Packing Cost at Order Level

Hi all!!
I have a problem regarding transport & packing at order level:
how can i add (in pricing procedure) at cost level (at VPRS level, where i have the cost of material ordered by customer) the cost of packing and the cost of the transport.
Are there condition type that i can use?
For istance, in order (after i have done the packing proposals, i see that i will use 7 boxes (that costs 3 EUR/PC): there is a condition type (as VPRS ) that takes the cost of packing material and puts it in pricing procedure???
Many thanks to all.

Dear  Lakshmipathi,
thanks for your answer. I would like to have some info:
you say that i have to create a condition type & access sequence.
So:
1a) what kind of condition type? (like PR00 for packaging material, at price level, before tax in pricing procedure?)..
1b) if i try to give to Packaging Material a conditior record (with condition type PR00) why i don't see it in pricing procedure in the order? I have to insert packaging material as Item level? (because i have only done packing proposals)
2) i would prefer to put this condition type among costs (after VPRS)
3) if i want to insert shipment cost (always among costs after VPRS) what kind of condition type can I use?

  • Shipping cost at order level

    Hi all!
I have a problem regarding shipment cost in order.
I know that i can have shipment info in order, with path EXTRAS -- > SHIPMENT COST INFORMATION. (and that's ok).
But if i want insert the result of this simulation in PRICING PROCEDUREat the order level,
its going to log and if i open LOG.
its saying no delivery is created so there is no shipping document.
    regrds,
    balaji

    Dear Alba,
This is only simulation of the shipment cost to choose the better shippiment type(better shipment service at low cost).
Shipment cost no need not enter in the sales order price.
This will again get calculate when you create shipment cost document (VI01) with reference to the shipment document.
The shipment cost will calculate based on the pricing settings under Shipment cost.
I hope this will help you,

  • PAcking proposal at sales order level

    Hi friends,
I have a client requirement where packing should be done at sales order level.
Anyone let me know the config steps to do it.
    Thanks
    Ivy

    Hi,
For enabling the packing at sales order level, you need to first setup the basic packing configurations which are similar for packing at delivery level.
For automatic packing proposal, you need to have Packing instructions maintained through Txn -> POP1.
Then you need to maintain the master data for the determination of Packing instructions Txn -> POF1.
Once these settings are maintained, while creating sales order Goto -> Extras -> Packing Proposal.
System will give the default packing proposal based on packing instruction determined, which can be further used for automatic packing through Automatic packing button at header.
I hope this information will help you.
    Reward points if it helps.

  • Is there any way to generate Cost report at maintenance work order level

    Hi,

    Ramesh,
I am guessing those info cubes will only be populated, if Operational level costing has been activated in ECC 6.0 or it may just be the activity cost(Not necessarily the operation cost). This is because in standard, cost on the maintenance order is ONLY CAPTURED at Header level.I don't think you have operational level costing activated.
You could create your custom reports for time entry by capturing the operation number is any one of the unused fields and then using it for collecting the cost at operational level. The same can be done for service entry sheet. You could use a unused field (Ex: Reference number) to capture the operation number and use the same for your reporting needs.
You may have to do the same for other cost capturing objects like gods movements, Po's and Overheads(Just split the entire ovehead and apply it across the Operation).
Using proper validations on save of various transactions and implementing a custom report it is possible to get the same. However, unless you activate operational level costing you wont be able to get any standard reports.
    Hope it helps.

  • Costing affect with MRP at planned order level and after production order

    Dear all,
How the costing affect with MRP at planned order level and after production order completion?
Edited by: Maulik on Jun 24, 2009 1:59 PM

    Dear Maulik,
check Mr. Vinod's inputs abt costing
    1. Maintain following master data:
MM01 Material Master with Costing and accounting view. Make sure all the cost Std, Moving avg etc is maintained along with valuation class in Accounting view 1. In costing tab pls make sure "with qty structure" and "Material Origin" are ticked.
CS01 BOM with components marked with costing relevance in Status/Long Text Tab. Also check all the qty are correct.
CR01 Work Center in Basic data tab maintain standard value key sau SAP1 and in costing tab maintain the workcenter, activity type and formulas (Usually standard formulas like for Machine Hours SAP006, Labour SAP007, Setup Activity SAP005 is used).
KL01 Cretae activity types, in basic data tab maintain ATyp Category AS "1" and cost element (as provided by your FI Guy).
KP26 Activity pricing, here with the combination of Activity type and the cost center you assign price to the activity.
    2. SPRO Activity
Maintain Costing sheet IMGControllingProd cost controllingProd Cost PlanningBasic settingoverheadsdefine costing sheet.
OKKN Define costing variant, you define costing type (In the costing type, you define the purpose of a material cost estimate by specifying, for example, which field in the material master record the costing results can be transferred to like std price, moving avg etc), Valuation Variant (defines how the prices are prioratized), date control and transfer structure.
    3. Costing Process Flow:
    1. CK11N CREATE COSTING RUN
    2. CK24 CREATE PRICE UPDATE (You Mark and release the prce to be updated)
    4. COSTING VARIANT WRT PP
    1. OPL1 DEFINE COSTING VARIANT WRT PP
    2. OKK4 or OPN2 DEFINE VALUATION VARIANT
    3. OKK1 or OPM1 DEFINE COSTING TYPE
    4. OPL8 ORDERTYPE DEPENDENT PARAMETER (assign the above creted costing type for both planned and actual)
Hope this will throw some light on product costing.

  • CO02. Product Cost by Order.

  • Costs at Operation Level

    Hi,
I know that Costs at Operation Level is possible in Ehp6 version of ECC 6.0, but in our system it is not available/not showing. I hope some business function need to activate to get the Costs at Operation Level node,
Any body have idea how to activate this node in spro?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards
    Kalyan

    Hi Kalyan,
Probably following is the Business Function/s you are searching for.
    LOG_EAM_OLC (EHP5)
To use detailed planning, capture and reporting of costs at the order operation level. The operations have their own settlement rules enabling more accurate cost updating of multiple assets maintained using a single PM/CS order.
    LOG_EAM_OLC_2 (EHP6)
To use enhanced BI content and XI/ESR content to read and analyse OLC data.

  • Transportation costing : costing on header level, item/stage conditions

    Hello,
I am hoping that someone can help me with an issue in shipment transportation costing. At present, we would like to cost a number of conditions on the stage level, but have the cost show on the shipment header. The problem I have is that I do not know how to “transfer” the cost from the item level to the shipment level. The problem I have are
1 – The forwarding agent is charging us based on the most expensive tariff zone that we visit. For example, we have a shipment that visit the following tariff zone in the following order (stages)
    Delivery 1 Zone 1 – 30 euros
    Delivery 2 Zone 2 – 50 euros
    Delivery 3 Zone 3 -  100 euros
    Delivery 4 Zone 2 – 50 euros
    Delivery 5 Zone 1 – 30 euros
The forwarding agent would charge us 100 euros for the journey. The problem is that on the shipment header level, the system is taking the last visited tariff zone as the journey cost, and not the most expensive. While I could cost it per stage, the calculation is incorrect, as it is 30 + 50 + 100 + 50 + 30 = 260 euros. Is there a way to cost each stage (shipment item) but only transfer the most expensive cost on to the shipment header level and make it valid for costing?
2 – Some deliveries will require a “special” truck, and we are charged extra for this by the forwarding agent. The indicator to use this is captured on a delivery. However, I would like to cost this on the shipment header level, and not on the shipment item level. This is to ensure that it is costed only once per shipment. For example, if we have the following deliveries in a shipment and we are charged an extra 50 euros for the use of a truck with the special equipment, the cost would be
    Delivery 1 < - Special equipment
    Delivery 2 <- Normal
    Delivery 3 < - Special equipment
    Delivery 4 <- Normal
    Delivery 5 <- Normal
“Normal rate + 50 euros”, and NOT “Normal rate + 50 euro + 50 euros”. The problem is that if I cost this on shipment stage / item level, the cost appears twice. Is there anyway to capture the cost in stage level, pass it on to the header only once?
    Any ides?

    Dear Abdul,
1.What is the basis of tariff is it 100 EUR per which unit of measure. Pls clarify.
2You can cost it at shipment cost item level also at the cal base in condition type. I presume there is one shipment cost item leg for all these deliveries.

    Jatinder

  • Packing cost in production cost

    Hi Gurus,
My client is producing metal coated coil and from coil the produce roofing sheets. Products produce in every intermediate stage are saleable. They want to include the packing in production cost but they do packing only if that product go for sales otherwise same product they send for the next process without packing. They want packing cost in the production cost if the product goes for sale otherwise(if it is go for next process) production cost exclude packing cost. Can you please tell me how it can be done? How BOM and routing can be used in production order?
    Regards
    Rajib pathak

    Hello .
    First solution is,
Create separate material code for Packed material and Unpacked material . Here you can define the BOM & Routing for each material.
Second solution  is , if you donot want to create seriate material code ,
Create two production  version for intermediate material. Define  BOM & Routing  with packing for 1st  PV and Define BOM & routing with out packing for  2nd PV.
Now create production order and select the PV manually based on your requirement. Now packing cost will be added to production order for first PV.
For that you need to do following setting .
1.BOm selection   by production  version at MRP view
    2. Production version selection = manual  at for order type at OPL8.
Note:But if run the MRP, may be this will not work.
    Please try  and come back

  • Free Goods not getting Determined at the Order Level

    Dear All,
I have activated free goods settings and also maintained free goods master record for exclusive free goods. However when I am entering the main line item the second line item in the sales order which should contain the free qty is not coming, please advice what needs to be done.
    Kind Regards
    Atul

    Hi Jelena,
Thanks for your post with this I could find out what was happening. The following is the analysis once I switched on the free goods determination at the order level and below was the system response.
    Diagnosis
There are certain business transactions where it is not possible to
determine free goods in the SAP standard system: reason 3
         Explanation of reasons
1      Document category is not from sales order category (VBTYP <> 'C'
         2      Lower-level item
         3      Bill of material
         4      Product selection
         5      Configurable item
         6      Scheduling agreement/forecast delivery schedule
7      Item with active ingredient management
         8      Item without schedule lines
I had found that in my item category the structure scope was marked as A where it was exploding the single level bill of material.Once this configuration was turned blank which is no explosion the free goods were getting determined.
    Kind Regards

  • Credit check at sales order level?

    Dear experts
I want to set credit check at sale order level with following conditions
consider open deliveries for credit exposure
consider billing documents for creadit exposure
do not consider any open orders
Also if oldest items are open for more than 7days then block the sale order creation
e.g suppose customer is having credit limit Rs.100000/- and open deliveries against this customer is having the value Rs.50000/- i.e. credit exposure is Rs.50000/-. In this case system should block the new sale order created of value more than Rs.50000/-
    plz suggest the configuration steps

    Update: 000015
    Static check: TICK

  • SD Stock checkint at Sale order level

    Dear Gurus
I would like to know that, instead of delivery stage i would like to give control at the time of material entry in sale order level. Whenever user enters a material code system should not allow unless stock is there.
    regards
    Prasad

    Hi there,
Are you asking that in order entry if a material is not available, then the system should not allow to even enter the material?
May I know the reason for that?
Through customizing it is possible. But consider this scenario which you will surely come across in that case. Consider that you will code in such a way that material will have a block if stock is not available. Consider that on 13th Oct you will carry out stock inventory in your plant & find that 100 quantity is available. So you will remove the material block & allow order entry for that material. Consider that you have an order with quantity 150 logged in.  Since there is no block on the material, user will be allowed to enter the material.  Customer requires 150 but you have just 100. That means there is no sufficient stock available to fulfill your order. This will contradict your requirement. Right?
Unless the material is entered, system will not be able to carry availability check. Coz only then you will come to know what quantity the customer requires. Only then you will be able to confirm when the item will be available.
So what I feel is that your requirement may be feasible through customized user exists but it will surely have issues like above.

    Sivanand

  • How to read the Variance Analysis report S_ALR_87013139,  Pdt cost by Order

    Hi,
Could someone tell me how to read the variance analysis report, S_ALR_87013139 - Cumulative for product cost by order. The report has the following fields, Target (Debits),     Actual (Debits),     Scrap,     Var. Without Scrap,     Work in Process(WIP),     Control Costs.
I am looking to find how the numbers add up.
    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks Sridhar,
When I analyse the report S_ALR_87013139 - Cumulative , for a product for a period (with no scrap), I get the following
    Target (Deb) -   46,855.55
    Act (Deb) - 58,315.87
    Scrap - 0.00
    Var W/O- Scrap -  11,269
    WIP- 0
    Control Cost - 0
Here Actual - Target is not equal to Variance. What could be the issue?
Could you please tell me how SAP would update this report  with target & actual costs with respect to open production orders, carried over from previous periods.
    Thanks,
    Ram

  • AFRU table when a confirmations at the order level is entered?

    Hello,
I know that the users can enter a confirmation in the operation level (with the co11n transaction) or in the order level (with the co15 transaction).
What I want to know is if physically, in the AFRU table, when a user confirm directly an order (co15), do we find lines of confirmation for all the operations with quantities for all the operations (proportional) or just one line with the operation empy (at 0 for exemple) and all the quantity in this line?
    Thanks a lot,
    Regards,
    Julien

    Hi,
When you confirm order using CO15 at order level, there will be only one entry in AFRU table for all operations and Operation field in the AFRU table would be blank.Only Order number woule be present.
