inbound delivery cannot be created. I have also added the entry EL+NORM+blank(for usage )+blank (high item ) =ELN but still the error remains as above and inbound cannot be created . that is i have also used the follwoing three entries but still error
EL (del type) + NORM+ V(usage)+blank= ELN (default item cat)
EL(del typ)+NORM+CHSP(batch split)+ELN(higher item)=ELN(default)
EL+NORM+blank (usage)+blank(higher item )=ELN (deafult)

Output Type for Outbound Delivery in VL02N

Hi All,
Could you please tell me how to maintain output types for a specific outbound delivery in ECC , so that inbound delivery is created automatically from it? is it maintained in VL02N? I actually searched this on various forums but did not find the correct answer, as everywhere only the customizing is given.

Hi,
You can maintain the output type SPED as below. Once you do PGI, SPED should be processed. If not , do it manually from VL71.
VL02N -> Extra>Delivery Output -> Header> Output Type = SPED

Error in the content of Delivery output ASN outbound IDOC

Hi,
I created an Delivery order for an SO and processed to PGI.
Then the ASN Outbound idoc is triggered successfully!
But when i checked the content of this ASN Outbound IDOC, i found some data were not populated into the IDOC from the Delivery order...
<b>So i should debug which program to determine the problem???</b>
I dont know which one is the right one for me to debug the problem:
1) debug the output FM for this IDOC
We19(entering the error IDOC)-->Test outbound
2)VL02N>Delivery output>Enter the output type>Then swiching on the debugging mode>Enter to debug???
For above 2, which one is the one who retrive the DO content into the output IDOC???

No processing log for outbound delivery for output type

Dear Gurus,
I want to see processing log for output type for outbound delivery .
But when i click processing log push button for output type for outbound delivey , one error is comming as 'NO PROCESSING LOG FOR OUTPUT TYPE'.
Could you please let me the reason ?

Hi,
What transaction are you running when you press the [Output log] button? If you're in the create transaction, then I think the output log should be available but if you subsequently go in to VL02N and press the Log button, the I don't think the log is available.
