Package question !! Help

Question

Hi I am trying to get a grip on packages in java.
Under my root directory I have created the following directory structure
>root
>com
>foo
>test1
PackageTest.java
>test2
PackageTest.java
The source code for the files PackageTest.java in test1 dir and PackageTest.java in test2 dir is as under:
package com.foo.test;
public class PackageTest{
public static void main(String[]args)
System.out.println("Hello World");
com.foo.test2.PackageTest t = new com.foo.test2.PackageTest();
package com.foo.test2;
public class PackageTest{
public static void main(String[]args)
System.out.println("Hello World");
Now when I compile PackageTest.java in the directory test1, (root\com\foo\test> javac PackageTest.java)
I am getting the error:
package com.foo.test2 doesn't exist
Please show how to compile and execute PackageTest.java in the dir test1 ??

You first compile the test2 PackageTest.java file using the command javac -d PackageTest.java which will create a folder sturcture as you wanted that is com.foo.test2 in this the file will be palced then you copy that file and place in where you want to test1 to get from then try to execute the test1 hope this should work fine.
OR
You first compile the test2 PackageTest.java B'coz you r using this file in the test1 folder. so do that.
