P7-1380t CPU Not Supported

I have a n HP p7-1380t computer with:
Inland 500w PSU
H-Joshua-H61-uATX motherboard
nvidia GTX 660 graphics card
I just replaced the included i5-3330 processor with an i5-3570k and when I turn on the computer, an errror message comes up that says the CPU is not supported; then the computer automatically shuts down.
The i5-3570k has a TDP of 77w, which is an allowed wattage for the motherboard
See: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03135925&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en#N129
The error screen also says to press esc to go to the startup menu, but when I press esc, the only thing that happens is more text appears that says "startup menu". Then the computer powers off.
How do I get my PC to work with this new CPU?
Thanks.

    Hi,
Well, that why I said: check BIOS first. Other thing comes to my mind, the PSU is only 300W therefore it may not have enough power to drive the new CPU.
    Good luck.

  • Get Windows 10 app reporting 'CPU not supported' Acer Aspire 5738Z

Hi, My first post here so please be gentle I have an Acer Aspire 5738Z with a T4200 Pentium Dual core CPU running Windows 7 Home Premium. The Get Windows 10 app is telling me that I can't install Windows 10 because the CPU isn't supported. A bit of research suggests that this is because NX is not enabled in the Bios, however, even though the CPU supports NX there is no option to enable it in the latest Pheonix Bios incarnation (v1.34) on the notebook. I've chatted with Acer support but it seems all they can do is follow their script and point me towards the Microsoft website where you can check if Win 10 is going to be compatible with the notebook. This obviously pointless as I get the same result. Does anybody know how I can enable NX on the CPU please or if indeed the problem can be overcome by a different method ? I surely can't be the only one with this problem ? Cheers for any help offered

I don't know your CPU, but if your CPU  should normally support NX-feature (google said yes), this thread could be interesting  for you:http://community.acer.com/t5/Windows-10/AOD257-Windows-10-upgrade-reports-cpu-wouldn-t-support-NX/td-p/372309/jump-to/first-unread-message I have solved the NX-problem by installing a clean Win7. Additional hints: Here you can see if your CPU supports NX:Open Windows Explorer. Right click This PC or Computer and choose, ‘Properties’. Then select the ‘Advanced System settings’ option. Next, from the ‘System Properties’ window, select ‘Advanced’ tab. Choose the ‘Performance’ section now and from the new Performance Options window that appears on your computer screen, select ‘Data Execution Prevention tab’. If you see below a message like "Your computer's processor supports hardware-based DEP", your CPU should support NX You can also try the following:Open the Command Prompt with administrator rights! and enter:bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOnThis should enable NX in your Windows system (not in your BIOS). And if your BIOS is able to enable or disable NX (respective XD), you can look here:http://acer--uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27071/~/how-to-enable-or-disable-secure-bootUnfortunately my BIOS has no option to enable or disable NX and I  also can't select secure boot.

  • Can't open F-Fox 4 in my iMac G5 w/PowerPC CPU; icon says "not supported on this system"

I have a somewhat old iMac G5 with what I believe is a Power PC CPU. I have used Firefox as long as I've had this. I just downloaded the new Firefox 4, and it shows a classic "NO" symbol (slashed circle) over the new Firefox 4 icon. When I click on the icon I get: "You cannot open the application "Firefox" because it is not supported on this system."
Must I go into mourning? Has CPU old age finally caught up with me? I LOVE Firefox; I hate Microsoft. Must I abandon my true love?

There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox
The latest official version that works on OS X 10.4 and PPC Macs is Firefox 3.6.16 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

  • Not Support this type of CPU: 0f33

Hi. After I flashed the BIOS to version 2, I get this error message "Not support this type of CPU: 0f33". I can't get to a floppy drive or CMOS to recover the flash.
Has anyone else encountered this and if so, how did you get around it to recover?
    Thx

    MB MSI 848P Neo
    1 GB RAM
    Intel 2.8 CPU
    120 MB Hard Drive
Found this article and tried it. But still cannot get to anything. Have a bootable floppy with the old bios version but cannot get to the floppy to boot it. The MB just hangs on the screen display "Not support this typs of CPU:0F33". Any help would be great.
    Thx
Rename the desired AMI BIOS file to AMIBOOT.ROM and save it on a floppy disk. e.g. Rename A569MS23.ROM to AMIBOOT.ROM
Insert this floppy disk in the floppy drive. Turn On the system and press and hold Ctrl-Home to force update. It will read the AMIBOOT.ROM file and recover the BIOS from the A drive.
When 4 beeps are heard you may remove the floppy disk and restart the computer.

  • When I try to open the EOS digital solution disk ver 24.1 for my new Canon Rebel T3i camera on my Mac 10.5.8 a notice "this software is not supported by the CPU you are using" comes up.  What gives?

When I try to open the EOS digital solution disk ver 24.1 for my new Canon Rebel T3i camera on my Mac 10.5.8 a notice "this software is not supported by the CPU you are using" comes up.   Do I need this software?  Can I just download the pictures to my Mac without using the Canon software?

When I try to open the EOS digital solution disk ver 24.1 for my new Canon Rebel T3i camera on my Mac 10.5.8 a notice "this software is not supported by the CPU you are using" comes up
You need to contact Canon - or read the software specs - it sounds like the software you got form them is not supported by your computer
    Do I need this software?
Probably not - exactly what about it do you want?
Can I just download the pictures to my Mac without using the Canon software?
Probably - if you are shooting JPEG - launch iPhoto and in the iPhoto preferences set action when a camera is connected to launch iPhoto and connect your camera - iPhoto should launch and you should be able to import
Some cameras need to be set to mass storage mode - read your camera manual for details and procedures
If you are using RAW then your camera needs to be on this list and you need the versions of software noted - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4757 - for older OS versions you can use google to find the list of supported cameras

Is it possible to run Labview ver 6.5 with PowerPC as the target CPU and VxWorks as the target operating system?
If version 6.5 does not support this configuration, do any of the later versions support it?
I have an Ada executable that's creating a buffer of data that's being fed to a Labview executable that's displaying the data in a GUI.  We're re-architecting some legacy system hardware and I'm just trying to figure out if this configuration is even possible.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I never heard of LabVIEW6.5. I only know of LV6i, LV6.1 and LV7.0...

I basically have an Ada executable and Labview executable that currently run on a Sun Machine with Solaris as the operating system.  I'm re-architecting the system hardware and will be getting rid of the Sun Machine and Solaris.  I'm don't have any issues with the Ada executable, but I'm not sure what configurations Labview supports.

  • Error : Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32bit distribution

    Hi
I was trying to Install Oracle Enterprise Linux on VM ware version 6.
My hardware is Intel 32 bit.
However while booting from the DVD im getting an error as "Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32bit distribution."
    Please Advise
    Thanks

I had learned that the free DVD sets that Oracle ships are always for 64-bit systems. Owners of 32-bit systems will have to either download from http://edelivery.oracle.com or copy a distribution DVD from a friend. The 32-bit media can also be ordered from the http://oraclestore.oracle.com site for about $20USD.
Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

  • Achitecture Not Supported and CPU Extension SSE2 issue. Are there any solutions??

    I'm late to the game.
I purchased the CS3 Adobe Master Collection, I get and error that Adobe Premier and Soundbooth wont work with my "architecture".
I thought I had to upgrade to OS10.5 thinking that was the issue.
But now I find that it's not software at all...but Hardware.
The install screen states "Support for CPU extension SSE2" is not met.
And I searched the web for help, and ALL signs point "not being compatible with G5 PPC.
Is this still true? Is there really *nothing* I can do but BUY a new Mac with Intel to run them?
Is Adobe REALLY turning their backs on people without new Intel Macs?
PLEASE tell me there are patches and some work-arounds by now!

If your CPU does not support the command set needed to run the program... it will not run... no patches, since that hardware support is a key part of the software
You see it as Adobe turning away... Adobe (I don't work for them) sees it as a minimum hardware requirement

  • PSE 8 install question for Mac PowerBook G4, "Does not support PowerPC architecture CPU..."

I am getting the following message during attempted install of Photoshop Elements 8 for my Mac PowerBook G4 (OS 10.4.11):
"This product does not support PowerPC architecture CPU. Please upgrade or adjust your system to meet these requirements."
I double-checked system requirements listed online before purchasing software, and also checked requirements listed on outside of box before opening it. All looked fine,
Searching Adobe help has turned up nada, any thoughts out there?
    Thanks in advance,
    Laura

    Hi Laura,
I guess you must have missed something or misinterpreted something. Please check the requirements mentioned on the web page: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelmac/systemreqs/
which clearly says that it needs an  Intel® processor which means an iMac machine, Mac PPC are not supported in PSE 8 anymore.

  • OATS CPU does not support the SSE2 instruction set required to run JRockit

    Hello,
I am trying to get the OATS agents to work on some injector machines, however, when I try to start them I get the following error:
"[ERROR] Your CPU does not support the SSE2 instruction set required to run JRockit.
Could not create the Java Virtual Machine."
Is there a way to configure OATs to use the Sun JDK instead? I have the Sun JDK in my path and JAVA_HOME set accordingly, however that doesn't seem to make a difference. Alternatively, is there a workaround to this problem?
    Thanks,
    Michael.

    Hi Tab,
In this case, SQL Server Analysis Services doesn’t support Distributed Transactions by design. Here is a similar thread about this issue for your reference, please see:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/8b07be45-01b6-49d4-b773-9f441c0e44c9/olaplinked-server-error-msolap-for-linked-server-olaplinked-server-does-not-support-the?forum=sqlanalysisservices
One workaround is that use SQLCMD to execute the EXEC AT command and saved the results to a file, then import using SSIS.

Looks like the 64 Bit operating system is not supported. Enable the VT (Virtualization Technology) option in the BIOS and then give a try again.

    Hi Pros,
I have a new installation coming up of CCM 4.1.3 & Unity 4.0.5
Seems Cisco has sent wrong set of OS Cds for CCM. The Server is a IBM make (MCS 7825I1) with Prescott 3.4 CPU & 2GB RAM alongwith 2 * SATA 80GB HDD.
When I insert Hardware Detection CD for 2000.2.7 it says "This OS version does not support the detected server. Remove the disk and press any key to reboot.

Can I install like this - Run IBM ServeRaid, Prep server, Insert Win2k cd, then after install run OS Upgrade 2000.2.7
    Will this work?
    Regards,

i am not sure why the CPU speed should matter.......
I don't know what to say, if you have the "a" hardware detection disk, this should work. I have never had a problem once i had the right media so i will step aside and wait to see if someone else can help.
